Norm equalities and inequalities for operator matrices

Several norm equalities and inequalities for operator matrices are proved in this paper. These results, which depend on the structure of circulant and skew circulant operator matrices, include pinching type inequalities for weakly unitarily invariant norms.     

Operator inequalities and reverse inequalities related to the Kittaneh–Manasrah inequalities

This work is concerned with exploring more refinement forms of the Young inequalities and the Kittaneh–Manasrah inequalities. We deduce the Operator version inequalities and reverse version inequalities related to the Kittaneh–Manasrah inequalities.     

Self-adaptive methods for mixed quasi-variational inequalities

It is well known that the variational inequalities involving the nonlinear term φ are equivalent to the fixed-point problems and the resolvent equations. In this paper, we use these alternative equivalent formulations to suggest and analyze some new self-adaptive iterative methods for solving mixed quasi-variational inequalities. Our results can be viewed as significant extensions of the previously known results for mixed quasi-variational inequalities. An example is given to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method.     

Operator-norm inequalities and interpolated trace inequalities

In this article, we investigate some operator-norm inequalities related to some conjectures posed by Hayajneh and Kittaneh that are related to questions of Bourin regarding a special type of inequalities referred to as subadditivity inequalities. While some inequalities are meant to answer these conjectures, other inequalities present reverse-type inequalities for these conjectures. Then, we present some new trace inequalities related to Heinz means inequality and use these inequalities to prove some variants of the aforementioned conjectures.     

A Mann type iterative scheme for variational inequalities in noncompact subsets of Banach spaces

In this paper, we study the existence of solutions and approximation of the solutions by using a Mann type iterative scheme for variational inequalities in noncompact subsets of Banach spaces. The results presented in this paper generalize the corresponding results of J. Li [J. Li, On the existence of solutions of variational inequalities in Banach spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 295 (2004) 115-126].     

Refinements of the Heinz operator inequalities

In this article, we study the Heinz inequalities for two positive operators. We refine the ordering relations among the Heinz means with different parameters and obtain some improvements of the Heinz operator inequalities.

Inequalities for Submarkovian Operators and Submarkovian Semigroups

We present a method of deriving inequalities for submarkovian operators and sub‐markovian semigroups. Many famous inequalities involved in the study of “Dirichlet Forms” are rederived in a simultaneous way.     

Bohr Inequality for Multiple Op erators

An absolute value equation is established for linear combinations of two operators. When the parameters take special values, the parallelogram law of operator type is given. In addition, the operator equation in literature [3] and its equivalent deformation are obtained. Based on the equivalent deformation of the operator equation and using the properties of conjugate number as well as the operator, an absolute value identity of multiple operators is given by means of mathematical induction. As Corollaries, Bohr inequalities are extended to multiple operators and some related inequalities are reduced to, such as inequalities in [2] and [3].     

Commutator Inequalities for the Hilbert-Schmidt Norm

Two types of commutator inequalities for the Hilbert-Schmidt norm are established. The first type of these inequalities is related to a classical inequality of Clarkson, and the second type is related to the unitary approximation of positive and invertible operators.

Weighted norm inequalities for pseudo-pseudodifferential operators defined by amplitudes

We prove weighted norm inequalities for pseudodifferential operators with amplitudes which are only measurable in the spatial variables. The result is sharp, even for smooth amplitudes. Nevertheless, in the case when the amplitude contains the oscillatory factor ξ?ei|ξ|^1−ρ, the result can be substantially improved. We extend the Lp-boundedness of pseudo-pseudodifferential operators to certain weights. End-point results are obtained when the amplitude is either smooth or satisfies a homogeneity condition in the frequency variable. Our weighted norm inequalities also yield the boundedness of commutators of these pseudodifferential operators with functions of bounded mean oscillation.     

WEAK TYPE INEQUALITIES FOR FRACTIONAL INTEGRAL OPERATORS ON GENERALIZED NON-HOMOGENEOUS MORREY SPACES

We obtain weak type (1,q) inequalities for fractional integral operators on generalized non-homogeneous Morrey spaces.The proofs use some properties of maximal operators.Our results are closely related to the strong type inequalities in [13,14,15].

本文对Bernstein算子证明了其强逆不等式,这些不等式曾被Ditzian,Ivanov,Totik,李松等人用不同的方法得到过,但其结果是通常的估计(λ=1),古典的结果(λ=0)没有包含,本文引入κ-泛函K_λ~α(f,t~2)(0≤λ≤1,0<α<2),将已有结果推广到0≤λ≤1的情形。     

条件仿积算子的有界性及其应用

研究了条件仿积算子在部分鞅空间上的有界性.利用鞅的分解得出了一些条件仿积算子的强型和弱型不等式,并给出了部分不等式在条件均方算子上的应用.     

Inequalities of Reid type and Furuta

Two of the most useful inequality formulas for bounded linear operators on a Hilbert space are the Löwner-Heinz and Reid's inequalities. The first inequality was generalized by Furuta (so called the Furuta inequality in the literature). We shall generalize the second one and obtain its related results. It is shown that these two generalized fundamental inequalities are all equivalent to one another.

     

Variational inequalities for monotone operators in nonreflexive Banach spaces

The purpose of this paper is to study the existence problem of solutions and perturbation problem for some kind of variational inequalities with monotone operators in nonreflexive Banach spaces, and to obtain some results.     

THE MINIMAL OPERATOR AND WEIGHTED INEQUALITIES FOR MARTINGALES

In this article the authors introduce the minimal operator on martingale spaces, discuss some one-weight and two-weight inequalities for the minimal operator and characterize the conditions which make the inequalities hold.     

A self-adaptive method for solving general mixed variational inequalities

The general mixed variational inequality containing a nonlinear term φ is a useful and an important generalization of variational inequalities. The projection method cannot be applied to solve this problem due to the presence of the nonlinear term. To overcome this disadvantage, Noor [M.A. Noor, Pseudomonotone general mixed variational inequalities, Appl. Math. Comput. 141 (2003) 529-540] used the resolvent equations technique to suggest and analyze an iterative method for solving general mixed variational inequalities. In this paper, we present a new self-adaptive iterative method which can be viewed as a refinement and improvement of the method of Noor. Global convergence of the new method is proved under the same assumptions as Noor's method. Some preliminary computational results are given.     

Projection methods for nonconvex variational inequalities

In this paper, we introduce and consider a new class of variational inequalities, which is called the nonconvex variational inequalities. We establish the equivalence between the nonconvex variational inequalities and the fixed-point problems using the projection technique. This equivalent formulation is used to discuss the existence of a solution of the nonconvex variational inequalities. We also use this equivalent alternative formulation to suggest and analyze a new iterative method for solving the nonconvex variational inequalities. We also discuss the convergence of the iterative method under suitable conditions. Our method of proof is very simple as compared with other techniques.
