In this paper, we study an integrable generalization of the associated Camassa–Holm equation. The generalized system is shown to be integrable in the sense of Lax pair and the bilinear Bäcklund transformations are presented through the Bell polynomial technique. Meanwhile, its infinite conservation laws are constructed, and conserved densities and fluxes are given in explicit recursion formulas. Furthermore, a Darboux transformation for the system is derived with the help of the gauge transformation between two Lax pairs. As an application, soliton and periodic wave solutions are given through the Darboux transformation.  相似文献

The Lie-algebraic approach for the dynamic systems associated with a generalization of the Kac-Moody algebras on Riemann surfaces is developed. A technique of solving the inverse scattering problem of operators with spectral parameters on Riemann surfaces is presented. Some equations associated with generalized Kac-Moody algebras are presented. The connection between their hamiltonian structure and deformed Lax representation is discussed as well as its applications to some special perturbations of integrable systems.  相似文献

Two special classes of conserved densities involving arbitrary smooth functions are explicitly formulated for the generalized Riemann equation at arbitrary N. The particular case when N = 2 covers most of the known conserved densities of the equation, and the result is also extended to the famous Gurevich-Zybin, Monge-Ampere and two-component Hunter-Saxton equations by considering certain reductions.  相似文献

Symmetry Analysis and Conservation Laws for the Hunter-Saxton Equation   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
In this paper, the problem of determining the most general Lie point symmetries group and conservation laws of a well known nonlinear hyperbolic PDE in mathematical physics called the Hunter-Saxton equation(HSE) is analyzed.By applying the basic Lie symmetry method for the HSE,the classical Lie point symmetry operators are obtained. Also, the algebraic structure of the Lie algebra of symmetries is discussed and an optimal system of onedimensional subalgebras of the HSE symmetry algebra which creates the preliminary classification of group invariant solutions is constructed.Particularly, the Lie invariants as well as similarity reduced equations corresponding to infinitesimal symmetries are obtained.Mainly, the conservation laws of the HSE are computed via three different methods including Boyer's generalization of Noether's theorem, first homotopy method and second homotopy method.  相似文献

In this paper, a (2+1)-dimensional generalized Bogoyavlensky–Konopelchenko (gBK) equation is investigated, which can be used to describe the interaction of a Riemann wave propagating along y-axis and a long wave propagating along x-axis. The complete integrability of the gBK equation is systematically presented. By employing Bell’s polynomials, a lucid and systematic approach is proposed to systematically study its bilinear formalism, bilinear Bäcklund transformations, Lax pairs, respectively. Furthermore, based on multidimensional Riemann theta functions, the periodic wave solutions and soliton solutions of the gBK equation are derived. Finally, an asymptotic relation between the periodic wave solutions and soliton solutions are strictly established under a certain limit condition.  相似文献

In this paper,the(2+1)-dimensional Hunter-Saxton equation is proposed and studied. It is shown that the(2+1)-dimensional Hunter–Saxton equation can be transformed to the Calogero–Bogoyavlenskii–Schiff equation by reciprocal transformations.Based on the Lax-pair of the Calogero–Bogoyavlenskii–Schiff equation,a non-isospectral Lax-pair of the(2+1)-dimensional Hunter–Saxton equation is derived. In addition, exact singular solutions with a finite number of corners are obtained.Furthermore,the(2+1)-dimensional μ-Hunter–Saxton equation is presented, and its exact peaked traveling wave solutions are derived.  相似文献

The elementary and systematic binary Bell polynomials method is applied to the generalized Nizhnik-Novikov-Veselov (GNNV) equation. The bilinear representation, bilinear Bäcklund transformation, Lax pair and infinite conservation laws of the GNNV equation are obtained directly, without too much trick like Hirota's bilinear method.  相似文献

In this paper, a (3+1)-dimensional generalized Kadomtsev—Petviashvili (GKP) equation is investigated, which can be used to describe many nonlinear phenomena in fluid dynamics and plasma physics. Based on the generalized Bell's polynomials, we succinctly construct the Hirota's bilinear equation to the GKP equation. By virtue of multidimensional Riemann theta functions, a lucid and straightforward way is presented to explicitly construct multiperiodic Riemann theta function periodic waves (quasi-periodic waves) for the (3+1)-dimensional GKP equation. Interestingly, the one-periodic waves are well-known cnoidal waves, which are considered as one-dimensional models of periodic waves. The two-periodic waves are a direct generalization of one-periodic waves, their surface pattern is two-dimensional that they have two independent spatial periods in two independent horizontal directions. Finally, we analyze asymptotic behavior of the multiperiodic periodic waves, and rigorously present the relationships between the periodic waves and soliton solutions by a limiting procedure.  相似文献

In this paper, we construct a new integrable equation which is a generalization of q-Toda equation. Meanwhile its soliton solutions are constructed to show its integrable property. Further the Lax pairs of the generalized q-Toda equation and a whole integrable generalized q-Toda hierarchy are also constructed. To show the integrability, the Bi-Hamiltonian structure and tau symmetry of the generalized q-Toda hierarchy are given and this leads to the tau function.  相似文献

We develop the Riemann?CHilbert (RH) approach to scattering problems in elastic media. The approach is based on the RH method introduced in the 1990s by Fokas (A unified approach to boundary value problems, CBMS-SIAM, 2008) for studying boundary problems for linear and integrable nonlinear PDEs. A suitable Lax pair formulation of the elastodynamic equation is obtained. The integral representations derived from this Lax pair are applied to Rayleigh wave propagation in an elastic half space and quarter space. The latter problem is reduced to the analysis of a certain underdetermined RH problem. We show that the problem can be re-formulated as a well-determined vector Riemann?CHilbert problem with a shift posed on a torus.  相似文献

In the present paper, under investigation is a nonisospectral modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation, which is shown to have two Painlevé branches through the Painlevé analysis. With symbolic computation, two Lax pairs for such an equation are derived by applying the generalized singular manifold method. Furthermore, based on the two obtained Lax pairs, the binary Darboux transformation is constructed and then the N-th-iterated potential transformation formula in the form of Grammian is also presented.  相似文献

It is shown that the two-component Camassa-Holm and Hunter-Saxton systems are geometrically integrable, namely they describe pseudo-spherical surfaces. As a consequence, their infinite number of conservation laws are directly constructed. In addition, a class of nonlocal symmetries depending on the pseudo-potentials are obtained.  相似文献

After extending the usual Lax pair of the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation to a generalized form by using a gauge transformation, an adjoint Lax pair of the KdV equation is introduced. With the help of the spectral functions of the Lax pair and the adjoint Lax pair, a new nonlocal seed symmetry (which is gauge-invariant) is found and then a set of new infinitely many generalized nonlocal symmetries are obtained after establishing a general symmetry theory for an arbitrary nonlinear system.  相似文献

We investigate the extended (2+1)-dimensional shallow water wave equation. The binary Bell polynomials are used to construct bilinear equation, bilinear Bäcklund transformation, Lax pair, and Darboux covariant Lax pair for this equation. Moreover, the infinite conservation laws of this equation are found by using its Lax pair. All conserved densities and fluxes are given with explicit recursion formulas. The N-soliton solutions are also presented by means of the Hirota bilinear method.  相似文献

In this paper, we apply the binary Bell polynomial approach to high-dimensional variable-coefficient nonlinear evolution equations. Taking the generalized (2+1)-dimensional KdV equation with variable coefficients as an illustrative example, the bilinear formulism, the bilinear Bäcklund transformation and the Lax pair are obtained in a quick and natural manner. Moreover, the infinite conservation laws are also derived.  相似文献

The extended fifth-order KdV equation in fluids is investigated in this paper. Based on the concept of pseudopotential, a direct and unifying Riccati-type pseudopotential approach is employed to achieve Lax pair and singularity manifold equation of this equation. Moreover, this equation is classified into three categories: extended Caudrey–Dodd–Gibbon–Sawada–Kotera (CDGSK) equation, extended Lax equation and extended Kaup–Kuperschmidt (KK) equation. The corresponding singularity manifold equations and auto-Bäcklund transformations of these three equations are also obtained. Furthermore, the infinitely many conservation laws of the extended Lax equation are found using its Lax pair. All conserved densities and fluxes are given with explicit recursion formulas.  相似文献

In this paper, the (2+1)-dimensional generalization of shallow water wave equation, which may be used to describe the propagation of ocean waves, is analytically investigated. With the aid of symbolic computation, we prove that the (2+1)-dimensional generalization of shallow water wave equation possesses the Painlevé property under a certain condition, and its Lax pair is constructed by applying the singular manifold method. Based on the obtained Lax representation, the Darboux transformation (DT) is constructed. The first iterated solution, second iterated solution and a special N-soliton solution with an arbitrary function are derived with the resulting DT. Relevant properties are graphically illustrated, which might be helpful to understanding the propagation processes for ocean waves in shallow water.  相似文献

The 2+1 dimensional Caudrey–Dodd–Gibbon–Kotera–Sawada equation is decomposed into systems of integrable ordinary differential equations resorting to the nonlinearization of Lax pairs. The Abel–Jacobi coordinates are introduced to straighten the flows, from which quasi-periodic solutions of the 2+1 dimensional Caudrey–Dodd–Gibbon–Kotera–Sawada equation are obtained in terms of Riemann theta functions.  相似文献

Under investigation in this paper is a generalized variable-coefficient Korteweg-de Vries-modified Korteweg-de Vries equation which describes certain atmospheric blocking phenomenon. Lax pair and infinitely many conservation laws are obtained. With the help of the Hirota method and symbolic computation, the one-, two- and three-soliton solutions are given. Besides, breather and double pole solutions are derived. Propagation characteristics and interactions of breathers and solitons are discussed analytically and graphically. Results also show that the soliton changes its type between depression and elevation periodically. Parabolic-like breather and double pole are depicted. Conditions of the depression and elevation solitons are also given.  相似文献

With the help of a simple Lie algebra, an isospectral Lax pair, whose feature presents decomposition of element (1, 2) into a linear combination in the temporal Lax matrix, is introduced for which a new integrable hierarchy of evolution equations is obtained, whose Hamiltonian structure is also derived from the trace identity in which contains a constant γ to be determined. In the paper, we obtain a general formula for computing the constant γ. The reduced equations of the obtained hierarchy are the generalized nonlinear heat equation containing three-potential functions, the mKdV equation and a generalized linear KdV equation. The algebro-geometric solutions (also called finite band solutions) of the generalized nonlinear heat equation are obtained by the use of theory on algebraic curves. Finally, two kinds of gauge transformations of the spatial isospectral problem are produced.  相似文献
