提出加速迭代收敛的新思想,构造出一类加权迭代格式.通过选取最优加权因子使得该迭代格式具有较小的渐近误差常数,且至少具有原有迭代格式的收敛阶,数值例子表明该方法具有较快的收敛速度.  相似文献

We study the insulated conductivity problem with inclusions embedded in a bounded domain in R~n. When the distance of inclusions, denoted by ε, goes to 0, the gradient of solutions may blow up. When two inclusions are strictly convex, it was known that an upper bound of the blow-up rate is of order ε~(-1/2) for n = 2, and is of order ε~(-1/2+β)for some β 0 when dimension n ≥ 3. In this paper, we generalize the above results for insulators with flatter boundaries near touching points.  相似文献

We make a further advance concerning the maximum principle for second-order elliptic operators. We investigate in particular a geometric condition, first considered by Berestycki Nirenberg Varadhan, that seems to be natural in view of the application of the boundary weak Harnack inequality, on which our argument is based. Setting it free from some technical assumptions, apparently needed in earlier papers, we significantly enlarge the class of unbounded domains where the maximum principle holds, compatibly with the first-order term.  相似文献

Laguerre dual-Petrov-Galerkin spectral methods and Hermite Galerkin spectral methods for solving odd-order differential equations in unbounded domains are proposed. Some Sobolev bi-orthogonal basis functions are constructed which lead to the diagonalization of discrete systems. An integral maximum principle is developed for a class of nonlinear systems containing time delays in state and control variables. Its proof is based on the theory of quasiconvex families of functions, originally developed by Gamkrelidze and extended by Banks. This result is used to obtain a pointwise principle of the Pontryagin type.The authors wish to acknowledge Professor J. M. Blatt for suggesting this problem. Unlike the familiar problems for mixed-type equations, we pose a boundary value problem for the Lavrent'ev–Bitsadze equation in domains with unbounded multiply connected hyperbolicity subdomains. The starting point of the analysis in this paper is the following situation: "In a bounded domain in 2, let a finite set of points be given. A triangulation of that domain has to be found, whose vertices are the given points and which is `suitable' for the linear conforming Finite Element Method (FEM)." The result of this paper is that for the discrete Poisson equation and under some weak additional assumptions, only the use of Delaunay triangulations preserves the maximum principle.  相似文献

We propose a result of local existence and uniqueness of a mild solution to the one‐dimensional Vlasov–Poisson system. We establish the result for an initial condition lying in the space W1,1(?2), then we extend it to initial conditions lying in the space BV(?2), without any assumption of continuity, boundedness or compact support. In this paper, a Cauchy problem for the Laplace equation is investigated. Based on the fundamental solution to the elliptic equation, we propose to solve this problem by the truncation method, which generates well-posed problem. Then the well posedness of the proposed regularizing problem and convergence property of the regularizing solution to the exact one are proved. Error estimates for this method are provided together with a selection rule for the regularization parameter. The numerical results show that our proposed numerical methods work effectively. This work extends to earlier results in Qian et al. (2008) [14] and Hao et al. (2009) [5].  相似文献

We consider the null controllability problem for the semilinear heat equation with nonlinearities involving gradient terms in an unbounded domain of N with Dirichlet boundary conditions. The control is assumed to be distributed along a subdomain such that the uncontrolled region \ is bounded. Using Carleman inequalities, we prove first the null controllability of the linearized equation. Then, by a fixed-point method, we obtain the main result for the semilinear case. This result asserts that, when the nonlinearity is C1 and globally Lipschitz, the system is null controllable.  相似文献

We prove the Kuhn-Tucker sufficient optimality condition, the Wolfe duality, and a modified Mond-Weir duality for vector optimization problems involving various types of invex-convexlike functions. The class of such functins contains many known generalized convex functions. As applications, we demonstrate that, under invex-convexlikeness assumptions, the Pontryagin maximum principle is a sufficient optimality condition for cooperative differential games. The Wolfe duality is established for these games.The author is indebted to the referees and Professor W. In this paper we propose a method for solving the mixed boundary-value problem for the Laplace equation in a connected exterior domain with an arbitrary partition of the boundary. All simple closed curves making up the boundary are divided into three sets. On the elements of the first set the Dirichlet condition is given, on the elements of the second set the third boundary condition is prescribed, and the third set, in turn, is divided into two subsets of simple closed arcs, with the Dirichlet condition prescribed on the elements of one of these subsets and the third boundary condition on the elements of the other subset. The problem is reduced to a uniquely solvable Fredholm equation of the second kind in a Banach space. The third boundary-value problem and the mixed Dirichlet--Neumann problem are particular cases of the problem under study.  相似文献
