The problem of the propagation of a laminar immersed fan jet with swirling was considered in [1–3]. In [1], the jet source scheme was used to find a self-similar solution for a weakly swirling jet. An attempt to solve by an integral method the analogous problem for a jet emanating from a slit of finite size was made in [2]. In [3], the equations of motion for a jet with arbitrary swirling were reduced under a number of assumptions to the equations that describe the flow of a flat immersed jet. This paper gives the numerical solution to the problem of the propagation of a radial jet emanating with arbitrary swirling from a slit of finite size and an analytic solution for the main section of the jet.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 2, pp. 49–54, March–April, 1991.  相似文献

We consider the flow formed by the interaction of a supersonic flow and a transverse sonic or supersonic jet blown at right angles to the direction of the main flow through a nozzle whose exit section is in a flat wall. When a gas jet is blown through a circular opening [1] the pressure rises in front of the jet because of the stagnation of the oncoming flow. This leads to separation of the boundary layer formed on the wall in front of the blowing nozzle. The resulting three-dimensional separation zone leads to a sharp increase in the pressure and the heat fluxes to the wall in front of the blowing nozzle, which is undesirable in many modern applications. The aim of the present investigation was to find a shape of the exit section of the blowing nozzle for which there is no three-dimensional separation zone of the boundary layer in front of the blowing nozzle.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 3, pp. 162–165, May–June, 1979.  相似文献

The problem of the interaction of a viscous supersonic stream in a flat nozzle with a transverse gas jet of the same composition blown through a slot in one wall of the nozzle is examined. The complete Navier-Stokes equations are used as the initial equations. The statement of the problem in the case of the absence of blowing coincides with [1]. The conditions at the blowing cut are obtained on the assumption that the flow of the blown jet up to the blowing cut is described by one-dimensional equations of ideal gasdynamics. The proposed model of the interaction is generalized to the case of flow of a multicomponent gas mixture in chemical equilibrium. The exact solutions found in [2] are used as the boundary conditions at the entrance to the section of the nozzle under consideration. The results of numerical calculations of the flows of a homogeneous nonreacting gas and of an equilibrium mixture of gases consisting of four components (H2, H2O, CO, CO2) are given for different values of the parameters of the main stream and of the blown jet. In the latter case it is assumed that the effect of thermo- and barodiffusion can be neglected.Translated from Zhurnal Prikladnoi Mekhaniki i Tekhnicheskoi Fiziki, No. 4, pp. 55–63, July–August, 1974.  相似文献

Blowing at bluff body base was considered under different conditions and for small amount of blowing this problem was solved using dividing streamline model [1]. The effect of supersonic blowing on the flow characteristics of the external supersonic stream was studied in [2–4]. The procedure and results of the solution to the problem of subsonic blowing of a homogeneous fluid at the base of a body in supersonic flow are discussed in this paper. Analysis of experimental results (see, e.g., [5]) shows that within a certain range of blowing rate the pressure distribution along the viscous region differs very little from the pressure in the free stream ahead of the base section. In this range the flow in the blown subsonic jet and in the mixing zones can be described approximately by slender channel flow. This approximation is used in the computation of nozzle flows with smooth wall inclination [6, 7]. On the other hand, boundary layer equations are used to compute separated stationary flows with developed recirculation regions [8] in order to describe the flow at the throat of the wake. The presence of blowing has significant effect on the flow structure in the base region. An increasing blowing rate reduces the size of the recirculation region [9] and increases base pressure. This leads to a widening of the flow region at the throat, usually described by boundary-layer approximations. At a certain blowing rate the recirculation region completely disappears which makes it possible to use boundary-layer equations to describe the flow in the entire viscous region in the immediate neighborhood of the base section.Translated from Zhurnal Prikladnoi Mekhaniki i Tekhnicheskoi Fiziki, No. 1, pp. 76–81, January–February, 1984.  相似文献

The interaction of a two-dimensional lateral gas jet — a liquid wing — with a supersonic flow is analyzed, and a system of dimensionless determining parameters derived. An experimental investigation was made of the influence of these parameters on the penetration depth of the jet in the considered case of blowing through a longitudinal slot on a cylindrical surface. Simple correlation dependences of the coordinates of the characteristics points of the jet geometry on the determining parameters are proposed, and these make it possible to generalize the obtained experimental data.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 2, pp. 157–162, March–April, 1980.  相似文献

The various approximate approaches to the investigation of the unsteady aerodynamic characteristics of an airfoil with jet flap [1–3] are applicable only for an airfoil, low jet intensity, and low oscillation frequencies. In the present paper, the method of discrete vortices [4] is generalized to the case of unsteady flow past a wing with jets and arbitrary shape in plan. The problem is solved in the linear formulation; the conditions used are standard: no flow through the wing and jet, finite velocities at the trailing edges where there is no jet, and also a dynamical condition on the jet. The wing and jet are assumed to be thin and the medium inviscid and incompressible.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 3, pp. 139–144, May–June, 1982.  相似文献

The second and third terms in the asymptotic expansion of the stream function in the nonsimilar problem of the development of a two-dimensional turbulent jet in an unbounded space are found in final form. Results of experimental investigations of free turbulent jets are cited, and the effect of the initial velocity profile on the aerodynamic characteristics of the jet is considered. The problem of the development of a two-dimensional turbulent jet in an unbounded space has been considered in [1–3]. The existing solution is similar, and is valid only at a sufficiently large distance from the slit. Allowance for the finite dimensions of the slit leads to a nonsimilar problem. The papers [4–6] are devoted to the experimental investigation of the free two-dimensional turbulent jet.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 4, pp. 137–142, July–August, 1971.  相似文献

The results of solving the problem of the initial section of isothermal coaxial jets with strong central blowing, when the transverse pressure gradient has only a slight effect and there is no circulation zone in the central jet are given. The problem is solved by the integral relation method with allowance for jet interference and the presence of a cocurrent flow. The results of an experimental investigation of these jets over a wide range of the geometric and regime parameters are also given. The results of the calculations made using the formulas obtained are compared with the experimental data.Moscow. The method of matched asymptotic expansions is used to construct an approximate solution to the problem of the influence of narrow transverse slits on the hydrodynamic coefficients of a thin rectangular wing moving near a wall. The flow in the neighborhood of a slit is described by a local asymptotic solution satisfying the condition of continuity of the pressure on the leading edge of the slit and matched to the main solution. Results of the calculations illustrate the influence of the slits on the hydrodynamic characteristics of the wing at different Strouhal numbers and aspect ratios.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 6, pp. 122–128, November–December, 1980.  相似文献

It is shown that the lift–to–drag ratio of a thin delta wing is significantly lower than the lift–to–drag ratio of an infinitely long swept plate with an identical lift force. The effect of sweep on a finite wing may be used by excluding disturbances from the leading edge of the wing via introducing a hardened stream surface (wedge) and increasing the wing length. A three–shock waverider is proposed for choosing the optimal parameters. The sharp wedge may be avoided by replacing planar shock waves by a cylindrical shock wave upstream of the blunted wedge. If the leading edge of the wedge is not parallel to the rib that is a source of the expansion wave, a plate with zero wave drag, generating a lift force, may be obtained behind this rib. The system of regularly intersecting shock waves may be applied to design a forward–swept wing.  相似文献

A purely alternating jet without mean mass flux and a mixed pulsed jet containing an additional blowing component were investigated by particle image velocimetry (PIV). The jets issued from a two-dimensional slit connected to a converging nozzle, opening normally from a flat wall. The pulsation was driven by a loudspeaker. The mean velocity fields were characterized by the combination of downstream directional blowing and omni-directional suction. The velocity fluctuations were dominated by contra-rotating eddy pairs synchronized with the pulsation and formed at the jet edges during blowing. Phase-synchronized measurements permit the investigation of the averaged patterns and the cycle-to-cycle fluctuations of these vortices. The mean trajectories of vortex centers during a whole injection cycle show how large lateral jet expansions are achieved. For a purely alternating jet, the expansion takes place close to the slit. For a mixed pulsed jet, the vortices develop farther from the orifice. In addition, proper orthogonal mode decomposition demonstrates that only a few modes are required to represent the main events of the flow dynamics. An experimental determination was made of the transverse forces resulting from asymmetric blowing of a transverse gas jet into the supersonic part of a Laval nozzle. The experimental data are generalized on the basis of the analogy between blowing and flow over an equivalent body and using the generalized theory of one-dimensional flows. An approximating dependence is obtained for determining the gain as a result of blowing.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 2, pp. 188–193, March–April, 1981.  相似文献

The results are given of an experimental investigation of turbulent boundary layers on porous plates in the case of homogeneous blowing at various angles to the wall. It is shown that the intensity and angle of the blowing influence the profiles of the averaged and pulsating components of the velocities, the characteristic thicknesses, the surface friction, and the turbulent tangential stresses in the boundary layer.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 3, pp. 59–64, May–June, 1982.We thank V. Two problems involving radial laminar jets of immiscible liquids are considered: a free radial slit jet and a jet on a rotating disk. An asymptotic method of solution is proposed that makes it possible to determine the flow parameters far from the source. The difference between these flows and those of homogeneous liquids is demonstrated.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 3, pp. 192–28, May–June, 1980.  相似文献

Wave lift-to-drag ratio is analyzed ignoring friction and using flows behind oblique shock waves and rarefaction waves. It is shown that the lift-to-drag ratio of an infinite oblique plate can surpass considerably that of triangular plates with subsonic, sonic, or supersonic edges. The simplest finite-span oblique wing is a wing with characteristic edges. However, when the normal-to-the-edge flow velocity component behind a shock reaches the speed of sound, the wing contracts into an edge, and other means must be used to exclude the end effect. Several possible variants are indicated. A straight wedge with side plates is the optimal shape for a lifting body with fixed volume, lift, length, and width. Under the same conditions, the cross-section of a pyramidal body formed by stream planes behind one or two plane shocks has practically no effect on the lift-to-drag ratio, while the region of high lift-to-drag ratio is much narrower than for a wedge. If a pyramid fails to provide the required lift-to-drag ratio, it is necessary to turn to forms that better fill the given area. Redistribution of lift between body and wing permits an improvement in the lift-to-drag ratio.Translated from Izvestiya Rossiiskoi Akademii Nauk, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 5, pp. 134–141, September–October, 1993.  相似文献
