Abundant ψ' events have been collected at the Beijing Electron Positron Collider-Ⅱ (BEPCⅡ) that could undoubtedly provide us with a great opportunity to study the more attractive charmonium decays. As has been noticed before, in the process of J/ψ' decaying to the baryonic final states, pK-Λ, the evident Λ* and N* bands have been observed. Similarly, by using the product of χcJ from ψ' radiative decay, we may confirm this or find some extra new resonances. χc0's data samples will be more than χc1,2, taking into account the larger branching ratio of ψ' →γχc0. Here, we provide explicit partial wave analysis formulae for the very interesting channel ψ' →γχc0 →γpK-Λ.  相似文献

The experimental observation indicates that the branching ratio of ψ'→ρπ is very small while the ρ-π channel is a main one in J/ψ decays. To understand the puzzle, various interpretations have been proposed. Meanwhile according to the hadronic helicity selection rule, this decay mode should be suppressed. Numerical calculations are needed to determine how it is suppressed. We calculate the branching ratios of J/ψ→ρπ and ππ in the framework of QCD. The results show that the branching ratios are proportional to (mu+md/MJ/ψ)^2 for the ρπ mode and (mu-md/MJ/ψ)^2 for the ππ mode which is isospin violated. The theoretical prediction of the ratio of J/ ψ→ρπ is smaller than data, but not too small to invoke a completely new mechanism. Thus the puzzle is still standing even though we learn much knowledge towards the puzzle and this will help to finally interpret the puzzle and then gain a deeper insight to the heavy quarkonia.  相似文献

We derive the separate helicity amplitudes using the partial wave analysis in the process of pseudo-scalar meson photoproduction. For JP = 3/2+, we find the amplitude is model independent. According to parity conservation, the general amplitude in the case of JP = 1/2- is obtained. We prove this general amplitude corresponds to the situation of λ= -1 when adopting the circular polarization. Finally, the formulas of scattering amplitudes involving the meson photoproduction with JP = 3/2+ are obtained from the chiral quark model.  相似文献

In this paper we discuss the production and decay of the glueball candidate θ/f2(1720) in the J/ψ radiative decay.We find that in order to explain the helicity amplitude ratios x and y of the process J/ψ→γ+θ,the contribution of two D wave components (l=2,S=0,2) has to be considered in addition to the S wave component.We also discuss the possible experimental test for the existence of the D′wave component (l=2,S=2).  相似文献

The great simplicity attained by the Weyl-van der Waerden spinor technique in the evaluation of helicity invariant amplitudes is shown to apply in the cumbersome calculations within the framework of linearized gravitation. Once the graviton couplings to spin-0, 1/2, 1, and 3/2 particles are given, we exhibit the reach of this method by evaluating, as an example, the helicity amplitudes for the process electron + positron photon + graviton in a very straightforward way.  相似文献

We present the results of a study of the charmless vector-vector decay B+ --> rho+ K*0, based on 253 fb(-1) of data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+ e- collider. We obtain the branching fraction B(B+ --> rho+ K*0) = [8.9 +/- 1.7(stat) +/- 1.2(syst)] x 10(-6). We also perform a helicity analysis of the rho and K* vector mesons, and obtain the longitudinal polarization fraction f(L)(B+ --> rho+ K*0) = 0.43 +/- 0.11(stat)(-0.02)(+0.05) (syst).  相似文献

The helicity amplitudes fot J/ψ→∧(∧)and the relevant background decays are presented for measuring the A decay parameter α+((∧)→(p)π)in J/ψ→∧(∧).The Monte Carlo(MC)simulations based on the helicity amplitudes information are carried out.The likelihood fit method to determine the A decay parameter is presented.Based on the MC generated sample,the sensitivity of the measurement for α+has been estimated,which shows that the J/ψ→∧(∧) channel can be used to measure the A decay parameter α+((∧)→(p)π+)well.  相似文献

The three-step two-body decay process of J/ψ,J/ψ→V+X,X→P1+ Y,Y→P2+P3 is discussed using the generalized moment analysis method. Our analyais[1] has shown that there exist sensitive and insensitive regions to determine the spin (J = 2 or 4) of ξ(2230) in the general helicity formalism. Whereaa it just falls into the insensitive region by using current data of ξ. If the number of events is not sufficient it is difficult to determine the spin of ξ[2]. In this paper we generalize the moment analysis[3]. We define the photon angular distribution HJτ, LM) for the moment of process e+ +R- → J/ψ → τ + ξ, ξ → p + p and the weighted moment by choosing appropriate weight function. They provide an effective criterion to determine the spin of ξ. We also use the method to discuss LIE puzzle for process e+ + e- → J/ψ → τ + B1 B → P1 + P2 + P3.  相似文献

The helicity amplitudes for the processes of e^+e^- →J/ψ→γηc→γYY(Y: hyperon) are presented, together with the joint angular distributions for ηc decays into ∧∧,∑^0 ∑^0, and [1]-[1]+. The sensitivities to measure the hyperon decay parameters in these decays are evaluated based on the helicity amplitudes. The prospects to test the Bell inequality in experiment using the decay of ηc→∧∧ are discussed.  相似文献

The scaling properties of three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic turbulence with finite magnetic helicity are obtained from direct numerical simulations using 512(3) modes. The results indicate that the turbulence does not follow the Iroshnikov-Kraichnan phenomenology. The scaling exponents of the structure functions can be described by a modified She-Leveque model zeta(p) = p/9+1-(1/3)(p/3), corresponding to basic Kolmogorov scaling and sheetlike dissipative structures. In particular, we find zeta(2) approximately 0.7, consistent with the energy spectrum E(k) approximately k(-5/3) as observed in the solar wind, and zeta(3) approximately 1, confirming a recent analytical result.  相似文献

We study exclusive electroproduction of two hadrons where one or both of the hadrons is a higherspin resonance whose decay is analysed. Interesting electroproduction experiments of this type are discussed. A complete formal apparatus is given for the decay analysis of spin-J particles produced in this way with polarized or unpolarized electron beams and targets. The cases J = 1, 3/2, 2 and 5/2 are worked out in detail. A conventional helicity frame analysis in terms of s-channel helicity amplitudes is given. Also we rearrange the formalism for use in the Gottfried-Jackson frame with everything given in terms of t-channel helicity amplitudes. The t-channel formalism makes it possible to completely separate the contributions from longitudinal and transverse virtual photon t-channel helicity states when only the laboratory azimuthal angle between the lepton and hadron planes is variable.  相似文献

It is important to be able to quantitatively assay future measurements of competing observables consistent with the coupling predictions for decay, so plots of the values of these helicity parameters are given in terms of a “ + Additional Lorentz Structure”. Three phase-type ambiguities are shown to exist, but measurement of the sign of the large interference between the W longitudinal/transverse amplitudes will resolve two of them. The large effects in both and amplitudes from some couplings demonstrate that it is less model dependent to measure helicity parameters, instead of setting limits on some arbitrary subset of coupling constants. The helicity dependence of the γ ppη reaction has been measured for the first time at a center-of-mass angle θ* η = 70° in the photon energy range from 780 MeV to 790 MeV. The experiment, performed at the Mainz microtron MAMI, used a 4π-detector system, a circularly polarized, tagged photon beam, and a longitudinally polarized frozen-spin target. The helicity 3/2 cross-section is found to be small and the results for helicity 1/2 agree with predictions from the MAID analysis. The formalisms of helicity coupling amplitudes for J/ψ→π^+π^-π^0 are presented. A detailed discussion is also given on the barrier factor, Breit Wigner, and density matrix. A Monte Carlo simulation of J/ψ→ρ(770)π→π^+π^-π^0 is carried out. The results show that the p(770) resonance is well reproduced compared with experimental data.  相似文献

We use the transverse momentum spectrum of leptons in the decay chain t-->bW with W-->lnu to measure the helicity of the W bosons in the top quark rest frame. Our measurement uses a t&tmacr; sample isolated in 106+/-4 pb(-1) of data collected in p&pmacr; collisions at sqrt[s] = 1.8 TeV with the CDF detector at the Fermilab Tevatron. Assuming a standard V-A weak decay, we find that the fraction of W's with zero helicity in the top rest frame is F0 = 0.91+/-0. 37(stat)+/-0.13(syst), consistent with the standard model prediction of F0 = 0.70 for a top mass of 175 GeV/c(2).  相似文献

The self-similar relaxation of helicity in homogeneous turbulence has been considered taking into account integral invariants ∫ 0 r m u(x)ω(x + r)〉 dr = I m h (where ω = curlu and r = |r|). It has been shown that integral invariants with m = 3 for both helicity and energy are possible in addition to helical analogs of Loitsyanskii (m = 4) and Birkhoff-Saffman (m = 2) invariants associated with the conservation laws of momentum and angular momentum, respectively. Helicity always relaxes more rapidly than the energy. Its decay exponent is in the interval from ?3/2 to ?5/2 versus the interval from ?6/5 to ?10/7 for the energy.  相似文献

The doubly radiative decay process J/ψ→γ+X,X→γ+V,V→2P(or 3P) is discussed in this paper.For the intermediate state X with various spin-parity JP,the corresponding helicity formalism of angular distribution formulas and the moments developed from the generalized moment analysis are presented.They are helpful for determining the spin of the intermediate state.  相似文献
