New hybrid organic-inorganic alumina gels have been prepared by reacting aluminum sec-butoxide and propane-1,2-diol, in CCl4 as solvent. This reaction occurred without water addition and without the use of any catalyst, leading to the formation of
transparent and monolithic gels. IR,27Al and13CNMR show that an interchange reaction between OBu
s
alkoxide groups and
diol groups occurred, leading to the hybrid gels.
Samples heat treated at different temperatures under argon are weakly porous and have a small specific surface area. XRD indicates

Synthesis and characterization of hybrid organic-inorganic nanocomposites based on reaction of vanadium i-propoxide with an organically functionalized poly(ethylene glycol) having di-carbonyl groups is reported. The bulk gels were characterized by thermal analyses (DSC, TGA and TMA) and FT-IR spectroscopy. The results revealed that the gels consist of vanadium-oxygen-vanadium groupings which are cross-linked with the functionalized polymer through the di-carbonyl groups. Gels doped with lithium salt show significant electrical conductivity. 相似文献

Understanding the synthesis-structure-properties relationship of hybrid organic-inorganic materials is an important and fundamental task to develop a new generation of highly performing systems for the new needs of nanotechnologies. This issue is, also, important to improve the properties of hybrids when used in applications where nanoscale control is not a fundamental request. In this article, a short overview of epoxy amine sol-gel hybrids is reported. The synthesis of these materials has a large flexibility to allow the fabrication of a wide group of hybrids with different structures and properties, whose applications are ranging from non-linear optics to adhesive and protective coatings. 相似文献

Organosilsesquioxane-metal oxide hybrid materials prepared by the Sol-Gel process are mainly heterogeneous. In this paper we report the preparation of methylsilsesquioxane-titanium oxide, and methylsilsesquioxane-aluminium oxide hybrid materials by a nonhydrolytic sol-gel process involving the etherolysis-condensation of a mixture of methyltrichlorosilane and metal chloride. The Si/M ration in the xerogels were very closed to the one of the starting solutions. 29Si MAS NMR study has revealed that the methylsilsesquioxane-titanium oxide xerogel was heterogeneous at the atomic level. The spectrum of the hybrid containing aluminium, has shown beside a peak at –66 ppm corresponding to MeSi(OSi)3 environment, another peak at –47 ppm which was ascribed to MeSi(OAl)3 environment. The presence of only these two sites might be due to their stability. 相似文献

Ethylene Glycol-Citric Acid-Silica Hybrid Organic-Inorganic Materials Obtained by the Sol-Gel Method
The combination of inorganic polymeric networks with organic molecules leads to hybrid materials. Tetraethoxysilane (TEOS)
was used as the precursor for the inorganic component, covalently bonded to ethylene glycol (EG) and citric acid (CA) molecules,
whose esterification provides the in situ water for hydrolysis of TEOS. Ethanol was added in various amounts to the TEOS-EG-CA
mixtures in order to induce different molecular separations among the reacting molecules, thus modifying the molecular weight
distributions of the resulting materials.
Characterization of these hybrid materials was performed by several techniques, with consistent results among them.
The materials obtained are thermoplastic systems which can be used as coatings, or as bulk materials. In particular, their
rheological and thermal properties suggest their possible use as components of drilling fluids in the tertiary recovery of

Colloidal CdSe/ZnS core-shell nanocrystals, with a narrow size distribution, were dispersed in a hybrid sol resulting from the hydrolysis of tetraethylorthosilicate and 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (GLYMO). In order to reduce the gelation time and the exposure of the nanoparticles to air, several catalysts of the GLYMO epoxy ring opening were employed for the sol preparation, such as imidazole, methyl-imidazole, pyridine, benzylamine, propylamine. The role of the various catalysts was monitored by optical absorption measurements in the near infrared region, by observing the evolution of the epoxy bands. Imidazole was found to provide the fastest gelation and the best results in terms of bubble disappearance from the gel structure. The variation in the optical properties of the semiconductor nanoparticles embedded in the matrix was monitored as a function of the gelation time and was compared to the optical absorption and photoluminescence spectra of the nanoparticles dissolved in a chloroform solution. A decrease in the gelation-time results in a closer resemblance between the optical properties of the CdSe/ZnS doped monoliths and those of the particles dissolved in the solvent, before incorporation in the matrix. The photoluminescence of the CdSe/ZnS nanocrystals is not bleached after they are trapped in the glassy matrix. 相似文献

Organic-inorganic hybrid lithium ion conductors were prepared by the sol-gel process. The hybrid ion conductor will be used as the electrolyte for Li based high-energy density batteries. The hybrid ion conductor was prepared from a mixture of tetramethyl orthosilicate (TMOS), polyethylene glycol 200 (PEG200), lithium perchlorate (LiClO4) and water. A wet gel was prepared at room temperature. The gels dried at 80°C under vacuum did not contain water. The dried hybrid ion conductor gel had homogeneity and high transparency. Ionic conductivity of the hybrid sample was measured by the complex impedance method and it increased with increasing PEG200 content. The dried hybrid gel that contained no LiClO4 did not show ion conduction. Conductivity on the order of 10–5 S·cm–1 at room temperature was obtained. Structural characterization was done by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectra (FTIR) and NMR measurement of 13C and 1H, and the thermal stability and glass transition properties were studied by DSC. Glass transition temperature decreased with increasing PEG200 content and increased with increasing [Li]/[O] ratio (the oxygen considered is from the polyethylene glycol). Existence of the Si–O–(C2H4O)
n
–bond and the C–OH bond in the framework of the organic and inorganic phases was confirmed. TMOS and PEG200 were hydrolyzed and condensed. The organic and inorganic phases were chemically bonded and the microstructure of the hybrid matrix was shaped as comb. The comb shape leads to high ionic conduction. 相似文献

spirooxazine, and the photochromic performance can be further enhanced by introducing suitable additives. This work describes
the effects of additives on the photochromic intensity (ΔA
0), decolouration rate (k) and photostability of spirooxazine in sol-gel derived organic-inorganic hybrid matrices. They include fluoroalkylsilane
(FAS), bisphenolA (BPA) and methyl-imidazole (MI). FAS enhances both ΔA
0 and photostability, but has little effect onk. The higher the content of BPA, the higher the ΔA
0 and the higher the photostability, but the lower thek. The effect of MI on ΔA
0 andk is not so considerable as that of BPA and is a little complicated, while significant improvement in photostability is achieved

Monolithic and transparent hybrid Al-Zr gels were obtained by the reaction of homogeneous mixtures of metal alkoxides: (Al(OBus)3 + Zr(OPr)4) with Butan-1,3-diol at room temperature, without solvent, catalyst, or water. The products have been characterized by IR spectroscopy, DTA and TGA. The results show that the diol has reacted with the mixture of alkoxides leading to the monolithic transparent gels in which both organic-inorganic (–Al–O–R–O–Zr–) and inorganic (–Al–O–Zr–O–) bridges are formed.Xerogels obtained after the drying of gels were pyrolysed at different temperatures in air. The structure and morphology of the obtained materials were studied by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) method. Erbium tris 8-hydroxyquinoline (ErQ) was successfully incorporated into the sol–gel hybrid material (HYBRIMER) synthesized by using methyltriethoxysilane, vinyltriethoxysilane, and phenyltrimethoxysilane even though it has poor solubility in general organic solvent. The composition and microstructure of the HYBRIMER film doped with ErQ was analyzed using Rutherford backscattering method and scanning electron microscope. The refractive index of the HYBRIMER film was also investigated with ErQ concentration. The HYBRIMER film doped with ErQ showed a clear photoluminescence (PL) at 1.5 m. PL intensity increased with ErQ concentration without concentration quenching until Er/Si ratio reached 5 at%. 相似文献

A guest-host solid state device based on hybrid organic-inorganic materials and fullerene derivatives has been fabricated for optical limiting applications. Different 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane derived hybrid matrices have been synthesized to increase the optical limiting performances. These matrices have shown high laser damage fluences, low light scattering, good transmittance in the visible range and allowed to deposit 10–100 m thick films per single layer. The C60 derivatives have been functionalized with Si tri-alkoxide terminal groups and have reached a final concentration in the solid matrix up to 2 × 10–2 M·l–1. A multilayer system with a bottleneck structure has been developed to optimize a laser protection device. 相似文献

The current state and main problems of polymer sol-gel synthesis as a method of the preparation of hybrid polymer-inorganic nanocomposites are analyzed. The general characterization of sol-gel reactions is given and the routes of the combination of sol-gel synthesis with the polymerization of traditional monomers are considered. Particular attention is given to the formation of sol-gel precursors in the presence of organic polymers, including the formation of interpenetrating hybrid networks. The specificity of hybrid nanocomposites based on multicomponent ceramics is discussed. A new type of hybrid material is prepared through sol-gel processing by the polycondensation of (MeO)3Si–R–Si(OMe)3 units containing a rigid organic anisotropic group R. The hybrid covalently bounded organic-inorganic gel shows an unexpected structural birefringence n (n = 2 × 10–3). This birefringence is induced by a strain field anisotropy during gel aging as revealed by simultaneous dynamic light scattering and birefringence measurements. To better address the role of the strain field, we use a free interface sol-gel/air to control strain anisotropy and to measure the gel optical axis and its birefringence. We find that the birefringence is associated to a long-range orientational order of organic moieties induced by the strain anisotropy during the gel aging. 相似文献

用甲基三乙氧基硅烷和四乙氧基硅烷水解缩合后形成的有机 无机杂化溶胶 凝胶 (sol gel)涂层对国产气相用不锈钢毛细管柱进行脱活。通过气相法研究了不同老化温度下所得脱活涂层的行为。结果表明这种涂层不但对不锈钢柱内壁活性点有很好的遮盖作用 ,而且本身具有相当的分离能力。在 2 5 0℃下老化的涂层可使碳原子数在 12以下的正构烷烃达到基线分离 ,与未用涂层的不锈钢裸柱相比 ,吸附活性大大降低 ;但随着老化温度的升高 ,涂层在缩聚老化过程中产生不均匀微孔 ,对被分离物的作用力加强。 相似文献
