A set of new diastereopure unsymmetrical α-diimine ligands 2a-d derived from methylglyoxal and optically pure primary amines 1a-d afforded the new chiral Pd(II)-complexes (S,S)-3a, (S,S)-3b, (S,S)-3c, and (1S, 2S, 3S, 5R)-3d. All compounds have been characterized by IR, 1H, and 13C NMR spectroscopies along with MS-FAB+ spectrometry. The crystal and molecular structure for the complexes 3a, 3b and 3d have been fully confirmed by single-crystal X-ray studies. Likewise, complexes 3a-d have also been screened for their in vitro cytotoxicity against different classes of cancer: leukemia (K-562 CML), colon cancer (HCT-15), human breast adenocarcinoma (MCF-7), central nervous system (U-251 Glio) and prostate cancer (PC-3) cell lines.  相似文献

The development of an asymmetric gold-catalysed dihydroalkoxylation strategy for the synthesis of the 3′H-spiro[chroman-2,1′-isobenzofuran] spiroacetal ring system 5 is described. Spiroacetal was generated in up to 87:13 enantiomeric ratio using chiral gold–phosphine complexes and chiral silver phosphate Ag(S)-TRIP.  相似文献

Diphenylphosphinecyrhetrene ligand (η5-C5H4PPh2)Re(CO)3 (1) reacts with 1 equiv. of PdCl2(NCPh)2 to form, after workup, the square-planar trans-[(η5-C5H4PPh2)Re(CO)3]PdCl2(NCMe) (2). Similarly, reaction of 1 with (tetrahydrothiophene)AuCl produces, in excellent yield, the bimetallic complex [(η5-C5H4PPh2)Re(CO)3]AuCl (3) with a linear P–Au–Cl moiety. From the reaction of 2 equiv. of 1 with CuBr(SMe2) the planar-trigonal complex [(η5-C5H4PPh2)Re(CO)3]2CuBr (4) was obtained. 31P NMR and X-ray crystallography demonstrate, for the three cases, that (η5-C5H4PPh2)Re(CO)3 acts as a monodentate ligand. The structural parameters of the bimetallic complexes are compared with related diphenylphosphinoferrocene metal complexes, described in the literature.  相似文献

A new class of cholesterol‐based non‐symmetric dimers have been synthesized and characterized. They comprise O‐alkylated cinnamic acid and pro‐mesogenic cholesterol segments interlinked covalently through a methylene spacer varying in its length and parity. All the dimers and some of the key precursors have been studied for their phase behaviour. All the intermediates show mesomorphism. Importantly, the thermal properties of dimers are found to be critically dependent on the parity of the flexible spacer. The dimers with odd‐parity spacer display chiral nematic and/or twist grain boundary phases. In contrast, the dimers with even‐parity spacer are either crystalline or exhibit metastable chiral nematic and/or twist grain boundary phases with the exception of one compound for which two unknown mesophases have been observed. The odd–even effect was found to be indistinct for selective reflection wavelengths of the chiral nematic phase. For some dimers, a variation in the pitch of the chiral nematic phase as a function of temperature was observed. Cyclic voltammetry experiments revealed the electrochemical properties of a representative liquid crystal dimer.  相似文献

A series of oxovanadium(IV) complexes: TpVO(pzH)(2,4-Cl–C6H3–OCH2COO) (1), TpVO(pzH)(C6H5–OCH2COO) (2), TpVO(pzH)(p-Cl–C6H4–COO) (3), TpVO(pzH)(3,5-NO2–C6H3–COO) (4), Tp∗VO(pzH∗)(p-Cl–C6H4–COO) (5) and Tp∗VO(pzH∗)(p-Cl–C6H4–COO) · CH3OH (6) (Tp = hydrotris(pyrazolyl)borate, pzH = pyrazole, Tp∗ = hydrotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borate, pzH∗ = 3,5-dimethylpyrazole) were synthesized and their crystal structures were determined by X-ray diffraction. In all the complexes, the vanadium ions are in a distorted-octahedral environment with a N4O2 donor set. Hydrogen bonding interaction exists in each complex. Complexes 1 and 2 are hydrogen-bonded dimers. Dimeric units of 2 are connected to one another via weak inter-molecular C–H···O interactions to form a 2D network on the bc-face. In 36 there exist intramolecular N–H···O hydrogen bonds between the neutral pyrazole/3,5-dimethylpyrazole and the uncoordinated carboxyl oxygen atom. In addition, the catalytic activity of complex 2 in a bromination reaction in phosphate buffer with phenol red as a trap was evaluated by UV–Vis spectroscopy. Furthermore, the elemental analyses, IR spectra and thermal stabilities were recorded.  相似文献

Summary This work was a study of novel -basic, chiral stationary phases (CSPs) deriving from tyrosine and bearing two stereogenic centres. These CSPs differ in the nature of the amidic substituent (n-butyl ortert-butyl) and by the configuration of both the chiral centres (S or R). The enantioselectivity and elution order of various 3, 5-dinitrobenzoyl derivatives were studied using liquid and supercritical fluid chromatographic modes. The chromatographic data allowed determination of the influence of the CSP structure (also studied according to factorial designs) and determination of the influence of the solute structure. Chiral recognition mechanisms which are in good agreement with these observations are proposed. Finally, this paper reports the enantiomeric resolution of two compounds of pharmaceutical interest (warfarin and ICI 176334).  相似文献

Chloroquine base (CQ) reacts with [Ir(COD)Cl]2 and IrCl3 · 3H2O to yield of Ir(CQ)Cl(COD) (1) and Ir2Cl6(CQ) · 3H2O (2), respectively. Reaction of [Ir(COD)Cl]2 with CQ in the presence of NH4PF6 leaded to [Ir(CQ)(Solv)2]PF6 (3). The three new iridium–CQ complexes were characterized by a combination of elemental analysis, IR and NMR spectroscopies and evaluated in vitro against Plasmodium beghei. Comparison of the IC50 values obtained with the experimental compounds with that determined for chloroquine diphosphate indicated a higher activity for complex 2, while complexes 1 and 3 showed a similar and lower activity, respectively.  相似文献

Pd/Sibunit and Pd–M/Sibunit (M = Ga, Zn, or Ag) catalysts have been synthesized, and their catalytic properties in liquid-phase acetylene hydrogenation have been investigated. Doping of the palladium catalyst with a metal M leads to the formation of the Pd2Ga, PdZn, or Pd0.46Ag0.54 bimetallic compound. The bimetallic particles are much smaller (1.6–2.0 nm) than the monometallic palladium particles (4.0 nm). Doping with zinc raises the ethylene selectivity by 25% without affecting the activity of the catalyst. Specific features of the effect of each of the dopants on palladium are reported.  相似文献

Thermally cured cashew nut shell liquid based hybrid coatings have been successfully developed using three step processes of malenization, silane modification and subsequent hydrolysis and condensation with tetra ethyl orthosilicate for corrosion protection of mild steel. The synthesized precursor was then characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and 29Si-NMR) for structural elucidation. Four different coating formulations were developed on the basis of silane content (5, 10, 15 and 20 %) in the coating and cured with hexabutoxymethylmelamine at 120 °C for 1 h. The completely cured coatings were evaluated for mechanical properties, solvent resistance, chemical resistance, hydrolytic stability and accelerated weathering properties. Scanning electron microscope/energy dispersive spectroscopy was used to analyse the morphological behaviour and elemental distribution of the coating. Results revealed that 20 % silane modification showed better overall properties as compared to other formulations due to formation of more metal–oxygen–silicon covalent bond at metal-coating interface.  相似文献

Two new hybrid compounds, [Co(4,4′-bpy)2(H2O)4][(4,4′-bpyH2]2[CoW12O40]·8H2O (1) and [Fe(2,2′-bpy)3]3[H2W12O40]·6H2O (2), (4,4′-bpy = 4,4′-bipyridine, 2,2′-bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine) have been hydrothermally synthesized. These solids were characterized by elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, UV–Vis spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The hydrogen-bonding interactions in 1 lead to the formation of a three dimensional network consisting of [CoW12O40]6− anionic clusters, [Co(4,4′-bpy)2(H2O)4]2+ cations and lattice water molecules, while the discrete Keggin ion [H2W12O40]6− in compound 2 is surrounded by 14 [Fe(2,2′-bpy)3]2+ complexes through CH?O interactions (2.24–2.56 Å).  相似文献

The oxalato-bridged dicopper(II) complexes [Cu2(μ-ox)(LRR)2(H2O)2(ClO4)2] (1),[Cu2(μ-ox)(LRR)2(CH3COCH3)2(ClO4)2](1a),[Cu2(μ-ox)(LSS)2(H2O)2(ClO4)2] (2) and [Cu2(μ-ox)(LRR)(LSS)2(CH3COCH3)2(ClO4)2] (3) [LRR = (8R,10R)-(-)-[4,5]-pineno2,2′-bipyridine,LSS = (8S,10S)-(+)-[4,5]-pineno-2,2′-bipyridine;ox2= oxalate] were first prepared.A possible mechanism for the formation of the chial dicopper(II) complexes was proposed.Based on elemental analysis,conductance measurement,UV-Vis spectra,CD spectra and X-ray single-crystal diffraction,the oxalato-bridged structures of 1 and 2 were deduced to adopt two Cu(II) ions and the bridged oxalate lying in the nearly same plane.The crystal structures of 1a and 3 reveal that the coordination geometry around each Cu(II) ion is an elongated and distorted octahedron and two axial solvent molecules and two perchlorate ions are anti to each other respectively in both binuclear molecules.The solution CD spectra of 1 and 2 in the visible d-d range show very weak Cotton effects with peaks at 588 and 779 nm,which are approximately of mirror image,suggesting the optical activities may be derived from the vicinal effects of the chiragenic centers at the pinene group of LRR and LSS,respectively.Complex 1 has been characterized by variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility and the data was least-square fitted to the Blenaey-Bowers equation.The exchange integral J was found to be -338.41(4) cm-1,indicating a strong antiferromagnetic interaction between two copper(II) ions.  相似文献

Two new supramolecular metal–organic complexes have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Complex 1 exhibits a three-dimensional supramolecular network, constructed from [Co2(H3BPTC)2(phen)2] (H4BPTC = 3,3′4,4′-benzophenone tetracarboxylate acid, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) discrete units. Complex 2 similarly exhibits discrete [Cu2(DPA)2(bipy)2(H2O)2] (DPA = 1,1′-biphenyl-2,2′-dicarboxylate acid, bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine) units, which are linked to form a three-dimensional supramolecular network through π–π interactions. It is interesting that during the synthesis of complex 1, the H4BPTC ligands undergo partial decomposition to give 1,2,4-benzenetricarboxylate (H3BTC) ligands, which react with Co to form [Co3(BTC)2]n (3). Complex 3 shows a three-dimensional covalent network. The magnetic properties of complexes 1 and 2 have been studied.  相似文献

Mononuclear [M(hfacac)2(H2biim)] complexes, where M = MnII, FeII, CoII, NiII, CuII or ZnII, hfacac = hexafluoroacetylacetonate, H2biim = 2,2-biimidazole; dinuclear K2[M2(acac)4(-biim)] (M = CuII or ZnII) and tetranuclear K2[M4(acac)8( 4-biim)] (M = CoII or NiII) complexes have been prepared and characterized by chemical analysis, conductance measurements, i.r., electronic and e.p.r. spectroscopies and by magnetic susceptibility measurements (in the 2–300 K range). MnII, FeII and CoII are in a high spin state. The e.p.r. spectra of CuII and MnII compounds have been recorded.  相似文献

A new series of nickel(II) complexes derived from symmetrical diacetyl bisaroylhydrazones [Ni(L1-R)] and unsymmetric phenylglyoxal bisaroylhydrazones [Ni(L2-R)] have been prepared and characterized. X-ray crystal and molecular structures of [Ni(L1-H)], [Ni(L1-pCH3O)] and [Ni(L1-pNO2)] have been determined. In these complexes, the Ni(II) is in a distorted square planar environment and the aroylhydrazone acts as dinegative tetradentate ligand forming a 5,5,5-tricyclic chelate ring. Reaction of [Ni(L1-R)] with aqueous ammonia afforded the paramagnetic five coordinate [Ni(L1-R)(NH3)] while [Ni(L2-R)] gave the diamagnetic square planar [Ni(L2-R)(NH3)] complexes. Reaction of [Ni(L1-R)] complexes with imidazole gave the corresponding paramagnetic octahedral bis(imidazole) adducts. X-ray structures of both [Ni(L1-H)(HIm)2] and [Ni(L1-pNO2)(HIm)2] suggest a distorted octahedral structure where the bisaroylhydrazone occupies the basal plane while the two imidazoles occupy the axial sites. The molecular units are associated together forming triple stranded helical chains. With imidazole the [Ni(L2-R)] series gave the corresponding diamagnetic mono(imidazole) [Ni(L2-R)(HIm)] complexes, The X-ray structure of {Ni(L2-pCH3)(HIm)] suggest square planar arrangement around the Ni(II) where the bisaroylhydrazone acts as dinegative NNO tridentate ligand forming with the Ni(II) a 5,6-bicyclic chelate ring the fourth coordination site is occupied by imidazole nitrogen.  相似文献
