In this paper, the authors consider the problem of existence of periodic solutions for a second order neutral functional differential system with nonlinear difference D-operator. For such a system, since the possible periodic solutions may not be differentiable, our method is based on topological degree theory of condensing field, not based on Leray Schauder topological degree theory associated to completely continuous field.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the nonlinear differential equation with deviated argument u(t)=Au(t)+f(t,u(t),u[φ(u(t),t)]), tR+, in a Banach space (X,‖⋅‖), where A is the infinitesimal generator of an analytic semigroup. Under study is a systemof linear differential equations of neutral type with several delays of the argument. We obtain the conditions on the matrix coefficients of the system under which all solutions decrease with an exponential rate at infinity. Using some functionals of Lyapunov-Krasovskii type, the uniform estimates of solutions are established.  相似文献

Spectral properties of a differential operator of Sturm-Liouville type are studied in the case of retarding argument with different boundary conditions. The asymptotics of solutions to the corresponding differential equation is studied in the case of a summable potential. The well-posedness of a large class of singular partial differential equations of neutral type is discussed. Here the term singularity means that the difference operator of such equations is nonatomic at zero. This fact offers many difficulties in applying the usual methods of perturbation theory and Laplace transform technique and thus makes the study interesting. Our approach is new and it is based on functional analysis of semigroup of operators in an essential way, and allows us to introduce a new concept of solutions for such equations. Finally, we study the well-posedness of a singular reaction-diffusion equation of neutral type in weighted Lebesgue's spaces.  相似文献

The problem of choosing the best argument in the Cauchy problem for a system of ordinary differential equations with retarded argument is studied from the viewpoint of the method of continuation of the solution with respect to a parameter. It is proved that the arc length counted along the integral curve of the problem is the best argument for the system of continuation equations to be well-posed in the best possible way. A transformation of the Cauchy problem to the best argument is obtained.  相似文献
