Let n be an integer greater than 1, and let G be a group. A subset {x1, x2, ..., xn} of n elements of G is said to be rewritable if there are distinct permutations p \pi and s \sigma of {1, 2, ..., n} such that¶¶xp(1)xp(2) ?xp(n) = xs(1)xs(2) ?xs(n). x_{\pi(1)}x_{\pi(2)} \ldots x_{\pi(n)} = x_{\sigma(1)}x_{\sigma(2)} \ldots x_{\sigma(n)}. ¶¶A group is said to have the rewriting property Qn if every subset of n elements of the group is rewritable. Let G be a finite group and O{\cal O} a complete discrete valuation ring of characteristic zero with maximal ideal (p)(\pi ) and residue field k = O/(p)k = {\cal O}/(\pi ) of characteristic p > 0. Let S be a simple kG-module and QS a projective O G{\cal O} G-lattice such that QS / pQSQ_S / \pi Q_S is a projective cover of S. We show that if S is liftable and QS belongs to a block of O G{\cal O} G of infinite representation type, then the standard Auslander-Reiten sequence terminating in W-1S\Omega ^{-1}S is a direct summand of the short exact sequence obtained from some Auslander-Reiten sequence of OG{\cal O}G-lattices by reducing each term mod (p)(\pi ).  相似文献

Let a\alpha and b\beta be bounded measurable functions on the unit circle T. The singular integral operator Sa, bS_{\alpha ,\,\beta } is defined by Sa, b f = aPf + bQf(f ? L2 (T))S_{\alpha ,\,\beta } f = \alpha Pf + \beta Qf(f \in L^2 (T)) where P is an analytic projection and Q is a co-analytic projection. In the previous paper, the norm of Sa, bS_{\alpha ,\,\beta } was calculated in general, using a,b\alpha ,\beta and a[`(b)] + H\alpha \bar {\beta } + H^\infty where HH^\infty is a Hardy space in L (T).L^\infty (T). In this paper, the essential norm ||Sa, b ||e\Vert S_{\alpha ,\,\beta } \Vert _e of Sa, bS_{\alpha ,\,\beta } is calculated in general, using a[`(b)] + H + C\alpha \bar {\beta } + H^\infty + C where C is a set of all continuous functions on T. Hence if a[`(b)]\alpha \bar {\beta } is in H + CH^\infty + C then ||Sa, b ||e = max(||a|| , ||b|| ).\Vert S_{\alpha ,\,\beta } \Vert _e = \max (\Vert \alpha \Vert _\infty , \Vert \beta \Vert _\infty ). We study the problem of strong uniqueness in Lp for the Dirichlet operator perturbed by a singular complex-valued potential. First we construct the generator -Hp of a C0-semigroup in Lp, with Hp extending the restriction of the perturbed Dirichlet operator to the set of smooth functions. The corresponding sesquilinear form in L2 is not assumed to be sectorial. Then we reveal sufficient conditions on the logarithmic derivative # of the measure rdx \rho dx and the potential q which ensure that -Hp is the only extension of D+b·?-q \upharpoonrightC0 \Delta +\beta \cdot \nabla -q \upharpoonright_{C_0^{\infty}} which generates a C0-semigroup on Lp. The method of a priori estimates of solutions to corresponding differential equations is employed.  相似文献

Let G be a reductive algebraic group defined over \Bbb Q {\Bbb Q} . Let P, P' be parabolic subgroups of G, defined over \Bbb Q {\Bbb Q} , and let _boxclose_boxclose, a_P') t \in W({\frak a}_{P}, {\frak a}_{P'}) . In this paper we study the intertwining operator MP¢|P(t,l), l ? \frak a*P,\Bbb C M_{P' \vert P}(t,\lambda),\,\lambda \in {\frak a}^*_{P,{\Bbb C}} , acting in corresponding spaces of automorphic forms. One of the main results states that each matrix coefficient of MP¢|P(t,l) M_{P' \vert P}(t,\lambda) is a meromorphic function of order £ n + 1 \le n + 1 , where n = dim G. Using this result, we further investigate the rank one intertwining operators, in particular, we study the distribution of their poles.  相似文献

Diese Klasse tritt häufig im Zusammenhang mit Differentialgleichungen auf und ist kürzlich Gegenstand von mehreren Arbeiten geworden. Oft gelingt es, nur mf ? M1mf \in M_1 mit einer passenden Funktion m ~ 1m\sim 1 zu zeigen, und es erhebt sich die Frage, ob daraus f ? M1f \in M_1 folgt. Diese Frage wird hier für eine Unterklasse M ì M1M \subset M_1 untersucht. Unsere Ergebnisse füllen eine Lücke in früheren Arbeiten und sind unserer Meinung nach auch für sich selbst von Interesse.  相似文献

If the longitudinal line method is applied to the Cauchy problem ut = uxx, u(0, x) = u0(x) with a bounded function u0, one is led to a linear initial value problem v¢(t)=A v(t), v(0)=wv'(t)=A v(t),\, v(0)=w in l (\Bbb Z)l^\infty (\Bbb Z). . Let P(u) denote the pressure at the density u defined in the Gibbs statistical mechanics determined by a 2 body potential U (qi - qj). The function U(x) is supposed rotationally invariant and of finite range but may be unbounded about the origin. We establish a representation of P(u) by means of the law of large numbers for the virial ?i,j qi ·? U(qi-qj)\sum_{i,j} q_i \cdot {\nabla} U(q_i-q_j), whether or not there occur phase transitions. This result on P(u) is motivated by a study of the hydrodynamic behavior of a system of a large number of interacting Brownian particles moving on a d-dimensional torus (d = 1, 2, ...) in which the interaction is given by binary potential forces of potential U. Employing our representation of P(u), we also show that in the hydrodynamic limit of such a system there arises a non linear evolution equation of the form ut = 1/2 DP(u)u_t = {1\over2} \Delta P(u) under a certain hypothetical postulate concerning concentration of particles.  相似文献

We calculate M(2, n) and show that the value M(2, n) is attained if and only if the points are distributed as evenly as possible among the vertices of a regular triangle of edge-length 1. Moreover we give an upper bound for the value \mathop?ij=1n|| xi-xj|| \textstyle\mathop\sum\limits _{i,\,j=1}^{n}\| x_{i}-x_{j}\| , where the points x1,...,xn are chosen under the same constraints as above.  相似文献

Let R be a right near-ring with identity and Mn(R) be the near-ring of n 2 n matrices over R in the sense of Meldrum and Van der Walt. In this paper, Mn(R) is said to be s\sigma-generated if every n 2 n matrix A over R can be expressed as a sum of elements of Xn(R), where Xn(R)={fijr | 1\leqq i, j\leqq n, r ? R}X_n(R)=\{f_{ij}^r\,|\,1\leqq i, j\leqq n, r\in R\}, is the generating set of Mn(R). We say that R is s\sigma-generated if Mn(R) is s\sigma-generated for every natural number n. The class of s\sigma-generated near-rings contains distributively generated and abstract affine near-rings. It is shown that this class admits homomorphic images. For abelian near-rings R, we prove that the zerosymmetric part of R is a ring, so the class of zerosymmetric abelian s\sigma-generated near-rings coincides with the class of rings. Further, for every n, there is a bijection between the two-sided subgroups of R and those of Mn(R).  相似文献

On suppose que dans la surface d‘énergie E0 > 0, les points critiques du symbole p(x, x) p(x, \xi) forment une sous-variété C \mathcal C et que p est non dégénéré dans l‘espace normal à C \mathcal C .¶En utilisant les résultats de [6] et [18], on obtient une majoration du nombre de résonances dans des disques de rayon d \delta centrés en E proche de E0, où d \delta satisfait Ch < d \delta < 1/C pour une constante C > 0. En généralisant la formule de trace de Sjöstrand qui exprime la trace d‘une différence d‘opérateurs en fonction des résonances, on trouve une minoration du nombre de résonances proches de E0.  相似文献
