The thermal reaction of 2-pentene (cis or trans) has been performed in a static system over the temperature range of 470°–535°C at low extent of reaction and for initial pressures of 20–100 torr. The main products of decomposition are methane and 1,3-butadiene. Other minor primary products have been monitored: trans-2-pentene, trans- and cis-2-butenes, ethane, 1,3-pentadienes, 3-methyl-1-butene, propylene, 1-butene, hydrogen, ethylene, and 1-pentene. The initial orders of formation, 0.8–1.1 for most of the products and 1.5–1.8 for 1-pentene, increase with temperature. The formation of the products and the influence of temperature on their orders can be essentially explained by a free radical chain mechanism. But cistrans or transcis isomerization and hydrogen elimination from cis-2-pentene certainly involve both molecular and free radical processes. The formation of 1-pentene mainly occurs from the abstraction of the hydrogen atom of 2-pentene by resonance stabilized free radicals (C5H9.).  相似文献

Relative rate constants for the reactions of hydroxyl radicals with a series of alkyl substituted olefins were measured by competitive reactions between pairs of olefins at 298 ± 2 K and 1 atmospheric pressure. Hydroxyl radicals were produced by the photolysis of H2O2 with 254-nm irradiation. The obtained rate constants were (× 10?11 cm3 molecule?1 s?1): 2.53 ± 0.06, propylene; 5.49 ± 0.17, cis-2-butene; 5.47 ± 0.1, isobutene; 6.46 ± 0.13, 2-methyl-1-butene; 6.37 ± 0.16, cis-2-pentene; 6.23 ± 0.1, 2-methyl-1-pentene; 8.76 ± 0.14, 2-methyl-2-pentene; 6.24 ± 0.08, trans-4-methyl-2-pentene; 10.3 ± 0.1, 2,3-dimethyl-2-butene; 9.94 ± 0.1, 2,3-dimethyl-2-pentene; 5.59 ± 0.07, trans-4,4-dimethyl-2-pentene. A trend in alkyl substituent effect on the rate constant was found, which is useful to predict kOH on the basis of the number of alkyl substituents on the double bond.  相似文献

The kinetics of the di- and trimerization of ethylen in organic solvents under the influence of a homogeneous catalyst containing π-tetramethylcyclobutadiene-nickeldichloride and a prereacted mixture of ethylaluminiumdichloride and tri-n-butylphosphine are reported. The primary reaction product is 1-butene, which is isomerized to 2-butene (cis/trans) during the reaction. The C6-Olefins are formed by the reaction of ethylene with 1-butene and with the 2-butenes. The following primary reaction products are obtained: 3-hexene (cis/trans), 1-hexene, 2-ethyl-1-butene, 3-methyl-1-pentene and 3-methyl-2-pentene (cis/trans). The effect of other phosphines on the reaction was also studied. The relative composition of the reaction product is strongly dependent upon the amount and the LEWIS base strength of the phosphine present. The results are in accordance with a coordinative mechanism on nickel.  相似文献

Treatment of olefinic hydrocarbons with phenyltellurium tribromide or a mixture of diphenylditelluride and bromine in alcohol affords (β-alkoxyalkyl)phenyltellurium dibromides in fair to good yield (alkoxytelluration of olefins). Various aryltellurium trichlorides, diphenylditelluride/CuCl2, and phenyltellurocyanate/CuCl2 can be used for the preparation of (β-alkoxyalkyl)aryltellurium dichlorides. Similar reactions in aqueous tetrahydrofuran or aqueous t-butyl alcohol result in the formation of the corresponding β-hydroxy compound (hydroxytelluration of olefins). The reaction is trans stereospecific in the cases of cis-2-butene and cis- and trans-4-octenes and regiospecific in the cases of all terminal olefins examined (1-hexene, 1-octene, 1-decene, styrene, α-methylstyrene, 2-methyl-1-pentene, and isobutylene), tellurium species attacking the terminal carbon solely. The diorganyltellurium dihalide produced is reduced to the corresponding diorganyltelluride by reducing agents such as N2H4, Na2S, Na2S2O3, and NaHSO4 in aqueous solution. Treatment of the diorganyltellurium dibromide with aqueous NaOH affords either an allylic ether (by telluroxide elimination) or a telluroxide depending on the structure of the telluroxide.  相似文献

The Hg(63P1) photosensitized decompositions of 3-methyl-1-butene, 2-methyl-2-butene, 3,3-dimethyl-1-butene, and 2,3-dimethyl-1-butene have been used to generate 1-methylallyl, 1,2-dimethylallyl, 1,1-dimethylallyl, and 1,1,2-trimethylallyl radicals in the gas phase at 24 ± 1°C. From a study of the relative yields of the CH3 combination products, the relative reactivities of the reaction centers in each of these unsymmetrically substituted ambident radicals have been determined. The more substituted centers are found to be the less reactive, and this is ascribed primarily to greater steric interaction at these centers during reaction. Measurement of the ratio of trans- to cis-2-pentene formed from the 1-methylallyl radical, combined with published values for this ratio at higher temperatures, enabled the differences in entropy and heat of formation of the trans- and cis-forms of this radical to be calculated as 0.62 ± 0.85 J mol?1 K?1 and - 0.63 ± 0.25 kJ mol?1, respectively, at 298K. Approximate values of the disproportionation/combination ratios for reaction of CH3 with 1,1-dimethylallyl and 1-methylallyl have been estimated and used to compute rate constants for the recombinations of tert-butyl and isopropyl radicals that are in agreement with recently published data.  相似文献

The gas-phase reaction of ozone with eight alkenes including six 1,1-disubstituted alkenes has been investigated at ambient T (285–298 K) and p = 1 atm. of air. The reaction rate constants are, in units of 10−18 cm3 molecule−1 s−1, 9.50 ± 1.23 for 3-methyl-1-butane, 13.1. ± 1.8 for 2-methyl-1-pentene, 11.3 ± 3.2 for 2-methyl-1,3-butadiene (isoprene), 7.75 ± 1.08 for 2,3,3-trimethyl-1-butene, 3.02 ± 0.52 for 3-methyl-2-isopropyl-1-butene, 3.98 ± 0.43 for 3,4-diethyl-2-hexene, 1.39 ± 17 for 2,4,4-trimethyl-2-pentene, and >370 for (cis + trans)-3,4-dimethyl-3-hexene. For isoprene, results from this study and earlier literature data are consistent with: k (cm3 molecule−1 s−1) = 5.59 (+ 3.51, &minus 2.16) × 10−15 e(−3606±279/RT), n = 28, and R = 0.930. The reactivity of the other alkenes, six of which have not been studied before, is discussed in terms of alkyl substituent inductive and steric effects. For alkenes (except 1,1-disubstituted alkenes) that bear H, CH3, and C2H5 substituents, reactivity towards ozone is related to the alkene ionization potential: In k<(10−18 cm3 molecule−1 s−1) = (32.89 ± 1.84) − (3.09 ± 0.20) IP (eV), n = 12, and R = 0.979. This relationship overpredicts the reactivity of C≥3 1-alkenes, of 1,1-disubstituted alkenes, and of alkenes with bulky substituents, for which reactivity towards ozone is lower due to substituent steric effects. The atmospheric persistence of the alkenes studied is briefly discussed. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The gas-phase reaction of ozone with C5? C10 alkenes(eight 1-alkenes, four 1,1-disubstituted alkenes, and cyclohexene) has been investigated at atmospheric pressure and ambient temperature (285–293 K). Cyclohexane was added to scavenge the hydroxyl radical, which forms as a product of the ozone-alkene reaction. The reaction rate constants, in units of 10?18 cm3 molecule?1 s?1, are 9.6±1.6 for 1-pentene, 9.7±1.4 for 1-hexene, 9.4±0.4 for 1-heptene, 12.5±0.4 for 1-octene, 8.0±1.4 for 1-decene, 3.8±0.6 for 3-methyl-1-pentene, 7.3±0.7 for 4-methyl-1-pentene, 3.9±0.9 for 3,3-dimethyl-1-butene, 13.3±1.4 for 2-methyl-1-butene, 12.5±1.1 for 2-methyl-1-pentene, 10.0±0.3 for 2,3-dimethyl-1-butene, 13.7±0.9 for 2-ethyl-1-butene, and 84.6±1.0 for cyclohexene. Substituent effects on alkene reactivity are examined. Steric effect appear to be important for all 1,1-disubstituted alkenes as well as for those 1-alkenes that bear s-butyl and t-butyl groups. The results are briefly discussed with respect to the atomospheric persistence of the alkenes studied. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

1-Butene, cis/trans-2-butene and 2-methylpropene were polymetalated by treatment with the product obtained by combination of n-butyllithium and potassium t-amyloxide. Polymetalation was determined by quenching with deuterium oxide and analysis by gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer combination. The rate of metalation was followed by n-butane evolution. Approximately 20% of cis-2-butene exclusively was realized after H2O quench of the reaction of 1-butene/n-butyllithium/ potassium t-amyloxide for 1.0 h at room temperature. A small amount (7%) of a cis/trans-2-butene mixture was isomerized to 1-butene and the remaining 2-butene was enriched in the cis-isomer. The assumption that n-butylpotassium was the active metalating species was confirmed by the dependency on lithium/potassium ratio, relative ease of organometallic decomposition at 70°, rapid reaction with monochlorostyrene at room temperature, and the similarity to organosodium and organopotassium isomerization of olefins.  相似文献

2-(1′-cis,3′-cis-)- and 2-(1′-cis,3′-trans-Penta-1′,3′-dienyl)-phenol (cis, cis- 4 and cis, trans- 4 , cf. scheme 1) rearrange thermally at 85–110° via [1,7 a] hydrogen shifts to yield the o-quinomethide 2 (R ? CH3) which rapidly cyclises to give 2-ethyl-2H-chromene ( 7 ). The trans formation of cis, cis- and cis, trans- 4 into 7 is accompanied by a thermal cis, trans isomerisation of the 3′ double bond in 4. The isomerisation indicates that [1,7 a] hydrogen shifts in 2 compete with the electrocyclic ring closure of 2 . The isomeric phenols, trans, trans- and trans, cis- 4 , are stable at 85–110° but at 190° rearrange also to form 7 . This rearrangement is induced by a thermal cis, trans isomerisation of the 1′ double bond which occurs via [1, 5s] hydrogen shifts. Deuterium labelling experiments show that the chromene 7 is in equilibrium with the o-quinomethide 2 (R ? CH3), at 210°. Thus, when 2-benzyl-2H-chromene ( 9 ) or 2-(1′-trans,3′-trans,-4′-phenyl-buta1′,3′-dienyl)-phenol (trans, trans- 6 ) is heated in diglyme solution at >200°, an equilibrium mixture of both compounds (~ 55% 9 and 45% 6 ) is obtained.  相似文献

Positional isomerization of alkenes was studied in the presence of Pd(acac)2 + 20BF3OEt2 catalytic system. The reactivity of alkenes decreases in the following order: 1-hexene > 1-heptene > 2-methyl-1-pentene > 4-methyl-2-pentene (cis + trans).  相似文献

1-, 2-cis-, 2-trans-, and 3-trans-heptenes (C7)are isomerized either very slowly or not at all with IrX(CO)L2 at 80°C in toluene and under N2. However, under the conditions of hydrogenation fast isomerisation takes place. With IrCl(CO)L2 as catalyst the rate of isomerisation decreases the order: 1-C7 ∼ 2-cis-C7 > 3-trans-C7 > 2-trans-C7. This sequence is independent of the ligand L in lrCl(CO)L2, however, with a particular isomer the rate of isomerisation is a function of L in the order L = PPh3 > P(C6H11)3 > P(OPh)3.  相似文献

The photolysis of SO2 at 3130 Å, FWHM = 165 Å, and 22°C has been investigated in the presence of cis- and trans-2-pentene. Quantum yields for the SO2 photosensitized isomerization of one isomer to the other have been made for a variation in the [SO2]/[C5H10] ratio of 3.41–366 for cis-2-C5H10 and of 1.28–367 for trans-2-C5H10. A kinetic analysis of each of these systems permitted new estimates to be made for the SO2 collisionally induced intersystem crossing ratio at 3130 Å from SO2(1B1) to SO2(3B1). The estimates of k1a/(k1a + k1b) obtained are 0.12 ± 0.01 and 0.12 ± 0.02 (two different kinetic analyses in the cis-2-C5H10 study) and 0.20 ± 0.05 and 0.20 ± 0.04 (two different kinetic analyses in the trans-2-C5H10 study). Collisionally induced intersystem crossing ratios of k2a/(k2a + k2b) = 0.51 ± 0.10 and k3a/(k3a + k3b) = 0.62 ± 0.12 were obtained for cis- and trans-2-pentene, respectively. Quenching rate constants at 22°C for removal of SO2(3B1) molecules by cis- and trans-2-C5H10 were estimated as (1.00 ± 0.29) × 1011 l./mole·sec and (0.857 ± 0.160) × 1011 l./mole/sec, respectively. Prolonged irradiations, extrapolated to infinite irradiation times, for mixtures initially containing SO2 and pure isomer, either the cis or trans, yielded a photostationary composition of [trans-2-pentene]/[cis-2-pentene] = 2.1 ± 0.1.  相似文献

1-cis, 2-cis-Dipropenylbenzene (cis, cis- 1 ) isomerises thermally at 215–235° with 1st order kinetics to give trans, cis- 1 and vice versa. At equilibrium 89% trans, cis- and 11% cis, cis- 1 are present. It is shown by thermal rearrangement of cis, cis-2′, 2″-d2- 1 that the isomerisation is attributable to aromatic [1, 7a]-sigmatropic H-shifts. trans, trans- 1 rearranges thermally at 225–245° to yield 2, 3-dimethyl-1, 2-dihydronaphthalene ( 2 ). The formation of 2 can be visualized by disrotatory ring closure followed by an aromatic [1, 5s]-sigmatropic H-shift. 2 is also formed when, cis, cis- or trans, cis- 1 are heated for 153 h at 225°. Besides 2 a small amount (3%) of 1-ethyl-1, 2-dihydronaphthalene ( 5 ) is formed. The rearrangement of trans, trans- 1 and trans, trans-2′, 2″-d2- 1 shows a secondary isotope effect kH/kD = 0,90.  相似文献

In this range, the rate constants are (in units 10?11 cm3 s?1): (1.1 ± 0.1) exp[+(180 ± 24)K/T]; (0.98 ± 0.09) exp[+(149 ± 23)K/T]; (1.14 ± 0.13) exp[+(128 ± 33)K/T]; (2.34 ± 0.16) exp[+(250 ± 16)K/T]; and (3.31 ± 0.50) exp[+(257 ± 36)K/T], respectively. The atoms were generated by the H2 laser photolysis of NO and detected by the time resolved chemiluminescence in the presence of NO. In the 1H-NMR spectrum of polychloroprene dissolved in C6D6, the ?CH proton signal was separated into two triplet peaks. These triplet signals were assigned to the ?CH proton in the trans-1,4 and cis-1,4 isomers by measurement of 1H-NMR spectra of 3-chloro-1-butene and a mixture of trans- and cis-2-chloro-2-butene as model compounds for the 1,2, trans-1,4 and cis-1,4 isomers. In 1H-NMR spectra (220 Mcps) of polychloroprene dissolved in C6D6, two triplet signals were separated completely from which the relative concentrations of trans-1,4 and cis-1,4 isomers could be obtained quantitatively.  相似文献

The kinetics of the thermal decomposition of 2,3-dimethyl-3-pentyl acetate have been studied at a temperature range of 212–260°C and a pressure range of 30–300 mm Hg. The olefins produced are 2-ethyl-3-methyl-1-butene, 3,4-dimethyl-trans-2-pentene, 3,4-dimethyl-cis-2-pentene, and 2,3-dimethyl-2-pentene. The reaction is homogeneous, obeys first-order law, and the value of the rate constant is given by the Arrhenius equation The directions of elimination and their corresponding partial rates are best explained in terms of purely steric factors.  相似文献

2-Butene(2B) copolymerizes with 3-heptene(3H) and 4-methyl-2-pentene(4M2P) by a monomer-isomerization copolymerization mechanism in the presence of TiCl3–(C2H5)3Al catalyst at 80°C to yield the copolymers of 1-olefin units. By comparison, the copolymerization of 1-butene(1B) with 4-methyl-1-pentene(4M1P) was also carried out under similar conditions. The composition of the copolymers obtained from these copolymerizations was determined from the ratios of optical densities D723/D1380 and D1170/D1380 in their infrared (IR) spectra. The apparent monomer reactivity ratios for the monomer-isomerization copolymerization of 2B with 3H and 4M2P, in which the concentration of olefin monomer in the feed was used as 2-olefin, were determined as follows: cis-2B(M1)/3H(M2); r1 = 4.00, r2 = 0.20: trans-2B(M1)/3H; r1 = 3.50, r2 = 0.20; 4M2P(M1)-trans-2B(M2): r1 = 0.05, r2 = 9.0. These results indicate that the isomerization of 2-olefins to 1-olefins was important to monomer-isomerization copolymerization.  相似文献
