The single-particle potential in infinite nuclear matter is computed as a function of density and energy in a variety of relativistic mean-field models of nuclear matter. A comparison of this potential is made with that computed by Friedman and Pandharipande using the variational method. We also show that the self-consistent mean-field Hartree approximation satisfies the Hugenholtz-van Hove theorem. High-density behavior of the single-particle potential is considered.  相似文献

ZNF804A, a genomewide supported susceptibility gene for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, has been associated with task-independent functional connectivity between the left and right dorsolateral prefrontal cortices. Several lines of evidence have converged on the hypothesis that this effect may be mediated by structural connectivity. We tested this hypothesis using diffusion tensor magnetic resonance imaging in three samples: one German sample of 50 healthy individuals, one Scottish sample of 83 healthy individuals and one Scottish sample of 84 unaffected relatives of bipolar patients. Voxel-based analysis and tract-based spatial statistics did not detect any fractional anisotropy (FA) differences between minor allele carriers and individuals homozygous for the major allele at rs1344706. Similarly, region-of-interest analyses and quantitative tractography of the genu of the corpus callosum revealed no significant FA differences between the genotype groups. Examination of effect sizes and confidence intervals indicated that this negative finding is very unlikely to be due to a lack of statistical power. In summary, despite using various analysis techniques in three different samples, our results were strikingly and consistently negative. These data therefore suggest that it is unlikely that the effects of genetic variation at rs1344706 on functional connectivity are mediated by structural integrity differences in large, long-range white matter fiber connections.  相似文献

We present a general argument which suggests that the Bartels–Lipatov–Vacca Odderon intercept should be equal to one to all orders in the perturbation theory. The argument is based on the validity of the so-called omega-expansion in the high energy limit. It can be further supported by the analogous pattern observed in the case of the anomalous dimensions which is a consequence of the momentum sum rule. In addition, we conjecture that the BFKL kernel should satisfy the transverse momentum sum rule. Finally, it is shown that the higher order kinematical effects do not change the BLV Odderon intercept.  相似文献

We extend a recent chiral approach to nuclear matter of Lutz et al.Phys. Lett. B 474, 7 (2000)) by calculating the underlying (complex-valued) single-particle potential U(p, k f) + iW(p, k f). The potential for a nucleon at the bottom of the Fermi sea, U(0, k f0) = - 20.0 MeV, comes out as much too weakly attractive in this approach. Even more seriously, the total single-particle energy does not rise monotonically with the nucleon momentum p, implying a negative effective nucleon mass at the Fermi surface. Also, the imaginary single-particle potential, W(0, k f0) = 51.1 MeV, is too large. More realistic single-particle properties together with a good nuclear-matter equation of state can be obtained if the short-range contributions of non-pionic origin are treated in mean-field approximation (i.e. if they are not further iterated with 1π-exchange). We also consider the equation of state of pure neutron matter ˉEn(k n) and the asymmetry energy A(k f) in that approach. The downward bending of these quantities above nuclear-matter saturation density seems to be a generic feature of perturbative chiral pion-nucleon dynamics. Large scale ab initio molecular dynamics simulations were performed to investigate how Cu/ultra low-k systems are improved when N is incorporated into the pore-sealing layers. It was found that the high affinity of N to Ta and H gives rise to new phases that prevent H atoms from penetrating the Ta diffusion barrier layer. Consequently, the Ta layer forms organized structures with good barrier performance and electrical conductivity. Furthermore, a continuous ductile film is formed to seal the highly porous polymer dielectrics. Interfacial adhesion between the pore-sealing layer and the dielectrics is also enhanced by inter-diffusion.  相似文献

We treat short-range correlations in nuclear matter, induced by the repulsive core of the nucleon–nucleon potential, within the framework of self-consistent Green's function theory. The effective in-medium interaction sums the ladder diagrams of both the particle–particle and hole–hole type. The demand of self-consistency results in a set of nonlinear equations which must be solved by iteration. We explore the possibility of approximating the single-particle Green's function by a limited number of poles and residues.  相似文献

Particles that are heavy compared to the electroweak scale (M?mW), and that are charged under electroweak SU(2) gauge interactions display universal properties such as a characteristic fine structure in the mass spectrum induced by electroweak symmetry breaking, and an approximately universal cross section for scattering on nuclear targets. The heavy particle effective theory framework is developed to compute these properties. As illustration, the spin independent cross section for low-velocity scattering on a nucleon is evaluated in the limit M?mW, including complete leading-order matching onto quark and gluon operators, renormalization analysis, and systematic treatment of perturbative and hadronic-input uncertainties.  相似文献

We critically discuss the choice of the auxiliary potential U which is introduced in the low density expansion of the mass operator M(k, w). This choice is related to the analytical properties of M(k, w) in the complex w-plane and we take due account of momentum conservation in the intermediate states appearing in the diagrams associated with M(k, w). We also provide a computation of the one-hole line, rearrangement and renormalization contributions to the optical potential, of the hole state spectral function and of the momentum distribution in nuclear matter. We use a real auxiliary potential which is self-consistent up to the order considered here, i.e. which takes into account the rearrangement and the renormalization corrections. Rearrangement is treated rigorously. The dependence of the obtained results on the choice of the nucleon-nucleon interaction, namely the Hamman-Ho Kim one in our calculation, is discussed.  相似文献

Within the relativistic Dirac-Brueckner approach and starting from a one-boson-exchange interaction, the nucleon selfenergy is calculated above the nuclear-matter Fermi sea. The effects of Pauli blocking and energy dispersion are studied. At low energy we see a dominance of the Pauli blocking whereas at nucleon energies up to 250 MeV the dispersive effect still has a very large influence on the single-particle interaction. From the selfenergy a Schrödinger optical potential is deduced, for which the DB results nicely agree with empirical values. The density dependence of this optical potential compares well with earlier calculations.  相似文献

The sterilization of E. coli (ATCC8099) using an atmospheric pressure, air DBD plasma driven by 100 Hz high-voltage power supply was investigated in this paper. The results showed that germicidal efficiency was closely related to the plasma treatment time, the gap spacing, the initial cell density and the surface characters of substrate materials. The germicidal efficiency was 99.999% under the conditions of 5-min plasma treatment, 3-cm gap spacing and on PET films. After plasma exposure for 5 min, the temperature was observed below 43 °C which could not lead to inactivate E. coli. The observation of protein leakage and cell morphology alteration by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques revealed that the etching action on cell membrane by electrons, ions and radicals was primary reason of DBD air plasma sterilization.  相似文献

A study on interface states density distribution and characteristic parameters of the In/SiO2/p-Si (MIS) capacitor has been made. The thickness of the SiO2 film obtained from the measurement of the corrected capacitance in the strong accumulation region for MIS Schottky diodes was 220 Å. The diode parameters from the forward bias I-V characteristics such as ideality factor, series resistance and barrier heights were found to be 1.75, 106-112 Ω and 0.592 eV, respectively. The energy distribution of the interface state density Dit was determined from the forward bias I-V characteristics by taking into account the bias dependence of the effective barrier height. The interface state density obtained using the I-V characteristics had an exponential growth, with bias towards the top of the valance band, from 9.44×1013 eV−1 cm−2 in 0.329-Ev eV to 1.11×1013 eV−1 cm−2 in 0.527-Ev eV at room temperature. Furthermore, the values of interface state density Dit obtained by the Hill-Coleman method from the C-V characteristics range from 52.9×1013 to 1.11×1013 eV−1 cm−2 at a frequency range of 30kHz-1 MHz. These values of Dit and Rs were responsible for the non-ideal behaviour of I-V and C-V characteristics.  相似文献

The use of the Boson Loop Expansion is proposed for investigating the static properties of nuclear matter. We explicitly consider a schematic dynamical model in which nucleons interact with the scalar–isoscalar σ meson. The suggested approximation scheme is examined in detail at the mean field level and at the one- and two-loop orders. The relevant formulas are provided to derive the binding energy per nucleon, the pressure and the compressibility of nuclear matter. Numerical results of the binding energy at the one-loop order are presented for Walecka’s σ-ω model in order to discuss the degree of convergence of the Boson Loop Expansion.  相似文献

Isospin-breaking effects in nuclear matter are studied in the framework of a medium-modified Skyrme model. The proposed effective Lagrangian incorporates both the medium influence of the surrounding nuclear environment on the single nucleon properties and an explicit isospin-breaking effect in the mesonic sector. The approach predicts that the neutron-proton mass difference decreases in isospin-symmetric nuclear matter but by a very small amount only.  相似文献

The spin and spin-isospin symmetry energies of nuclear matter and the spin and isospin dependent terms of the nuclear single-particle potential at the Fermi surface are calculated within the frame of the Landau theory of the normal Fermi liquid from the existing sets of the Landau parameters. The possibility of the relation of these parameters to the experimental energies of certain collective nuclear excited states is pointed out. The results are also applied to the calculation of the symmetry and the spin-spin terms in the low energy nuclear optical model potential.  相似文献
