The copper(II) complexes [Cu2(phen)2(HL1)2] (ClO4)2 (1) and [Cu2(phen)2(HL2)2] (ClO4)2 (2) synthesized from two potentially tridentate ligands N-(2-hydroxybenzyl) propanolamine (H2L1) and N-(5-methyl-2-hydroxybenzyl) propanolamine (H2L2) have centrosymmetric bis(μ2-phenoxo)-bridged dicopper(II) structures. Variable temperature magnetic measurements have revealed the existence of relatively weak antiferromagnetic interactions (1: 2J=−212.5, 2: 2J=−337.0 cm−1) with respect to the bridging angles (1: θ=101.47(18)°, 2: θ=102.79(12)°). The results suggest that the distortion index of the Cu(II) atoms (1: τ=0.73, 2: τ=0.53) may be the major factor governing the spin coupling between the copper(II) centers of these diphenoxo-bridged binuclear complexes. The coordination moieties of complex 1 are connected into a 1D linear structure via intermolecular hydrogen bonds between alkoxyl, amine, and perchlorate groups.  相似文献

Two new polynuclear complexes [Ni6(amox)6(mu6-O)(mu3-OH)2](Cl2).6H2O and [Cu3(amox)3(mu3-OH)(mu3-Cl)](ClO4).4H2O (amox- = anion of 4-amino-4-methyl-2-pentanone oxime) have been synthesized and characterized structurally and magnetically. The Ni(II) complex contains a novel Chinese-lantern-like Ni6 cage centered by an oxo ion. It contains the nearest octahedral Ni(II)...Ni(II) separation (<2.8 A) and exhibits strong antiferromagnetic properties. The Cu(II) complex has a cyclic trinuclear copper(II) core bridged by both mu3-OH(-) and mu3-Cl(-) ions. The magnetic susceptibilities of both antiferromagnetic complexes were fitted by using approximate models.  相似文献

Three copper(II)-rhenium(IV) bimetallic complexes of formula [ReCl(4)(mu-ox)Cu(phen)(2)] (1), [ReCl(4)(mu-ox)Cu(phen)(2)].CH(3)CN (2), and [ReCl(4)(mu-ox)Cu(terpy) (H(2)O)][ReCl(4)(mu-ox)Cu(terpy)(CH(3)CN)] (3) (ox = oxalate anion, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, and terpy = 2,2':6,2"- terpyridine) have been synthesized and their crystal structures determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P(-1), with a = 9.776(2), b = 11.744(3), c = 14.183(3) A, alpha =102.09(2) degrees, beta = 109.42(2) degrees, gamma = 107.11(2) degrees, and Z = 2, whereas 2 and 3 crystallize in the monoclinic system, space groups P2(1)/n and P2(1)/c, respectively, with a = 12.837(3), b = 17.761(4), c = 12.914(3) A, beta = 91.32(2) degrees, and Z = 4 for 2, and a = 8.930(2), b = 18.543(4), c = 27.503(6) A, beta = 94.67(2) degrees, and Z = 4 for 3. The structures of 1 and 2 are made up of neutral [ReCl(4)(mu-ox)Cu(phen)(2)] bimetallic units. Re(IV) and Cu(II) metal ions exhibit distorted octahedral coordination geometries, being bridged by a bis(bidentate) oxalato ligand. The presence of acetonitrile molecules of crystallization in 2 causes a somewhat greater separation between the bimetallic complexes and a different packing of these units in the crystal structure with respect to 1. The copper-rhenium separation across oxalato is 5.628(2) in 1 and 5.649(3) A in 2. The structure of 3 is made up of two different and neutral bimetallic units, [ReCl(4)(mu-ox)Cu(terpy)(H(2)O)] and [ReCl(4)(mu-ox)Cu(terpy)(CH(3)CN)]. In the first one, the oxalate group behaves as a bis(bidentate) ligand occupying one equatorial and one axial position in the elongated octahedral environment of Cu(II). The water molecule is axially coordinated. In the second one, the oxalate group behaves as a bidentate/monodentate ligand occupying the axial position in the square pyramidal environment of Cu(II). The acetonitrile molecule occupies a basal coordination position around the copper atom. These units are arranged in such a way that a chlorine atom of the first unit (Cl(1)) points toward the copper atom (Cu(2))of the second one (3.077(2) A for Cl(1)(.)Cu(2)), forming a tetranuclear species. The copper-rhenium separation across bis(didentate) oxalato is 5.504(3) A, whereas that through bidentate/monodentate oxalato is 5.436(2) A. The magnetic behavior of 2 and 3 has been investigated over the temperature range 1.8-300 K. A very weak and nearly identical antiferromagnetic coupling between Re(IV) and Cu(II) through bis(bidentate) oxalato occurs in 2 (J = -0.90 cm(-1)) and 3 (J = -0.83 cm(-1)); it is ferromagnetic in 3 through both the bidentate-monodentate oxalato (J = +5.60 cm(-1)) and the chloro (J = +0.70 cm(-1)) bridges.  相似文献

Four cyanide-bridged heterometallic complexes {[CuPb(L 1 )][Fe III (bpb)(CN) 2 ]} 2 ·(ClO 4 ) 2 ·2H 2 O·2CH 3 CN (1), {[CuPb(L 1 )] 2 [Fe II (CN) 6 ](H 2 O) 2 }·10H 2 O (2), {[Cu 2 (L 2 )][Fe III (bpb)(CN) 2 ] 2 }·2H 2 O·2CH 3 OH (3) and {[Cu 2 (L 2 )] 3 [Fe III (CN) 6 ] 2 (H 2 O) 2 }·10H 2 O (4) have been synthesized by treating K[Fe III (bpb)(CN) 2 ] [bpb 2-=1,2-bis(pyridine-2-carboxamido)benzenate] and K 3 [Fe III (CN)] 6 with dinuclear compartmental macrocyclic Schiff-base complexes [CuPb(L 1 )] (ClO 4 ) 2 or [Cu 2 (L 2 )]·(ClO 4 ) 2 , in which H 2 L 1 was derived from 2,6-diformyl-4-methyl-phenol, ethylenediamine, and diethylenetriamine in the molar ratio of 2:1:1 and H 2 L 2 from 2,6-diformyl-4-methyl-phenol and propylenediamine in the molar ratio of 1:1. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that compound 1 displays a cyclic hexanuclear heterotrimetallic molecular structure with alternating [FeⅢ (bpb)(CN) 2 ]- and [CuPb(L 1 )] 2+ units. Complex 2 is of a neutral dumb-bell-type pentanuclear molecular configuration consisting of one [Fe(CN)6] 4- anion sandwiched in two [CuPu(L 1 )] 2+ cations, and the pentanuclear moieties are further connected by the hydrogen bonding to give a 2D supramolecular framework. Heterobimetallic complex 3 is a tetranuclear molecule composed of a centrosymmetric [Cu 2 (L2)] 2+ segment and two terminal cyanide-containing blocks [FeⅢ (bpb)(CN)2 ]- . Octanuclear compound 4 is built from two [Fe(CN)6]3- anions sandwiched in the three [Cu 2 L 2 ] 2+ cations. Investigation of their magnetic properties reveals the overall antiferromagnetic behavior in the series of complexes except 2.  相似文献

Four new solvent‐induced Ni(II) complexes with chemical formulae [{NiL(μ2‐OAc)(MeOH)}2Ni]·2MeOH ( 1 ), [{NiL(μ2‐OAc)}2(n‐PrOH)(H2O)Ni]·n‐PrOH ( 2 ), [{NiL(μ2‐OAc)(DMF)}2Ni] ( 3 ) and [{NiL(μ2‐OAc)(DMSO)}2Ni]·2DMSO ( 4 ), (H2L = 4‐Nitro‐4′‐chloro‐2,2′‐[(1,3‐propylene)dioxybis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenol) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, FT‐IR, UV–Vis spectra and X‐ray crystallography. X‐ray crystal structure determinations revealed that each of the Ni(II) complexes 1–4 consists of three Ni(II) atoms, two completely deprotonated (L)2? units, two μ2‐acetate ions and two coordinated solvent molecules (solvents are methanol, n‐propanol, water, N,N‐dimethylformamide and dimethyl sulphoxide, respectively). Although the four complexes 1–4 were synthesized in different solvents, it is worthwhile that the Ni(II) atoms in the four complexes 1–4 adopt hexa–coordinated with slightly distorted octahedral coordination geometries, and the ratios of the ligand H2L to Ni(II) atoms are all 2: 3. The complexes 1–4 possess self‐assembled infinite 1D, 3D, 1D and 2D supramolecular structures via the intermolecular hydrogen bonds, respectively. In addition, fluorescence behaviors were investigated in the complexes 1–4 .  相似文献

Two helical coordination polymeric copper(II) complexes bearing amino acid Schiff bases HL or HL′, which are condensed from 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde with 2-aminobenzoic acid or l-valine, respectively, have been prepared and characterised by X-ray crystallography. In [CuL]n (1) the copper(II) atoms are bridged by syn-anti carboxylate groups giving infinite 1-D right-handed helical chains which are further connected by weak C-H?Cu interactions to build a 2-D network. While in [CuL′]n (2) the carboxylate group acts as a rare monatomic bridge to connect the adjacent copper(II) atoms leading to the formation of a left-handed helical chain. Magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate that 1 exhibits weak ferromagnetic interactions whereas an antiferromagnetic coupling is established for 2. The magnetic behavior can be satisfactorily explained on the basis of the structural data.  相似文献

New binuclear copper complexes of tridentate azomethine ligands with various combinations of N, O, and S donor centers were prepared by various procedures, including template synthesis. The magnetochemical data obtained for the range 2-300 K suggest the occurrence of antiferromagnetic coupling in most of these chelates. The only exception is the complex containing N-tosyl and N-ethyl donor fragments, in which the ferromagnetic exchange is observed.  相似文献

Two copper(II) complexes, [Cu(L)2](ClO4)2] and [Cu(L)(bipy)](ClO4)2, were prepared and characterized by the spectroscopic and analytic methods, where L is N-butylbenzimidazole and bipy is 2,2′-bipyridine. Single crystals of [Cu(L)(bipy)](ClO4)2 suitable for X-ray diffraction study were obtained by slow diffusion of diethyl ether into a DMF solution of the complex and the complex was found to crystallize as [Cu(L)(bipy)](ClO4)2·DMF. The asymmetric unit contains one [Cu(L)(bipy)]2+, two uncoordinated perchlorates, and one DMF solvate. Coordination geometry around Cu(II) is distorted square pyramidal with τ value of 0.31. Thermal properties of the complexes were examined by thermogravimetric analysis, indicating that the complexes are thermally stable to 310?°C. The metal complexes were screened for their in vitro antibacterial and antifungal activities Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus cereus (as Gram(+) bacteria), Escherichia coli, Enterobacter aerogenes, and Klebsiella pneumoniae (as Gram(–) bacteria), and Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Candida utilis, and Candida albicans (as yeasts). The complexes show antibacterial and antifungal activities against bacteria and yeasts.  相似文献

The synthesis, structure, and magnetic properties of two new tetranuclear Cu(II) complexes containing N,N,N',N'-tetraethylpyridine-2,6-dithiocarboxamide (S-dept) of formula [Cu(2)Cl(2)(mu-S-dept)(2)][Cu(2)Cl(4)(mu-Cl)(2)] (1) and [Cu(2)(mu-Cl)(2)(S-dept)(2)][CuCl(3)(EtOH)](2) (2) are reported. Their X-ray crystal structures reveal that the complexes are composed of anionic and cationic dimers, that in both cases contain the metal centers which interact via Coulombic and/or hydrogen bonding interactions. In both cases, the Cu centers in the anionic moieties adopt a slightly distorted tetrahedral geometry whereas for the cationic moieties they adopt a square-pyramidal type of geometry. Magnetic susceptibility data show that compounds 1 and 2 present an overall antiferromagnetic behavior arising from the contribution of both anionic and cationic moieties. For 1, the best fit obtained gave J(1) = -2.62 +/- 0.19 cm(-1), J(2) = -19.54 +/- 0.47 cm(-1), and g(2) = 2.164 +/- 0.004 cm(-1) (R = 8.28 x 10(-5)) whereas for 2 it gave J(1) = 4.48 +/- 2.73 cm(-1), g(1) = 2.20 +/- 0.03, J(2) = -11.26 +/- 2.01 cm(-1), and g(2) = 2.10 +/- 0.03 (R = 1.15 x 10(-4)). The nature of the superexchange pathways in 1 and 2 is discussed on the basis of structural, magnetic, and molecular orbital considerations. Theoretical calculations are performed at the extended Huckel level in order to obtain their molecular orbitals and energies using their crystallographic data.  相似文献

A series of Cu(I) and Cu(II) complexes containing substituted ketiminate ligands was synthesized. Reaction of CuCl2 with 2 equiv. of Li[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)] in toluene generated dark green solid of Cu[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)]2 (1). Similarly, Cu(I) complex, {Cu[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)]Li[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)]}2 (2) was synthesized by reacting 2 equiv. of Li[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)] with CuCl in toluene at room temperature for 12 h. While the reaction of CuCl with Li[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)] in the presence of triphenylphosphine in THF solution at room temperature, a three-coordinated Cu[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)](PPh3) (3) can be isolated in high yield. Replacing the PPh3 of 3 with N-heterocarbene (NHC) generates Cu[OC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Ar)](NHC) (4) in low yield. Complexes 2, 3, and 4 were characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopies and all molecules were structurally characterized by X-ray diffractometry. Two coordination modes of ketiminate ligands were found in the molecular structure of 2, one of which is copper-coordinated terminal ketiminates and the other is lithium-copper-coordinated bridging ketiminates.  相似文献

Five manganese(II) complexes of formulas [Mn(2)(Etmal)(2)(H(2)O)(2)(L)](n) (1-4) and {[Mn(Etmal)(2)(H(2)O)][Mn(H(2)O)(4)]}(n) (5) with H(2)Etmal = ethylmalonic acid (1-5) and L = 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane (bpa) (1), 4,4'-azobispyridine (azpy) (2), 4,4'-bipyridyl (4,4'-bpy) (3), and 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene (bpe) (4) were synthesized and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Their thermal behavior and variable-temperature magnetic properties were also investigated. The structure of the compounds 1-4 consists of corrugated layers of aquamanganese(II) units with intralayer carboxylate-ethylmalonate bridges in the anti-syn (equatorial-equatorial) coordination mode which are linked through bis-monodentate bpa (1), azpy (2), 4,4'-bpy (3), and bpe (4) ligands to build up a three-dimensional (3D) framework. The structure of compound 5 is made up by zigzag chains of manganese(II) ions with a regular alternation of [Mn(H(2)O)(4)](2+) and chiral (either Δ or λ enantiomeric forms) [Mn(Etmal)(2)(H(2)O)](2-) units within each chain. In contrast to the bidentate/bis-monodentate coordination mode of the Etmal ligand in 1-4, it adopts the bidentate/monodentate coordination mode in 5 with the bridging carboxylate-ethylmalonate also exhibiting the anti-syn conformation but connecting one equatorial and an axial position from adjacent metal centers. The manganese-manganese separation through the carboxylate-ethylmalonate bridge in 1-5 vary in the range 5.3167(4)-5.5336(7) ?. These values are much shorter than those across the extended bis-monodentate N-donors in 1-4 with longest/shortest values of 11.682(3) (3)/13.9745(9) ? (4). Compounds 1-5 exhibit an overall antiferromagnetic behavior, where the exchange pathway is provided by the carboxylate-ethylmalonate bridge. Monte Carlo simulations based on the classical spin approach (1-5) were used to successfully reproduce the magnetic data of 1-5.  相似文献

Reaction of in situ generated copper(II)-monosubstituted Keggin polyoxometalates and copper(II)-bipyridine-oxalate complexes in the corresponding alkaline acetate buffer led to the formation of hybrid metal organic-inorganic compounds K(2)[{SiW(11)O(39)Cu(H(2)O)}{Cu(2)(bpy)(2)(H(2)O)(2)(mu-ox)}(2)].14H(2)O (1), K(14)[{SiW(11)O(39)Cu(H(2)O)}{Cu(2)(bpy)(2)(mu-ox)}](2)[SiW(11)O(39)Cu(H(2)O)].55H(2)O (2), (NH(4))(4)[{SiW(11)O(39)Cu(H(2)O)}{Cu(2)(bpy)(2)(mu-ox)}].10H(2)O (3), and Rb(4)[{SiW(11)O(39)Cu(H(2)O)}{Cu(2)(bpy)(2)(mu-ox)}].10H(2)O (4). Their structures have been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The main structural feature of these compounds is the presence of copper(II)-monosubstituted alpha-Keggin polyoxoanions as inorganic building blocks, on which the mu-oxalatodicopper metalorganic blocks are supported. Compound 1contains the discrete hybrid polyanion [{SiW(11)O(39)Cu(H(2)O)}{Cu(2)(bpy)(2)(H(2)O)(2)(mu-ox)}(2)](2)(-), whereas the polymeric hybrid polyanion [{SiW(11)O(39)Cu(H(2)O)}{Cu(2)(bpy)(2)(mu-ox)}(2)](n)(4)(n)(-) gives a monodimensional character to compounds 2-4. Magnetic and EPR results are discussed with respect to the crystal structure of the compounds. DFT calculations on both the [Cu(2)(bpy)(2)(H(2)O)(4)(mu-ox)](2+) cationic complex and the metalorganic blocks have been performed in order to determine the optimized geometry and the magnetic coupling constants, respectively.  相似文献

Two novel nickel(II) dinuclear complexes [Ni2(cyclam)2- (DTA)](ClO4)2 (1) and [Ni2(TAA)2(DTA)] (ClO4)2 (2) (TAA=N(CH2CH2NH2)3 , cyclam = 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane, DTA=dithiooxamide) have been prepared and studied by elemental analyses, i.r. and electronic spectra and magnetic measurements. The magnetic susceptibility temperature dependence was measured over the 77–300K range and the observed data were successfully simulated by an equation based on the spin Hamiltonian operator (H=–2JS1S2) giving the exchange integral J=–23.09cm–1 for (1) and J= –26.0cm–1 for (2).  相似文献

A new pyridylpyrazole-containing tetradentate ligand, namely N,N-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-ylmethyl)aminomethylpyridine (L), and two of its binuclear azido-bridged complexes, [Ni2(L)2(N3)2](ClO4)2·2EtOH (1) and [Cu2(L)2(N3)2](ClO4)2 (2), have been synthesized and characterized by physico-chemical and spectroscopic methods. The crystal structures of both complexes are reported. Each metal atom in the complexes has a MN6 coordination environment with distorted octahedral geometry. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements for complex (1) show typical antiferromagnetic behavior with J value −84.5 ± 1.3 cm−1, whereas complex (2) has no magnetic interactions.  相似文献

Two hexanuclear zinc(II) complexes, [Zn6(L1)22-OH)22-CH3COO)8] · CH3CN (1 · CH3CN) and [Zn6(L2)22-OH)22-CH3COO)8] · 4CH3CN (2 · 4CH3CN), where HL1 = 4-methyl-2,6-bis(cyclohexylmethyliminomethyl)-phenol and HL2 = 4-methyl-2,6-bis(1-naphthalylmethyliminomethyl)-phenol, have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR and fluorescence spectroscopic methods, and by X-ray diffraction analysis. In the asymmetric unit of complex 1, two of the three zinc atoms have pentacoordinate geometries and the other is tetrahedrally coordinated, whereas the three distinct Zn atoms in complex 2 adopt three different coordination environments, namely distorted octahedral, trigonal bipyramidal and tetrahedral. The fluorescence properties of the ligands and complexes have been investigated.  相似文献

Three new Ru(II) complexes, [Ru(dmb)2(ipad)](ClO4)2 (dmb = 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine, ipad = 2-(anthracene-9,10-dione-2-yl) imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline, 1), [Ru(dmp)2(ipad)](ClO4)2 (dmp = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, 2), and [Ru(dip)2(ipad)](ClO4)2 (dip = 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline, 3), have been synthesized and characterized. The three Ru(II) complexes intercalate with the base pairs of DNA. The in vitro antiproliferative activities and apoptosis-inducing characteristics of these complexes were investigated. The complexes exhibited cytotoxicity against various human cancer cell lines. BEL-7402 cells displayed the highest sensitivity to 1, accounted for by the greatest cellular uptake. Complex 1 was shown to accumulate preferentially in the nuclei of BEL-7402 cells and cause DNA damage and induce apoptosis, which involved cell cycle arrest and reactive oxygen species generation.  相似文献

Six new binuclear nickel (II) complexes have been synth-esized and characterized, namely: [Ni2(4X-TP-HA)(L)4](ClO4)2 [L = 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), 5-nitro-1,10-phenanthroline (NO2-phen) or 2,2-bipyridyl (bipy)], where 4X-TPHA is the tetrabromoterephthalate dianion (X = Br) or the tetraiodoterephthalate dianion (X = I). Based on i.r. spectra, elemental analyses and conductivity measurements, these complexes are proposed to have terephthalato-bridged structures containing two NiII ions, each in a distorted octahedral environment. The temperature dependences of the magnetic susceptibility for [Ni2(4Br-TPHA)(phen)4]- (ClO4)2·H2O (1) and [Ni2(4I-TPHA)(phen)4]-(ClO4)2·- 2H2O (4) were measured over the 4–300K range and the observed data indicate weak antiferromagnetic spin exchange interaction between the metal ions.  相似文献

The rational design, synthesis and characterization of five phosphorescent platinum complexes [(C^N)Pt(acac)] [Hacac = acetylacetone, HC^N = 1-methyl-2-(4-fluorophenyl)benzoimidazole (H-FMBI), 1-methyl-2-phenylbenzoimidazole (H-MBI), 1,2-diphenyl-benzoimidazole (H-PBI), 1-(4-(3,6-di-t-butylcarbazol-9-yl))phenyl-2-phenylbenzoimidazole (t-BuCz-H-PBI), and 1-(4-(3,6-di-(3,6-di-t-butyl-carbazol-9-yl))carbazol-9-yl)phenyl-2-phenylbenzoimidazole (t-BuCzCz-H-PBI)] have been discussed. The crystal structure of (MBI)Pt(acac) shows a nearly ideal square planar geometry around Pt atom and the weak intermolecular interactions with π-π spacing of 3.55 Å. All of the complexes emit green phosphorescence from the metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (MLCT) excited state with high quantum efficiency (0.08-0.17) at room temperature. A multilayer organic light-emitting diode (OLED) with (MBI)Pt(acac) as phosphorescent dopant was fabricated using the method of high-vacuum thermal evaporation, which gives a maximum brightness, luminous and power efficiency of 13 605 cd/m2, 15.1 cd/A and 4.3 lm/W, respectively. In contrast, the comparable performance can be achieved in the solution-processed OLED based on (t-BuCzPBI)Pt(acac) with a peak brightness, luminous and power efficiency of 13 606 cd/m2, 17.5 cd/A and 8.4 lm/W, respectively. The better device efficiency results from the good square plane of central Pt coordination unit and the inhibition of the aggregates due to bulky and rigid t-butylcarbazole dendrons.  相似文献

Four dinuclear cadmium(II) complexes, [Cd2(L1)(μ2-Cl)Cl2] (1), [Cd2(L2)(μ2-Cl)Cl2] (2), [Cd2(L3)(μ2-Cl)Cl2] (3), and [Cd2(L4)3ClO4] (4), where HL1 = 4-methyl-2,6-bis(1-(2-piperidinoethyl)iminomethyl)-phenol, HL2 = 4-methyl-2,6-bis(1-(2-pyrrolidinoethyl)iminomethyl)-phenol, HL3 = 4-methyl-2,6-bis(1-(2-morpholinoethyl)iminomethyl)-phenol and HL4 = 4-methyl-2,6-bis(cyclohexylmethyl)iminomethyl)-phenol, were synthesized. They were characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV–Vis, fluorescence and electronspray ionization mass spectroscopy. Complexes 1 and 4 were also characterized by single crystal X-ray analysis. The cadmiums atoms in 1 are linked by μ2-chloride in a distorted square pyramidal geometry, whereas cadmium atom in 4 is in a distorted octahedral environment. The complexes show emission bands around 500 nm with excitation at 395 nm.  相似文献
