We report the synthesis and the electrochemical properties of hybrid films made of zinc oxide (ZnO) and Meldola's blue dye (MB) using cyclic voltammetry (CV). MB/ZnO hybrid films were electrochemically deposited onto glassy carbon, gold and indium tin oxide-coated glass (ITO) electrodes at room temperature (25 ± 2 °C) from the bath solution containing 0.1 M Zn(NO3)2, 0.1 M KNO3 and 1 × 10−4 M MB. The surface morphology and deposition kinetics of MB/ZnO hybrid films were studied by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM) techniques, respectively. SEM and AFM images of MB/ZnO hybrid films have revealed that the surfaces are well crystallized, porous and micro structured. MB molecules were immobilized and strongly fixed in a transparent inorganic matrix. MB/ZnO hybrid films modified glassy carbon electrode (MB/ZnO/GC) showed one reversible redox couple centered at formal potential (E0′) −0.12 V (pH 6.9). The surface coverage (Γ) of the MB immobilized on ZnO/GC was about 9.86 × 10−12 mol cm−2 and the electron transfer rate constant (ks) was determined to be 38.9 s−1. The MB/ZnO/GC electrode acted as a sensor and displayed an excellent specific electrocatalytic response to the oxidation of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH). The linear response range between 50 and 300 μM NADH concentration at pH 6.9 was observed with a detection limit of 10 μM (S/N = 3). The electrode was stable during the time it was used for the full study (about 1 month) without a notable decrease in current. Indeed, dopamine (DA), ascorbic acid (AA), acetaminophen (AP) and uric acid (UA) did not show any interference during the detection of NADH at this modified electrode.  相似文献

Gallium-doped zinc oxide (ZnO:Ga 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 at%) samples were prepared in powder form by modifying the Pechini method. The formation of zinc gallate (ZnGa2O4) with the spinel crystal structure was observed even in ZnO:Ga 1 at% by X-ray diffraction. The presence of ZnGa2O4 in ZnO:Ga samples was also evidenced by luminescence spectroscopy through its blue emission at 430 nm, assigned to charge transfer between Ga3+ at regular octahedral symmetry and its surrounding O2− ions. The amount of ZnGa2O4 increases as the dopant concentration increases, as observed by the quantitative phase analysis by the Rietveld method.  相似文献

This paper reports the fabrication of highly-sensitive cholesterol biosensor based on cholesterol oxidase (ChOx) immobilization on well-crystallized flower-shaped ZnO structures composed of perfectly hexagonal-shaped ZnO nanorods grown by low-temperature simple solution process. The fabricated cholesterol biosensors reported a very high and reproducible sensitivity of 61.7 μA μM−1 cm−2 with a response time less than 5 s and detection limit (based on S/N ratio) of 0.012 μM. The biosensor exhibited a linear dynamic range from 1.0-15.0 μM and correlation coefficient of R = 0.9979. A lower value of apparent Michaelis-Menten constant (Kmapp), of 2.57 mM, exhibited a high affinity between the cholesterol and ChOx immobilized on flower-shaped ZnO structures. Moreover, the effect of pH on ChOx activity on the ZnO modified electrode has also been studied in the range of 5.0-9.0 which exhibited a best enzymatic activity at the pH range of 6.8-7.6. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report in which such a very high-sensitivity and low detection limit has been achieved for the cholesterol biosensor by using ZnO nanostructures modified electrodes.  相似文献

Changes in pH have been used to shift the band-edge positions of n-type ZnO electrodes relative to solution-based electron acceptors having pH-independent redox potentials. Differential capacitance vs. potential and current density vs. potential measurements using [Co(bpy)3]3+/2+ and [Ru(bpy)2(MeIm)2]3+/2+ (where bpy = 2,2′-bipyridyl and MeIm = 1-methyl-imidazole) allowed investigation of the pH-induced driving-force dependence of the interfacial electron-transfer rate in the normal and inverted regions of electron transfer, respectively. All rate processes were observed to be kinetically first-order in the concentration of electrons at the ZnO surface and first-order in the concentration of dissolved redox acceptors. Measurements using [Co(bpy)3]3+/2+, which has a low driving force and a high reorganization energy in contact with ZnO electrodes, and measurements of [Ru(bpy)2(MeIm)2]3+/2+, which has a high driving force and a low reorganization energy in contact with ZnO electrodes, allowed for the evaluation of both the normal and inverted regions of interfacial electron-transfer processes, respectively. The rate constant at optimum exoergicity was observed to be approximately 5 × 10−17 cm4 s−1. The rate constant vs. driving-force dependence at n-type ZnO electrodes exhibited both normal and inverted regions, and the data were well-fitted by parabolas generated using classical electron-transfer theory.  相似文献

A new heterodinuclear Fe(III)Zn(II) complex which mimics the active site of the hydrolytic enzyme red kidney bean purple acid phosphatase was synthesized and characterized by IR, CHN and X-ray crystallographic analyses. This complex, [FeIIIZnII(μ-OH)bpbpmp-CH3](ClO4)2, containing the ligand (H2bpbpmp-CH3 = {2-[bis(2-pyridylmethyl)aminomethyl]-6-[(2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzyl) (2-pyridyl-methyl) aminomethyl]-4-methyl-phenol}) was employed in the construction of a biomimetic sensor and used in the determination of rosmarinic acid in plant extract samples. The response parameters and optimization of the biomimetic sensor design were evaluated. The best performance of this sensor was obtained for 75:15:10% (w/w/w) of the graphite powder:nujol:Fe(III)Zn(II) complex, 0.1 mol L−1 phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.5), 1.19 × 10−4 mol L−1 hydrogen peroxide with frequency, pulse amplitude, and scan increment at 30 Hz, 100 mV, and 0.6 mV, respectively. The rosmarinic acid concentration was linear in the range of 2.98 × 10−5 to 3.83 × 10−4 mol L−1 (r = 0.9991) with a detection limit of 2.30 × 10−6 mol L−1. This biomimetic sensor demonstrated long-term stability (300 days; 900 determinations) and reproducibility, with a relative standard deviation of 12.0%. The recovery study of rosmarinic acid in plant extract samples gave values from 90.3 to 98.3% and the concentrations determined showed agreement when compared with those obtained using capillary electrophoresis at the 95% confidence level.  相似文献

A series of macrobicyclic unsymmetrical binuclear copper(II) complexes of compartmental ligands were synthesized from the Schiff base condensation of 1,8[N,N′-bis{(3-formyl-2-hydroxy-5-methyl)benzyl}]-1,4,8,11- tetraaza-5,5,7,12,12,14-hexa methylcyclotetradecane with diamines like 1,2-diamino ethane, 1,3-diamino propane, 1,4-diaminobutane, 1,2-diaminobenzene and 1,8-diaminonaphthalene. The complexes were characterized by elemental and spectral analysis. Electrochemical studies of the copper(II) complexes show two irreversible one-electron reduction processes around E1pc = −0.70 to −1.10 V and E2pc = −0.98 to −1.36 V. ESR spectra of the binuclear copper(II) complexes show a broad signal at g = 2.10 and μeff values in the range 1.46–1.59 BM, which convey the presence of antiferromagnetic coupling. Cryomagnetic investigation of the binuclear complexes [Cu2L3(ClO4)](ClO4) and [Cu2L4(ClO4)](ClO4) show that the observed −2J values are 144 and 216 cm−1, respectively. The observed initial rate (Vin) for the catalytic hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl phosphate by the binuclear copper(II) complexes were in the range 1.8 × 10−5 to 2.1 × 10−5 Ms−1. The initial rate (Vin) for the catalytic oxidation of catechol to o-quinone by the binuclear copper(II) complexes were in the range 2.7 × 10−5 to 3.5 × 10−5 Ms−1. The copper(II) complexes have been found to promote cleavage of plasmid pBR 322 DNA from the supercoiled form I to the open circular form II.  相似文献

A novel chemiluminescence (CL) reaction system with bis(hydrogenperiodato) argentate(III) complex anion (Ag(III) complex, [Ag(HIO6)2]5−), for the first time, is developed for the determination of lomefloxacin (LMFX), enrofloxacin (ENLX) and pefloxacin (PFLX). The possible CL emission mechanism was discussed by comparing the fluorescence emission with CL spectra. The CL conditions of [Ag(HIO6)2]5−-H2SO4-LMFX/ENLX/PFLX systems were investigated and optimized. Under the optimized experimental conditions, the CL intensity is proportional to the concentration of the drugs in the range 0.2994-36.80 × 10−7 g mL−1 for LMFX, 4.00-30.0 × 10−7 g mL−1 for ENLX and 1.54-27.64 × 10−7 g mL−1 for PFLX. The limit of detection (s/n = 3) was 9.1 × 10−9 g mL−1 for LMFX, 3.1 × 10−9 g mL−1 for ENLX and 4.4 × 10−9 g mL−1 for PFLX. The recovery of LMFX, ENLX and PELX from the spiked pharmaceutical preparations was in the range of 92.3-105% with the RSDs of 0.5-2.7%. For urine, serum and milk samples the recoveries of the three drugs were in the range of 85.1-107% for LMFX with the RSDs of 2.3-3.4%. 80.2-112% for ENLX with the RSDs of 1.4-2.8%, and 87.8-114% for PFLX with the RSDs of 1.6-2.7%. The proposed method was applied successfully to the determination of these compounds in real samples.  相似文献

This work assesses for the first time the potential of natural Kaolinite as adsorptive material for preconcentration of metal traces. Manganese is quantitatively retained by 2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol (5-Br-PADAP) on thermal modified Kaolinite by column method in pH range of 8.5-10.0 at flow rate of 2 ml min−1. Manganese was removed from column with 5.0 ml of H2SO4 4 mol l−1 and determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometric at 279.5 nm. In this case, 0.l μg of manganese can be concentrated from 800 ml of aqueous sample (where concentration is as low as 0.125 μg l−1). Detection limit is 4.3 μg l−1 (3 δbl m−1) and analytical curve is linear in the 0.02-10 mg l−1 in final solution with correlation coefficient 0.9997 and relative standard deviation for eight replicate determination of 5 μg of manganese in final solution is 0.71%. The interference of a large number of anions and cations has been studied in detail to optimize the conditions and method was successfully applied for determination of manganese in complex materials.  相似文献

A direct method for the determination of citrate and oxytetracycline in samples containing complex matrices like tablets or serum has been developed using the luminescence of the ternary complex formed with Eu(III) ions. The triplet-state energy level of oxytetracycline (OxTc), the excitation maximum (412 nm) and the luminescence lifetime of Eu-OxTc (58 μs) were determined. A 17-fold luminescence enhancement at 615 nm occurs upon addition of citrate within a short 5-min incubation time at neutral pH. This is accompanied by a threefold increase of the luminescence decay time. The optimal conditions for determination of OxTc are equal concentrations of Eu (III) and citrate (C = 1 · 10− 4 mol L− 1) and pH 7.2. For determination of citrate, the optimal concentrations of Eu(III) and OxTc are 1 : 0.5 (CEu = 1 · 10− 4 mol L− 1, COxTc = 5 · 10− 5 mol L− 1) at pH 7.2. The linear range for determination of OxTc in serum is 0.25-250 μg mL− 1, and for citrate in tablets from 0.5 to 10.0 μg mL− 1 (2.3 · 10− 6- 4 · 10− 5 mol L− 1). The detection limit was 0.1 μg mL− 1 for OxTc and 0.2 μg mL− 1 (1 · 10-6 mol L− 1) for citrate, respectively. A comparison of the new method with other methods for determination of citrate is given.  相似文献

The basic study on the determination of tetrafluoroborate ion (BF4) by ion chromatography, and total boron by conversion of boric acid to BF4 followed by ion chromatography of BF4 has been carried out. The results of thermodynamic calculations for the system of boric acid (H3BO3)-F-H+ showed that the mole fraction of BF4 was higher than 99% at pH lower than 3.5 and 4.5 when the total free fluoride concentration (2[H2F2] + 2[HF2] + [HF] + [F]) was as high as 0.1 and 1.0 M, respectively. The fraction of BF4 increased with increasing total free fluoride concentration. BF4 fraction values were higher than 99% at pH 0.75 and at total free fluoride concentration of 0.05 M or higher. BF4 was hardly formed at pH > 7 even when the total free fluoride concentration was as high as 1.0 M. According to the experimental results, the fraction of BF4 at pH 0.7-0.8 was 51.2, 95.6 and 96.7% when the total fluoride concentration (2[H2F2] + 2[HF2] + [HF] + [F] + 3[BF3OH] + 4[BF4]) was 0.2, 1.0 and 3.3 M, respectively. The formation reaction of BF4 from boric acid reached an equilibrium state within 20 min regardless of reaction temperature, in the range of 20-50 °C, when the total boron and total fluoride concentrations were 66.7 mM and 1.0 M, respectively. Although BF4 was formed only under acidic conditions, BF4, once formed, was very stable under alkaline conditions at least for several hours. We have concluded that BF4 could be analyzed by ion chromatography using sodium hydroxide solution as an eluent because BF4 was stable under chromatographic conditions. BF4 solution prepared from boric acid could be used as a standard solution in the ion chromatographic analysis of BF4 instead of the sodium tetrafluoroborate (NaBF4) reagent available commercially, if a discrepancy of about 4-5% was allowed.  相似文献

A hyphenated ion-pair (tetrabutylammonium chloride—TBACl) reversed phase (C18) HPLC-ICP-MS method (High Performance Liquid Chromatography Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectroscopy) for anionic Rh(III) aqua chlorido-complexes present in an HCl matrix has been developed. Under optimum chromatographic conditions it was possible to separate and quantify cationic Rh(III) complexes (eluted as a single band), [RhCl3(H2O)3], cis-[RhCl4(H2O)2], trans-[RhCl4(H2O)2] and [RhCln(H2O)6−n]3−n (n = 5, 6) species. The [RhCln(H2O)6−n]3−n (n = 5, 6) complex anions eluted as a single band due to the relatively fast aquation of [RhCl6]3− in a 0.1 mol L−1 TBACl ionic strength mobile phase matrix. Moreover, the calculated t1/2 of 1.3 min for [RhCl6]3− aquation at 0.1 mol kg−1 HCl ionic strength is significantly lower than the reported t1/2 of 6.3 min at 4.0 mol kg−1 HClO4 ionic strength. Ionic strength or the activity of water in this context is a key parameter that determines whether [RhCln(H2O)6−n]3−n (n = 5, 6) species can be chromatographically separated. In addition, aquation/anation rate constants were determined for [RhCln(H2O)6−n]3−n (n = 3-6) complexes at low ionic strength (0.1 mol kg−1 HCl) by means of spectrophotometry and independently with the developed ion-pair HPLC-ICP-MS technique for species assignment validation. The Rh(III) samples that was equilibrated in differing HCl concentrations for 2.8 years at 298 K was analyzed with the ion-pair HPLC method. This analysis yielded a partial Rh(III) aqua chlorido-complex species distribution diagram as a function of HCl concentration. For the first time the distribution of the cis- and trans-[RhCl4(H2O)2] stereoisomers have been obtained. Furthermore, it was found that relatively large amounts of ‘highly’ aquated [RhCln(H2O)6−n]3−n (n = 0-4) species persist in up to 2.8 mol L−1 HCl and in 1.0 mol L−1 HCl the abundance of the [RhCl5(H2O)]2− species is only 8-10% of the total, far from the 70-80% as previously proposed. A 95% abundance of the [RhCl6]3− complex anion occurs only when the HCl concentration is above 6 mol L−1. The detection limit for a Rh(III) species eluted from the column is below 0.147 mg L−1.  相似文献

A simple and precise square-wave adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry (SW-AdCSV) method has been described for simultaneous determination of Mn(II), Cu(II) and Fe(III) in water samples using a carbon paste electrode. In 0.1 mol L−1 acetate buffer (pH 5) containing 50 μmol L−1 of 2-(5′-bromo-2′-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol (5-Br-PADAP), Mn(II), Cu(II) and Fe(III) were simultaneously determined as metal-complexes with 5-Br-PADAP following preconcentration onto the carbon paste electrode by adsorptive accumulation at +1.0 V (vs. Ag/AgCl/3 M KCl). Insignificant interference from various cations (K+, Na+, Mg2+, Ca2+, Al3+, Bi3+, Sb3+, Se4+, Zn2+, Ni2+, Co2+, Cd2+, Pb2+, V5+, Ti4+ and NH4+), anions (HCO3, Cl, NO3−, SO42− and PO43−) and ascorbic acid was noticed. Limits of detection of 0.066, 0.108 and 0.093 μg L−1 and limits of quantitation of 0.22, 0.36 and 0.31 μg L−1 Mn(II), Cu(II) and Fe(III), respectively, were achieved by the described method. The described stripping voltammetry method was successfully applied for simultaneous determination of Mn(II), Cu(II) and Fe(III) in ground, tap and bottled natural water samples.  相似文献

A new solid state fluoride ion selective electrode composed of 70% Ag2S, 10% Cu2S and 20% CaF2 has been developed. An analytically useful potential change occurred, from 1 × 10−6 to 1 × 10−1 M fluoride ion. The slope of the linear portion (1 × 10−1-1 × 10−5 M) was about 26 ± 2 mV/10-fold concentration changes in fluoride. It was found that pH change between 1 and 8 had no effect on the potential of the electrode. There was no interference of most common cations such as K+, Na+, Ca2+ and Mg2+ and anions such as Cl, NO3, SO42− and PO43−. The lifetime of the electrode was more than 2 years, when used at least 4-5 times a day, and the response time was about 60 s.The measurements were made at constant ionic strength (0.1 M NaNO3) and at room temperature. This electrode has been used for the determination of fluoride ion in Ankara city tap water and in bottled spring water using standard addition method. The validation of the electrode has been made with a commercial fluoride ion selective electrode (Orion) and high consistency was obtained.  相似文献

An all-solid-state electrode, containing a synthesized chiral A2B2 macrocyclic compound namely (4R,5R,15R,16R)-4,5,15,16-tetraphenyl-3,6,14,17-tetraazatricyclo [13.3.1.18,12] tetracosa-1(23),8,10,12(24)19,21-hexaene-2,7,13,18-tetrone as an ionophore in polyvinyl chloride (PVC)/polyurethane (PU) membrane matrix, has been developed for the selective quantification of monohydrogen phosphate ions. The best performing membrane contained PVC, PU, ionophore, and nitrophenyl octyl ether as a plasticizer in the ratio 32.2:2.6:65.1 (w/w, %). It exhibited a near-Nernstian slope of 31.0 ± 1.0 mV/decade of activity for HPO42− ions in the concentration range of 1.0 × 10−6 to 1.0 × 10−2 M at pH 7.4. The detection limit of the electrode was 8.4 × 10−7 M and the life time was six weeks. The electrode displayed excellent selectivity for monohydrogen phosphate over other anions and the selectivity sequence was determined as HPO42− > SO42− > Ac > NO3 > ClO4 > Cl > I. The selective electrode for the monohydrogen phosphate ions was evaluated with a standard reference material (SRM 1548) and the titration of the sample solution.  相似文献

Density functional calculations with the B3LYP functional were carried out for the [Ru(NO)Cl5]2−, [Ru(NO)(NH3)5]3+, [Ru(NO)(CN)5]2−, [Ru(NO)(CN)5]3−, [Ru(NO)(hedta)]q (hedta = N-(hydroxyethyl)ethylenediaminetriacetate triple-charged anion; q = 0, −1, −2), Rh2(O2CR)4, Rh2(O2CR)4(NO)2, Ru2(O2CR)4, Ru2(O2CR)4(NO)2, Ru2(dpf)4, and Ru2(dpf)4(NO)2 (dpf = N,N′-diphenylformamidinate ion; R = H, CH3, CF3) complexes. The electronic structure was analyzed in terms of Mayer and Wiberg bond order indices. The technique of bond order indices decomposition into σ-, π-, and δ-contributions was proposed.  相似文献

In this article a new coated platinum Cu2+ ion selective electrode based on 2-((2-(2-(2-(2-hydroxy-5-methoxybenzylideneamino)phenyl)disufanyl)phenylimino) methyl)-4-methoxyphenol Schiff base (L1) as a new ionophore is described. This sensor has a wide linear range of concentration (1.2 × 10−7-1.0 × 10−1 mol L−1) and a low detection limit of 9.8 × 10−8 mol L−1of Cu(NO3)2. It has a Nernstian response with slope of 29.54 ± 1.62 mV decade−1 and it is applicable in the pH range of 4.0-6.0 without any divergence in potentioal. The coated electrode has a short response time of approximately 9 s and is stable at least for 3.5 months. The electrode shows a good selectivity for Cu2+ ion toward a wide variety of metal ions. The proposed sensor was successfully applied for the determination of Cu2+ ion in different real and environmental samples and as indicator electrode for potentiometric titration of Cu2+ ion with EDTA.  相似文献

A novel conjugation-elongated bis(ethylenedithio)tetraselenafulvalene (BETS) type donor, 2,5-bis(4,5-ethylenedithio-1,3-diselenol-2-ylidene)-2,3,4,5-tetrahydrothiophene (BEDT-HBDST) and its magnetic and non-magnetic anion salts, (BEDT-HBDST)2MX4 (MX4=FeCl4, GaCl4, FeBr4 and GaBr4), were prepared. These four salts are isostructural and belong to the space group of P2/c. They showed semiconducting behavior with small activation energies (59-64 meV). The band structures of these salts are quasi one-dimensional and there is a midgap between the upper band and the lower band, since the degree of dimerization is significant in the stacking direction. The MX4 ions are located between the donor columns and near to the ethylenedithio moieties of the donor molecules. The magnetic susceptibilities of the FeCl4 and FeBr4 salts follow the Curie-Weiss law with Curie constants of 4.6 and 4.8 emu K mol−1 (sum of the spins of S=5/2 and S=1/2) and negative Weiss temperatures of θ=−1.2 and −4.9 K, respectively, revealing a weak antiferromagnetic interaction of 3d spins of the FeCl4 and FeBr4 anions. The Fe?Fe (6.66-7.60 Å), Cl?Cl (4.81-4.82 Å) and Br?Br (4.74-4.77 Å) distances in the crystal structures of these salts are significantly long. Therefore, the direct magnetic interaction between the 3d spins of the nearest neighboring Fe3+ ions appears to be not readily accessible.  相似文献

A novel biomimetic sensor for rutin determination based on a dinuclear complex [MnIIIMnII(Ldtb)(μ-OAc)2]BPh4 containing an unsymmetrical dinucleating ligand, 2-[N,N-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-aminomethyl]-6-[N-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-2-oxidoben-zyl)-N-(2-pyridylamino)aminomethyl]-4-methylphenol (H2Ldtb), as a manganese peroxidase mimetic was developed. Several parameters were investigated to evaluate the performance of the biomimetic sensor obtained after the incorporation of the dinuclear complex in a carbon paste. The best performance was obtained in 75:15:10% (w/w/w) of the graphite powder:Nujol:MnIIIMnII complex, 0.1 mol L−1 phosphate buffer solution (pH 6.0) and 4.0 × 10−5 mol L−1 hydrogen peroxide. The response of the sensor towards rutin concentration was linear using square wave voltammetry in the range of 9.99 × 10−7 to 6.54 × 10−5 mol L−1 (r = 0.9998) with a detection limit of 1.75 × 10−7 mol L−1. The recovery study performed with pharmaceuticals ranged from 96.6% to 103.2% and the relative standard deviation was 1.85% for a solution containing 1.0 × 10−3 mol L−1 rutin (n = 6). The lifetime of this biomimetic sensor was 200 days (at least 750 determinations). The results obtained for rutin in pharmaceuticals using the biomimetic sensor and those obtained with the official method are in agreement at the 95% confidence level.  相似文献

A phosphate-selective electrode based on surfactant-modified zeolite (SMZ) particles into carbon-paste has been proposed (SMZ-CPE). The electrode was fully characterized in terms of composition, response time, ionic strength, thermal stability and usable pH range. The electrode containing 20% SMZ exhibited linear response range to phosphate species in the range of 1.58 × 10−5 to 1.00 × 10−2 M with a detection limit of 1.28 × 10−5 M and a Nernstian slope of 29.9 ± 0.9 mV per decade of phosphate concentration. The electrode response to phosphate remains constant in the pH range of 4-12 and in the presence of 1 × 10−4 to 4 × 10−3 M NaNO3. The response of the electrode reaches equilibrium within several seconds after immersing the electrode in phosphate solution. Common anions such as Cl, Br, I, NO3, SO42− and Cr2O72− have little effect on the determination of phosphate but AsO43− shows some interference. A successful application of the electrode for determination of phosphate in a fertilizer, using direct potentiometry, is presented. The electrode was also used for the potentiometric titration of phosphate. The validation of the obtained results in each case was proved by statistical methods.  相似文献

A novel potentiometric uranyl membrane sensor with a divalent anionic response is developed, characterized and used for determination of uranyl ion. The sensor incorporates triethylenetetramine (TETA) as an ionophore in poly(vinyl chloride) matrix membrane (PVC) plasticized with o-nitrophenyloctyl ether (o-NPOE). In strong sulphate test solutions, UO22+ ion forms a highly stable [UO2(SO4)2]2− anion, extractable in TETA as {(2TETAH)2+ [UO2(SO4)2]2−} complex. Formation of the complex is confirmed and characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry and infrared spectrometry. Sensor based on this system displays at pH 2.5-3.8 a linear response over the concentration range of 1.0 × 10−1-3.5 × 10−5 mol l−1 uranium with a near-Nernstian calibration slope of −26.5 ± 0.3 mV decade−1. The lower limit of detection is ∼5 μg ml−1, the lifetime is 12 weeks and negligible interferences are caused by most common cations. Validation of the assay method reveals excellent performance characteristics in terms of sensitivity, selectivity, fast response and potential stability. The sensor is used for the determination of 0.01-7.09 wt% uranium in naturally occurring and certified ore samples. The results show an average recovery of 97.6% and compare fairly well with data obtained using X-ray fluorescence technique.  相似文献
