The empirical data on traffic flows collected in the linear portion of the Lefortovsky tunnel of the third Moscow transport ring were analyzed. It was shown that the crowded traffic observed in the tunnel is indeed characterized by the synchronized vehicular traffic. In particular, long-range spatial correlations in their motion velocities and the region of “widely scattered states”, i.e., two typical properties of the synchronized vehicular traffic phase, were detected in the fundamental diagram. Moreover, the phase diagram of the traffic flow dynamics showed two regions with essentially different properties, which are separated by a narrow layer with a virtually fixed vehicle density. One of them corresponds to synchronized vehicular traffic and contains a core of chaotic dynamics. Another region corresponds to irreversible formation of wide moving jams.  相似文献

We present a cellular automaton (CA) model for vehicular traffic controlled by traffic lights. The CA model is not described by a set of rules, but is given by a simple difference equation. The vehicular motion varies highly with both signals’ characteristics and vehicular density. The dependence of tour time on both cycle time and vehicular density is clarified. In the dilute limit of vehicles, the vehicular motion is compared with that by the nonlinear-map model. The fundamental diagrams are derived numerically. It is shown that the fundamental diagram depends highly on the signals’ characteristics. The traffic states are shown for various values of cycle time in the fundamental diagram. We also study the effect of a slow vehicle on the traffic flow.  相似文献

针对传统车辆和协同自适应巡航控制(cooperative adaptive cruise control,CACC)车辆构成的异质交通流,研究其稳定性与基本图模型.应用实车测试验证的CACC模型和智能驾驶员模型(intelligent driver model)分别作为CACC车辆和传统车辆的跟驰模型,建立异质流稳定性解析框架,研究不同平衡态速度、不同CACC车辆比例时的异质流稳定性.推导异质流基本图模型,并进行数值仿真实验.研究结果表明,在传统车辆稳定的速度范围,异质流处于稳定状态.在传统车辆不稳定的速度范围,CACC车辆比例增加以及平衡态速度远离9.6—18.6 m/s速度范围,均能够改善异质流的不稳定性.通行能力随着CACC车辆比例的增加而提高.此外,CACC模型的期望车间时距越大,异质流稳定域越大,但通行能力降低.因此,恒定车间时距CACC控制策略下的期望车间时距取值应权衡异质流稳定域和通行能力两个方面的影响.  相似文献

We study the traffic states and jamming transitions induced by a bus (slow car) in a two-lane traffic of cars. We use the dynamic model which is an extended one of the optimal velocity model to take into account the lane changing. The fundamental (flow-density) diagram is presented. The fundamental diagram changes highly by introducing a bus on a two-lane roadway. It is found that there are the six distinct states for the two-lane traffic flow including a bus. The spatio-temporal patterns are presented for the distinct traffic states. The dynamical state of traffic changes with density of cars. It is shown that the dynamical transitions among the distinct traffic states occur at some values of density. The phase diagram (region map) is shown for the two-lane traffic flow including a bus.  相似文献

The relation between flow and density is an essential quantitative characteristic to describe the efficiency of traffic systems. We have performed experiments with single-file motion of bicycles and compared the results with previous studies for car and pedestrian motion in similar setups. In the space–time diagrams we observe three different states of motion (free flow state, jammed state and stop-and-go waves) in all these systems. Despite their obvious differences they are described by a universal fundamental diagram after proper rescaling of space and time which takes into account the size and free velocity of the three kinds of agents. This indicates that the similarities between the systems go deeper than expected.  相似文献

This paper studies the effect of adaptive cruise control (ACC) system on traffic flow by using simulations. The multiple headway and velocity difference (MHVD) model is used to depict the motion of ACC vehicles, and the simulation results are compared with the optimal velocity (OV) model which is used to depict the motion of manual vehicles. Compared the cases between the manual and the ACC vehicle flow, the fundamental diagram can be classified into four regions: I, II, III, IV. In low and high density the flux of the two models is the same; in region II the free flow region of the MHVD model is enlarged, and the flux of the MHVD model is larger than that of the OV model; in region III serious jams occur in the OV model while the ACC system suppresses the jams in the MHVD model and the traffic flow is in order, but the flux of the OV model is larger than that of the MHVD model. Similar phenomena also appeared in mixed traffic flow which consists of manual and ACC vehicles. The results indicate that ACC vehicles have significant effect on traffic flow. The improvement induced by ACC vehicles decreases with the increasing proportion of ACC vehicles.  相似文献

Traffic flow at low densities (free traffic) is characterized by a quasi-one-dimensional relation between traffic flow and vehicle density, while no such fundamental diagram exists for ‘synchronized’ congested traffic flow. Instead, a two-dimensional area of widely scattered flow-density data is observed as a consequence of a complex traffic dynamics. For an explanation of this phenomenon and transitions between the different traffic phases, we propose a new class of molecular-dynamics like microscopic traffic models based on times to collisions and discuss the properties by means of analytical arguments. Similar models may help to understand the laminar and turbulent phases in the dynamics of stock markets as well as the transitions among them.  相似文献

A simulation to model traffic on a multilane freeway is introduced starting from microscopic driving rules. The model takes each individual car into account with its individual features and actual situations, so that a distribution of parameters as well as different behaviors can easily be analyzed. Therefore, a detailed study of certain situations, driving tactics, vehicle properties, and their influence on the global traffic flow can be performed. The model is discussed, as are first results such as the influence of driver behavior on the fundamental diagram and, in addition, the dynamics of microscopic, individual quantities like separation and difference in speed between successive cars. It turns out that a hysteresis in the reaction of the driver for speeding up and slowing down plays an important role, and effects macroscopic quantities like the shape of the fundamental diagram, e.g., the metastable behavior around the maximum flow and on the speed of observed jams running backward. Furthermore, microscopic time resolved characteristics are strongly influenced, e.g., oscillations in the distance and relative speed between successive cars.  相似文献

在NaSch模型的基础上,制订了超车规则,建立了双向两车道混合车辆的元胞自动机交通流模型. 用计算机模拟了车道密度对称和不对称两种情况下不同参数的混合车辆交通流,得出了相应的速度、流量与密度关系的基本图. 经分析发现,双向两车道混合车辆交通状态可分为快车特性区、准慢车特性区和慢车特性区;两车道上车辆密度的不对称性对交通流有重要的影响. 关键词: 元胞自动机 交通流 混合车辆交通流  相似文献

Based on the Ishibashi and Fukui crossroad traffic flow model [Y. Ishibashi and M. Fukui. J. Phys. Soc. Japan. 70 (2001) 2793], mixed traffic flow (i.e., the fast and slow vehicles with different maximum velocities are mixed) is investigated in this work. According to the numerical simulation results and the principle for constructing the phase diagram, phase diagrams for mixed traffic flow are constructed. It is noted that the topology of these phase diagrams is similar to that of phase diagrams for homogeneous vehicles (which refers to slow vehicles only). From the phase diagrams, it is evident that mixed traffic flow is influenced by the mixing rate f (fraction of slow and fast vehicles) in regions II and V, but not in other regions. Although a mixture of fast and slow vehicles is introduced in the crossroad traffic flow model, the separation between phases in the phase diagrams remains linear. For a given q (the vehicle density on the northbound road), one flow plateau appears in regions IIx or IVy, while two maximum flow plateaus appear in region V in each of the phase diagrams. The maximum flow values in region V reflect the maximum traffic capacity for the traffic system as defined in this work. Since mixed traffic flow is a common phenomenon in real traffic, this work may offer help in real traffic simulations and traffic management.  相似文献

We study the dynamical behavior of counter traffic flow through a sequence of signals (traffic lights) controlled by a phase shift. There are two lanes for the counter traffic flow: the first lane is for east-bound vehicles and the second lane is for west-bound vehicles. The green-wave strategy is studied in the counter traffic flow where the phase shift of signals in the second lane has opposite sign to that in the first lane. A nonlinear dynamic model of the vehicular motion is presented by nonlinear maps at a low density. There is a distinct difference between the traffic flow in the first lane and that in the second lane. The counter traffic flow exhibits very complex behavior on varying the cycle time, the phase difference, and the split. Also, the fundamental diagram is derived by the use of the cellular automaton (CA) model. The dependence of east-bound and west-bound vehicles on cycle time, phase difference, and density is clarified.  相似文献

This paper presents a continuum approach to model the dynamics of cooperative traffic flow. The cooperation is defined in our model in a way that the equipped vehicle can issue and receive a warning massage when there is downstream congestion. Upon receiving the warning massage, the (up-stream) equipped vehicle will adapt the current desired speed to the speed at the congested area in order to avoid sharp deceleration when approaching the congestion. To model the dynamics of such cooperative systems, a multi-class gas-kinetic theory is extended to capture the adaptation of the desired speed of the equipped vehicle to the speed at the downstream congested traffic. Numerical simulations are carried out to show the influence of the penetration rate of the equipped vehicles on traffic flow stability and capacity in a freeway.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the on-ramp system on the highway using cellular automaton traffic model. Different from previous work, we introduce traffic signal to control the vehicle flows on the main road and the on-ramp. A method of signal controlling is presented, and the update rule in special road is given in detail according to the stimulation role of signal to the drivers. The simulation results show that, the phase diagram of on-ramp system is divided into three regions. The currents of the on-ramp system are discussed. Under the control role of traffic signal, the vehicle flows of the main road and the on-ramp can become orderly. The capacity of the system may keep a maximum value. In addition, the drastic velocity fluctuation is discussed near the on-ramp. A dangerous condition in Jiang et al. [Phys. Rev. E 66 (2002) 036104] can be effectively avoided.  相似文献

在一维交通流元胞自动机NaSch模型的基础上,优先考虑驾驶员的不确定性敏感预期行为, 将随机延迟过程放在确定性减速之前,从而建立一种新的一维元胞自动机交通流模型:敏感驾驶模型 (简称SDNaSch模型),并根据所给出的车辆状态演化的并行更新规则作了数值模 拟,模拟得到的基本图表明,与NaSch模型相比,道路交通量有较大提高,接近于实测数据 ,说明新模型能更贴切地描述交通现象;某些密度区域流量出现两个分支,表明在临界点附 近存在亚稳态;而且会出现畅行相与阻塞相的相分离界面. 从车辆速度分布演化的时空斑图 ,可以看到宽幅运动阻塞相的出现以及畅行相→宽幅运动阻塞相和宽幅运动阻塞相→畅行相 的相变. 接着,计及实际交通情况,考虑行驶车辆中一部分是敏感驾驶,而其余车辆按NaSc h模型规则行驶,数值模拟结果进一步证明,敏感驾驶因素对车流的作用是很大的,随着敏 感驾驶车辆的增多,道路容量也随之提高. 关键词: 交通流 元胞自动机模型 亚稳态 相分离 交通相变  相似文献

In this paper, phase transitions are investigated in speed gradient model with an on-ramp. Phase diagrams of traffic flow composed of manually driven vehicles and adaptive cruise control (ACC) vehicles are studied, respectively. The traffic flow composed of ACC vehicles is modeled by enhancing propagation speed of small disturbance. The phase diagram of traffic flow composed of manually driven vehicles is similar to that in previous works, in which such states as pinned localized cluster (PLC), moving localized cluster (MLC), triggered stop-and-go traffic (TSG), oscillatory congested traffic (OCT), and homogeneous congested traffic (HCT) are reproduced. In the phase diagram of traffic flow composed of ACC vehicles, traffic stability is enhanced and such states as PLC, MLC, and TSG disappear. Furthermore, some interesting phenomena, such as stationary OCT upstream of on-ramp and appearance of second OCT in HCT, are identified.  相似文献

In this paper, the delay probability of the original Nagel and Schreckenberg model is modified to simulate one-lane traffic flow. The delay probability of a vehicle depends on its corresponding gap. According to simulation results, it has been found that the structure of the fundamental diagram of the new model is sensitively dependent on the values of the delay probability. In comparison with the NS model, one notes that the fundamental diagram of the new model is more consistent with the results measured in the real traffic, and the velocity distributions of the new model are relatively reasonable.  相似文献

The synchronized flow traffic phase of Kerner’s three-phase traffic theory can be well reproduced by the model proposed by Jiang and Wu [R. Jiang, Q.S. Wu, J. Phys. A: Math. Gen. 36 (2003) 381]. But in the Jiang and Wu model, the rule for brake light-after switching on, the brake light will not set off until the vehicle accelerates-is obviously unrealistic. Thus we improved the model by considering the difference in accelerating and decelerating performance under different driving conditions. The fundamental diagram and spatial-temporal diagrams are analyzed. We confirmed that the new model could reproduce the synchronized flow by two methods, i.e. the traffic flow interruption effect and performing microscopic analysis of time series data. Simulation results show that the decelerating difference is an important factor to reproduce the synchronized flow. We expect that our work could make contributions to understanding the mechanism of the synchronized flow.  相似文献

采用元胞自动机模型对城市道路中公交车站影响下的交通流特性进行模拟分析.研究了非港湾式车站和港湾式车站两种设置方式下交通流特性,对公交车比例和公交车站长度的影响进行了分析.模拟结果显示非港湾式车站对交通流的影响较大,通过增加车站长度并不能有效地提高系统流量;港湾式车站对交通流的影响较小,通过增加车站长度可以较大程度地增加系统流量. 关键词: 公交车站 混合交通流 元胞自动机  相似文献

研究Nagel-Schreckenberg(NS)交通流元胞自动机模型在不考虑车辆随机延迟情况下的决定论性模型的基本图,即渐近稳态的车流平均速度作为车辆密度的函数关系.证明决定论性NS模型,在车流的自组织作用下,其渐近稳态的基本图,与决定论性Fukui-Ishibashi(FI)交通流模型的基本图完全相同.这个结果表明,若把FI交通流模型中的车辆突然加速方式(即车辆速度可以在仅仅一个时步内加速到其最高速限M或前方空距所允许的最大速度),改变为车辆逐步加速方式(车辆速度在每一时步中最多仅能增加一个速度单位),则车辆的自组织相互作用,并不会改变其车流的长时间渐近稳态行为. 关键词:  相似文献
