Dark green crystals of (NpO(2))(3)(OH)(SeO(3))(H(2)O)(2)·H(2)O (1) have been prepared by a hydrothermal reaction of neptunyl(V) and Na(2)SeO(4) in an aqueous solution at 150 °C, while green plates of Na(NpO(2))(SeO(3))(H(2)O) (2) have been synthesized by evaporation of a solution of neptunyl(V), H(2)SeO(4), and NaOH at room temperature. Both compounds have been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The structure of compound contains three crystallographically unique Np atoms that are bonded to two O atoms to form a nearly linear O═Np═O NpO(2)(+) cation. Neighboring Np(5+) ions connect to each other through a bridging oxo ion from the neptunyl unit, a configuration known as cation-cation interactions (CCIs), to build a complex three-dimensional network. More specifically, each Np(1)O(2)(+), Np(2)O(2)(+), and Np(3)O(2)(+) cation is involved in three, five, and four CCIs with other units, respectively. The framework of neptunyl(V) pentagonal bipyramids is decorated by selenite trigonal pyramids with one-dimensional open channels where uncoordinated waters are trapped via hydrogen bonding interactions. Compound adopts uranophane-type [(NpO(2))(SeO(3))](-) layers, which are separated by Na(+) cations and water molecules. Within each layer, neptunyl(V) pentagonal bipyramids share equatorial edges with each other to form a single chain that is further connected by both monodentate and bidentate selenite trigonal pyramids. Crystallographic data: compound, monoclinic, P2(1)/c, Z = 4, a = 6.6363(8) ?, b = 15.440(2) ?, c = 11.583(1) ?, β = 103.549(1)°, V = 1153.8(2) ?(3), R(F) = 0.0387 for I > 2σ(I); compound (2), monoclinic, C2/m, Z = 4, a = 14.874(4) ?, b = 7.271(2) ?, c = 6.758(2) ?, β = 112.005(4)°, V = 677.7(3) ?(3), R(F) = 0.0477 for I > 2σ(I).  相似文献

Neptunium (IV) hydroxysulfate, Np(OH)2SO4, was synthesized using hydrothermal techniques. The X-ray powder diffraction pattern indicates that the compound is isomorphous with the Th(IV) and U(IV) analogs. Cell constants for the three compounds clearly show the effects of the actinide contraction. Visible and near-ir spectra are consistent with the presence of Np(IV) and are compared to spectra of Np(IV) in acidic solution. The ir spectrum contains bands which are assigned to the hydroxy and sulfate groups.  相似文献

The hydrothermal reaction of NpO(2) with IO(3)(-) in the presence of nitrate results in the formation of NpO(2)(IO(3)) (1). Under similar conditions, NpO(2) reacts with AgNO(3) and SeO(2) to yield alpha-AgNpO(2)(SeO(3)) (2) and beta-AgNpO(2)(SeO(3)) (3). The structure of 1 consists of distorted pentagonal bipyramidal Np(V) centers that are bridged by iodate anions. In addition, the oxo atoms of the neptunyl(V) cations coordinate adjacent Np(V) centers creating layers that are linked into a three-dimensional network structure by the iodate anions. The structure is polar owing to the alignment of the stereochemically active lone pair of electrons on the iodate anions along the c-axis. alpha-AgNpO(2)(SeO(3)) (2) forms a layered structure consisting of hexagonal bipyramidal NpO(8) polyhedra that are bound by chelating and bridging selenite anions. The primary and secondary structures of 3 are similar to those of 1, and neptunyl-neptunyl interactions are partially responsible for the creation of a three-dimensional network structure. However, the selenite anions in 3 are rotated with respect to the iodate anions found in 1, and the structure is centrosymmetric. The network found in 3 consists of interconnecting, approximately square channels that house the Ag(+) cations. A bond-valance sum parameter of 2.036 A for Np(V) bound exclusively to oxygen has been developed with b = 0.37 A. Crystallographic data: 1, orthorhombic, space group Pna2(1), a = 13.816(2) A, b = 5.8949(8) A, c = 5.5852(8) A, Z = 4; 2, monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n, a = 4.3007(3) A, b = 9.5003(7) A, c = 11.5877(9) A, beta = 95.855(1) degrees, Z = 4; 3, triclinic, space group Ponemacr;, a = 7.1066(6) A, b = 8.3503(7) A, c = 8.3554(7) A, alpha = 89.349(1) degrees, beta = 77.034(1) degrees, gamma = 76.561(1) degrees, Z = 2.  相似文献

A novel organically templated cobalt-vanadium oxalate, (C(2)H(10)N(2))[Co(2)(C(2)O(4))V(4)O(12)], was synthesized under mild hydrothermal conditions and characterized by single-crystal/powder X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. The compound crystallizes in an orthorhombic system with space group Cmcm and cell parameters a = 11.527(2) A, b = 9.9476(18) A, c = 14.780(3) A. The compound possesses 3-dimensional topologies with sodalite analogue structure and is constructed by C(2)O(4)-incorporated beta cage units. On the basis of the results of TG/DTA analyses, the structure is thermally stable up to approximately 573 K.  相似文献

The synthesis, the characterization, and the thermal decomposition of the dioxouranium(VI) ternary complex of formula Na4(UO2)2(OH)4(C2O4)2, has been studied. The identification of the compound was performed by chemical analysis and by infrared spectrometry. Thermal decomposition of the compound occurs in several steps due to the decomposition of the salt to Na2O and UO3 oxides. The stoichiometry of the steps, hypothesized by means of the thermodynamic and kinetic parameters, is confirmed by the evolved gas analysis studied by FTIR spectrometer coupled to TG/DSC apparatus. Model‐fitting and model‐free kinetic methods have been used in kinetic analysis. The latter allows determining kinetic scheme. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Two new cobalt phosphates, NaCo3(OH)(PO4)2.1/4H2O (1) and Na(NH4)Co2(PO4)2.H2O (2) have been synthesized hydrothermally and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction methods, vibrational (IR and Raman) spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and magnetic measurements. The structure of 1 is a new framework type while 2 is an example of a chiral cobalt phosphate. Both phases contain channels in which the Na+, NH4+ cations and H2O molecules are located.  相似文献

A new magnesium borate Mg2[B2O4(OH)2]·H2O has been synthesized by the method of phase transformation of double salt at hydrothermal condition and characterized by XRD, IR, TG and DSC. The enthalpy of solution of Mg2[B2O4(OH)2]·H2O in 0.9764 mol L–1 HCl was determined. With the incorporation of the enthalpies of solution of H3BO3 in HCl (aq), of MgO in (HCl+H3BO3) (aq), and the standard molar enthalpies of formation of MgO(s), H3BO3(s), and H2O(l), the standard molar enthalpy of formation of –(3185.78±1.91) kJ mol–1 of Mg2[B2O4(OH)2]·H2O was obtained. This revised version was published online in November 2005 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

Rubidium chromium(III) dioxalate dihydrate [diaquabis(μ‐oxalato)chromium(III)rubidium(I)], [RbCr(C2O4)2(H2O)2], (I), and dicaesium magnesium dioxalate tetrahydrate [tetraaquabis(μ‐oxalato)magnesium(II)dicaesium(I)], [Cs2Mg(C2O4)2(H2O)4], (II), have layered structures which are new among double‐metal oxalates. In (I), the Rb and Cr atoms lie on sites with imposed 2/m symmetry and the unique water molecule lies on a mirror plane; in (II), the Mg atom lies on a twofold axis. The two non‐equivalent Cr and Mg atoms both show octahedral coordination, with a mean Cr—O distance of 1.966 Å and a mean Mg—O distance of 2.066 Å. Dirubidium copper(II) dioxalate dihydrate [diaquabis(μ‐oxalato)copper(II)dirubidium(I)], [Rb2Cu(C2O4)2(H2O)2], (III), is also layered and is isotypic with the previously described K2‐ and (NH4)2CuII(C2O4)2·2H2O compounds. The two non‐equivalent Cu atoms lie on inversion centres and are both (4+2)‐coordinated. Hydrogen bonds are medium‐strong to weak in the three compounds. The oxalate groups are slightly non‐planar only in the Cs–Mg compound, (II), and are more distinctly non‐planar in the K–Cu compound, (III).  相似文献

The composition and structure of a new complex of pentavalent neptunium [NpO2(N3)(Phen)(H2O)]2 · 3H2O are studied by X-ray diffraction analysis. The coordination polyhedron of the Np atom is a pentagonal bipyramid, and the nearest environment of each neptunoyl ion contains two nitrogen atoms of phenanthroline and the azide ion. The phenanthroline molecules act as bidentate chelate ligands closing the five-membered metal cycles. The presented absorption spectra of the compound in the visible and IR regions reflect the specific features of the complex structure.  相似文献

The 1/2V2O5-H2C2O4/H3PO4/NH4OH system was investigated using hydrothermal techniques. Four new phases, (NH4)VOPO(4).1.5H2O (1), (NH4)0.5VOPO(4).1.5H2O (2), (NH4)2[VO(H2O)3]2[VO(H2O)][VO(PO4)2]2.3H2O (3), and (NH4)2[VO(HPO4)]2(C2O4).H2O (4), have been prepared and structurally characterized. Compounds 1 and 2 have layered structures closely related to VOPO(4).2H2O and A0.5VOPO4.yH2O (A = mono- or divalent metals), whereas 3 has a 3D open-framework structure. Compound 4 has a layered structure and contains both oxalate and phosphate anions coordinated to vanadium cations. The crystal structures of Na2Mg3(OH)2(SO4)3 · 4H2O and K2Mg3(OH)2(SO4)3 · 2H2O, were determined from conventional laboratory X‐ray powder diffraction data. Synthesis and crystal growth were made by mixing alkali metal sulfate, magnesium sulfate hydrate, and magnesium oxide with small amounts of water followed by heating at 150 °C. The compounds crystallize in space group Cmc21 (No. 36) with lattice parameters of a = 19.7351(3), b = 7.2228(2), c = 10.0285(2) Å for the sodium and a = 17.9427(2), b = 7.5184(1), c = 9.7945(1) Å for the potassium sample. The crystal structure consists of a linked MgO6–SO4 layered network, where the space between the layers is filled with either potassium (K+) or Na+‐2H2O units. The potassium‐bearing structure is isostructural to K2Co3(OH)2(SO4)3 · 2(H2O). The sodium compound has a similar crystal structure, where the bigger potassium ion is replaced by sodium ions and twice as many water molecules. Geometry optimization of the hydrogen positions were made with an empirical energy code.  相似文献

Hydroxo Compounds. 10. The Sodium Oxohydroxostannates(II) Na4[Sn4O(OH)10] and Na2[Sn2O(OH)4] Na4[Sn4O(OH)10] = Na4[Sn(OH)3]2[Sn2O(OH)4] ( I ) and Na2[Sn2O(OH)4] ( II ) have now been doubtlessly characterized as the first Na-hydroxostannates(II). I crystallizes monoclinic in P21/n (a = 1522.4(5) pm, b = 830.0(2) pm, c = 1276.0(3) pm, β = 104.8(2)°, Z = 4, R = 0.047, 1137 Ihkl); II crystallizes orthorhombic in P212121 (a = 1450(2) pm, b = 1665(2) pm, c = 590.7(8) pm, Z = 8, R = 0.042, 1208 Ihkl). II is identical with the compound which was described up to now as “Na[Sn(OH)3]”. The new compounds contain the complex anions [Sn(OH)3]? and [Sn2O(OH)4]2?, whose structures are now proved. The oxotetrahydroxo-distannate(II) anion [Sn2O(OH)4]2? exhibits a syn-conformation with respect to the projection along the (Sn? Sn) vector. The two compounds crystallize with pronounced layer structures, which show direct topotactical relations with one another as well as with SnO. This relates closely to the fast formation of SnO from crystals of I and II .  相似文献
