Four 3-D coordination polymers of lanthanide with a tetra(amino acid) ligand, 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane-1,4,8,11-tetrapropionic acid (H4L, 1), were synthesized. The structure of the Gd(III) complex was characterized. The fluorescence of the Eu(III) complex can be modulated by Ag+.  相似文献

We report the synthesis and crystal structures of two transition metal-based coordination polymers comprising ligand molecules not included in the original reaction mixtures but instead formed in situ during hydrothermal treatment. Zinc meso-iminodisuccinate hydrate (I), Zn(2)(C(8)H(7)NO(8)).0.57H(2)O, formed from zinc acetate and L-aspartic acid, and tetraaquanickel(II) 5,10-dioxo-5,10-dihydro-4,9-dioxa-pyrene-2,7-dicarboxylate (II), Ni(H(2)O)(4)(C(16)H(4)O(8)), formed from nickel acetate and 5-hydroxyisophthalic acid. We show that the formation of I takes place via a fumaric acid intermediate, while the formation of II requires the formation of a new C-C bond. The structure of I consists of weakly interacting sheets, while the structure of II consists of strongly hydrogen-bonded chains. Crystal data: for I, P2(1)/n (14), a = 10.073 A, b = 9.894 A, c = 12.053 A, beta = 105.605 degrees, V = 1156.87(13) A(3), Z = 4; for II, P1 (2), a = 5.011 A, b = 6.526 A, c = 12.305 A, alpha = 76.868 degrees, beta = 84.988 degrees, gamma = 87.619 degrees, V = 390.3(4) A(3), Z = 1.  相似文献

The novel tetraphenylethylene(TPE)-based sensor 1 bearing bis(2-pyridin-2-ylmethyl)amine (BPA) units linked with triazole moieties could be obtained by click reaction efficiently. The results show that 1 can demonstrate a Ag+-specific emission shift and highly sensitive fluorescent enhancement with a 1:2 binding ratio based on the aggregation-induced emission mechanism. Compound 1 is shown to behave as a ratiometric sensor.  相似文献

A new quinoline-based chemosensor 1 has been designed and synthesised. Its metal ion-binding properties have been documented in organic and aqueous organic solvents. While chemosensor 1 recognises Hg2+ ions (K a = 2.15 × 104 M? 1) by exhibiting ratiometric change in emission in CHCl3/CH3OH (1:1, v/v), under similar condition both Zn2+ and Cd2+ ions are sensed by significant non-ratiometric increase in emission with measurable red shift. In DMSO/H2O (5:95, v/v), the sensor 1 exhibits a greater selectivity towards Hg2+ ions (K a = 9.20 × 103 M? 1) over the other metal ions examined.  相似文献

A ratiometric fluorescence probe for selective visual sensing of Zn2+   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A simple ratiometric fluorescence probe based on vinylpyrrole end-capped bipyridine for the visual sensing of Zn2+ under aqueous physiological pH (6.8-7.4) is described. The fluorophores 3a-c showed strong emission around 537 nm in acetonitrile with a quantum yield of 0.4. In buffered (HEPES, pH 7.2) acetonitrile-water mixture (9:1 v/v), titration of transition metal salts to 3c showed strong quenching of the emission at 547 nm except in the case of Zn2+, which resulted in a red-shifted emission at 637 nm. Alkali and alkaline earth metal salts could not induce any considerable changes to the emission behavior of 3a-c. The binding of Zn2+ was highly selective in the presence of a variety of other metal ions. Though Cu2+ quenches the emission of 3c, in the presence of Zn2+, a red emission prevails, indicating the preference of 3c toward Zn2+. Job plot and Benesi-Hildebrand analysis revealed a 1:1 complexation between the probe and the metal ion. The selective visual sensing of Zn2+ with a red emission is ideally suited for the imaging of biological specimens.  相似文献

Modulation of the photoluminescence of poly-[2,7-(fluorene)-1,4-(phenylene)] can be attained by reversible electrochemical modification of the conjugated chain (p- or n-doping). Controlled injection of charge quenches the fluorescent emission of the conjugated polymer. The injection of holes completely eliminates the emission, while the electrons only quench up to one-third of the initial fluorescence of the polymer. Analogous quenching effects have been previously reported for solid-state organoelectronic devices. Electrochemical Stern-Volmer plots permit the estimation of the relative mobility of charge carriers in the polymer layer. The mobility of holes is 1 order of magnitude higher that the mobility of electrons, as determined by this method.  相似文献

A new anthracene-based ligand shows emission shift and decrease of excimer band upon coordination to silver ions when crystallized from methanol. Changing the solvent leads to the formation of amorphous nanowires exhibiting large emission bands before transforming into a second crystalline compound with excimer emission similar in intensity to the ligand alone.  相似文献

Under hydrothermal conditions, four lanthanide coordination polymers were synthesized based on 4-(4,5-dicarboxy-1H-imidazol-2-yl)pyridine 1-oxide (H3DCImPyO), with the molecular forumulas [Eu(HDCImPyO)·(H2O)2·(CHO2)]n (1), [Sm(HDCImPyO)·(H2O)2·(HCO2)]n (2), {[La(HDCImPyO)·(H2O)·(HCO2)]·O2}n (3) and {[Y(HDCImPyO)·(C2O4)·(H2O)2]·H2O}n (4). With diverse coordination modes, they were further characterized by elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, dielectric measurement, and single-crystal X-ray structural analysis. Complexes 1 and 2 were isostructural and had similar structures with {44, 62} topology. Complex 1 exhibited strong fluorescent emission in the solid state at room temperature. In 3, HDCImPyO2? adopted μ4-kO, O′: kO′, O′′: O′′′: O′′′′ coordination to bridge four La(III) ions to form a 3-D framework with {4. 52}2{42. 510. 612. 7. 83} topology. In 4, both HDCImPyO2? ligands and Y3+ cations were simplified as linkers to form an interpenetrating 3-D framework with {413. 62}2{422. 66} topology.  相似文献

A novel gold nanoparticle (AuNP)-based optical sensing system has been developed for the detection of myoglobin (Mb), which is of significant importance for early disease diagnosis. Two thiol molecules containing an iminodiacetic acid moiety (IDA) were synthesized. This detection is based on the Mb-induced aggregation of IDA-functionalized AuNPs resulting from the structures of Mb sandwiched between the functionalized AuNPs via Cu(2+) bridges in the coordination interactions of IDA-Cu(2+)-histidine residues available on the Mb surface, which was confirmed by UV-vis spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering, and matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry. The induction aggregation resulted in a red shift in plasmon resonance band of the AuNPs concomitant with a change in solution color from red to purple. The qualitative and quantitative detections of Mb can be achieved by colorimetric observations and UV-vis spectral measurements, respectively. The selectivity of protein assay with the functionalized AuNPs was further investigated, and it is found that the optical sensing of histidine-rich proteins is closely related to number and distribution of surface histidine residues as well as size of proteins.  相似文献

Fluorenyl ester-armed cyclen gave fluorenone and related decomposition compounds upon photoirradiation. The reaction was effectively suppressed by the formation of an octacoordinated Ca2+ complex while Na+ and other alkali/alkaline earth metal cations had little influence. Since the production efficiency of fluorescent fluorenone related well to the concentration of the Ca2+ ion, the photoreaction of this armed cyclen offered the naked-eye detection of Ca2+ ion in aqueous samples.  相似文献

A dual-signal sensing system based on the inner-filter effect (IFE) was demonstrated, in which the combination of two signaling mechanisms allows metal binding to turn on two fluorescence emission bands, independently. A proof-of-concept fluorescent ratiometric assay for Al(3+) in pure aqueous solution is presented. The proposed assay is based on the Al(3+)-induced color and fluorescence changes of Alizarin red S (ARS) and IFE between ARS and meso-tetra(N-methyl-4-pyridyl)porphine tetratosylate salt (TMPyP). In the absence of Al(3+), the absorption spectrum of the ARS in 0.2 M HAc-NaAc buffer (pH 5.5) has a strong peak at 420 nm, significantly overlapping with the excitation of TMPyP. ARS is expected to be capable of functioning as a powerful absorber to tune the emission of TMPyP on account of the spectral overlap. Binding of Al(3+) with ARS forms a fluorometric ARS/Al(3+) complex and shifts the maximum absorbance from 420 nm to 480 nm, which overlaps negligibly with the excitation of TMPyP and turns on the proper emission spectrum for TMPyP. Under the optimum conditions, The fluorescence intensity ratio, F(585)/F(651), responds to Al(3+) over a dynamic range of 0.1-1.5 μM, with a limit of detection of 40 nM, where F(585) and F(651) are the fluorescence intensity at 585 nm and 651 nm in the absence or presence of Al(3+), respectively. Further application in Al(3+)-spiked water samples suggested a recovery between 95 and 108%. The fluorescence response is highly selective for Al(3+) over other metal ions with the addition of thiourea as the masking agent.  相似文献

A 2D coordination polymer [Zn2(betc)(bip)2]·3H2O (1) has been synthesised by deploying mixed ligand strategy . The photoluminescence properties of 1 in different solvents have been investigated and its sensing properties to detect nitroaromatic compounds (NACs) have been explored. 1 displayed selective sensing for 4- nitrotoluene (4-NT) with lower limit of detection (LOD) 0.62 ppm. The probable mechanism for sensing of NACs by 1 ha s been addressed using quantum chemical calculations. Also photocatalytic properties of 1 to photo-decompose model aromatic dyes viz. methyl violet (MV) and 20 rhodamine B (Rh B) have been evaluated. The experiments indicated that 1 displayed better photocatalytic performance in photo-degrading MV than Rh B. The plausible mechanism through which 1 displayed photocatalytic degradation of aromatic dyes had been revealed using density of states (DOS) and partial DOS calculations.

The probable mechanism for the photocatalytic property and emission quenching of 1 has been proposed with the aid of density of states and partial density of states calculations.  相似文献
