The reactions of the Group 4 metallocene alkyne complexes, [Cp*2M(η2‐Me3SiC2SiMe3)] ( 1 a : M=Ti, 1 b : M=Zr, Cp*=η5‐pentamethylcyclopentadienyl), with the ferrocenyl nitriles, Fc?C?N and Fc?C?C?C?N (Fc=Fe(η5‐C5H5)(η5‐C5H4)), is described. In case of Fc?C?N an unusual nitrile–nitrile C?C homocoupling was observed and 1‐metalla‐2,5‐diaza‐cyclopenta‐2,4‐dienes ( 3 a , b ) were obtained. As the first step of the reaction with 1 b , the nitrile was coordinated to give [Cp*2Zr(η2‐Me3SiC2SiMe3)(N?C‐Fc)] ( 2 b ). The reactions with the 3‐ferrocenyl‐2‐propyne‐nitrile Fc?C?C?C?N lead to an alkyne–nitrile C?C coupling of two substrates and the formation of 1‐metalla‐2‐aza‐cyclopenta‐2,4‐dienes ( 4 a , b ). For M=Zr, the compound is stabilized by dimerization as evidenced by single‐crystal X‐ray structure analysis. The electrochemical behavior of 3 a , b and 4 a , b was investigated, showing decomposition after oxidation, leading to different redox‐active products.  相似文献

The modes of interaction of donor‐stabilized Group 13 hydrides (E=Al, Ga) were investigated towards 14‐ and 16‐electron transition‐metal fragments. More electron‐rich N‐heterocyclic carbene‐stabilized alanes/gallanes of the type NHC?EH3 (E=Al or Ga) exclusively generate κ2 complexes of the type [M(CO)42‐H3E?NHC)] with [M(CO)4(COD)] (M=Cr, Mo), including the first κ2 σ‐gallane complexes. β‐Diketiminato (′nacnac′)‐stabilized systems, {HC(MeCNDipp)2}EH2, show more diverse reactivity towards Group 6 carbonyl reagents. For {HC(MeCNDipp)2}AlH2, both κ1 and κ2 complexes were isolated, while [Cr(CO)42‐H2Ga{(NDippCMe)2CH})] is the only simple κ2 adduct of the nacnac‐stabilized gallane which can be trapped, albeit as a co‐crystallite with the (dehydrogenated) gallylene system [Cr(CO)5(Ga{(NDippCMe)2CH})]. Reaction of [Co2(CO)8] with {HC(MeCDippN)2}AlH2 generates [(OC)3Co(μ‐H)2Al{(NdippCme)2CH}][Co(CO)4] ( 12 ), which while retaining direct Al?H interactions, features a hitherto unprecedented degree of bond activation in a σ‐alane complex.  相似文献

Reaction of the triamidostannates(II) MeSi{SiMe2N(3,5‐xyl)}3SnLi(OEt2) ( 2a ) and MeSi{SiMe2N(p‐tol)}3SnLi(OEt2) ( 2b ) with [IrCl(CO)(PPh3)2] gave the IrI‐Sn complex [MeSi{SiMe2N(3,5‐xyl)}3SnIr(PPh3)2(CO)] ( 3a ) for the former. In contrast, for the tolyl stannate CH‐activation occurred to give the IrIII compound [MeSi{SiMe2N(p‐tol)}2{SiMe2N(2‐C6H3‐4‐CH3)}SnIr(H)(PPh3)2(CO)] ( 3b ). The latter is thus avoided by introduction of suitably placed substituents in the peripheral aryl groups of the triamidostannate ligand.  相似文献

Syntheses, Structure and Reactivity of η3‐1,2‐Diphosphaallyl Complexes and [{(η5‐C5H5)(CO)2W–Co(CO)3}{μ‐AsCH(SiMe3)2}(μ‐CO)] Reaction of ClP=C(SiMe2iPr)2 ( 3 ) with Na[Mo(CO)35‐C5H5)] afforded the phosphavinylidene complex [(η5‐C5H5)(CO)2Mo=P=C(SiMe2iPr)2] ( 4 ) which in situ was converted into the η1‐1,2‐diphosphaallyl complex [η5‐(C5H5)(CO)2Mo{η3tBuPPC(SiMe2iPr)2] ( 6 ) by treatment with the phosphaalkene tBuP=C(NMe2)2. The chloroarsanyl complexes [(η5‐C5H5)(CO)3M–As(Cl)CH(SiMe3)2] [where M = Mo ( 9 ); M = W ( 10 )] resulted from the reaction of Na[M(CO)35‐C5H5)] (M = Mo, W) with Cl2AsCH(SiMe3)2. The tungsten derivative 10 and Na[Co(CO)4] underwent reaction to give the dinuclear μ‐arsinidene complex [(η5‐C5H5)(CO)2W–Co(CO)3{μ‐AsCH(SiMe3)2}(μ‐CO)] ( 11 ). Treatment of [(η5‐C5H5)(CO)2Mo{η3tBuPPC(SiMe3)2}] ( 1 ) with an equimolar amount of ethereal HBF4 gave rise to a 85/15 mixture of the saline complexes [(η5‐C5H5)(CO)2Mo{η2tBu(H)P–P(F)CH(SiMe3)2}]BF4 ( 18 ) and [Cp(CO)2Mo{F2PCH(SiMe3)2}(tBuPH2)]BF4 ( 19 ) by HF‐addition to the PC bond of the η3‐diphosphaallyl ligand and subsequent protonation ( 18 ) and/or scission of the PP bond by the acid ( 19 ). Consistently 19 was the sole product when 1 was allowed to react with an excess of ethereal HBF4. The products 6 , 9 , 10 , 11 , 18 and 19 were characterized by means of spectroscopy (IR, 1H‐, 13C{1H}‐, 31P{1H}‐NMR, MS). Moreover, the molecular structures of 6 , 11 and 18 were determined by X‐ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

A series of bimetallic silyl halido cuprates consisting of the new tripodal silicon‐based metalloligand [κ3N‐Si(3,5‐Me2pz)3Mo(CO)3]? is presented (pz=pyrazolyl). This metalloligand is straightforwardly accessible by reacting the ambidentate ligand tris(3,5‐dimethylpyrazolyl)silanide ({Si(3,5‐Me2pz)3}?) with [Mo(CO)36‐toluene)]. The compound features a fac‐coordinated tripodal chelating ligand and an outward pointing, “free” pyramidal silyl donor, which is easily accessible for a secondary coordination to other metal centers. Several bimetallic silyl halido cuprates of the general formula [CuX{μ‐κ1Si3N‐Si(3,5‐Me2pz)3Mo(CO)3}]? (X=Cl, Br, I) have been synthesized. The electronic and structural properties of these complexes were probed in detail by X‐ray diffraction analysis, electrospray mass spectrometry, infrared‐induced multiphoton dissociation studies, cyclic voltammetry, spectroelectrochemistry, gas‐phase photoelectron spectroscopy, as well as UV/Vis and fluorescence spectroscopy. The heterobimetallic complexes contain linear two‐coordinate copper(I) entities with the shortest silicon–copper distances reported so far. Oxidation of the anionic complexes in methylene chloride and acetonitrile solutions at ${E{{0\hfill \atop 1/2\hfill}}}$ =?0.60 and ?0.44 V (vs. ferrocene/ferrocenium (Fc/Fc+)), respectively, shows substantial reversibility. Based on various results obtained from different characterization methods, as well as density functional theory calculations, these oxidation events were attributed to the Mo0/MoI redox couple.  相似文献

The reactions of the Group 4 metallocene dichlorides [Cp′2MCl2] ( 1 a : M=Ti, Cp′=Cp*=η5‐pentamethylcyclopentadienyl, 1 b : M=Zr, Cp′=Cp=η5‐cyclopentadienyl) with lithiated MesCH2?C?N gave [Cp*2TiCl(N=C=C(HMes))] ( 3 ; Mes=mesityl) in the case of 1 a . For compound 1 b , a nitrile–nitrile coupling resulted in a five‐membered bridge in 4 . The reaction of the metallocene alkyne complex [Cp*2Zr(η2‐Me3SiC2SiMe3)] ( 2 ) with PhCH2?C?N led in the first step to the unstable product [Cp*2Zr(η2‐Me3SiC2SiMe3)(NC?CH2Ph)] ( 5 ). After the elimination of the alkyne, a mixture of products was formed. By variation of the solvent and the reaction temperature, three compounds were isolated: a diazadiene complex 6 , a bis(keteniminate) complex 7 , and 8 with a keteniminate ligand and a five‐membered metallacycle. Subsequent variation of the Cp ligand and the metal center by using [Cp2Zr] and [Cp*2Ti] with Me3SiC2SiMe3 in the reactions with PhCH2?C?N gave complex mixtures.  相似文献

The reactions of [M(NO)(CO)4(ClAlCl3)] (M=Mo, W) with (iPr2PCH2CH2)2NH, (PNHP) at 90 °C afforded [M(NO)(CO)(PNHP)Cl] complexes (M=Mo, 1a ; W, 1b ). The treatment of compound 1a with KOtBu as a base at room temperature yielded the alkoxide complex [Mo(NO)(CO)(PNHP)(OtBu)] ( 2a ). In contrast, with the amide base Na[N(SiMe3)2], the PNHP ligand moieties in compounds 1a and 1b could be deprotonated at room temperature, thereby inducing dehydrochlorination into amido complexes [M(NO)(CO)(PNP)] (M=Mo, 3a ; W, 3b ; PNP=(iPr2PCH2CH2)2N)). Compounds 3a and 3b have pseudo‐trigonal‐bipyramidal geometries, in which the amido nitrogen atom is in the equatorial plane. At room temperature, compounds 3a and 3b were capable of adding dihydrogen, with heterolytic splitting, thereby forming pairs of isomeric amine‐hydride complexes [Mo(NO)(CO)H(PNHP)] ( 4a(cis) and 4a(trans) ) and [W(NO)(CO)H(PNHP)] ( 4b(cis) and 4b(trans) ; cis and trans correspond to the position of the H and NO groups). H2 approaches the Mo/W?N bond in compounds 3a , 3b from either the CO‐ligand side or from the NO‐ligand side. Compounds 4a(cis) and 4a(trans) were only found to be stable under a H2 atmosphere and could not be isolated. At 140 °C and 60 bar H2, compounds 3a and 3b catalyzed the hydrogenation of imines, thereby showing maximum turnover frequencies (TOFs) of 2912 and 1120 h?1, respectively, for the hydrogenation of N‐(4 ‐ methoxybenzylidene)aniline. A Hammett plot for various para‐substituted imines revealed linear correlations with a negative slope of ?3.69 for para substitution on the benzylidene side and a positive slope of 0.68 for para substitution on the aniline side. Kinetics analysis revealed the initial rate of the hydrogenation reactions to be first order in c(cat.) and zeroth order in c(imine). Deuterium kinetic isotope effect (DKIE) experiments furnished a low kH/kD value (1.28), which supported a Noyori‐type metal–ligand bifunctional mechanism with H2 addition as the rate‐limiting step.  相似文献

The capability of donor‐substituted alkynes to link different metal ions in a side‐on carbon donor‐chelate coordination mode is extended from the donor centers S and P to the second period element N. The complex [Tp′W(CO)22‐C2(S)(NHBn)}] (Tp′=hydrido‐tris(3,5‐dimethylpyrazolyl)borate, Bn=benzyl) bearing a terminal sulfur atom and a secondary amine substituent is accessible by a metal‐template synthesis. Subsequent deprotonation allowed the formation of remarkably stable heterobimetallic complexes with the [(η5‐C5H5)Ru(PPh3)] and the [Ir(ppy)2] moiety. Electrochemical and spectroscopic investigations (cyclic voltammetry, IR, UV/Vis, luminescence, EPR), as well as DFT calculations, and X‐ray structure determinations of the W–Ru complex in two oxidation states reveal a strong metal–metal coupling but also a limited delocalization of excited states.  相似文献

The stable cationic iridacyclopentenylidene [TpMe2Ir(?CHC(Me)?C(Me)C H2(NCMe)]PF6 ( A ; TpMe2=hydrotris(3,5‐dimethylpyrazolyl)borate) has been obtained by α‐hydride abstraction from the iridacyclopent‐2‐ene [TpMe2Ir(CH2C(Me)?C(Me)C H2)(NCMe)]. Complex A exhibits Brønsted–Lowry acidity at the Ir? CH2 and proximal (relative to Ir? CH2) methyl sites. The coordination of an extra molecule of acetonitrile to the iridium center initiates the reversible isomerization of the chelating carbon chain of A to the monodentate butadienyl ligand of complex [TpMe2Ir(CH?C(Me)C(Me)?CH2)(NCMe)2]PF6, which is capable to engage in a water‐promoted C? C coupling with the MeCN co‐ligands. The product is an aesthetically appealing bicyclic structure that resembles the hydrocarbon barrelene.  相似文献

Addition of Cationic Lewis Acids [M′Ln]+ (M′Ln = Fe(CO)2Cp, Fe(CO)(PPh3)Cp, Ru(PPh3)2Cp, Re(CO)5, Pt(PPh3)2, W(CO)3Cp to the Anionic Thiocarbonyl Complexes [HB(pz)3(OC)2M(CS)] (M = Mo, W; pz = 3,5‐dimethylpyrazol‐1‐yl) Adducts from Organometallic Lewis Acids [Fe(CO)2Cp]+, [Fe(CO)(PPh3)Cp]+, [Ru(PPh3)2Cp]+, [Re(CO)5]+, [ Pt(PPh3)2]+, [W(CO)3Cp]+ and the anionic thiocarbonyl complexes [HB(pz)3(OC)2M(CS)] (M = Mo, W) have been prepared. Their spectroscopic data indicate that the addition of the cations occurs at the sulphur atom to give end‐to‐end thiocarbonyl bridged complexes [HB(pz)3(OC)2MCSM′Ln].  相似文献

The hydropyrimidine salan (salan=N,N′‐dimethyl‐N,N′‐bis[(2‐hydroxyphenyl)methylene]‐1,2‐diaminoethane) proteo‐ligands with a rigid backbone {ON^(CH2)^NO}H2 react with M(CH2SiMe3)3 (M=Ga, In) to yield the zwitterions {ON^(CH+)^NO}M?(CH2SiMe3)2 (M=Ga, 2 ; In, 3 ) by abstraction of a hydride from the ligand backbone followed by elimination of dihydrogen. By contrast, with Al2Me6, the neutral‐at‐metal bimetallic complex [{ON^(CH2)^NO}AlMe]2 ( [1]2 ) is obtained quantitatively. The formation of indium zwitterions is also observed with sterically more encumbered ligands containing o‐Me substituents on the phenolic rings, or an N (CHPh) N moiety in the heterocyclic core. Overall, the ease of C?H bond activation follows the order Al?Ga<In. Experimental data based on model complexes, XRD studies, and 2H NMR spectroscopy show that the formation of the Ga/In zwitterion involves rapid release of SiMe4 followed by evolution of H2, and suggest the formation of a transient metal‐hydride species. DFT calculations indicate that the systems {ON^(CH2)^NO}H2+M(CH2SiMe3)3 (M=Al, Ga, In) all initially lead to the formation of the neutral monophenolate dihydrocarbyl species through a single protonolysis. From here, the thermodynamic product, the model neutral‐at‐metal complex 1 , is formed in the case of aluminum after a second protonolysis. On the other hand, lower activation energy pathways lead to the generation of zwitterionic complexes 2 and 3 in the cases of gallium and indium, and the formation of these zwitterions obeys a strict kinetic control; the computations suggest that, as inferred from the experimental data, the reaction proceeds through an instable metal‐hydride species, which could not be isolated synthetically.  相似文献

Homoleptic Amides of Zinc, Cadmium, and Mercury ZnCl2, CdCl2 and HgCl2 react with the lithium salts ( 1 a–5 a ) of the sterically demanding secundary amines HN(SiMe3)Ph ( 1 ), HN(SiMe3)C6H3Me2‐2,6 ( 2 ), HN(SiMe3)C6H3iPr2‐2,6 ( 3 ), HN(SiMe3)C6H3tBu2‐2,5 ( 4 ), and HN(SiMe2NMe2)C6H3iPr2‐2,6 ( 5 ) yielding the corresponding homoleptic metal amides Zn[N(SiMe2R′)R]2 ( 1 b–5 b ), Cd[N(SiMe2R′)R]2 ( 1 c , 5 c ), and Hg[N(SiMe2R′)R]2 ( 1 d–5 d ), respectively. Except the dimeric {Zn[N(SiMe3)Ph]2}2 ( 1 b ), all complexes are monomeric. The compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, molecular weight determinations, NMR and mass spectra. Furthermore, the zinc amides ( 1 b–5 b ) and the mercury amides 1 d–3 d and 5 d were characterized by single crystal X‐ray structure analysis. Except 1 b and 5 b , they show a linear N–M–N arrangement.  相似文献

A procedure for chemoselectively manipulating the strong aliphatic C?F bond with direct transformation into a C?N bond under mild conditions is reported. The activation and subsequent substitution of primary alkyl fluorides is mediated by La[N(SiMe3)2]3, and results in high to excellent yields of tertiary amines. The methodology displays high selectivity towards the C(sp3)?F bond, and a variety of secondary amines are applicable as nucleophiles. Mechanistic investigations reveal a reaction that is first order with respect to [La[N(SiMe3)2]3], [R1R2NH], and [alkyl fluoride], and a 6‐membered cyclic transition state is proposed. In addition, 1H NMR spectroscopy shows that La[N(SiMe3)2]3 is the active species involved in the substitution and that protonolysis of the amine, yielding La[NR1R2]3, lowers the reactivity.  相似文献

Investigations of P–P Bond Formation Reactions in the Coordination Sphere of Transition Metals The reaction of [CpW(CO)3] with PCl3 leads to the transition metal substituted dichlorphosphines [{CpW(CO)3}PCl2] ( 1 ) and [{Cp(CO)3W}PCl2{WCl(CO)2Cp}] ( 2 ). The X‐ray structure of 2 reveals the Lewis acid/base character of this compound. Reactions of 1 and [Cr(CO)5Cp*PCl2], respectively, with metalates of the type [M(CO)3Cp′] (M′ = Mo, W; Cp′ = η5‐C5H4tBu) afford the cyclo‐P3 complexes [(η3‐P3)MCp′(CO)3] ( 3 ) (M = W) and ( 4 ) (M = Mo) and the compounds [(μ,η2‐P2{Cr(CO)5}2){Mo(CO)2Cp}2] ( 5 ) and [{μ3‐PW(CO)3Cp′}{W(CO)2Cp′}2] ( 6 ), respectively. Complex 6 possesses a planar homoleptic W3P moiety revealing delocalised multiple bonds within the W2P‐subunit. Reducing [(CO)5WPCl3] with magnesium leads to the formation of the phosphinidene complex [{(CO)5W}2PCl], whereas the reduction of [CpW(CO)3PCl2] ( 1 ) with magnesium yields the cyclo‐P3 complex 3 together with P4 phosphorus.  相似文献

The diuranium(III) compound [UN′′2]2(μ‐η66‐C6H6) (N′′=N(SiMe3)2) has been studied using variable, high‐pressure single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography, and density functional theory . In this compound, the low‐coordinate metal cations are coupled through π‐ and δ‐symmetric arene overlap and show close metal? CH contacts with the flexible methyl CH groups of the sterically encumbered amido ligands. The metal–metal separation decreases with increasing pressure, but the most significant structural changes are to the close contacts between ligand CH bonds and the U centers. Although the interatomic distances are suggestive of agostic‐type interactions between the U and ligand peripheral CH groups, QTAIM (quantum theory of atoms‐in‐molecules) computational analysis suggests that there is no such interaction at ambient pressure. However, QTAIM and NBO analyses indicate that the interaction becomes agostic at 3.2 GPa.  相似文献

We have investigated the coordination of alkanide and alkynide anions to the coordinatively unsaturated aluminium atoms of the methylene‐bridged dialuminium compound R2Al‐CH2‐AlR2 [ 1 , R = CH(SiMe3)2]. Treatment of 1 with the corresponding lithium derivatives in the presence of a small excess of TMEN (TMEN = tetramethylethylenediamine) yielded mono‐adducts [M]+[R2Al‐CH2‐AlR2R'] [ 2a , M = Li(TMEN)2, R' = Me; 2b , M = Li(TMEN)2, R' = n‐Bu; 3a , M = Li(TMEN)2, R' = C≡C‐SiMe3; 3b , M = Li(TMEN)2, R' = C≡C‐t‐Bu; 3d , M = Li(DME)3, R' = C≡C‐Ph; 3e , M = Li(TMEN)2, R' = C≡C‐PPh2)] and bis‐adducts [Li(TMEN)2]+[LiCH2(AlR2R')2] [ 4a , R' = C≡C‐CH2‐NEt2; 4b , R' = C≡C‐t‐Bu]. In the solid state the mono‐adducts have clearly separated coordinatively saturated (coordination number four) and unsaturated aluminium atoms (coordination number three). In solution the groups R' show a fast exchange between both aluminium atoms as evident from the room temperature NMR spectra that showed in most cases equivalent CH(SiMe3)2 groups despite different coordination spheres of the metal atoms. Only 2b gave the expected splitting of resonances at ambient temperature, while cooling was required to prevent the dynamic process for 3a . The dialkynide 4a has a unique molecular structure with one of the lithium cations bonded to the α‐carbon atoms of the alkynido ligands and to the carbon atom of the methylene bridge which is five‐coordinate with a distorted trigonal bipyramidal coordination sphere.  相似文献

A study of the coordination chemistry of different bis(diphenylphosphino)methanide ligands [Ph2PC(X)PPh2] (X=H, SiMe3) with Group 4 metallocenes is presented. The paramagnetic complexes [Cp2Ti{κ2P,P‐Ph2PC(X)PPh2}] (X=H ( 3 a ), X=SiMe3 ( 3 b )) have been prepared by the reactions of [(Cp2TiCl)2] with [Li{C(X)PPh2}2(thf)3]. Complex 3 b could also be synthesized by reaction of the known titanocene alkyne complex [Cp2Ti(η2‐Me3SiC2SiMe3)] with Ph2PC(H)(SiMe3)PPh2 ( 2 b ). The heterometallacyclic complex [Cp2Zr(H){κ2P,P‐Ph2PC(H)PPh2}] ( 4 aH ) has been prepared by reaction of the Schwartz reagent with [Li{C(H)PPh2}2(thf)3]. Reactions of [Cp2HfCl2] with [Li{C(X)PPh2}2(thf)3] gave the highly strained corresponding metallacycles [Cp2M(Cl){κ2P,P‐Ph2PC(X)PPh2}] ( 5 aCl and 5 bCl ) in very good yields. Complexes 3 a , 4 aH , and 5 aCl have been characterized by X‐ray crystallography. Complex 3 a has also been characterized by EPR spectroscopy. The structure and bonding of the complexes has been investigated by DFT analysis. Reactions of complexes 4 aH , 5 aCl , and 5 bCl did not give the corresponding more unsaturated heterometallacyclobuta‐2,3‐dienes.  相似文献
