Algebraic Properties of Toeplitz Operators with Radial Symbols on the Bergman Space of the Unit Ball

In this paper, we discuss some algebraic properties of Toeplitz operators with radial symbols on the Bergman space of the unit ball in . We first determine when the product of two Toeplitz operators with radial symbols is a Toeplitz operator. Next, we investigate the zero-product problem for several Toeplitz operators with radial symbols. Also, the corresponding commuting problem of Toeplitz operators whose symbols are of the form is studied, where and φ is a radial function. Little Hankel Operators on the Weighted Bergman Space of the Unit Ball

In this paper we mainly consider little Hankel operators with squareintegrable symbols on the weighted Bergman spaces of the unit ball.We obtain that Schatten class of little Hankel operators is equivalent to Schatten class of positive Toeplitz operators under the conditions that SMO（f） ∈ L p/2 （B n,dλ） and 2 ≤ p ∞,which is very important to research the relation between Toeplitz operators and little Hankel operators.     

Eigenvalue Characterization of Radial Operators on Weighted Bergman Spaces Over the Unit Ball

We study the so-called radial operators, and in particular radial Toeplitz operators, acting on the standard weighted Bergman space on the unit ball in ${\mathbb{C}^n}$ . They turn out to be diagonal with respect to the standard monomial basis, and the elements of their eigenvalue sequences depend only on the length of multi-indexes enumerating basis elements. We explicitly characterize the eigenvalue sequences of radial Toeplitz operators by giving a solution for the weighted extension of the classical Hausdorff moment problem, and show that the norm closure of the set of all radial Toeplitz operators with bounded measurable radial symbols coincides with the C*-algebra generated by these Toeplitz operators and is isomorphic and isometric to the C*-algebra of sequences that slowly oscillate in the sense of Schmidt.     

Schatten Class Hankel Operators on the Harmonic Bergman Space of the Unit Ball

We give a necessary and sufficient condition for Hankel operators H_f on the harmonic Bergman space of the unit ball to be in the Schatten p-class for 2 ≤ p < ∞. A special case when symbol f is a harmonic function is also considered.

Numerical Ranges of Radial Toeplitz Operators on Bergman Space

A Toeplitz operator T_fT_\phi with symbol f\phi in L^￥(\mathbbD)L^{\infty}({\mathbb{D}}) on the Bergman space A²(\mathbbD)A^{2}({\mathbb{D}}), where \mathbbD\mathbb{D} denotes the open unit disc, is radial if f(z) = f(|z|)\phi(z) = \phi(|z|) a.e. on \mathbbD\mathbb{D}. In this paper, we consider the numerical ranges of such operators. It is shown that all finite line segments, convex hulls of analytic images of \mathbbD\mathbb{D} and closed convex polygonal regions in the plane are the numerical ranges of radial Toeplitz operators. On the other hand, Toeplitz operators T_fT_\phi with f\phi harmonic on \mathbbD\mathbb{D} and continuous on [`(\mathbbD)]{\overline{\mathbb{D}}} and radial Toeplitz operators are convexoid, but certain compact quasinilpotent Toeplitz operators are not.     

Riemann-Stieltjes Operators on Weighted Bloch and Bergman Spaces of the Unit Ball

Riemann–Stieltjes integrals are considered as linear operatorson weighted Bloch and Bergman spaces of the open unit ball inseveral complex variables. For weighted Bloch spaces, boundedness,compactness and weak compactness of Riemann–Stieltjesoperators are characterized by means of certain growth propertiesof holomorphic symbols. For weighted Bergman spaces, some criteriaare given for Riemann–Stieltjes operators with holomorphicsymbols to be bounded, compact and of Schatten–von Neumann'sideal.

Berezin Transform, Mellin Transform and Toeplitz Operators

We consider functions of the form f₁[`(g)]<sub>1</sub>+h{f_1\bar g_1+h} in the range of the Berezin transform B, where f <sub>1</sub> and g <sub>1</sub> are holomorphic on the unit disk \mathbb D{\mathbb D}, and h is either harmonic or of the form f<sub>2</sub>[`(g)]₂{f_2\bar g_2} for some holomorphic functions f ₂ and g ₂ on \mathbb D{\mathbb D}. First, by using the Mellin transform, we complement Ahern’s Theorem (Ahern in J Funct Anal 215:206–216, 2004) by proving that if u ? L¹{u\in L^1} and B(u) is harmonic, then u is harmonic. Secondly, we extend Ahern’s Theorem when h is harmonic, and give very precise relations between f ₁ and f ₂, g ₁ and g ₂ when h=f₂[`(g)]₂{h=f_2\bar g_2} and g ₂(z) = z ⁿ with n ≥ 1. Finally, some applications of our results to the theory of Toeplitz operators are discussed.     

Compact Operators on the Bergman Spaces of the Unit Ball and the Polydisk in C^n

Let Ω be the unit ban or the polydisk of C^n and La^2 (Ω) the Bergman space. In this paper we prove that if S is a finite sum of finite products of Toeplitz operators on La^2 (Ω), then S is compact if and only if the Berezin transform S↑-(z) of S tends to zero as z→эΩ.

We consider the question for what kind of square integrable holomorphic functions f,g on the unit ball the densely defined products TfTg-are invertible and Fredholm on the weighted Bergman space of the unit ball.We furthermore obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for bounded Haplitz products HfTg-,where f∈L2(Bn,dvα) and g is a square integrable holomorphic function.
