In order to develop a cathode that can be used in intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells (ITSOFC), the double perovskite material GdBaCo2O5+x has been prepared and its electrode performance investigated at temperatures below 700 °C by AC impedance spectroscopy. Preliminary results show that the ASRs of GdBaCo2O5+x cathode materials are as low as 0.53 Ω cm2 at 645 °C. This encouraging data identifies GdBaCo2O5+x as a potential cathode material for ITSOFCs.  相似文献

GdBaCo2O5+δ体系的低频内耗研究表明:体系中存在一个由额外氧运动引起的弛豫内耗峰;额外氧δ对这个弛豫内耗峰的大小、峰形及峰位有较大影响,反映了额外氧状态随δ而变化.当δ=0.005,体系中额外氧含量很少而接近零时,相应的内耗峰消失;δ达到一定数量后,出现弛豫内耗峰.由δ=0.278,0.407,0.421,0.515样品的弛豫内耗峰分析可得到体系随δ不同存在着三种不同的额外氧形态.此外,δ=0.421及0.515的样品在360K附近存在一个相变内耗峰,它对应着体系中的金属-绝缘体转变.  相似文献

Thermoelectric power measurements have been performed for an ordered oxygen-deficient perovskite, HoBaCo2O5.5, in which the alternative layers of CoO6 octahedra and of [CoO(5)](2) bipyramids are occupied by Co3+ species. The T-dependent Seebeck coefficient S shows a clear change of the conduction regime at the metal-insulator (MI) transition (T(MI) approximately 285 K). The sign change of S from S<0 to S>0 can be explained assuming that a spin state transition occurs at T(MI). In the metallic state, Co2+ e(g) electrons are moving in a broad band on the background of high or intermediate spin Co3+ species. In contrast, the insulating behavior may result from the Co3+ spin state transition to a low-spin Co3+ occurring in the octahedra. In this phase the transport would occur by hopping of the low-spin Co(4+)t(2g) holes, whereas the high-spin Co2+ electrons become immobilized due to a spin blockade.  相似文献

A new fast Ag+ ion conducting glassy system: x[0.75AgI:0.25AgCl]: (1−x)[Ag2O: P2O5], where 0.1 ≤ x ≤ 1 in molar weight fraction, has been synthesized by melt-quench technique using a high-speed twin roller-quencher. An alternate host salt: ‘quenched [0.75AgI: 0.25AgCl] mixed system/ solid solution’, has been used in place of the traditional host AgI. The compositional dependence conductivity studies on the glassy systems: x[0.75AgI:0.25AgCl]: (1−x)[Ag2O: P2O5] as well as xAgI: (1−x)[Ag2O: P2O5] prepared identically, indicated that the composition at x=0.75 exhibited the highest room temperature conductivity. The composition: 0.75[0.75AgI: 0.25AgCl]: 0.25[Ag2O: P2O5] has been referred to as optimum conducting composition (OCC). The study also revealed that the new/ alternate host yielded better electrolyte system. The activation energy (Ea), involved in the thermally activated conductivity process has been computed from ‘log σ − 1/T’ Arrhenius plot. Heat and charge conduction were measured in the heavy-fermion metal CeRhIn(5), an antiferromagnet with T(N)=3.8 K. The thermal resistivity is found to be proportional to the magnetic entropy, revealing that spin fluctuations are as effective in scattering electrons as they are in disordering local moments. The electrical resistivity, governed by a q(2) weighting of fluctuations, increases monotonically with temperature. In contrast, the difference between thermal and electrical resistivities, characterized by a omega(2) weighting, peaks sharply at T(N) and eventually goes to zero at a temperature T(*) approximately = 8 K. T(*) thus emerges as a measure of the characteristic energy of magnetic fluctuations.  相似文献

The infrared (900-1100 cm(-1)) Faraday rotation and circular dichroism are measured in the normal state of underdoped High T(c) superconductors and used to study the magnetotransport. YBa2Cu3O6+x thin films are investigated in the temperature range 10-300 K in magnetic fields up to 8 T and as a function of oxygen concentration. A dramatic increase of the Hall frequency is observed for underdoped samples, which is not consistent with the approach to a Mott transition but is consistent with a partial gapping of the Fermi surface as predicted in density wave models.  相似文献

Crystals of the BaBi x O1.5x+1 family are studied using X-ray diffraction, calorimetric, and impedance methods. It is shown that the compounds with x>5 are thermally stable in the temperature range as wide as 300–870 K, in spite of the first-order phase transition with a large heat effect. The conductivity is found to be anisotropic both in low- and high-temperature phases.  相似文献

Resonant magnetic modes with odd and even symmetries were studied by inelastic neutron scattering experiments in the bilayer high-Tc superconductor Y1-xCa+Ba2Cu3O6+y over a wide doping range. The threshold of the spin excitation continuum in the superconducting state, deduced from the energies and spectral weights of both modes, is compared with the superconducting d-wave gap, deduced from electronic Raman scattering in the B1g symmetry on the same samples. Above a critical doping level of delta approximately =0.19, both mode energies and the continuum threshold coincide. We find a simple scaling relationship between the characteristic energies and spectral weights of both modes, which indicates that the resonant modes are bound states in the superconducting energy gap, as predicted by the spin-exciton model of the resonant mode.  相似文献

We report the first observation of coherent magnetic excitations in a spin ladder system NaV2O5 by using femtosecond time-domain spectroscopy. A pronounced coherent oscillation is observed at 127 cm(-1) (nearly twice the spin gap energy) and assigned to a two-magnon bound state, based on the temperature dependence of the intensity below the charge ordering phase transition at T(C) = 34 K. This mode can be observable only when circularly polarized light is used as a pump or a probe beam, suggesting that it corresponds to a spin-flip excitation from the singlet ground state. A phonon mode strongly coupled to the spin state is also found at 303 cm(-1).  相似文献

(Ta_2O_5)_(1-x)(TiO_2)_x陶瓷结构相变研究   总被引:2,自引:2,他引:0  
采用固相反应技术制备了x分别为 0 0 5、0 0 8和 0 1 1的 (Ta2 O5) 1-x(TiO2 ) x 陶瓷 ;在室温至 6 0 0℃范围内 ,测量了这些陶瓷样品的拉曼光谱随温度的变化。随着温度的升高 ,拉曼光谱中位于 35~38cm- 1的最低频移的声子模发生软化 ,并随之发生结构相变。拉曼光谱和实验结果都表明 :组分x分别为0 0 5、0 0 8和 0 1 1的 (Ta2 O5) 1-x(TiO2 ) x 陶瓷分别在 36 0、4 5 0和 5 4 0℃发生了由三斜至单斜相的结构相变。上述结论得到了 (Ta2 O5) 0 92 (TiO2 ) 0 0 8单晶热膨胀系数测量数据的支持。  相似文献

Homogeneous (LiCl) x (P2O5)1 − x glasses were synthesised using a melt-quenching method for x = 0.1–0.6 in the interval of 0.05. The amorphous structure of the samples was evident by the X-ray diffraction spectrum. The short range structures of the binary phosphate samples were examined by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, whilst the density of the samples was measured as supportive data for the investigations. The results of refractive indices as measured using an ellipsometer reveal the homogeneity of samples and was found to depend on the glass composition. The electrical properties of the glasses were investigated by ac impedance spectroscopy from 10 mHz to 1 MHz for temperatures ranging from room temperature to 573 K. An estimation of the bulk resistivity was obtained by taking the intercepts on the real axis at low frequencies of the complex impedance plot. The dc conductivities derived from the reciprocal of resistivity values were found to obey the Arrhenius relationship, and its activation energy shows a decreasing trend with the increase in LiCl content in the glass. Lastly, an equivalent circuits consisting of real and complex capacitors is proposed to describe the dielectric response of the glass.  相似文献

Detailed behavior of the magnetoresistance (MR) is studied in lightly doped antiferromagnetic La(1.99)Sr(0.01)CuO(4), where, thanks to the weak-ferromagnetic moment due to spin canting, the antiferromagnetic (AF) domain structure can be manipulated by the magnetic field. The MR behavior demonstrates that CuO(2) planes indeed contain antiphase AF-domain boundaries in which charges are confined, forming antiphase stripes. The data suggest that a high magnetic field turns the antiphase stripes into in-phase stripes, and the latter appear to give better conduction than the former, which challenges the notion that the antiphase character of stripes facilitates charge motion.  相似文献

The atomic scale oxidation of the alpha-SiC(0001)-(3 x 3) surface is investigated by atom-resolved scanning tunneling microscopy, core level synchrotron radiation based photoemission spectroscopy, and infrared absorption spectroscopy. The results reveal that the initial oxidation takes place through the relaxation of lower layers, away from the surface dangling bond, in sharp contrast to silicon oxidation.  相似文献

We show that finite angular momentum pairing chiral superconductors on the triangular lattice have point zeroes in the complex gap function. A topological quantum phase transition takes place through a nodal superconducting state at a specific carrier density x(c) where the normal state Fermi surface crosses the isolated zeros. For spin-singlet pairing, we show that the second-nearest-neighbor (d+id)-wave pairing can be the dominant pairing channel. The gapless critical state at x (c) approximately 0.25 has six Dirac points and is topologically nontrivial with a T3 spin relaxation rate below T(c). This picture provides a possible explanation for the unconventional superconducting state of Na(x)Co O(2). yH(2)O. Analyzing a pairing model with strong correlation using the Gutzwiller projection and symmetry arguments, we study these topological phases and phase transitions as a function of Na doping.  相似文献
