Piezoelectric effect equations have been derived by linearizing the nonlinear equations of state of a thin film existing in a paraelectric phase in the presence of an external electrical field (induced piezoelectric effect). The behavior of the piezoelectric and elastic constants of thin films of a solid barium–strontium titanate solution BST065 (x = 0.65) in a planar field at different misfit strain values has been studied numerically.  相似文献

Nanosized, undoped and rare-earth–doped Sr0.5Ba0.5Nb2O6 (SBN) ceramic systems were synthesized by an aqueous organic gel route. The precursor gel on calcinations at 800°C for 2 hr produces undoped and rare-earth–doped SBN systems of pure tungsten bronze lattice structure. These systems have been characterized for their structure by XRD, SEM, and TEM. The nonlinear absorption behavior of the undoped and rare-earth–doped SBN ceramic systems was investigated by use of the open-aperture Z-scan technique using 532 nm, 5 ns laser pulses. The authors found that these materials are potential optical limiters at this excitation wavelength.  相似文献

The electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra and the stationary magnetic susceptibility are investigated for Ca1–x Eu x S and Sr1–x Eu x S solid solutions (0.00005 < x < 0.0032). The EPR spectrum of Eu2+ in both matrices contains a wide structureless line in addition to the narrow lines of the superfine structure characteristic of ions with high local symmetry. Because of the extraordinary temperature dependence of this line in CaS:Eu, it is associated with strongly interacting magnetic centers, namely, exchange-coupling pairs and chains or more complex clusters of magnetic ions. At the same time, the dependence of the stationary magnetic susceptibility in the temperature range 4.2–50 K has no peculiarities for CaS:Eu and SrS:Eu and obeys the Curie law.  相似文献

Kinetics and phase transformations are studied for the previously unconsidered decomposition of supersaturated solid solution in magnesium-based alloys Mg–Dy–Sm. The decomposition of solid solution slows when there is an increase in % Dy: % Sm ratio in the alloys. Mg–Sm and Mg–Dy alloys grow harder when Dy and Sm are added to them, respectively. Products of decomposition in ternary Mg–Dy–Sm alloys are the same as in binary alloys Mg–Dy and Mg–Sm but contain combinations of Dy and Sm.  相似文献

We have investigated the absorption spectra in the region of the fundamental absorption band edge and the photoluminescence spectra of single crystals of the ternary compounds CuInSe2 and CuGaS2, and of solid solutions based on them that were grown by the method of chemical transport reaction. The forbidden band width and the positions of the maxima of the radiation bands are determined.
