The sensitized anti-Stokes luminescence excited by radiation with wavelengths from 610 to 750 nm and flux densities of 1014–1015 quanta/(cm2·s) is detected for microcrystals of Zn 0.6 Cd 0.4 S solid solutions with adsorbed organic malachite green and methylene blue dye molecules. The position of its excitation spectra coincides with that of the absorption spectra of adsorbed dye molecules, which suggests the cooperative mechanism of its occurrence. The possibility of amplification of the anti-Stokes luminescence by means of adsorption of silver atoms and few-atomic silver clusters, in addition to the dye molecules, on the Zn 0.6 Cd 0.4 S surface is investigated. It is assumed that in the latter case, the anti-Stokes luminescence is excited as a result of two-quantum optical transitions with electron or electron excitation energy transfer from the dye molecules adsorbed on the Zn 0.6 Cd 0.4 S surface to silver atoms and few-atomic silver clusters creating deep local states with photoionization energies of 1.8–2.0 eV in the gap. __________ Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Fizika, No. 3, pp. 21–26, March, 2008.  相似文献

An anti-Stokes luminescence band with λmax = 515 nm of microcrystals of solid AgCl0.95I0.05 solutions excited by a radiation flux of density 1013–1015 quanta/cm2·sec in the range 600–800 nm at 77 K was detected. It is shown that the intensity of this luminescence and the frequency of its excitation depend on the prior UV-irradiation of samples. Analysis of the stimulated-photoluminescence spectra and the anti-Stokes luminescence excitation spectra of the indicated microcrystals has shown that to the centers of anti-Stokes luminescence excitation correspond local levels in the forbidden band of the crystals. Hierarchical calcium molybdate (CaMoO4) nanostructured microspheres were synthesized via a facile room-temperature route assisted by an ionic liquid, 1-n-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride. The product was characterized by means of X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). It was found that micro-scaled CaMoO4 powders were assembled by nanoparticles with diameters ranging from 10 to 20 nm. The optical absorbance, photoluminescence emission (PL), and luminescence excitation (PLE) were investigated. The PL spectra excited at 273 nm have a strong green emission band maximum at 511 nm, which is attributed to the charge-transfer transitions within the MoO42− complex, and the luminescence intensity indicated a good luminescence quality of the CaMoO4 materials. By varying the amount of this assisted agent, we found that the ionic liquid played a crucial role as a surfactant in the formation of CaMoO4 materials with uniform hierarchical structure, which may be beneficial to the luminescence performance. This study presented a promising preparation strategy towards other luminescent materials.  相似文献

Soft X-ray (XUV) excitation did make it possible to avoid the predominant role of the surface effects in luminescence of NiO and revealed a bulk luminescence with a puzzling well isolated doublet of very narrow lines with close energies near 3.3 eV which is assigned to recombination transitions in self-trapped d-d charge transfer (CT) excitons formed by coupled Jahn-Teller Ni+ and Ni3+ centers. The conclusion is supported both by a comparative analysis of the CT luminescence spectra for NiO and solid solutions Ni x Zn1 − x O, and by a comprehensive cluster model assignment of different p-d and d-d CT transitions, their relaxation channels. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first observation of the luminescence due to self-trapped d-d CT excitons.  相似文献

It is reported that similar cathodoluminescence spectra are excited by an electron beam striking BaTiO3, SrTiO3 and TiO2 ceramics at room temperature. The energy location of the luminescence bands does not depend on various doping or reduction treatments. The luminescence intensity increases with the electron beam current as well as with the conduction electron density. The luminescence is interpreted as a fundamental transition of local character in the TiO6 octahedron; the conduction electrons localized at the Ti sites in polaron states recombine with the 0–2p valence electron defects. The shape and energy location of the luminescence spectra are qualitatively in accordance with an explanation in terms of a configuration coordinate model.  相似文献

Comprehensive investigations of luminescence, excitation, and absorption spectra as well as of the luminescence kinetics of a frozen LiCl-Tl+ solution are carried out. It is established that the luminescence spectrum consists of four components. One component is caused by luminescence of the matrix and the remainder by luminescence of one luminescence center, namely, by the saturated complex of thallium TlCl2(H2O)Cl4. The absorption spectrum consists of three components. Their parameters have been evaluated. Each component of the luminescence spectrum is excited in several components of the absorption spectrum. It is found that the luminescence spectrum components and their intrinsic absorption bands are located differently on the frequency axis. Synthesis and luminescence properties of Li3NbO4 oxides by the sol-gel process were investigated. The products were characterized by the X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy and absorption spectra. The PL spectra excited at 247 nm have a broad and strong blue emission band maximum at 376 nm, corresponding to the self-activated luminescence of the niobate octahedra group [NbO6]7−. The optical absorption spectra of the samples sintered at temperatures of 600 and 700 °C exhibited the band-gap energies of 4.0 and 4.08 eV.  相似文献

The reflection and luminescence excitation spectra of CaF2 crystals containing europium ions in divalent (Eu2+) and trivalent (Eu3+) states were measured in the range from 4 to 16 eV. It was established that, in CaF2 : Eu3+ crystals, luminescence of Eu3+ ions (the f-f transitions) is effectively excited both in the charge-transfer band (at ~8 eV) and in the region of the 4f–5d transitions (at ~10 eV) but is virtually not excited in the fundamental region of the crystal (at an energy higher than 10.5 eV). Luminescence of Eu2+ ions (the 427-nm band) in CaF2 : Eu3+ is effectively excited in the fundamental region of the crystal; i.e., luminescence of divalent europium ions occurs through the trapping mechanism. Emission of Eu2+ ions in CaF2 : Eu2+ crystals is characterized by the excitation band at an energy of 5.6 eV (the 4f → 5d,t 2g transitions), as well as by the exciton and interband luminescence excitations. The results obtained and data available in the literature are used to construct the energy level diagram with the basic electron transitions in the CaF2 : Eu crystals.  相似文献

Luminescence spectra of ivory zirconia (Zr02) excited by an argon-ion laser (19,436–21,839 cm?1) reveal a complex pattern consisting of both sharp and diffuse peaks in the 16,000–19,000 cm?1 region. The intensity behavior of these features depends markedly on the excitation frequency. The sharp luminescence peaks of the 18,140–18,600 cm?1 region are attributed to phonon-mediated de-excitation of excited states of the impuriity-doped ZrO2 lattice. The more diffuse luminescence bands of the 17,700–18,000cm?1 region may be associated with the electron traps observed in glow experiments and/or with higher-order phonon processes.  相似文献

Er 3+-doped TiO 2-SiO 2 powders are prepared by the sol-gel method,and they are characterized by high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM),X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectra,and Raman spectra of the samples.It is shown that the TiO 2 nanocrystals are surrounded by an SiO 2 glass matrix.The photoluminescence (PL) spectra are recorded at room temperature.A strong green luminescence and less intense red emission are observed in the samples when they are excited at 325 nm.The intensity of the emission,which is related to the defect states,is strongest at the annealing temperature of 800 C.The PL intensity of Er 3+ ions increases with increasing Ti/Si ratio due to energy transfer between nano-TiO 2 particles and Er 3+ ions.  相似文献

The luminescence spectra of a KZnF3: Tl+ crystal are investigated in the energy range from 4.75 to 5.9 eV at temperatures of 10–300 K upon excitation into the A absorption band (5.7–6.3 eV). At T=300 K, the luminescence spectra exhibit an intense band with a maximum at 5.45 eV, which is attributed to single Tl+ ions substituted for K+ ions. The 5.723-eV intense narrow band observed at T<20 K is assigned to the 3Γ1u-1Γ1g zero-phonon transition, which is weakly allowed by the hyperfine interaction. The luminescence decay is studied as a function of temperature. The main characteristics of the luminescence spectra are adequately described in terms of the semiclassical theory based on the Franck-Condon principle and the Jahn-Teller effect for an excited sp configuration of the Tl+ ion with the use of the parameters obtained earlier from analyzing the absorption spectra of the system under investigation.  相似文献

We have measured the electron energy loss spectra of Ca2V2O7 in the reflexion mode, at incident energies between 200 and 2400 eV, and the X-ray photoelectron spectra excited by Al K α radiation. The abundant loss structures observed can be correlated with the possible interband transitions, collective oscillations, and excitation of O2s and V3p electrons within the V2O74- ion. The gap width and molecular orbital (MO) spread (or splitting) is about l eV larger in the V2O74- ion than in its component VO43- ion. Excitation of O2s states, which may occur together with some MO over-gap transitions, displaces the collective oscillations about 7 eV towards lower energies. Deeper V3p electrons are excited with a maximum energy loss some 7 eV above their binding energy. Cross transitions from Ca3p levels into some empty states of the V2O74- ion, or direct transitions to available states of the Ca2+ ion could not be unambiguously identified. The energy dependence of the excitation cross section and of the electron penetration depth results in a significant variation of the relative intensity of various losses over the investigated energy range.  相似文献

For microcrystals of Zn0.6Cd0.4S with adsorbed molecules of a number of organic dyes, we have observed sensitized anti-Stokes luminescence excited by radiation with wavelengths in the range 610–750 nm and flux density 1014–1015 photons/cm2·sec. The positions of the bands in the excitation spectra for such luminescence match those of the absorption spectra for the adsorbed dye molecules, which is evidence in favor of a cooperative mechanism for its appearance. We have shown that enhancement of the anti-Stokes luminescence is possible when silver atoms and few-atom clusters appear on the Zn0.6Cd0.4S surface in addition to the dye molecules. We hypothesize that its excitation in the latter case occurs as a result of two-photon optical transitions. ABSTRACT

According to the spectra of stationary X-ray excited luminescence (XEL) of BaF2: Eu nanophosphors at 80 and 294 K, it was revealed that the thermal annealing of fine-grained nanoparticles (d?=?35?nm) in the range of 400–1000°C, which is accompanied by an increase of their sizes in the range of 58–120?nm, does not result in effective changes of the charge state of Eu3 + → Eu2 + activator, in contrast to CaF2: Eu nanoparticles. The maximum light output of X-ray excited luminescence of BaF2: Eu nanophosphors in the 590?nm emission band of Eu3+ ion was observed at an annealing temperature of 600°C with the average size of nanoparticles 67?nm. The subsequent growth of annealing temperatures, especially in the range of 800–1000°C, causes decrease in the light output of X-ray excited luminescence due to the increase of defect concentration in the lattice as a result of sharp increase of nanoparticle sizes and their agglomeration. In BaF2: Eu nanoparticles of 58?nm size, according to the thermostimulated luminescence (TSL) spectrum, transformation of Eu3+ → Eu2+ under the influence of long-time X-ray irradiation was revealed for the peak of 151?K. Thus, X-ray excited luminescence spectra of BaF2: Eu nanophosphors are formed predominantly due to the emission of Eu3+ ions, while emission of Eu2+ ions is observed in the TSL spectra.  相似文献

通过拉曼散射光谱,吸收光谱,荧光发射寿命和808 nm LD激发下的红外荧光光谱的实验测量,系统研究了Nd3+:SrMoO4晶体的自受激拉曼光谱性质.分析指认了拉曼散射光谱中各拉曼峰所对应的晶格振动模式,得出了其SRS活性最强的声子频率约为898 cm-1,对应于(MoO2-4)离子团的完全对称光学伸缩振动Ag模;通过J-O理论对晶体的吸收谱进行了全面的光谱参数计算,得出4F3/24I11/2跃迁的积分发射截面达0.57×10-18 cm2,自发辐射概率为141.06 s-1;同时,实验测得该跃迁的荧光发射寿命约为0.2 ms.最后,结合808 nm LD激发下的红外波段荧光光谱,论证了SrMoO4晶体中Nd3+离子1068 nm发射通过拉曼频移获得1180 nm一级斯托克斯激光发射的可能性,为Nd3+:SrMoO4晶体的自受激拉曼激光器研究提供了理论依据. 关键词: 3+离子')" href="#">d3+离子 4 晶体')" href="#">SrMoO4 晶体 自受激拉曼散射  相似文献

Energy-resolved optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) spectra and thermoluminescence (TL) glow curves of a powder sample of YPO4:Ce3+,Sm3+ were measured to investigate the nature of the trapping centre and to locate its energy level relative to the valence and conduction bands of the YPO4 host. The high-temperature glow peak could unequivocally be assigned to Sm2+ (thus Sm3+ acts as an electron trap). The trap depth of this centre, as derived from the OSL excitation spectra, is in good agreement with the Dorenbos model prediction. The OSL excitation spectra also reveal excited states of Sm2+ well below the conduction band. These excited states produce a broadening of the high-temperature TL glow peak and also cause the activation energy determined by the Hoogenstraten method to underestimate the trap depth.  相似文献

通过透射光谱、光产额(LY)和光致发光等发光性能测试,研究了F,Y双掺钨酸铅(PbWO4 ,简称PWO)晶体的发光性能,并利用热释光曲线和正电子湮没寿命谱对F,Y双掺PWO晶 体中的缺陷种类和变化进行了分析. 结果表明:与未掺杂晶体相比,双掺样品在350nm附近 的透过率大大提高,吸收边向短波方向移动约30nm,光致发光谱中出现位于350nm的发光峰 ,双掺样品的LY(100ns内)为未掺杂PWO的2.7倍左右.晶体中主要存在的缺陷为(WO3)-关键词: F Y双掺钨酸铅闪烁晶体 高光产额 热释光 正电子湮没寿命谱  相似文献

Abstract

Single crystal samples of Ce3+-doped fluorides CaNaYF6 and BaMgF4 have been grown in a reducing atmosphere, with the intent of studying the effects of symmetry and ligand coordination on the dopant energy levels. The optical absorption spectra of Ce3+ in these crystals consist, at most, of five overlapping bands. The luminescence is also a broad band due to strong electron—phonon interaction in the 5d excited state. The energies of the lowest absorption band and the luminescence band are shifted to low energy compared to those in LiCaAlF6 and LiYF4. This trend may be explained by lowering symmetry of the anion-coordinate polyhedra of Ce3+ in these crystals.  相似文献

A Fourier transform electron paramagnetic resonance (FT-EPR) study was made of the photochemistry of 3,4-methylenedioxyphenol (sesamol, SEOH)) in aqueous solution. FT-EPR measurements show that in alkaline (pH 11) solution, pulsed-laser excitation of SECT leads to photoionization giving the hydrated electron and SEO free radical. Resonance signals from these paramagnetic species develop with instrument-controlled rise time. They exhibit a low-field emission/ high-field absorption (E/A) CIDEP pattern with the transition from emission to absorption occurring at the resonance of the hydrated electron. It is shown that the spin polarization stems from contributions from the ST0 radical pair mechanism (E/A) and triplet mechanism (A). From this it is concluded that photoionization of sesamol occurs via the triplet excited state. In neutral and acidic (pH 4–7) aqueous solution, photoexcitation generates SEO and cyclohexadienyl-type radicals. In this case, radicals grow in over a period of 1–2 μs and FT-EPR spectra display an E/A pattern with the inversion point in the center. The lowering of the pH of the solution apparently is accompanied by a strong reduction in the relative importance of photoionization. From the FT-EPR data it can be deduced that in neutral and acidic solutions the dominant reaction channel is H-atom transfer. In this respect, the photochemistry of sesamol differs from that of phenol andp-cresol. For these phenols the change in pH does not affect the appearance of the FT-EPR spectra. Apparently, the change in electronic structure caused by the methylenedioxy substituent strongly affects the excited state reactivity of sesamol.  相似文献
