For every semi-simple Lie algebra g one can construct the Drinfeld-Jimbo algebra . This algebra is a deformation Hopf algebra defined by generators and relations. To study the representation theory of , Drinfeld used the KZ-equations to construct a quasi-Hopf algebra Ag. He proved that particular categories of modules over the algebras and Ag are tensor equivalent. Analogous constructions of the algebras and Ag exist in the case when g is a Lie superalgebra of type A-G. However, Drinfeld's proof of the above equivalence of categories does not generalize to Lie superalgebras. In this paper, we will discuss an alternate proof for Lie superalgebras of type A-G. Our proof utilizes the Etingof-Kazhdan quantization of Lie (super)bialgebras. It should be mentioned that the above equivalence is very useful. For example, it has been used in knot theory to relate quantum group invariants and the Kontsevich integral.  相似文献

The use of low-order elements for approximating fluid flow is attractive because all the elemental contributions can be quickly and easily obtained. One of the drawbacks is that low-order elements often give rise to spurious pressure modes or incompatible velocity and pressure approximations. In this paper linear velocity and linear pressure elements are described for both two- and three-dimensional flow that always produce stable solutions provided the elements are assembled into simple macroelements following easily used rules. In this paper we present a new heuristic solution method for two-dimensional nesting problems. It is based on a simple local search scheme in which the neighborhood is any horizontal or vertical translation of a given polygon from its current position. The Hamiltonian representation for a hierarchy of Lax type equations on a dual space to the Lie algebra of integro-differential operators with matrix coefficients, extended by evolutions for eigenfunctions and adjoint eigenfunctions of the corresponding spectral problems, is obtained via some special Bäcklund transformation. Burnside asked questions about periodic groups in his influential paper of 1902. The study of groups with exponent six is a special case of the study of the Burnside questions on which there has been significant progress. It has contributed a number of worthwhile aspects to the theory of groups and in particular to computation related to groups. Finitely generated groups with exponent six are finite. We investigate the nature of relations required to provide proofs of finiteness for some groups with exponent six. We give upper and lower bounds for the number of sixth powers needed to define the largest 2-generator group with exponent six. We solve related questions about other groups with exponent six using substantial computations which we explain.  相似文献

To obtain the representation (L, R) of Lie algebras over the ring Λ, we construct the lattice of subrepresentations ℒ(L, R). Relations between the algebras L and R and the lattice ℒ(L, R) are studied. For a broad class of Fréchet-Lie supergroups $ \mathcal{G} $ , we prove that there exists a correspondence between positive definite smooth (resp., analytic) superfunctions on $ \mathcal{G} $ and matrix coefficients of smooth (resp., analytic) unitary representations of the Harish-Chandra pair (G, $ \mathfrak{g} $ ) associated to $ \mathcal{G} $ . As an application, we prove that a smooth positive definite superfunction on $ \mathcal{G} $ is analytic if and only if it restricts to an analytic function on the underlying manifold of $ \mathcal{G} $ . When the underlying manifold of $ \mathcal{G} $ is 1-connected we obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for a linear functional on the universal enveloping algebra U( $ {{\mathfrak{g}}_{\mathbb{C}}} $ ) to correspond to a matrix coefficient of a unitary representation of (G, $ \mathfrak{g} $ ). The class of Lie supergroups for which the aforementioned results hold is characterised by a condition on the convergence of the Trotter product formula. This condition is strictly weaker than assuming that the underlying Lie group of $ \mathcal{G} $ is a locally exponential Fréchet-Lie group. In particular, our results apply to examples of interest in representation theory such as mapping supergroups and diffeomorphism supergroups.  相似文献

We construct a class of new Lie algebras by generalizing the one-variable Lie algebras generated by the quadratic conformal algebras (or corresponding Hamiltonian operators) associated with Poisson algebras and a quasi-derivation found by Xu. These algebras can be viewed as certain twists of Xu’s generalized Hamiltonian Lie algebras. The simplicity of these algebras is completely determined. Moreover, we construct a family of multiplicity-free representations of these Lie algebras and prove their irreducibility.  相似文献

The Lie-group formalism is applied to investigate the symmetries of the modified Boussinesq system with variable coefficients. We derived the infinitesimals and the admissible forms of the coefficients that admit the classical symmetry group. The reduced systems of ordinary differential equations deduced from the optimal system of subalgebras are further studied and some exact solutions are obtained.  相似文献
