We apply HQET to semi-leptonicB andB s meson decays into the observed charmedp wave states. In order to examine the sensitivity of the results to the choice of a specific model, we perform all calculations using several different meson models, and find that uncertainty introduced by the choice of a particular model is about 30%. Specifically, assumingτ B=1.50ps andV cb=0.040, we obtain branching ratios of (0.27±0.08)% and (0.45±0.14)% for $B \to D_1 l\bar \upsilon _1 $ and $B \to D_2^* l\bar \upsilon _1 $ decays, respectively. 相似文献

We study the weak vector and axial-vector form factors of first- and second-class currents for the semileptonic octet baryon
decays in the spirit of the chiral quark model. Our results for the weak magnetism form factors are consistent with the conserved
vector current (CVC) results. The induced pseudotensor form factors, which are highly model dependent, are small. The overall
performance of the chiral quark model is quite good and in general agreement with existing experimental data.

Weak electric and magnetic form factors for semileptonic baryon decays in a relativistic quark model
Weak electric and magnetic form factors for semileptonic baryon decays are calculated in a relativistic quark model based
on the Dirac equation with the independent-quark confining potential of the formV
q(r)=1/2(1+γ
0)(a
2
r+V
0). The values obtained for (g
2/g
1) are not very much different from the nonrelativistic results of Donoghue and Holstein. The values of (g
1/f
1) extracted from our model calculations of (f
2/f
1) in the Cabibbo limit compare well with the experimental values. The values of (f
2/f
1) for various semileptonic transitions are also estimated incorporating phenomenologically the effect of nonzerog
2 in the ratio (g
1/f
1). It is found that the SU(3)-symmetry breaking does not generate significant departures in (f
2/f
1) values from the corresponding Cabibbo predictions. 相似文献

Motivated by the recent lattice QCD results indicating that the topological charge contribution to the flavor singlet axial vector current can be traded off by the constituent quark masses, we investigate the radiative decays of pseudoscalar (π,K, η, η′), vector (ρ,K*, ω, ?) and axial vector (A 1) mesons using a simple relativistic constituent quark model. For both simplicity and relativity, we take advantage of the distinguished features in the light-cone quantization method: (1) the Fock-state expansion of meson wavefunctions are not contaminated by the vacuum fluctuation, (2) the assignment of meson quantum numbers are given by the Melosh transformation. Except the well-known constituent quark masses of (u,d,s) quarks and the spin-averaged meson masses, the only parameter in the model is the gaussian parameter β which determines the broadness (or sharpness) of radial wavefunction. The computed decay widths and the transition form factors of ρ, ω → π(η)γ*,K* →Kγ* andA 1 → πγ* at 0≤Q 2≤5 GeV2 and π0(η) → γ*γ at 0≤Q 2≤3 GeV2 are in a remarkably good agreement with the experimental data and the result forA 1 + → π+ γ* transition is quite consistent with the experiments of pion scattering on a nucleus using Primakoff effect. This model is potentially useful in the cocktail analyses of the dilepton productions in proton-proton, proton-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus collisions at SPS energies and a little above. 相似文献

Within the standard model, we investigate the semi-leptonic weak decays of J/ψ. The various form factors of J/ψ making the
transition to a single charmed meson (D(*)
(d,s)) are studied in the framework of QCD sum rules. These form factors fully determine the rates of the weak semi-leptonic decays
of J/ψ and provide valuable information on non-perturbative QCD effects. Our results indicate that the decay rate of the semi-leptonic
weak decay mode J/ψ→D(*)-
s+e++νe is at the order of 10-10.

We extract the B, D, and meson wave functions from the CLEO data of the decays and in the perturbative QCD framework. In this formalism, various logarithmic corrections are organized to give the Wilson evolution
from the W boson mass down to the characteristic scale of a decay process, which is of order of the b quark mass, and the Sudakov evolution from the characteristic scale to a lower factorization scale of order . With large logarithms organized, the b quark decay amplitudes are evaluated reliably in perturbation theory. Below the factorization scale, QCD dynamics is regarded
as being nonperturbative, and absorbed into meson wave functions. Because of their universality, the heavy-meson wave functions
determined in this work, can be employed to make predictions of other decay modes. We also observe that the dependence of
heavy meson wave functions on intrinsic parton transverse momenta plays an important role in the explanation of data.

Using 14 x 10(6) psi(2S) events accumulated at the BESII detector, we report first measurements of branching fractions or upper limits for psi(2S) decays into gammapp, gamma2(pi+pi-), gammaKS0K+pi-+c.c., gammaK+K-pi+pi-, gammaK*0K-pi++c.c., gammaK*0K*0, gammapi+pi-pp, gamma2(K+K-), gamma3(pi+pi-), and gamma2(pi+pi-)K+K- with the invariant mass of hadrons below 2.9 GeV/c2. We also report branching fractions of psi(2S) decays into 2(pi+pi-)pi0, omegapi+pi-, omegaf2(1270), b1+/-pi-/+, and pi02(pi+pi-)K+K-. 相似文献

The first non-leading QCD corrections to the coulombic wave function of an S-state in quarkonium have been computed. The result is presented for general principal quantum number n of the decaying state. The corrections increase with n; in most cases, they dominate by far the decay corrections in the simplest example, the leptonic decay of quarkonium. 相似文献

Bound state poles of the form factors in eikonal approximation and infinite component wave equations
We investigate the form factor in eikonal approximation for the whole region of momentum transfer t in electrodynamics and in φ3 theory, and determine the poles in the time-like region below the threshold. A covariant mass formula is obtained similar to the one derived from four point functions in eikonal approximation. The mass formula does not become imaginary for large values of the coupling constant. The relation to positronium Regge trajectory and infinite component wave equations is discussed. 相似文献

A form factor reweighting technique has been elaborated to permit relatively easy comparisons between different form factor models applied to exclusive
decays. The software tool developed for this purpose is described. It can be used with any event generator, three of which were used in this work: ISGW2, PHSP and FLATQ2, a new powerful generator. The software tool allows for an easy and reliable implementation of any form factor model. The tool has been fully validated with the ISGW2 form factor hypothesis. The results of our present studies indicate that the combined use of the FLATQ2 generator and the form factor reweighting tool should play a very important role in future exclusive |V

We derive a parameterization formula for the partial wave analyses of charmed meson semi-leptonic decays while considering the effects of lepton mass. Because the proposed super-tau-charm factory will reach a significantly enhanced luminosity and BESIII is collecting new ψ(3770) → ■ data, our results will help improve the measurement precision of future partial wave analyses of charmed meson semi-muonic decays. 相似文献

A formalism for describing semileptonic decays of pseudoscalar mesons is developed on the basis of the instant form of relativistic Hamiltonian dynamics. By way of example, this formalism is applied to the decay process $K^ - \to \pi ^0 + \mu ^ - + \bar \nu _\mu $ . Relevant calculations are performed with wave functions that correspond to various models of constituent-quark interactions in mesons. Free parameters that appear in these models are determined from a fit to the root-mean-square radii of the kaons and pions. The results of the calculations agree well with experimental data. 相似文献
