Taking into account the intrinsic decoherence,we have investigated quantum correlations in a two-qubit Heisenberg XX model when a nonuniform magnetic field is included. We compare entanglement measured by entanglement of formation, quantum discord and measurement-induced measurement(MID)and illustrate their diferent characteristics.Quantum discord and MID show the same features and always exist even though there is no entanglement in the long time limit. In the time evolution, quantum discord could be generated or enhanced to the stable value, while MID just decreases to the stable value. 相似文献

Quantum correlations in Werner derivatives are studied with two different approaches, i.e., measurement-induced disturbance (MID) [Phys. Rev. A 77 (2008) 022301] and ameliorated MID (AMID) [J. Phys. A 44 (2011) 352002]. They are derived via strict deductions with MID while numerically calculated via the measurement optimization with AMID. Interestingly, quantum correlations captured with both approaches are completely coincident. Moreover, some distinct features of the quantum correlations and their underlying physics are exposed via analyses and discussions. 相似文献

Quantum correlations measured by quantum discord (QD), measurement-induced distance (MID), and geometric measure of quantum discord (GMQD) in two-qubit Heisenberg XY spin chain are investigated. The effects of DM interaction and anisotropic on the three correlations are considered. Characteristics of various correlation measures for the two-qubit states are compared. The increasing D z increases QD, MID and GMQD monotonously while the increasing anisotropy both increases and decreases QD and GMQD. The three quantum correlations are always existent at very high temperature. MID is always larger than QD, but there is no definite ordering between QD and GMQD. 相似文献

In this paper, quantum correlation (QC) swapping for certain separable two-qubit mixed states is treated. A QC quantifier, measurement-induced disturbance (MID) (Luo in Phys Rev A 77:022301, 2008), is employed to characterize and quantify QCs in the relevant states. Properties of all QCs in the swapping process are revealed. Particularly, it is found that MID can be increased through QC swapping for certain separable two-qubit mixed states. 相似文献

Pairwise correlation is really an important property for multi-qubit states. For the two-qubit X states extracted from Dicke states and their superposition states, we obtain a compact expression of the quantum discord by numerical check. We then apply the expression to discuss the quantum correlation of the reduced two-qubit states of Dicke states and their superpositions, and the results are compared with those obtained by entanglement of formation, which is a quantum entanglement measure. 相似文献

Measurement-induced disturbance between two atoms in Tavis-Cummings model with dipole dipole interaction 下载免费PDF全文
Quantum correlation, measured by measurement-induced disturbance (MID), between two two-level atoms is investi- gated in detail in Tavis-Cummings model with dipole--dipole interaction (DDI). We find that MID can be determined only by the dipole-dipole interaction between the two atoms when the cavity and atoms are at resonance. Moreover, DDI will have different effects on MID for two different kinds of initial states. 相似文献

Quantum correlations play vital roles in the quantum features in quantum information processing tasks. Among the measures of quantum correlations, quantum discord (QD) and entanglement of formation (EOF) axe two significant ones. Recent research has shown that there exists a relation between QD and EOF, which makes QD more significant in quantum information theory. However, until now, there exists no general method of chaxaeterizing quantum discord in high-dimensional quantum systems. In this paper, we have proposed a general method for calculating quantum discord in axbitraxy-dimensionM bipaxtite quantum systems in terms of Hurwitz's theory. Applications including the Werner state, the spin-1 XXZ model thermal equilibrium state, the Horodecki state, and the separable-bound-free entanglement state are investigated. We present the method of obtaining the EOF of axbitraxy-dimensional bipaxtite quantum states via purification, and the relations.hip between QD and EOF. 相似文献

Comparison and control of the robustness between quantum entanglement and quantum correlation in an open quantum system 下载免费PDF全文
We investigate the influence of environmental decoherence on the dynamics of a coupled qubit system and quantum correlation. We analyse the relationship between concurrence and the degree of initial entanglement or the purity of initial quantum state, and also their relationship with quantum discord. The results show that the decrease of the purity of an initial quantum state can induce the attenuation of concurrence or quantum discord, but the attenuation of quantum discord is obviously slower than the concurrence’s,correspondingly the survival time of quantum discord is longer.Further investigation reveals that the robustness of quantum discord and concurrence relies on the entanglement degree of the initial quantum state. The higher the degree of entanglement, the more robust the quantum discord is than concurrence. And the reverse is equally true.Birth and death happen to quantum discord periodically and a newborn quantum discord comes into being under a certain condition,so does the concurrence. 相似文献

In this paper, quantum correlation (QC) swapping between two Werner-like states, which are transformed from Werner states undergoing local and nonlocal unitary operations, are studied. Bell states measures are performed in the middle node to realize the QC swapping and correspondingly final correlated sates are obtained. Two different QC quantifiers, i.e., measurement-induced disturbance (MID) and ameliorated MID, are employed to characterize and quantify all the concerned QCs in the swapping process. All QCs in the concerned states are evaluated analytically and numerically. Correspondingly, their characteristics and properties are exposed in detail. It is exposed that, through the QC swapping process, one can obtain the long-distance QC indeed. Moreover, the similarities of monotony features of MID and AMID between the initial states and final states are exposed and analyzed. 相似文献

Quantum correlations in a two-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg XYZ chain with uniform magnetic field 下载免费PDF全文
Quantum correlations in an anisotropic Heisenberg XY Z chain is investigated by use of concurrence C and measurement-induced disturbance(MID). We show that the behaviors of the MID are remarkably different from the concurrence. Firstly, it is shown that there is a revival phenomenon in the concurrence but not in the MID, which is suitable for both the ground state case and the finite temperature case. Based on the analysis of the ground-state C and MID structures,we illustrate the reason why the ground-state MID does not show a revival phenomenon in detail. Then we explore different effects of the external and self parameters on entanglement and MID behaviors. It can be shown that the region of MID is evidently larger than the case of concurrence, and that the concurrence signals a quantum phase transition even at finite T while MID does not. Cases where the concurrence finally maintains one nonzero constant value regardless of the value of the variable B for a constant Jz, while MID decreases monotonously to zero with increasing B. We also show that if B can take a proper range of values, the concurrence decreases with the improvement of the anisotropic parameter γ, whereas an opposite effect for MID behaviors is presented. 相似文献

We investigate the pairwise thermal quantum discord in a three-qubit XXZ model with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction. We find that the effects of DM interaction on antiferromagnetic system is distinct from that of ferromagnetic system. The magnetic field supplemented with DM term contribute to enhance the range of quantum discord. It is revealed that the situations where quantum discord fails to indicate a sudden change of groundstate at finite temperature though indicating such a sudden change of groundstate at zero temperature. Dynamics of pairwise thermal quantum discord is considered as well. Thermal quantum discord vanishes in asymptotic limit regardless of its initial values, however, thermal entanglement suddenly disappears in finite time. 相似文献

The dynamics of quantum discord for two qubits independently interacting with dephasing reservoirs have been studied recently. The authors [Phys.Rev.A 88(2013) 034304] found that for some Bell-diagonal states(BDS)which interact with their environments the calculation of quantum discord could experience a sudden transition in its dynamics, this phenomenon is known as the sudden change. Here in the present paper,we analyze the dynamics of normal quantum discord and super quantum discord for tripartite Bell-diagonal states independently interacting with dephasing reservoirs. Then,we find that basis change does not necessary mean sudden change of quantum correlations. 相似文献

It is known that the inevitable interaction of the entangled qubits with their environments may result in the degradation of quantum correlation. We study the decoherence of two remote qubits under general local single-and two-sided amplitude-damping channel(ADC).By using concurrence, quantum discord and Clauser-Horne-ShimonyHolt(CHSH)inequality,we find that the relation between the residual quantum correlations and the initial ones are different.Recently,Wang et al.[Int.J.Theor.Phys.54(2015)5]showed that there exist a set of partially entangled states that are more robust than maximally entangled states in terms of the residual quantum correlation measured by concurrence, fully entangled fraction and quantum discord, respectively. Here we find that both in single-and two-sided ADC,only the evolution of CHSH inequality with the initial parameter is proportional to that of the initial nonlocality. That means the initial state with maximally nonlocality will retain its role in the evolution. It implies that the evolution of nonlocality may reveal the characteristics of quantum state better.Furthermore,we discuss the evolutions of the three different quantum measurements with the initial parameter under generalized amplitude damping channel(GADC)and find that they are all proportional to that of the initial state. 相似文献

The non-Markovian decoherence of quantum and classical correlationsis analytically obtained when two qubits are asymmetrically subjected to the bit flip channel and phase flip channel. For one class of initial mixed states, quantum correlations quantified by quantum discord decay synchronously with classical correlations. The discovery that the decaying rates of quantum and classical correlations suddenly change at the characteristic time is physically interpreted by the distance from quantum state to the closest classical states. In a large time interval, quantum correlations are greater than classical correlations. The quantum and classical correlations can be preserved over a longer period of time via the kernel characterizing the environment memory effects. 相似文献

The dynamics of entanglement between two qubits in the local damping two-sided channel and singlesided channel are compared through non-Markovian process and Markovian process. The entanglement between two qubits is found to be longer in the single-sided channel case due to the weakening of the dissipative effects. In the two-sided channel, influenced by the entanglement between qubits, the previous independent dissipative channels incline to the composite effect of the Markovian process. This composite effect results in the dissipative effect of one channel affecting the qubits in the other channel, especially inhibiting the backflow effect in the non-Markovian channel, which is disadvantageous to the entanglement maintenance between qubits. In the Markovian channel, the composite effect of the damping two-sided channels is more obvious since there is no backflow effect, thus more disadvantageous to the entanglement maintenance. 相似文献
