A model of selforganization of cracks arising in a rock specimen (granite) compressed by a press is proposed. The model is based on the assumption of acoustic wave interaction between the cracks. To construct the model of selforganization of cracks, solutions of the Fokker–Planck equation are used. The experimentally observed spontaneous increase in the activity of acoustic emission, spatial and temporal clusterization, and formation of a fractal structure in rock specimens under constant and slowly varying loads are explained.  相似文献

This paper considers the elimination of asphalt–paraffin plugs in wellbore equipment using a highfrequency radiation source which is energized and deenergized periodically. The dynamics of melting of plugs is analyzed numerically. The time of removal of plugs is determined with variation in the offduty ratio of the operating cycle of the highfrequency oscillator and the time of its continuous operation in a cycle.  相似文献

A nonsimilar boundary layer analysis is presented for the problem of mixed convection in powerlaw type nonNewtonian fluids along a vertical plate with powerlaw wall temperature distribution. The mixed convection regime is divided into two regions, namely,the forced convection dominated regime and the free convection dominated regime. The two solutions are matched. Numerical results are presented for the details of the velocity and temperature fields. A discussion is provided for the effect of viscosity index on the surface heat transfer rate.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of two equal coplanar cracks with allowance for the crack faces contact interaction was investigated. The problem of the cracks located in homogeneous, isotropic, and linearly elastic solid subjected to normally incident tension–compression wave is solved by the boundary integral equations method. The influence of the distance between two cracks on the stress intensity factors (opening mode and transverse shear mode) is studied for a range of wave numbers. The results are compared with those obtained neglecting cracks’ closure.  相似文献

Equations that describe dispersion of a substance in a nononedimensional incompressible liquid flow through a plane channel are derived. The model under consideration extends the traditional Taylor model to the case where sources of the substance are present in the flow and relaxation transfer processes are taken into account. Additional conditions for the dispersion equations are obtained. The relation between the proposed model and the Taylor model is analyzed. Based on the equations obtained, the mass transfer between circulation regions in the flow is calculated and a system of cellularmodel equations for stagnant cavities is constructed.  相似文献

A mathematical model for the propagation of longwave perturbations in a freeboundary shear flow of an ideal stratified twolayer fluid is considered. The characteristic equation defining the velocity of perturbation propagation in the fluid is obtained and studied. The necessary hyperbolicity conditions for the equations of motion are formulated for flows with a monotonic velocity profile over depth, and the characteristic form of the system is calculated. It is shown that the problem of deriving the sufficient hyperbolicity conditions is equivalent to solving a system of singular integral equations. The limiting cases of weak and strong stratification are studied. For these models, the necessary and sufficient hyperbolicity conditions are formulated, and the equations of motion are reduced to the Riemann integral invariants conserved along the characteristics.  相似文献

Subgrid modeling of a filtration flow of a fluid in an inhomogeneous porous medium is considered. An expression for the effective permeability coefficient for the largescale component of the flow is derived using the scaleinvariance hypothesis. A mathematical model of gaslaser cutting of metal plates in an inert gas is proposed. The formation and flow of the liquid metal melt film at the cutting front is considered within the framework of incompressible boundarylayer equations. Based on the resultant analytical solution, a local law of energy conservation on the cutting surface is derived, which takes into account the meltfilm thickness and the temperature dependence of thermophysical parameters of the metal. The problem of the cutting shape and depth is solved in the twodimensional formulation. A comparison with experimental data is made in terms of the cutting depth and maximum cutting velocity for carbon and alloy steel.  相似文献

In this paper, the macroscopic dispersion resulting from one and twodimensional flows through a semiconfined aquifer with spatially variable hydraulic conductivity K which is represented by a stationary (statistically homogeneous) random process is analyzed using the spectral representation technique. Stochastic fluctuation equations of the steady flow and solute transport are solved to construct the macroscopic dispersive flux and evaluate the resulting macrodispersivity tensor in terms of the leakage factor and input covariances describing the hydraulic conductivity in a semiconfined aquifer bounded by a leaky layer above and an impervious stratum below. The macrodispersivity tensor is studied using some convenient forms of the log hydraulic conductivity process. The sensitivity of the resulting macrodispersivity to the input covariances is discussed along with the influence of the leakage factor for both one and twodimensional flows. It is found that the longitudinal macrodispersivities are increased due to the presence of leakage, while the transverse macrodispersivities are reduced due to leakage.  相似文献

The paper deals with different scenarios of electric arc discharge propagation in the ITER tokamak toroidal magnet conductor. Estimates are obtained for the rate of discharge propagation along an insulated conductor and the conditions under which the conductor is cut by a direct current arc with typical values of 10–80 kA. The modes of a vacuum arc and normal and highpressure arcs are considered. The analysis was based on steadystate heat and masstransfer equations in a combination with the model of evaporation of the Knudsen–Langmuir surface.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of the proper definition of temperature of a gas in nonequilibrium. It shows that the mean kinetic energy of the atoms of a rarefied gas is not a good measure for thethermodynamic temperature, because in general it jumps at a wall, and because it is nonmonotone in a onedimensional process of stationary heat conduction. The jump of the kinetic temperature is calculated and found to be about 5K in a rarefied gas. The basis for the calculations is provided by the arguments of extended thermodynamics of 14 moments. An essential tool is the minimax principle of entropy production recently postulated by Struchtrup Weiss [1], because it furnishes one important boundary condition.Sommario. Il lavoro riguarda la corretta definizione della temperatura di un gas in condizioni di nonequilibrio. Si mostra come lenergia cinetica media degli atomi di un gas rarefatto non sia una buona misura della temperatura termodinamica poiché in generale, essa risulta discontinua su una parete e nonmonotona in un processo unidimensionale di conduzione stazionaria del calore. Viene calcolato il salto della temperatura cinetica che risulta pari a circa 5K in un gas rarefatto. La base per il calcolo è fornita dal contesto della termodinamica estesa di 14 momenti. Uno strumento essenziale è rappresentato dal principio di minimax di produzione di entropia recentemente postulato da Struchtrup and Weiss [1], che fornisce unimportante condizione alcontorno.  相似文献

It is shown that during excitation of forced, resonant, inertial oscillations of large amplitude in a rigidly rotating fluid, the mechanism of formation of tornadolike vortices is primarily of a kinematic nature($advection of circulation of the azimuthal component velocity and stretching of vortex lines by the poloidal components of the velocity field that arise from excitation of inertial oscillations). The main parameters of the vortices are obtained by solutions of model problems. To excite such oscillations, it is necessary to deliver energy far exceeding the initial energy of the rotating fluid. Therefore, inertial oscillations by themselves cannot lead to the occurrence of intense atmospheric vortices. Nevertheless, such oscillations can apparently play the role of a trigger mechanism that activates more complex processes of vortex formation related to instability of the atmosphere.  相似文献

An isothermal flow of a twophase multicomponent mixture through a smalldiameter capillary tube is examined by the densityfunctional method. For low ratios of the characteristic radius of the capillary to its length, a general form of the dominating term in the asymptotic solution is found. An improved version of the law of mixture transfer is obtained. The form of possible corrections to the Darcy law for the filtration rates of the phases is discussed.  相似文献

Nonlinear wave processes in shockloaded elastoplastic materials are modeled. A comparison of the results obtained with experimental data and numerical solutions of exact systems of dynamic equations shows that the model equations proposed qualitatively describe the stressdistribution evolution in both the elasticflow and plasticflow regions and can be used to solve one and twodimensional problems of pulsed deformation and fracture of elastoplastic media.  相似文献

Relaxation of a lowintensity atomic beam in a gas at rest is examined by means of numerical modeling with the method of test particles. Temperaturefield features in the mixing region are considered. A relation between the relaxation length and the initial velocity and mass of injected particles is obtained. Conditions are found under which the relaxation length is minimal.  相似文献
