研究了阻尼振动系统的自由界面子结构综合法.为了在最终给出的系统综合方程中考虑剩余柔度矩阵的影响,本文利用质量矩阵、阻尼矩阵和结构保留模态矩阵构造了一种与保留模态矩阵加权正交的矩阵.在计算自由-自由结构的剩余柔度矩阵时,通过这种加权正交矩阵能够避免直接对子结构刚度矩阵的求逆运算.在此基础上提出了一种新的有阻尼振动系统的自由界面子结构综合法.算例分析表明,本文的方法具有很高的计算精度.  相似文献

We consider the Cauchy problem for a general one-dimensional n×n hyperbolic symmetrizable system of balance laws. It is well known that, in many physical examples, for instance for the isentropic Euler system with damping, the dissipation due to the source term may prevent the shock formation, at least for smooth and small initial data. Our main goal is to find a set of general and realistic sufficient conditions to guarantee the global existence of smooth solutions, and possibly to investigate their asymptotic behavior. For systems which are entropy dissipative, a quite natural generalization of the Kawashima condition for hyperbolic-parabolic systems can be given. In this paper, we first propose a general framework for this kind of problem, by using the so-called entropy variables. Then we go on to prove some general statements about the global existence of smooth solutions, under different sets of conditions. In particular, the present approach is suitable for dealing with most of the physical examples of systems with a relaxation extension. Our main tools will be some refined energy estimates and the use of a suitable version of the Kawashima condition.  相似文献

Melnikov analysis for a ship with a general roll-damping model   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6  
In the framework of a general roll-damping model, we study the influence of different damping models on the nonlinear roll dynamics of ships through a detailed Melnikov analysis. We introduce the concept of the Melnikov equivalent damping and use phase-plane concepts to obtain simple expressions for what we call the Melnikov damping coefficients. We also study the sensitivity of these coefficients to parameter variations. As an application, we consider the equivalence of the linear-plus-cubic and linear-plus-quadratic damping models, and we derive a condition under which the two models yields the same Melnikov predictions. The free- and forced-oscillation behaviors of the models satisfying this condition are also compared.  相似文献

To investigate the influences of time scheme, pressure treatment and initial conditions in incompressible fluid dynamics, a Stokes problem is solved numerically on a slab geometry within the framework of spectral approximation in space. Four algorithms are examined: splitting schemes, influence matrix method, penalty formulation and pseudo-spectral space-time technique. It is shown that splitting schemes are less accurate than the other processes. Furthermore, the initial field should respect a compatibility condition to avoid singularities at the initial time. If it is not possible to build such a compatible field, the numerical procedure has to present good damping properties at the first steps of the time integration.  相似文献

With consideration of a high-rise coupled building system, a flexible beams-based analytical model is setup to characterize the dynamic behavior of the system. The general motion equation for the two beams interconnected by multiple viscous/visco-elastic dampers is rewritten into a non-dimensional form to identify the minimal set of parameters governing the dynamic characteristics. The corresponding exact solution suitable for arbitrary boundary conditions is presented. Furthermore, the methodology for computing the coefficients of the modal shape function is proposed. As an example, the explicit expression of the modal shape function is derived, provided only one damper is adopted to connect the adjacent buildings. Finally, to validate the proposed methodologies, three case studies are performed, in which the existence of the overdamping and the optimal damping coefficient are revealed. In the case of using one damper in connecting two similar buildings, the estimating equations for the first modal damping ratio are formulated.  相似文献

A single-node system introduced by Klarbring has provided insight into the non-uniqueness of solution in the quasi-static contact problem at the high coefficient of Coulomb friction. Here, we explore this issue for the two-node system under the slip displacement space in which the instantaneous condition is efficiently represented. In the paper, we identify a qualitatively different failure of the quasi-static evolution algorithm in which a more complex dynamic transition may occur. When the system evolves from the point where both-node discontinuity occurs, the transient evolution behavior involving a damping matrix is explored in order to investigate a final state of the two-node system. It is demonstrated that the final state is uniquely determined which is independent of the damping matrix.  相似文献

This paper presents the uniqueness and existence conditions for a rate-independent plasticity model for single crystals under a general stress state. The model is based on multiple slips on three-dimensional slip systems. The uniqueness condition for the plastic slips in a single crystal with nonlinear hardening is derived using the implicit function theorem. The uniqueness condition is the non-singularity of a matrix defined by the Schmid tensors, the elasticity, and the hardening rates of the slip systems. When this matrix becomes singular, the limitations on the loading paths that can be accommodated by the active slip systems (i.e., the existence conditions) are also given explicitly. For the compatible loading paths, a particular solution is selected by requiring the solution vector to be orthogonal to the null space of the singular coefficient matrix. The paper also presents a fully implicit algorithm for the plasticity model. Numerical examples of an fcc copper single crystal under cyclic loadings (pure shear and uniaxial strain) are presented to demonstrate the main features of the algorithm.  相似文献

This paper presents a new free-interface method of component mode synthesis for linear systems with arbitrary viscous damping. The left and right projection matrices described by slate-variable vectors are first introduced for components with rigid-body freedom. The operator function of projection matrices for state displacement and state force is proved, and then the state residual fiexibility matrix and the state residual inertia-relief attachment mode are defined and employed. The results of three examples demonstrate that the method proposed in this paper leads to very accurate system eigenvalues and high mode-synthesis efficiency  相似文献

We study the thermoelectric field for an electrically and thermally insulated coated hole of arbitrary shape embedded in an infinite nonlinearly coupled thermoelectric material subject to uniform remote electric current density and uniform remote energy flux. A conformal mapping function for the coating and matrix is introduced, which simultaneously maps the hole boundary and the coating-matrix interface onto two concentric circles in the image plane. Using analytic continuation, we derive a general solution in terms of two auxiliary functions. The general solution satisfies the insulating conditions along the hole boundary and all of the continuity conditions across the perfect coating-matrix interface. Once the two auxiliary functions have been obtained in the elementary-form, the four original analytic functions in the coating and matrix characterizing the thermoelectric fields are completely and explicitly determined. The design of a neutral coated circular hole that does not disturb the prescribed thermoelectric field in the thermoelectric matrix is achieved when the relative thickness parameter and the two mismatch parameters satisfy a simple condition. Finally, the neutrality of a coated circular thermoelectric inhomogeneity is also accomplished.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the dynamics of a spacecraft with multi-strut passive damper for large flexible appendage.The damper platform is connected to the spacecraft by a spheric hinge,multiple damping struts and a rigid strut.The damping struts provide damping forces while the rigid strut produces a motion constraint of the multibody system.The exact nonlinear dynamical equations in reducedorder form are firstly derived by using Kane’s equation in matrix form.Based on the assumptions of small velocity and small displacement,the nonlinear equations are reduced to a set of linear second-order differential equations in terms of independent generalized displacements with constant stiffness matrix and damping matrix related to the damping strut parameters.Numerical simulation results demonstrate the damping effectiveness of the damper for both the motion of the spacecraft and the vibration of the flexible appendage,and verify the accuracy of the linear equations against the exact nonlinear ones.  相似文献

A new family of explicit integration algorithms is developed based on discrete control theory for solving the dynamic equations of motion. The proposed algorithms are explicit for both displacement and velocity and require no factorisation of the damping matrix and the stiffness matrix. Therefore, for a system with nonlinear damping and stiffness, the proposed algorithms are more efficient than the common explicit algorithms that provide only explicit displacement. Accuracy and stability properties of the proposed algorithms are analysed theoretically and verified numerically. Certain subfamilies are found to be unconditionally stable for any system state (linear elastic, stiffness softening or stiffness hardening) that may occur in earthquake engineering of a practical structure. With dual explicit expression and excellent stability property, the proposed family of algorithms can potentially solve complicated nonlinear dynamic problems.  相似文献

ABSTRACT The title problem is studied, with emphasis on the small damping and circulatory force case. It is shown that small internal and/or external damping forces and/or smalt (as well as large) circulatory forces in general destabilize an otherwise stable gyroscopic conservative system. A condition for no destabilizing effects of these small forces is obtained, A concept of "perfect" system in elastic stability of nonconservative problems is also presented. The main aim of this paper is to contribute to the construction of Green’s functions for initial boundary value problems for fourth order partial differential equations. In this paper, we consider a transversely vibrating homogeneous semi-infinite beam with classical boundary conditions such as pinned, sliding, clamped or with a non-classical boundary conditions such as dampers. This problem is of important interest in the context of the foundation of exact solutions for semi-infinite beams with boundary damping. The Green’s functions are explicitly given by using the method of Laplace transforms. The analytical results are validated by references and numerical methods. It is shown how the general solution for a semi-infinite beam equation with boundary damping can be constructed by the Green’s function method, and how damping properties can be obtained.  相似文献

We propose a general model for pendular systems with an arbitrary number of links arranged sequentially. The form of this model is easily adaptable to different settings and operating conditions. The main subject of analysis is a system obtained as a specific case taken from the general analysis, a three-links pendulum with damping subject to periodic perturbation. We performed a theoretical analysis of the frequency response and compared it with results from temporal integration. Moreover, a law was obtained explaining the behavior of the shift of the resonant frequencies due to a change in a parameter.  相似文献

An experimental study of local and global bifurcations in a driven two-well magneto-mechanical oscillator is presented. A detailed picture of the local bifurcation structure of the system is obtained using an automated bifurcation data acquisition system. Basins of attractions for the system are obtained using a new experimental technique: an ensemble of initial conditions is generated by switching between stochastic and deterministic excitation. Using this stochastic interrogation method, we observe the evolution of basins of attraction in the nonlinear oscillator as the forcing amplitude is increased, and find evidence for homoclinic bifurcation before the onset of chaos. Since the entire transient is collected for each initial condition, the same data can be used to obtain pictures of the flow of points in phase space. Using Liouville's Theorem, we obtain damping estimates by calculating the contraction of volumes under the action of the Poincaré map, and show that they are in good agreement with the results of more conventional damping estimation methods. Finally, the stochastic interrogation data is used to estimate transition probability matrices for finite partitions of the Poincaré section. Using these matrices, the evolution of probability densities can be studied.  相似文献

研究了设置耗能阻尼器框架的地震作用振动方程求解及该结构的地震反应。框架结构设置耗能阻尼器后,振动方程的阻尼矩阵不再对振型具有正交性,本文对该振动方程给出了状态方程直接积分法,并与传统强制解耦法进行了比较分析,结果表明强制解耦法对结构第一阶振动反应求解偏差较小,而对于高阶振动反应差别较大,并且强制解耦法高估了阻尼器的减震效果。继而采用状态方程直接积分法对设置有粘滞阻尼器的框架结构进行了地震反应分析,探讨了阻尼器位置对框架结构地震反应的影响,结果表明设置有阻尼器的楼层减振效果明显,未设置阻尼器的楼层减振效果差别较大,甚至有可能出现楼层层间侧移增大的现象,由此提出耗能阻尼器应在结构中合理设置。  相似文献

We investigate theoretically thenonlinear normal modes of a vertical cantilever beam excited by aprincipal parametric resonance. We apply directly the method ofmultiple scales to the governing nonlinear nonautonomousintegral-partial-differential equation and associated boundary conditions.In the absence of damping, it is shown that the system has nonlinear normal modes, as defined by Rosenberg, even in the presence of the parametric excitation.We calculate the spatial correction to the linear mode shapedue to the effects of the inertia and curvature nonlinearities andthe parametric excitation. We compare the result obtained withthe direct approach with that obtained using a single-mode Galerkindiscretization.The deviation between the two predictions increases as the oscillationamplitude increases.  相似文献

The stability of the null solution in a system of coupled cells is investigated. Each cell evolves according to Hopfield's equation for an analog circuit, with a delay incorporated to account for finite switching speed of amplifiers. A necessary and sufficient condition on the connection matrix is obtained for delay-induced oscillations to be possible in a general (not necessarily symmetric) network.  相似文献
