Nonlinear quantum-mechanical equations are derived for Langmuir waves in an isotropic electron collisionless plasma. A general analysis of dispersion relations is carried out for complex spectra of Langmuir waves and van Kampen waves in a quantum plasma with an arbitrary electron momentum distribution. Quantum nonlinear collisionless Landau damping in Maxwellian and degenerate plasmas is studied. It is shown that collisionless damping of Langmuir waves (including zero sound) occurs in collisionless plasmas due to quantum correction in the Cherenkov absorption condition, which is a purely quantum effect. Solutions to the quantum dispersion equation are obtained for a degenerate plasma.  相似文献

A generalization of the well known Bogolyubov-Zubarev method is used to obtain an averaged kinetic equation for a rarefied plasma located in a strong magnetic field and an hf field of quasimonochromatic wave packets. The possibility of using the Faraday effect for the diagnostics of magnetic fields in a dense plasma is theoretically demonstrated. A procedure for measuring the plane of polariztion of the probing radiation is examined in detail, with account taken of the wave polarization and of the presence of plasma self-luminosity. A procedure for determining the spatial distribution of the magnetic field is described. A new three-channel polarointerferometer scheme is proposed. Langmuir waves in a relativistic plasma are considered using kinetic equations without consideration of captured particles. The level and the angular distribution of Langmuir oscillations in a dense plasma produced on the Phoenix plasma radiation source (PRS) were measured. Line profiles of several lines in the Lyman series of Al XIII were measured using crystal spectrometers. A spectral line shape model was used, which attempted to take into account all significant broadening mechanisms. The parameters of the plasma and the Langmuir oscillations were found by generating profiles using the model and comparing these profiles to the experimental spectra. The strength of the Langmuir oscillations was found to be E0≈1-9 GV/cm, indicative of a strong Langmuir turbulence. The polarization analysis of the profiles of the Al XIII Lyman γ line has shown that the Langmuir oscillations develop anisotropically, primarily in the direction of the plasma current  相似文献

We show that the set of generalized Zakharov equations which take into account the self-magnetic field reduce under certain circumstances to a generalized non-linear Schrödinger equation. The effect of spin of particles is studied using a semi-classical kinetic theory for a magnetized plasma. No other quantum effects are included. We focus in the simple damping effects for the electrostatic wave modes. Besides Landau damping, we show that spin produces two new different effects of damping or instability which are proportional to ?. 在碰撞等离子体中使用单探针测量系统测得的伏安特性曲线会发生畸变. 实验中分别测量了非碰撞条件下(20 Pa)和碰撞条件下(400 Pa)氩气(Ar)电感耦合等离子体的单探针伏安特性曲线, 并进一步通过在400 Pa下测量不同位置处的单探针伏安特性曲线和引入干扰电极调节整体电中性约束的程度的方法来分析研究曲线的畸变现象. 结果表明碰撞等离子体中整体电中性约束条件会对非碰撞探针测量系统进行约束, 并通过理论分析和实验证明:在单探针测量过程中, 以真空室壁为电位参考点, 等离子体将通过改变自身等离子体电位来满足整体电中性的要求, 此时, 单探针测得的伏安特性曲线就不是理论上的单探针的鞘层伏安特性.  相似文献

Ion sound wave excitation in a warm non-relativistic (Wb ≤ 400 eV) electron beam unmagnetized plasma system is studied experimentally. The spectrum of these waves shows two peaks at frequencies of 70 and 230 kHz respectively. The origin of these waves is connected with modulational instability and cavity collapse. We show that the energy of bulk accelerated electrons can explain the measured value of krDe for high-frequency sound waves. The energy of ion sound waves is not high enough to have an influence on the Langmuir turbulence dynamics.  相似文献

本文采用了动理论模型对电磁波在等离子体中的传播特性进行了研究.建立了与该模型相关的麦克斯韦-玻尔兹曼(MB)方程组,并采用FDTD方法加以求解,得到了等离子体区域内的粒子分布函数及空间中的电场分布.此外,本文还计算了电磁波入射到等离子体平板上的反射及透射系数,并将数值计算结果与解析解结果进行了比较,验证了该方法的正确性.  相似文献
