In the present paper, under investigation is a nonisospectral modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation, which is shown to have two Painleve branches through the Painleve analysis. With symbolic computation, two Lax pairs for such an equation are derived by applying the generalized singular manifold method. Furthermore, based on the two obtained Lax pairs, the binary Darboux transformation is constructed and then the N-th-iterated potential transformation formula in the form of Grammian is also presented.  相似文献

The modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) typed equations can be used to describe certain nonlinear phenomena in fluids, plasmas, and optics. In this paper, the discretized mKdV lattice equation is investigated. With the aid of symbolic computation, the discrete matrix spectral problem for that system is constructed. Darboux transformation for that system is established based on the resulting spectral problem. Explicit solutions are derived via the Darboux transformation. Structures of those solutions are shown graphically, which might be helpful to understand some physical processes in fluids, plasmas, and optics.  相似文献

In this paper, we put our focus on a variable-coe~cient fifth-order Korteweg-de Vries (fKdV) equation, which possesses a great number of excellent properties and is of current importance in physical and engineering fields. Certain constraints are worked out, which make sure the integrability of such an equation. Under those constraints, some integrable properties are derived, such as the Lax pair and Darboux transformation. Via the Darboux transformation, which is an exercisable way to generate solutions in a recursive manner, the one- and two-solitonic solutions are presented and the relevant physical applications of these solitonic structures in some fields are also pointed out.  相似文献

In this paper, we derive the bilinear form for a variable-coefficient Kadomtsev Petviashvili-typed equation. Based on the bilinear form, we obtain the Wronskian determinant solution, which is proved to be indeed an exact solution of this equation through the Wronskian technique. In addition, we testify that this equation can be reduced to a Jacobi identity by considering its solution as a Grammian determinant by means of Pfaffian derivative formulae.  相似文献

With the aid of computation, we consider the variable-coefficient coupled nonlinear Schrodinger equations with the effects of group-velocity dispersion, self-phase modulation and cross-phase modulation, which have potential applications in the long-distance communication of two-pulse propagation in inhomogeneous optical fibers. Based on the obtained nonisospectral linear eigenvalue problems (i.e. Lax pair), we construct the Darboux transformation for such a model to derive the optical soliton solutions. In addition, through the one- and two-soliton-like solutions, we graphically discuss the features of picosecond solitons in inhomogeneous optical fibers.  相似文献

Recently,a new decomposition of the (2 1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili(KP) equation to a (1 1)-dimensional Broer-Kaup (BK) equation and a (1 1)-dimensional high-order BK equation was presented by Lou and Hu.In our paper,a unified Darboux transformation for both the BK equation and high-order BK equation is derived with the help of a gauge transformation of their spectral problems. As application, new explicit soliton-like solutions with five arbitrary parameters for the BK equation,high-order BK equation and KP equation are obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, the (2+1)-dimensional generalization of shallow water wave equation, which may be used to describe the propagation of ocean waves,is analytically investigated. With the aid of symbolic computation,we prove that the (2+1)-dimensional generalization of shallow water wave equation possesses the Painlev property under a certain condition, and its Lax pair is constructed by applying the singular manifold method.Based on the obtained Lax representation, the Darboux transformation (DT) is constructed. The first iterated solution, second iterated solution and a special N-soliton solution with an arbitrary function are derived with the resulting DT.Relevant properties are graphically illustrated, which might be helpful to understanding the propagation processes for ocean waves in shallow water.  相似文献

The extended form of modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation with variable-coefficient is investigated in the framework of Painlevé analysis. The Lax pairs are obtained by analysing two Painlevé branches of this equation. Starting with the Lax pair, the N-times Darboux transformation is constructed and the N-soliton solution formula is given, which contains 2n free parameters and two arbitrary functions. Furthermore, with different combinations of the parameters, several types of soliton solutions are calculated from the first order to the third order. The regularity conditions are discussed in order to avoid the singularity of the solutions. Moreover, we construct the generalized Darboux transformation matrix by considering a special limiting process and find a rational-type solution for this equation.  相似文献

The new soliton solutions for the variable-coefficient Boussinesq system, whose applications are seen in fluid dynamics, are studied in this paper with symbolic computation. First, the Painleve analysis is used to investigate its integrability properties. For the identified case we give, the Lax pair of the system is found, and then the Darboux transformation is constructed. At last, some new soliton solutions are presented via the Darboux method. Those solutions might be of some value in fluid dynamics.  相似文献

A generalized Drinfel'd Sokolov-Wilson (DSW) equation and its Lax pair are proposed. A Daorboux transformation for the generalized DSW equation is constructed with the help of the gauge transformation between spectral problems, from which a Darboux transformation for the DSW equation is obtained through a reduction technique. As an application of the Darboux transformations, we give some explicit solutions of the generalized DSW equation and DEW equation such as rational solutions, soliton solutions, periodic solutions.  相似文献

The soliton solutions for the nonisospeetral BKP equation are derived through Hirota method and Pfaffian technique. We also derive the bilinear Baeklund transformations for the isospectral and nonisospeetral BKP equation and find solutions with the help of the obtained bilinear Baeklund transformations.  相似文献

A hierarchy of new nonlinear evolution equations associated with a 2 × 2 matrix spectral problem is derived. One of the nontrivial equations in this hierarchy is the famous Sharma-Tasso-Olver equation. Then infinitely many conservation laws of this equation are deduced.Darboux transformation for the Sharma-Tasso-Olver equation is constructed with the aid of a gauge transformation.  相似文献

Starting from a simple transformation, and with the aid of symbolic computation, we establish the relation- ship between the solution of a generalized variable coefficient Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (vKP) equation and the solution of a system of linear partial differential equations. According to this relation, we obtain Wronskian form solutions of the vKP equation, and further present N-soliton-like solutions for some degenerated forms of the vKP equation. Moreover, we also discuss the influences of arbitrary constants on the soliton and N-soliton solutions of the KPII equation.  相似文献

The bilinear form for a nonisospectral and variable-coefficient KdV equation is obtained and some exact soliton solutions are derived through Hirota method and Wronskian technique. We also derive the bilinear transformation from its Lax pairs and find solutions with the help of the obtained bilinear transformation.  相似文献
