In this work we present a theoretical study on electrons scattering by CH4 in the intermediate energy range. More specifically, we report integral and differential cross sections for electron scattering by CH4 in the (10 - 300) eV range by the Schwinger multichannel method using plane waves as a trial basis set (SMC-PW). To include exchange effects we have used the Born-Ochkur model. Our aim is to study the numerical stability of the cross sections and our calculated results compared with experimental data and theoretical studies are encouraging. 相似文献

理论和实验结果都表明17F的第一激发态有质子晕存在.用相对论平均场理论和Eikonal近似研究了质子晕核17F的第一激发态的电子弹性散射过程. 计算了17F的第一激发态的电荷形状因子,并与16O和19F的结果进行了对比和讨论.结果显示质子晕的存在会使中等转移动量的电荷形状因子产生明显的变化,并且使低转移动量的电荷形状因子趋于降低.这说明电子散射对质子晕的存在是非常敏感的,表明可以用电子散射对奇特核的质子晕结构进行更精细的研究. 相似文献

Argon clusters subjected to intense femtosecond laser pulses are ionized by the optical fields and inelastic electron-ion collisions. The cluster plasmas absorb the laser energy through collisional inverse bremsstrahlung, leading the argon cluster plasmas to very hot states. The calculated electron temperature in the clusters indicates that the intense laser-cluster interactions are more energetic than interactions with molecules. 相似文献

Relativistic mean-field theory and phase-shift analysis are combined together to investigate the elastic Coulomb scattering between electrons and unstable nuclei. Electron scattering at several different energies is studied and compared, in order to see the energy dependence of electron-nucleus scattering. It is shown that electron scattering at 200 MeV or 300 MeV can be used to reveal electron-nucleus scattering information around the first diffraction minimum. Shifts in opposite directions are obtained for the first diffraction minima of the electron scattering off the ground and first excited states of ^17F with ^16O as reference, and similar effects are obtained for ^18Ne. Besides, some neutron-rich N = 8 isotones are also studied. Results show that electron scattering will be very useful and important in studying both proton- and neutron-rich nuclei in the future. 相似文献

We investigate the cross sections of the elastic electron or positron scat tering from 208 Pb, ^12C ^12,16O and ^28,32S by the relativistic partial-wave expansion method using the static charge density distribution from the self-consistent relativistic mean fiel model and also calculate the charge form factor for ^12'16O and ^28,32S. The numerical results are compared with the available data. Calculations indicate that the extended charge density distributions of ^12O and ^28S have observable effects on the cross sections of the electron or positron scattering as well as the charge form factors. 相似文献
