Recently, it has become an important problem to confirm the bifurcation threshold value of a chaos detectionsystem for a weak signal in the fields of chaos detection. It is directly related to whether the results of chaos detectionare correct or not. In this paper, the discrimination system for the dynamic behaviour of a chaos detection system fora weak signal is established by using the theory of linear differential equation with periodic coefficients and computingthe Lyapunov exponents of the chaos detection system; and then, the movement state of the chaos detection system isdefined. The simulation experiments show that this method can exactly confirm the bifurcation threshold value of thechaos detection svstem.  相似文献

讨论了具有有界随机参数的随机Bonhoeffer-Van der Pol系统的随机混沌现象,并利用噪声对其进行控制.首先运用Chebyshev多项式逼近的方法,将随机Bonhoeffer-Van der Pol系统转化为等价的确定性系统,使原系统的随机混沌控制问题转换为等价的确定性系统的确定性混沌控制问题,继而可用Lyapunov指数指标来研究等价确定性系统的确定性混沌现象和控制问题.数值结果表明,随机Bonhoeffer-Van der Pol系统的随机混沌现象与相应的确定性Bonhoeffer-Van der Pol系统极为相似.利用噪声控制法可将混沌控制到周期轨道,但是在随机参数及其强度的影响下也呈现出一些特点.  相似文献

Discretization of phase space usually nullifies chaos in dynamical systems. We show that if randomness is associated with discretization dynamical chaos may survive and be indistinguishable from that of the original chaotic system, when an entropic, coarse-grained analysis is performed. Relevance of this phenomenon to the problem of quantum chaos is discussed.  相似文献

We address the problem of chaotic temperature dependence in disordered glassy systems at equilibrium by following states of a random-energy random-entropy model in temperature; of particular interest are the crossings of the free-energies of these states. We find that this model exhibits strong, weak or no temperature chaos depending on the value of an exponent. This allows us to write a general criterion for temperature chaos in disordered systems, predicting the presence of temperature chaos in the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick and Edwards-Anderson spin glass models, albeit when the number of spins is large enough. The absence of chaos for smaller systems may justify why it is difficult to observe chaos with current simulations. We also illustrate our findings by studying temperature chaos in the naıve mean field equations for the Edwards-Anderson spin glass. Received 27 March 2002 Published online 19 July 2002  相似文献

研究了谐和激励下含有界随机参数Duffing系统(简称随机Duffing系统)中的随机混沌及其延迟反馈控制问题.借助Gegenbauer多项式逼近理论,将随机Duffing系统转化为与其等效的确定性非线性系统.这样,随机Duffing系统在谐和激励下的混沌响应及其控制问题就可借等效的确定性非线性系统来研究.分析阐明了随机混沌的主要特点,并采用Wolf算法计算等效确定性非线性系统的最大Lyapunov指数,以判别随机Duffing系统的动力学行为.数值计算表明,恰当选取不同的反馈强度和延迟时间,可分别达到抑制或诱发系统混沌的目的,说明延迟反馈技术对随机混沌控制也是十分有效的. 关键词: 随机Duffing系统 延迟反馈控制 随机混沌 Gegenbauer多项式  相似文献

针对Lorenz混沌系统,研究其有限时间稳定控制问题.考虑系统存在不确定非线性,提出一种可使受控Lorenz系统实现近似有限时间稳定的控制方法.改进并设计一种扩张状态观测器,解决了受控Lorenz系统中不确定非线性未知问题.通过引入奇异扰动性理论,分析了闭环系统的近似有限时间稳定性.仿真实验结果验证了该控制方法及扩张状态观测器的有效性. 关键词: Lorenz混沌系统 近似有限时间稳定 扩张状态观测器 奇异扰动  相似文献

Buckling of an elastic linkage under general loading is investigated. We show that buckling is related to an initial value problem, which is always a conservative, area-preserving mapping, even if the original static problem is nonconservative. In some special cases, we construct the global bifurcation diagrams, and argue that their complicated structure is a consequence of spatial chaos. We characterize spatial chaos by the associated initial value problem's topological entropy, which turns out to be related to the number of buckled configurations.  相似文献

The synchronization of two different chaotic oscillators is studied. First, this problem is understood in terms of chaos suppression. Next, a robust asymptotic controller is used in the chaos control. The robust controller comprises an uncertainty estimator and a linearizing control law. In this way, synchronization is obtained despite the master model being strictly different from the slave model. In fact, the controller does not know the master oscillator model.  相似文献

Statistically distinguishing between phase-coherent and noncoherent chaotic dynamics from time series is a contemporary problem in nonlinear sciences. In this work, we propose different measures based on recurrence properties of recorded trajectories, which characterize the underlying systems from both geometric and dynamic viewpoints. The potentials of the individual measures for discriminating phase-coherent and noncoherent chaotic oscillations are discussed. A detailed numerical analysis is performed for the chaotic Ro?ssler system, which displays both types of chaos as one control parameter is varied, and the Mackey-Glass system as an example of a time-delay system with noncoherent chaos. Our results demonstrate that especially geometric measures from recurrence network analysis are well suited for tracing transitions between spiral- and screw-type chaos, a common route from phase-coherent to noncoherent chaos also found in other nonlinear oscillators. A detailed explanation of the observed behavior in terms of attractor geometry is given.  相似文献

More and more attention has been focused on effectively generating chaos via simple physical devices. The problem of creating chaotic attractors is considered for a class of nonlinear systems with backlash function in this paper. By utilizing the Silnikov heteroclinic and homoclinic theorems, some sufficient conditions are established to guarantee that the nonlinear system has horseshoe-type chaos. Examples and simulations are given to verify the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

The problem of the existence of Maxwell's Demon (MD) is formulated for systems with dynamical chaos. Property of stickiness of individual trajectories, anomalous distribution of the Poincare recurrence time, and anomalous (non-Gaussian) transport for a typical system with Hamiltonian chaos results in a possibility to design a situation equivalent to the MD operation. A numerical example demonstrates a possibility to set without expenditure of work a thermodynamically non-equilibrium state between two contacted domains of the phase space lasting for an arbitrarily long time. Transition to chaos in the presence of noise is an important problem in nonlinear and statistical physics. Recently, a scaling law has been theoretically predicted which relates the Lyapunov exponent to the noise variation near the transition. Here we present experimental observation of noise-induced chaos in an electronic circuit and obtain the fundamental scaling law characterizing the transition. The experimentally obtained scaling exponent agrees very well with that predicted by theory.  相似文献

We consider a disordered system obtained by coupling two mixed even-spin models together. The chaos problem is concerned with the behavior of the coupled system when the external parameters in the two models, such as, temperature, disorder, or external field, are slightly different. It is conjectured that the overlap between two independently sampled spin configurations from, respectively, the Gibbs measures of the two models is essentially concentrated around a constant under the coupled Gibbs measure. Using the extended Guerra replica symmetry breaking bound together with a recent development of controlling the overlap using the Ghirlanda–Guerra identities as well as a new family of identities, we present rigorous results on chaos in temperature. In addition, chaos in disorder and in external field are addressed.  相似文献

对于离散混沌系统的最小能量控制问题,提出了一种框架性方法,该方法具有通用性.首先,设计一个二次目标函数,同时把混沌系统分解为线性部分和非线性部分两项和.然后,提出了求解非线性最优控制问题的两级算法:第一级对混沌系统中的非线性部分进行预估,以使原系统变为带有常数项的线性系统;第二级用动态规划求解一个非典型线性二次最优控制问题,并把解返回第一级,第一级根据第二级的解对非线性部分重新预估.这样通过两级间不断的信息交换,最终得到混沌系统的最优控制律.该方法不仅实现了对混沌系统的控制,而且在整个控制过程中消耗的控制能量最小. 关键词: 混沌系统 两级优化 最优控制  相似文献

Motivated by the problem of ozone production in atmospheres of urban areas, we consider chemical reactions of the general type: A+B-->2C, in idealized two-dimensional nonlinear flows that can generate Lagrangian chaos. Our aims differ from those in the existing work in that we address the role of transient chaos versus sustained chaos and, more importantly, we investigate the influence of noise. We find that noise can significantly enhance the chemical reaction in a resonancelike manner where the product of the reaction becomes maximum at some optimal noise level. We also argue that chaos may not be a necessary condition for the observed resonances. A physical theory is formulated to understand the resonant behavior. The design of the new compound two-dimensional chaotic function is presented by exploiting two one-dimensional chaotic functions which switch randomly, and the design is used as a chaotic sequence generator which is proved by Devaney’s definition proof of chaos. The properties of compound chaotic functions are also proved rigorously. In order to improve the robustness against difference cryptanalysis and produce avalanche effect, a new feedback image encryption scheme is proposed using the new compound chaos by selecting one of the two one-dimensional chaotic functions randomly and a new image pixels method of permutation and substitution is designed in detail by array row and column random controlling based on the compound chaos. The results from entropy analysis, difference analysis, statistical analysis, sequence randomness analysis, cipher sensitivity analysis depending on key and plaintext have proven that the compound chaotic sequence cipher can resist cryptanalytic, statistical and brute-force attacks, and especially it accelerates encryption speed, and achieves higher level of security. By the dynamical compound chaos and perturbation technology, the paper solves the problem of computer low precision of one-dimensional chaotic function.  相似文献

The influence of uncertainty in the absorption and scattering coefficients on the solution and associated parameters of the radiative transfer equation is studied using polynomial chaos theory. The uncertainty is defined by means of uniform and log-uniform probability distributions. By expanding the radiation intensity in a series of polynomial chaos functions we may reduce the stochastic transfer equation to a set of coupled deterministic equations, analogous to those that arise in multigroup neutron transport theory, with the effective multigroup transfer scattering coefficients containing information about the uncertainty. This procedure enables existing transport theory computer codes to be used, with little modification, to solve the problem. Applications are made to a transmission problem and a constant source problem in a slab. In addition, we also study the rod model for which exact analytical solutions are readily available. In all cases, numerical results in the form of mean, variance and sensitivity are given that illustrate how absorption and scattering coefficient uncertainty influences the solution of the radiative transfer equation.  相似文献
