The phase composition of Y x Ba1?x CuO y (x = 0.29?0.40) samples annealed in air (at 930?C990°C) and in an oxygen atmosphere (450?C800°C, P(O2) = 101 kPa) was studied by X-ray powder diffraction, chemical analysis, electron diffraction, and elemental analysis in a transmission electron microscope. A considerable cation nonstoichiometry was discovered in particles having the tetragonal and orthorhombic structures of YBa2Cu3O6 + ??. The variation range of particle compositions comprises matrix oxides of the Ba m Cu m + n O y series with (Ba: Cu) 3: 5, 5: 8, 2: 3, and 5: 7, which in the presence of yttrium form the Y n Ba m Cu m + n O y series. Tetragonal oxides Y2Ba3Cu5O y (235), Y3Ba5Cu8O y (358), YBa2Cu3O y (123), and Y2Ba5Cu7O y (257) are formed at the primary synthesis step in air and are preserved in an orthorhombic structure during short-term (1 h) oxygen annealing. Most particles of the 3: 5 and 5: 8 oxides are undersaturated with yttrium relative to the stoichiometry of the Y n Ba m Cu m + n O y series, those of the 2: 3 oxide correspond to this stoichiometry, and those of the 5: 7 oxide are supersaturated with yttrium over the stoichiometry. A trend is observed for the fractions of these oxides to change during long-term (5?C51 h) annealing in an oxygen atmosphere at 450°C and to the alternation of the dominant role of one of the four phases with the superconducting transition temperature T c = 82, 85, 86, and 91 K. Each orthorhombic oxide undergoes structural transformations during oxygen annealing with a change in T c. The coexistence of these oxides in the form of nanometer-sized domains does not allow their individual superstructures to be recognized.  相似文献

A new niobate compound with the chemical composition of Ba5LiTiNb9O30 was synthesized by doping Li^ into the system BaO-TiO2-Nb2O5 in conventional solid state reaction method. The crystalline structure was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD). The results showed that crystal structure of Ba5LiTiNb9O30 belongs to tetragonal tungsten bronze structure with space group P4bm and its unit cell parameters: a=b=1.2512(2) nm, c=0.4008(5)nm. An experimental and theoretical study on the reactivity of neutral Ba atoms with water clusters has been conducted to unravel the origin of the irregular intensity pattern observed in one-photon ionization mass spectra of a Ba(H(2)O)(n)/BaOH(H(2)O)(n-1) (n = 1-4) cluster distribution, which was generated in a laser vaporization-supersonic expansion source. The most remarkable irregular feature is the finding for n = 1 of a lower intensity for the Ba(+)(H(2)O)(n) peak with respect to that of BaOH(+)(H(2)O)(n-1), which is opposite to the trend for n = 2-4. Rationalization of the data required consideration of a distinct behavior of ground-state and electronically excited state Ba atoms in inelastic and reactive Ba + (H(2)O)(n) encounters that can occur in the cluster source. Within this picture, the generation of Ba(H(2)O)(n) (n > 1) association products results from stabilizing collisions with atoms of the carrier gas, which are favored by intramolecular vibrational redistribution that operates on the corresponding collision intermediates prior to stabilization; the latter is unlikely to occur for Ba + (H(2)O) encounters. Overall, this interpretation is consistent with additional in-source laser excitation and quenching experiments, which aimed to explore qualitatively the effect of perturbing the Ba atom electronic state population distribution on the observed intensity pattern, as well as with the energetics of various possible reactions for the Ba + H(2)O system that derive from high level ab initio calculations.  相似文献

Fundamentally different behavior of Ba–Bi–O (Ba : Bi = 11 : 4, 1 : 1, 2: 3, and 1 : 5 mol/mol) and KnBamBim+nOy (m = n = 1, 2,...; exhibiting superconducting properties with Tc = 28–32 K) oxides and BaO2 in hydrolysis reactions has been revealed by means of potentiometry and chemical analysis. Products of the oxides treatment with water do not contain H2O2, evidencing the absence of peroxide ions in their structure. The perovskite-type barium-bismuth(III) oxides are completely hydrolyzed into Ba(OH)2 and Bi2O3 at room temperature.  相似文献

利用CO2-TPD技术考察了Ba-La2O3系催化剂的表面碱性,实验发现,催化剂表面仅有单一的强碱位或中碱位时,其催化性能均较差。只有表面的中碱位与强碱位以适当量共同存在的样品(6%Ba-La2O3),才能获得好的催化活性和C2选择性。此碱性特征可能有利于表面活性位的产生。同时利用XRD和XPS等技术分别对体相结构和表面氧物种进行了研究。结果表明,Ba-La2O3系催化剂表面存在O2^2-离子,但  相似文献

Gas-phase reactions of hydrated divalent alkaline earth metal ions and benzene were investigated by electrospray ionization Fourier-transform mass spectrometry. Rate constants for solvent-exchange reactions were determined as a function of hydration extent for Mg2+, Ca2+, Sr2+, and Ba2+ clusters containing four to seven water molecules each. All of the strontium and barium clusters react quickly with benzene. Barium reacts slightly faster than the corresponding strontium cluster with the same number of water molecules attached. For calcium, clusters with four and five water molecules react quickly, whereas those with six and seven water molecules do not. Magnesium with four water molecules reacts quickly, but not when five through seven water molecules are attached. The slow reactivity observed for some of these clusters indicates that the cation-pi interaction between the metal ion and benzene is partially screened by the surrounding water molecules. The reactivity of magnesium with seven water molecules is intermediate that of the hexa- and pentahydrate and the tetrahydrate. This result is consistent with the seventh water molecule being in the outer shell and much more weakly bound. The unusual trend in reactivity observed for magnesium may be due to the presence of mixed shell structures observed previously. These results are the first to provide information about the relative importance of cation-pi interactions in divalent metal ions as a function of metal hydration extent. Such studies should also provide a model and some insight into the relative binding affinities of divalent metal ions to aromatic residues on peptides and proteins.  相似文献

Chemical effects on the / X-ray intensity ratio of Ba, La and Ce were investigated. The vacancies in the L shell were created by 59.5 keV γ-rays from an Am-241 radioactive source and the L X-rays were measured using a Si(Li) detector with resolution 160 eV at 5.9 keV. Although k0-factors and related nuclear data for 122 radionuclides of interest in (n,) reactor neutron activation analysis have been tabulated, there are still some reactions attracting interest with respect to the accuracy of the literature data. The present paper deals with the reaction130Ba(n,)131Ba, for which a more accurate half-life is proposed, together with re-evaluated Q0 and k0 factors. The new values are 11.53 days for T, 21.3 for Q0, and for the k0's 3.90×10–5, 2.75×10–5, 1.92×10–5 and 6.48×10–5 for the -rays at 123.8 keV, 216.1 keV, 373.2 keV and 496.3 keV, respectively.  相似文献

Substitution of Ca by La in initial cubic double perovskite Ba4(Ca2Nb2)O11[VO]1 allowed obtaining phases with a similar structure with a lower content of structural oxygen vacancies, Ba4(La x Ca2 ? x Nb2)O11 + 0.5x [VO]1 ? 0.5x (x = 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2). The impedance technique was used to measure the temperature dependences of conductivity in the atmosphere of dry and humid air. Transport numbers determined using the EMF method in an oxygen-air and water steam concentration cells point to the predominantly hole nature of conductivity in the high-temperature region (T > 600°C) and to predominance of proton conductivity in the low-temperature region. Activation energies of hole and proton conductivity were calculated. Thermogravimetric measurements were carried out under heating from 25 to 1000°C with simultaneous mass-spectrometric determination of evolved H2O and CO2. The properties of the studied Ba4(La x Ca2 ? x Nb2)O11 + 0.5x (x = 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2) phases were compared with the earlier studied Ba4 ? x La x (Ca2Nb2)O11 + 0.5x phases with similar lanthanum content.  相似文献

利用CO2-TPD法考察了La-Me-O(Me=Mg,Ca,Sr,Ba)系催化剂的表面碱性,并用O2-TPD,C4-TPD法对该体系的表面活性氧种进行了表征,并与催化性能相关联,结果表明,La-Ba-O催化剂由于表面强碱性中心数目多,产生活性氧种的数目也多,有利于甲烷的活性,因而具有最高的甲烷转化率和C2烃选择性,脉冲反应表明,在无气相氧存在下,表面晶格氧参与了氧化偶联,而且是选择氧化的活性氧种。  相似文献

The reactions of Cl2O with the cluster ions X(D2O)n=0–4 (X = O, OD, O2, DO2, and O3) were studied in a He buffer gas at temperatures within the range 171–298 K and pressures of 0.27–0.51 Torr, using a flow-tube apparatus. All ions were found to react with Cl2O at rates slower than predicted by the collision rate and the charge center was transferred from X to Cl or ClO. The primary product ions Cl(DOCl) and ClO(DOCl) were observed to react further to produce the ions Cl3O and Cl3O2. The rate constants for the observed reactions are reported and the role that thermodynamics plays in determining possible reaction channels is discussed.  相似文献

Density functionla theory (DFT) calculations are performed to characterize geometric and electronic features of the octahedral Al n N n and Al n P n cages (n = 12, 16, 28, 32, and 48). Toward this aim, 15N, 27Al, and 31P chemical shielding (CS) tensors as well as natural charge analyses are calculated for the optimized structures. CS parameters detect three distinct electronic environments for atoms within the Al n N n and Al n P n cages. The chemical shifts of N2 sites belonging to a hexagon and surrounded by three hexagons and a square obtained are different from those of N3 sites belonging to a hexagon that is surrounded only by hexagons—due to different curvatures exerted at the sites with different local structures. In addition, there is an increasing tendency in the Δσ values of the three local structures, Δσ (N1) > Δσ (N2) > Δσ (N3), N1 sites belonging to four-membered rings. The chemical shieldings of those Al and P sites belonging to a hexagon that is surrounded only by hexagons in the cages (360.7–366.7 and 496.5–514.7 ppm) are close to those previously reported for AlP nanotubes. Three distinct electrostatic environments around the N, Al, and P nuclei are also confirmed by the calculated natural charges. It should be noted that the positively charged Al atoms on the cages turn out to be the available sites for adsorption of H2 molecules.  相似文献

A careful study of the Raman spectra of aqueous solutions containing X2O7n− anions, where X = P, n = 4; X = Cr or Se, n = 2, has shown for the first time that in all cases the δX-O-X bending mode occurs below 100 cm−1. In addition, further information on the XO3 terminal stretches was obtained from FTIR spectra of the aqueous solutions. Production of doubly charged ions of alkaline earth metals Ba2+ and Ca2+ and their doubly charged clusters with water molecules (H2O)n · Ba2+, (H2O)n · Ca2+ (n = 1, 2, 3) by means of low temperature fast atom bombardment technique is observed in the case of crystalline hydrates of BaCl2 and CaCl2 salts, formed during freezing of water-salt solutions. Reasons for a possibility of production of the doubly charged species in the case of the two indicated salts and their absence in the case of chlorides of some other divalent metals (Mg, Mn, Co, Cu, Zn) are discussed. As to singly charged secondary ions Me+, MeCl+, MeOH+, [(H2O)n · MeCl]+, [(H2O)n · MeOH]+ (where Me is metal), high efficiency of their production from crystalline hydrates was observed and possible explanation of the phenomenon is suggested.  相似文献

Storage-reduction of NOx by carbon monoxide was investigated over combined catalysts of Mn/Ba/Al2O3-Pt/Ba/Al2O3. Combination of Mn/Ba/Al2O3 and Pt/Ba/Al2O3 catalysts in different ways showed excellent NOx storage-reduction performance and the content of Pt could be reduced by 50%. Not only the addition of 5Mn/15Ba/Al2O3 to lPt/15Ba/Al2O3 could improve its storage ability, but also enhance the NOx conversion consequently. NOx conversion over the combined catalysts (the combined catalysts I and II) was increased under dynamic lean-rich burn conditions, the maximum NOx conversion increased from 69.4% to respectively 78.8% and 75.7% over two combined catalysts.  相似文献
