Donnell type equations are used to calculate modal densities of thin cylindrical shells, stiffened by closely spaced eccentric rings and stringers, and subjected to axial stresses. The formulation presented degenerates to known results for unstiffened, unloaded shells. The effects of stiffeners and axial stresses on modal densities are examined by numerous examples, and qualitative conclusions referring to radiation efficiency and transmission ratio of the stiffened shells are drawn.  相似文献

The vibratory response of submerged cylindrical shells is investigated. The shell response is presented in terms of the spatial wave-number spectrum of the normal surface displacement. The power output of the vibrating shell into the fluid and the far-field radiation from the shell are presented as a function of the wave number of the exciting force. An analytical model of acoustic radiation from shear deformable laminated cylindrical shells with initial axial loadings and doubly periodic rings is presented. The shear deformation and rotary inertia of the rings are taken into account and the rings interact with the cylindrical shell only through the normal forces. The far-field sound pressure is found by using the Fourier wavenumber transform and stationary phase method. High frequency limitation issues of the first-order shear deformation theory are discussed and the effects of the second set of rings, axial initial loadings and multiple external loadings on the far-field acoustic radiation are explored. Further, the helical wave spectra of the radial displacement and sound pressure are used to study the vibrational and acoustic characteristics of the laminated shells. Above the ring frequency, the profile of the helical wave spectra of the far-field sound pressure induced by the cylindrical shell is an ellipse and the patterns of the helical wave spectra of the far-field sound pressure keep unchanged. Moreover, the ellipse distinguishes the supersonic wavenumbers and subsonic wavenumbers from the helical wave spectra of the radial displacement and surface sound pressure in the wavenumber domain. The bright spots and highlights of the helical wave spectra show that the corresponding waves are dominant.  相似文献

The vibrations of stiffened cylindrical shells having axisymmetric or asymmetric initial geometrical imperfections and axial preload are analyzed. The analysis is based on a solution of the von Kárman-Donnell non-linear shell equations, an “exact” solution of the compatibility equation, and a first order approximation by the Galerkin method of the equilibrium equation. The stiffeners are closely spaced and “smeared” stiffener theory is employed. The results of an extensive parametric study carried out on shells similar to those used in vibration and buckling tests at the Technion show that stiffening of the shell will lower the imperfection-sensitivity of its free vibrations, but the decrease depends on the type of stiffening (stringers or rings), the mode shapes of the vibration and the imperfection, the stiffener strength and eccentricity. The imperfection-sensitivity decrease, caused by the stiffeners, is greater for vibration mode shapes with high imperfection-sensitivity than for other vibration mode shapes. The sensitivity differences between stringer and ring-stiffened shells depend especially on the vibration and the imperfection mode shapes, and on their coupling. Small imperfections change the natural frequencies of stiffened shells in the same directions as for isotropic shells, but to a smaller extent. The frequency dependence on the external load is also strongly affected by the imperfection mode shape. The results correlate well with earlier ones for isotropic shells.  相似文献

加肋圆柱壳体是水下航行器的主要结构形式。将肋骨对壳体的作用简化为只有法向力,本文导出了水中有限长加肋圆柱壳体的振动和声辐射的近似解析解。其中肋骨的作用表现为在无肋的耦合振动方程中增加附加阻抗,因此壳体的振动和声辐射由壳体的机械阻抗、流体的辐射声阻抗和肋骨的附加阻抗所决定。数值计算例子表明,在低频情况下,加肋对辐射声功率影响不大,但将降低表面平均振速,从而增加声辐射效率。  相似文献

为降低双层圆柱壳辐射噪声线谱,从控制内壳振动响应和衰减壳间振动传递率进行结构声学设计。采用机械阻抗理论分析了环肋圆柱壳模态响应控制机理;由环肋振动方程推导分析了环肋径向机械阻抗特性;基于阻抗失配、波形转换原理提出一种阻抗加强环肋,分析了振动波阻抑特性;利用阻尼减振技术,综合考虑肋板的刚度、阻尼特性,设计了金属橡胶层叠肋板;结合数值计算实例,分析了设计双层壳模型的声辐射性能。结果表明:设计的双层加肋圆柱壳结构能有效降低辐射噪声线谱,在分析频段内辐射声压线谱平均降低约6.6 dB。研究结果对研制低噪声水下航行器具有良好的工程价值和应用前景。  相似文献

Acoustical excitation along with two other methods was used to excite a long circular cylindrical shell, with simply supported boundary conditions. By comparing different types of excitation, the acoustical method was discovered to have many advantages over other methods of excitation used by previous researchers. Five different analytical methods based on the Love and Flugge theories, were also studied. The objective of this study was to identify the accuracy of each theory, in predicting the natural frequencies and mode shapes of a long circular cylindrical shell. A study was made to compare the predictions of the five analytical methods with experimental measurements. Interesting theoretical and experimental observations were observed for the long shell. Finally, a simple method is proposed to reduce the errors found in some of the analytical methods.  相似文献

In this paper, the superior mid-frequency vibration isolation of a geometrically optimized lightweight structure is demonstrated. The initial structure under test here was a 4.5 m long satellite boom consisting of 10 identical bays with equilateral triangular cross-sections. An unusual geometric variant of this, with inherent isolation characteristics, has been designed by the use of genetic algorithm (GA) methods. In order to obtain the best design, the joints in the boom were allowed to move around by 20% of the length of each bay (i.e., ±9 cm in all three translational directions). This work is based on results from a Fortran code (which was derived from receptance analysis) that are fully validated against detailed finite element (FE) models of the structure. The experimental forced response of the regular boom structure has been measured and compared with predicted curves. Finally, having obtained the geometrically optimized boom structure, its experimental response is compared with the theoretical results predicted by the receptance method. It is shown that the average of 30 dB isolation in the vibration energy transfer between the ends of the network of beams, over a 100 Hz bandwidth predicted in the design process, is achieved experimentally in an essentially undamped structure.  相似文献

Numerical simulation is one of the most efficient methods of investigating and optimizing nonlinear effects. However, simulating complex processes considering numerous nonlinear effects with the use of classical optimization methods is very difficult. This work deals with the application of a multiobjective genetic algorithm for the optimization of lattices of synchrotron radiation sources. This algorithm allows one to efficiently optimize both the linear and complex strongly nonlinear lattices of accelerators to obtain the required facility parameters.  相似文献

In-plane flexural vibration of a circular ring with large number of equally spaced supports is studied by making use of the property of the cyclic structure. The Green's function yielding the radial displacement at any point in any one of the spans of the stiffened ring due to a concentrated load acting on any one of the spans is developed. The acoustic scattering from a fluid-loaded stiffened cylindrical shell is described by using elasticity theory. The cylindrical shell is reinforced by a thin internal plate which is diametrically attached along the tube. In this model, cylindrical shell displacements and constraints expressed from elasticity theory are coupled to those of the plate at the junctions, where plate vibrations are described by using plate theory. The present model is first validated at low frequency range (k1a approximately 5-40) by comparison with a previous model based on the Timoshenko-Mindlin thin shell theory and by experimental results. Theoretical and experimental resonance spectra are then analyzed in a high frequency range (k1a approximately 120-200). Only resonances due to the S0 wave are clearly observed in this frequency range, and their modes of propagation are identified. Furthermore, A0 wave propagation is detected, because of the presence of the reflection of this wave at the shell-plate junctions.  相似文献

An inverse radiation problem was considered to estimate boundary conditions such as temperature distribution and emissivity in axisymmetric absorbing, emitting, and scattering medium, given the measured incident radiative heat fluxes. The finite-volume method was employed to solve a direct radiative transfer equation for a two-dimensional axisymmetric geometry. Various parameter estimators, such as conjugate-gradient method, hybrid genetic algorithm, and finite-difference Newton method, were employed to solve the inverse problems, while discussing their performances in terms of estimation accuracy and computational efficiency. Based on this, we proposed, as a best inverse analysis tool, a new combined method that adopted the hybrid genetic algorithm as an initial value selector and used the finite-difference Newton method as a parameter estimator.  相似文献

堆芯换料方案的优化是一个典型的组合优化问题,其搜索空间异常庞大。传统的优化算法很难在如此巨大的搜索空间中寻找出全局最优解。遗传算法以其优良的自适应能力和优化能力,为组合优化问题提供了一个非常有效的解决途径。采用遗传算法对柱状高温气冷堆堆芯装料方案进行了优化,并编写了相应程序。为了提高堆物理的计算精度,堆芯临界计算采用26群输运计算。由于多群输运计算需要大量计算时间,为此对遗传算法进行了并行优化。为了验证遗传算法对柱状高温气冷堆换料的优化能力,构造了一个8组件的小型柱状高温气冷堆换料优化基准题。结果表明,遗传算法在柱状高温气冷堆换料优化问题中具有良好的优化能力和计算稳定性。  相似文献

An improved tomographic-image reconstruction method is proposed that uses a hybrid genetic algorithm (GA) that hybridizes a conventional GA and a concurrent simplex method. For the purposes of discussion, an axisymmetric phantom density field is used with an interferometric optical projection. Tomographic-image reconstruction using the hybrid GA not only improves the convergence over the pure GA but also significantly reduces the computation time.  相似文献
