We report on a very recently developed three-dimensional angular momentum projected relativistic mean-field theory with point-coupling interaction (3DAMP+RMF-PC). Using this approach the same effective nucleon-nucleon interaction is adopted to describe both the single-particle and collective motions in nuclei. Collective states with good quantum angular momentum are built projecting out the intrinsic deformed mean-field states. Results for 24Mg are shown as an illustrative application.  相似文献

In terms of the invariance of the rotational relativistic Pfaff-Birkhoff-D'Alembert principle under infinitesimal transformations, the Noether symmetries and conserved quantities of a rotational relativistic Birkhoff system are given. The potential energy surfaces of even-even 142-156Ba are investigated in the constrained reflectionasymmetric relativistic mean-field approach with parameter set PK1. It is shown that for the ground states, 142Ba is near spherical,156Ba well quadrupole-deformed, and in between 144-154Ba octupole deformed. In particular, the nuclei 148,150Ba with N=92, 94 have the largest octupole deformations. By including the octupole degree of freedom, energy gaps N = 88, N = 94 and Z = 56 near Fermi surfaces for the singleparticle levels in 148Ba with β2 ~ 0.26 and β3 ~ 0.17 are found. Furthermore, the performance of the octupole deformation driving pairs (ν2f7/2, ν1i13/2) and (π2d5/2, π1h11/2) is demonstrated by analyzing the singleparticle levels near Fermi surfaces in 148Ba.  相似文献

The gravitational effect of spontaneous symmetry breaking vacuum energy density is investigated by subtracting the flat space-time contribution from the energy in the curved space-time. We find that the remaining effective energy-momentum tensor is too small to cause the acceleration of the universe, although it satisfies the characteristics of dark energy. However, it could provide a promising explanation to the puzzle of why the gravitational effect produced by the huge symmetry breaking vacuum energy in the electroweak theory has not been observed, as it has a sufficiently small value (smaller than the observed cosmic energy density by a factor of 1032).  相似文献

We study the spontaneous symmetry breaking of a superfluid Bose-Fermi mixture in a two-dimensional double- well potential. The mixture is described by a set of coupled Gross-Pitaevskii equations. The symmetry breaking phenomenon is demonstrated in the two-dimensional double-well potential in the mixture. The results are summarized in the phase diagrams of the mixture particle numbers, which are divided into symmetric and asymmetric regions by the asymmetry ratios. The dynamical pictures of the spontaneous symmetry breaking induced by a gradual transformation of the single-well potential into a double-well one are also illustrated. The properties of the quantum degenerate mixture are explored using the realistic parameters for a 40 K- 87 Rb system.  相似文献

The restoration of pseudo-spin symmetry(PSS) along the N = 32 and N = 34 isotonic chains and the physics behind are studied by applying the relativistic Hartree-Fock theory with the effective Lagrangian PKA1. Taking the proton pseudo-spin partners(π2s_(1/2), π1d_(3/2)) as candidates, the systematic restoration of PSS along both isotonic chains is found from sulphur(S) to nickel(Ni), while an obvious PSS violation from silicon(Si) to sulphur is discovered near the drip lines. The effects of the tensor force components are investigated, introduced naturally by the Fock terms, which can only partially interpret the systematics from calcium to nickel, whereas they fail for the overall trends. Further analysis following the Schr?dinger-like equation of the lower component of Dirac spinor shows that contributions from the Hartree terms dominate the overall systematics of the PSS restoration. Such effects can be self-consistently interpreted by the evolution of the proton central density profiles along both isotonic chains. In particular, the PSS violation is found to tightly relate to the dramatic changes from the bubble-like density profiles in silicon to the central-bumped ones in sulphur.  相似文献

We summarize the findings of a large number of studies concerning the totally asymmetric simple exclusion process (TASEP) with complex lattice geometries. The TASEP has been recognized as a paradigm in modeling and analyzing non-equilibrium traffic systems. The paper surveys both the observed physical phenomena and several popular meanfield approaches used to analyze the extended TASEP models. Several interesting physical phenomena, such as phase separation, spontaneous symmetry breaking, and the finite-size effect, have been identified and explained. The future investigations of the extended TASEP with complex lattice geometries are also introduced. This paper may help to obtain a better understanding of non-equilibrium systems.  相似文献

The density-dependent relativistic hadron (DDRH) field theory proposed recently is extended to investigate the longitudinal response function and the Coulomb sum rule in quasielastic electron scattering in the relativistic random phase approximation (RPA). The results in the DDRH model are compared with those in other models systematically. It is found that meson effective masses induced by the nonlinear terms in the nonlinear Walecka model should be used to obtain the meson Greens functions when the longitudinal response function and the Coulomb sum rule are calculated. The effects of the and mesons are clearly shown in quasielastic electron scattering, and the isospin-dependent attractive potential between nucleons due to the exchange of the -meson cancels the isospin-dependent repulsive contribution of the -meson to a certain extent. The obtained results in the DDRH model are in good agreement with experimental data except for the Coulomb sum rule in 208Pb.  相似文献

We study quantum–classical correspondence in terms of the coherent wave functions of a charged particle in two- dimensional central-scalar potentials as well as the gauge field of a magnetic flux in the sense that the probability clouds of wave functions are well localized on classical orbits. For both closed and open classical orbits, the non-integer angular-momentum quantization with the level space of angular momentum being greater or less than is determined uniquely by the same rotational symmetry of classical orbits and probability clouds of coherent wave functions, which is not necessarily 2π-periodic. The gauge potential of a magnetic flux impenetrable to the particle cannot change the quantization rule but is able to shift the spectrum of canonical angular momentum by a flux-dependent value, which results in a common topological phase for all wave functions in the given model. The well-known quantum mechanical anyon model becomes a special case of the arbitrary quantization, where the classical orbits are 2π-periodic.  相似文献

Taking into account σ-, ω- and ρ-mesons, an expression for the interaction function of quasiparticles in non-isoscalar nuclear matter is derived. This medium resembles a state of broken symmetry, which gives rise to a Goldstone boson. It obtains nonzero mass, if the electromagnetic interaction is included. Treating the electromagnetic field self-consistently, dressing factors for the single-particle current in non-isoscalar nuclear matter are determined. As an application, the effective angular momentum g-factor for a single nucleon added at the Fermi surface is calculated.  相似文献

Using the chiral symmetry spontaneous breaking Lagrangian with mean-field approximation, we investigate the in-medium quark condensate 〈qq〉. It is found that the condensate decreases as the nuclear matter density ρ increases. Meanwhile, the desent deviates from the linear decrease and becomes remarkably slow as the density of the nuclear matter further increases. It shows that the chiral symmetry spontaneous breaking is only partially restored in densed nuclear matter.  相似文献

A simple two-species asymmetric exclusion model is introduced. It consists of two types of oppositely charged particles driven by an electric field and hopping on an open chain. The phase diagram of the model is calculated in the meanfield approximation and by Monte Carlo simulations. Exact solutions are given for special values of the parameters defining its dynamics. The model is found to exhibit two phases in which spontaneous symmetry breaking takes place, where the two currents of the two species are not equal.  相似文献

By using the Schwinger-boson mean-field theory, the Heisenberg ferrimagnetic spin chain with the single-ion anisotropy D is explored. Based on the effect of the single-ion anisotropy D, we obtain four branches of the low-lying excitation and calculate the anisotropy dependence of spin reduction and the longitudinal correlation at zero temperature.
