Measurements of ω photoproduction of the Crystal-Barrel/TAPS experiment at the ELSA accelerator of Bonn University are presented which used linearly polarized tagged photon beam from threshold to Eγ = 1700MeV. The azimuthal asymmetries ∑and ∑πindicate s-channel resonance contributions on top of the established t-channel exchange processes. These findings are further enhanced by a very first measurement of the G-asymmetry which, in addition to the polarized photon beam, also requires a longitudinally polarized proton target. An intuitive interpretation of the specific sensitivity of the azimuthal asymmetries to the reaction mechanisms involved is given.  相似文献

The interaction of an η-meson with two nucleons is studied within a three-body approach. The major features of the ηNN-system in the low-energy region are accounted for by using a s-wave separable ansatz for the two-body ηN and NN amplitudes. The calculation is confined to the (J π;T) = (0-;1) and (1-;0) configurations which are assumed to be the most promising candidates for virtual or resonant ηNN-states. The eigenvalue three-body equation is continued analytically into the nonphysical sheets by contour deformation. The position of the poles of the three-body scattering matrix as a function of the ηN-interaction strength is investigated. The corresponding trajectory, starting on the physical sheet, moves around the ηNN three-body threshold and continues away from the physical area giving rise to virtual ηNN-states. The search for poles on the nonphysical sheets adjacent directly to the upper rim of the real energy axis gives a negative result. Thus no low-lying s-wave ηNN-resonances were found. The possible influence of virtual poles on the low-energy ηNN-scattering is discussed. Received: 27 June 2000 / Accepted: 3 August 2000  相似文献

Based on a solution of the stationary modified Bloch equations, an investigation is made of the influence of the effect of internal optical bistability (IOB) on the behavior of the refractive index of a dense resonance medium as a function of the constant b of closerange dipoledipole interactions, frequency detuning, and the intensity of optical radiation. The conditions of existence of the IOB effect of the system dense resonance medium + optical radiation are found and the dynamics of the loop width of the hysteresis dependence of the population difference of the resonance levels of the medium on the characteristics of the system is traced. The domains of the parameters are determined in which the effects of selffocusing and selfdefocusing of the radiation propagating in a dense resonance medium can take place.  相似文献

The photoproduction of a neutral pion on the deuteron is considered in the energy region around the η threshold, where a bump-like structure was observed at very backward pion angles. Different dynamical aspects which may be responsible for this phenomenon are analysed within a theoretical frame which includes intermediate ηNN configurations. The results show, in particular, that a three-body treatment of the ηNN interaction is of special importance.  相似文献

A full set of spectra of the optical functions of a zinc oxide crystal in the range 0–30 eV has been calculated on the basis of the experimental spectrum of characteristic losses –Im –1. The 2, 1 and Im –1, Re –1 spectra were decomposed into elementary components. The most intense transverse and longitudinal components of transitions and their parameters have been determined. The energy transfer of homogeneous scalar turbulence is studied numerically by triad interaction in spectral space. The different transfer properties between turbulent kinetic energy and turbulent scalar energy reveal that non-local energy transfer exists as important as the local energy transfer in scalar turbulence. The non-local energy transfer of scalar turbulence results from non-local triad interaction. As a result there will be longer inertiaconvective range in scalar turbulence than the inertial subrange in turbulent kinetic transfer at Reλ = Peλ. The non-local transfer of turbulent scalar energy generates more energy transfer into dissipation range. The discovery of non-local transfer of turbulent scalar energy indicates that this phenomenon should be concerned carefully in numerical scheme and subgrid modelling of direct numerical simulation or large eddy simulation scalar turbulence.  相似文献

Data from three experiments performed at the linear accelerator in Saclay, the Tomsk synchrotron, and the MAMI accelerator in Mainz and devoted to studying single pion photoproduction on light nuclei that is accompanied by nucleon emission are analyzed. The behavior of respective experimental cross sections, which is inexplicable in the impulse approximation, is interpreted within a model where the formation of an intermediate quasibound isobar-nucleus state is followed by its decay to a final state involving a pion and a nucleon.  相似文献

If gravity is quantized, one of the consequences may be that the spacetime coordinates are quantized and become noncommutative. The κ-Minkowski spacetime is such kind of noncommutative spacetime. In this paper, the resonance interaction energy of a two-atom system coupled with a fluctuating vacuum scalar field in the κ-Minkowski spacetime is studied. It is found that the resonance interaction energy is dependent on the interatomic separation, the transition wavelength of the atoms, and the spacetime non-commutativity. When the interatomic separation is small compared with a characteristic length determined by the spacetime non-commutativity parameter and the transition wavelength, the resonance interaction energy is that in the Minkowski spacetime plus a correction due to the spacetime non-commutativity. When the interatomic separation is comparable to or larger than the characteristic length, the resonance interaction energy cannot be organized in the form of a Minkowski term plus a correction, which indicates that the long-range behavior of the vacuum in the κ-Minkowski spacetime is fundamentally different from that in the Minkowski spacetime.  相似文献

Solar proton events possess a wide variety of features that reflect the conditions of solar proton acceleration and propagation. Relevant investigations rely on statistical methods that make it possible to classify events with the aim of obtaining deeper insight into physical processes leading to the generation of solar cosmic rays. In classifying events in power, the intensity of particles with energy above 10MeV at the maximum of the event time profile or the fluence of particles throughout the event time is usually used. A new parameter, Eqm, that characterizes the proton event power and which is some kind of approximation of the maximum energy of accelerated particles is analyzed in the present study. Correlations of Eqm with properties of x-ray flares on the Sun and with the velocity of coronal mass ejections are examined.  相似文献

The pole position of the σ meson is determined using the recently proposed new unitarization method combined with the two-loop SU(2)×SU(2) chiral perturbation theory results. The scattering length parameters and the effective range parameters predicted by our method are in good agreement with experimental results. It is found that Mσ=542±26±39 MeV, Γσ=546±122±25 MeV.  相似文献

Analyses of Valid Range for the Linear Approximation in a Single-Mode Laser   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Using the linear approximation method, we calculated the steady-state mean normalized intensity fluctuation for a loss-noise model of a single-mode laser driven by a pump noise and a quantum noise, whose real part and imaginary part are cross-correlated. We analyzed the valid range for the linear approximation method by studying the influences on the steady-state mean normalized intensity fluctuation by the cross-correlation coefficient, the intensities of the quantum and pump noise, the net gain, and the amplitude and frequency of the input signal, and we found that the valid range becomes wider when the cross-correlation between the real and imaginary part of quantum noise is weaker, the noise intensities of quantum and pump are weaker, the laser system is far from the threshold and the signal has smaller amplitude and higher frequency.  相似文献
