When an acoustic wave excites a phase-shifted fiber Bragg grating (PSFBG) several properties of the transmission/reflection spectrum, such as transmission notch depth and spectral bandwidth are influenced. In this work, a study on the effect of acoustic waves in PSFBGs is presented. The results are supported by theoretical simulation and experimental work. The technique can be used for different applications, such as in a fast tunable optical notch filter.  相似文献

针对航天领域复合材料结构在空间服役环境的热响应监测需求,研究了一种热载荷作用下基于光纤Bragg光栅(FBG)反射光谱特征分析的碳纤维蜂窝夹芯结构监测方法。将光纤Bragg光栅传感器分别植入碳纤维蜂窝夹芯结构的不同铺层,通过监测不同热载荷下各铺层位置的光纤光栅反射光谱,得到碳纤维蜂窝夹芯结构相关铺层位置热应变特征。研究表明,碳纤维蜂窝夹芯结构不同材料铺层的热应变特征存在一定差异。植入外蒙皮表面与玻璃布之间的光纤光栅反射光谱随着温度升高,中心波长向长波方向漂移,且波形未出现明显改变。埋植于外蒙皮第二、三层碳纤维织物预浸料之间的光栅反射光谱随着温度降低逐渐出现旁瓣、多峰等啁啾效应,其主峰与右侧次峰中心波长均向短波方向逐渐漂移,主峰峰值幅度变化较小,温度灵敏度约为5.56×10-3 dBm·℃-1,而右侧次峰幅度显著增大,温度灵敏度约为40.32×10-3 dBm·℃-1;埋植于内蒙皮和蜂窝芯子之间的光栅反射光谱随着温度降低,其半波峰带宽逐渐增大,变化率约为3.19 pm·℃-1,且出现显著多峰趋势,这是由于层间热应力分布不均匀所形成。在-70~+60 ℃温度范围,各植入层热应变均随温度升高而增大,且变化趋势相接近,而在+60~+120 ℃温度范围内,各植入层热应变变化趋势呈现显著差异。这些特性能够为后继空间环境复合材料航天器结构状态在轨监测提供有益帮助。  相似文献

提出了一种新型的光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)水声传感探头结构以及光纤光栅传感信号的自解调方法。利用一对匹配光栅构成推挽结构,实现了传感-解调的合二为一,大大地减小了系统的复杂度;并通过筒状弹性体结构,解决了裸光纤光栅测量水声信号的灵敏度过小的问题,并具有温度补偿作用。仿真与初步实验结果表明,该水听器探头的测量动态范围超过100 dB,在100~200 dB re 1μPa的水声压范围内,测量灵敏度为0.36 nm/Mpa。  相似文献

为了提高光纤传感器的性能和进一步缩小传感器的尺寸,通过实验制备出一种基于光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)与长周期光栅(LPG)并联的新型集成光学传感器。该传感器中的FBG和LPG是利用飞秒激光直写技术直接在普通单模光纤中刻写的。FBG和LPG是并联关系,因此很大程度地缩小了传感器的长度。外界的温度和折射率的变化会引起FBG和LPG的谐振峰波长位置发生变化,据此对该集成传感器进行温度和折射率测量。实验结果表明:FBG谐振峰对折射率和温度的灵敏度分别为0 nm/RIU和12.98 pm/℃,而LPG在1 555 nm附近谐振峰对折射率和温度的灵敏度为196.46 nm/RIU和10.93 pm/℃。因此,根据双参数传感矩阵,该传感器可以对温度和外界折射率进行同时传感。  相似文献

近年来,光纤布拉格光栅传感器与全分布式光纤传感器的融合技术受到了广泛关注,然而光纤布拉格光栅与布里渊信号之间的耦合特性鲜有报道。本文研究了光栅类型、波长、反射率及光纤的光致折射率对受激布里渊信号的影响规律,并探讨了空间分辨率对光纤布拉格光栅定位功能的影响。实验结果表明,在布里渊光时域分析系统中,光纤布拉格光栅处有尖锐的反射峰,而啁啾光栅、长周期光栅及光致折射率变化的光纤处均未出现尖锐的反射峰;光纤布拉格光栅反射率与受激布里渊散射功率谱无关;当光纤布拉格光栅的波长接近1 550 nm时,对受激布里渊频移测量的影响最大;在8 m的长度范围内,光纤布拉格光栅的定位误差约为4 cm,并且与空间分辨率无关。  相似文献

分析了光纤Bragg光栅的传感原理,将光纤光栅置于细钢管通过一种耐高温胶粘结细钢管两端使光纤光栅在高温下不脱落,并通过细钢管上的中间螺纹给光纤光栅施加预应力,使光纤光栅在温度变化过程中一直保持张紧状态,保证传感器有很好的重复性和良好的线性.实验结果表明:该FBG光纤光栅温度传感器灵敏度为0.0252 nm/℃,有良好的重复性和线性,温度测量范围达200℃以上,可应用在高温环境测量温度的变化.  相似文献

选用热膨胀系数较大的聚合物和某种偶联材料,采用特殊工艺用其对裸光纤光栅进行封装,消除了封装过程中所带来的光纤光栅啁啾现象,极大地改善了光纤光栅反射波的波形,提高了封装测试过程的重复性,为波长解调解决了一大难题.在30.6℃~120℃范围内,测量过程中波形很好并几乎不变,温度灵敏度为0.1173 nm/℃,温度分辨率为<0.43℃,比裸光纤光栅增加了11倍;平均灵敏度增敏倍数γ′=10.34,与理论计算灵敏度增敏倍数γ=10.76符合得比较好.聚合物封装光纤光栅的温度响应曲线具有很好的线性.  相似文献

报道了利用反射谱带宽调制和光强差分探测技术实现单一光纤光栅温变无补偿位移精确测量的新方法。设计了一种结构新颖的曲臂梁位移传感装置,结合光波导理论与材料力学原理分析了光纤光栅在高斯应变作用下光栅反射谱侧向梯度展宽的成因,理论推导了特殊结构梁在外力作用下光栅反射谱带宽/反射光强与压力之间的响应关系。光栅反射谱侧向梯度展宽的同时反射光强线性增加,利用光强差分检测方法消除光源出光抖动的影响,提高了位移测量精度。基于带宽调制的光纤光栅位移传感方法免受温度变化的影响,在-10℃~80℃的温度变化范围内,测量误差小于1.2%,实现了单光纤光栅温变无补偿位移测量。  相似文献

提出了一种提高长距离光纤布喇格光栅信噪比以进行准分布测量的新方法.该方法基于掺铒光纤/喇曼混合放大的光纤激光器结构,掺铒光纤和滤波器构成的环形结构产生激光作为光源,喇曼光纤放大器对布喇格光栅信号进行低噪音的双向放大,置于远处的掺铒光纤利用剩余的泵浦功率产生自发辐射光和放大传感信号,为远处掺铒光纤之后的布喇格光栅传感器提供信号光以及补偿由于长距离传输造成的光纤损耗.实验显示,与使用宽带光源的传感方式相比,系统的性能得到显著提高,仅使用小功率泵浦,分布在50 km光纤上的FBG均获得了超过58 dB的优良信噪比.  相似文献

A fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor head, using a pressure coupling mechanism, was designed for broadband frequency response and structural strain-free characteristic. The pressure-coupled sensor heads were connected to a simultaneous multipoint acoustic sensing system based on a tunable laser. An intelligent lasing wavelength stabilization algorithm capable of identifying the direction of spectrum movement, the wavelength shifting speed, and a fiber bending event was developed so that the simultaneous multipoint acoustic sensing system could be used in environments with rapid temperature variations. The lasing wavelength feedback control algorithm updated the lasing wavelength into the steep slope of the FBG spectrum even under conditions of rapid temperature change. The averaging lasing wavelength updating time was only 21 s because the system can decide a minimal size in scan window by finding the FBG spectrum shifting speed and direction in real time. The system was able to update the lasing wavelength which missed the steep slope of the FBG spectrum under maximum temperature variation rates 0.3014 and −0.3246 °C/s. The proposed system detected simultaneous impact waves at multiple points under conditions of rapid temperature change and change in dynamic strain.  相似文献

研究了利用调频连续波(FMCW)技术对分布式光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)复用系统进行寻址的基本原理;仿真分析了FBG传感器复用距离是系统最小分辨距离的整数倍或非整数倍时,对频谱信号的影响;搭建了基于FMCW的FBG复用系统实验平台,当传感距离1000m时,分别验证了不同扫描周期与复用系统差频信号的线性关系,及不同扫频范围与系统差频信号的线性关系。实验结果表明:FBG复用距离是系统最小分辨距离整数倍时,在测量距离1100 m范围内,系统测量最大误差为243 Hz,最大相对误差小于5%,可以实现FBG传感器的地址查询功能。  相似文献

针对飞行器机载环境多参量综合测试需求,研究了一种基于反射光谱特征辨识的光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)气压与温度集成监测方法,给出了基于膜片式结构的双参量传感机理及其理论模型。采用基于耦合模理论的OptiGrating软件,得到不同气压与温度条件下光纤布拉格光栅传感器仿真反射光谱。在此基础上,借助弹塑性和恢复性能优良的平膜片感压机构,构建了膜片式双光纤气压/温度集成监测模型。研究表明,恒温条件下应变传感光纤光栅反射光谱随气压增加而逐渐向短波方向偏移,其中心波长灵敏度约为0.803 0 nm·MPa-1,且反射谱主峰及其旁瓣峰值均随气压变化呈现良好线性关系;当气压恒定而温度变化时,处于仅感温不受力状态的温度传感光纤光栅反射光谱中心波长灵敏度约为9.39 pm·℃-1;当气压与温度交叉变化时,能够实现对变温条件下的微小气压变化实时监测。传感光纤光栅受非均匀应变效应反射光谱存在一定啁啾现象,其反射光谱旁瓣峰值波长随环境温度、气压变化均会发生偏移,具有良好线性关系,且在不同气压下反射光谱对应的同一阶数旁瓣峰值幅度相等。该研究能够为航空航天器系统多物理参量在线综合测试提供有益帮助。  相似文献

Many theoretical and experimental studies have been developed to characterize the spectral response of an optical fiber Bragg grating (FBG) in axial strain fields in recent years. However, comparatively few works were devoted to the evolution of the spectrum when a FBG is subjected to non-uniform transverse load. In this paper, the effects of distributed birefringence on FBG under non-uniform transverse load are analyzed and a numerical simulation based on the piecewise-uniform approach is also discussed to simulate the responses of FBG under some typical non-uniform transverse strain fields. Experiment was carried out using different loads applied at different locations of the FBG. Good agreements between experimental results and numerical simulations have been obtained.  相似文献

基于光纤Bragg光栅(FBG)反射复振幅相移对FBG法布里-珀罗腔透射谱的影响,分析了传统耦合模理论计算均匀FBG反射复振幅相移产生误差的原因.引入折射率分布初始相位参数描述FBG折射率分布纵向的微小偏移,用真实的反透射系数代替简明形式的反透射系数,对传统耦合模理论进行了修正,增加了与折射率分布初始相位参数有关而与波长无关的相位因子.在此基础上进一步对计算非均匀FBG的传输矩阵法的相位进行了修正.修正后的快速计算结果用于FBG法布里-珀罗腔透射谱的计算,可反映折射率分布初始相位参数对透射峰波长位置的影响,与Rouard 算法及实验值均有较好的一致性. 关键词: 光纤Bragg 光栅 法布里-珀罗腔 耦合模理论  相似文献

A new and efficient technique for fabrication of bandwidth controllable π–phase-shifted fiber Bragg grating (FBG) based on moiré grating using a uniform phase mask is demonstrated. The feasibility of writing a moiré grating into an ordinary SMF-28 fiber using stretching and double exposure by ultraviolet fringe is reported. We analyzed the relation between the initial differentia of phase of two exposures and the transmission spectrum of phase-shifted FBG. Moreover, we present a novel method to control the initial differentia of phase of two exposures. Using this technique, two kinds of resonant filters with a 3-dB line-width of 0.01 nm centered at 1553.79 nm and of 0.5 nm centered at 1554.57 nm respectively were fabricated with same uniform phase mask.  相似文献

A wavelength readout for sensors is presented by a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) with triangular spectrum. The synthesis and fabrication of the triangular FBG is described. Experimental results showed that the wavelength readout device has advantages of high sensitivity, immunity from the light source power fluctuations, the uneven power distributions of source spectrum and micro-bend attenuation of the sensing FBG. Measurement resolution of 1.5 με under the condition of 10% fluctuation of the light source power was obtained for a FBG strain sensor.  相似文献

比较了光纤布拉格光栅法布里一珀罗腔的极限法、平衡法及传输矩阵法3种算法,证明了它们是一致的,指出了光纤布拉格光栅复振幅传输矩阵的相移特性对法布里一珀罗腔透射率的影响.对计算任意折射率调制的光纤布拉格光栅的Rouard算法进行了改进,在分层方法中考虑了折射率分布初始相位的影响,获得了更为准确的反射复振幅相位特性,将该结果应用于计算光纤布拉格光栅法布里一珀罗腔,得到了光纤布拉格光栅法布里一珀罗腔具有多峰结构的透射谱,并经过实验验证了该理论的正确性.  相似文献

A new type of optical fiber hydrophone is constructed with a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) based on the intensity modulation of laser light in an FBG under the influence of sound pressure. The FBG hydrophone shows linearity, with dynamic range about 70 dB. It can measure amplitude and phase of an acoustic field in real time, and operates in a wide range of acoustic frequency, at least from 1 kHz to 3 MHz. No signal distortion is observed in the detected signal. Because of the simplicity in its operating principle and geometry, an FBG hydrophone is expected to be an acoustic sensor of high practicality compared to a conventional optical fiber hydrophone.  相似文献
