Dynamic characteristics of the resonant gyroscope are studied based on the Mathieu equation approximate solution in this paper.The Mathieu equation is used to analyze the parametric resonant characteristics and the approximate output of the resonant gyroscope.The method of small parameter perturbation is used to analyze the approximate solution of the Mathieu equation.The theoretical analysis and the numerical simulations show that the approximate solution of the Mathieu equation is close to the dynamic output characteristics of the resonant gyroscope.The experimental analysis shows that the theoretical curve and the experimental data processing results coincide perfectly,which means that the approximate solution of the Mathieu equation can present the dynamic output characteristic of the resonant gyroscope.The theoretical approach and the experimental results of the Mathieu equation approximate solution are obtained,which provides a reference for the robust design of the resonant gyroscope.  相似文献

It is suggested that Schottky barrier diodes could be used for frequency division in the range 1–100 GHz. Division at 1.5 GHz is demonstrated using a diode with effective charge storage time of 100 ps. Lower frequency dividers are shown to divide by two over a range of three orders of magnitude of input frequency about the reciprocal of the charge storage time. A resonant Schottky pickup with high sensitivity, built by GSI, will be used for nuclear mass and lifetime measurement at CSRe. The basic concepts of Schottky noise signals, a brief introduction of the geometry of the detector, the transient response of the detector, and MAFIA simulated and perturbation measured results of characteristics are presented in this paper. The resonant frequency of the pickup is about 243 MHz and can be slightly changed at a range of 3 MHz. The unloaded quality factor is about 1072 and the shunt impedance is 76 kΩ. The measured results of the characteristics are in agreement with the MAFIA simulations.  相似文献

This paper describes a powerful new technique for nondestructive evaluation of ferromagnetic material. A method has been developed for measuring magnetic Barkhausen signals under different coil resonance frequencies. The measurements allow one to establish the behavior relating the power spectral density maximum and the resonant coil frequency. Time-frequency analysis of Barkhausen signals puts in evidence the tuning regions for each coil, and allows clear identification of each contribution to the Barkhausen signal spectrum. This concept was used in order to evaluate the relation between the degree of plastic deformation in carbon steel samples, and the power spectral density maximum at different resonance frequencies. This result also makes it possible to the selectively modify measurement sensibility to the magnetic Barkhausen signal by using different resonance frequencies.  相似文献

We investigate diffusive propagation of light and consequent random lasing in an amplifying medium comprising resonant spherical scatterers. A Monte-Carlo calculation based on photon propagation via three-dimensional random walks is employed to obtain the dwell-times of light in the system. We compare the inter-scatterer and intra-scatterer dwell-times for representative resonant and non-resonant wavelengths. Our results show that more efficient random lasing, with intense coherent modes, is obtained for a system with intra-scatterer gain. This is also coupled with a larger reduction in frequency fluctuations. We find that such a system can yield almost thresholdless random lasing. Inspired by these results, we discuss a possible practical situation, based on a monodisperse aerosol, wherein frequency controlled coherent random lasing can be obtained. Since our analysis essentially investigates transport of intensity, the results are relevant to coherent random lasers under nonresonant feedback.  相似文献

The simultaneous dual-frequency operation of a resonant photoacoustic gas sensor based on the differential mode excitation photoacoustic (DME-PA) technique is presented. The DME-PA method uses the excitation of two different modes in a resonant photoacoustic cell and the gas concentration is derived from the amplitude ratio of these acoustic modes. With the simultaneous dual-frequency excitation, the amplitude ratio needed by the DME-PA technique is obtained instantaneously, in contrast to the sequential modulation scheme where additional time delays are introduced by changing the modulation frequency. For a given excitation power reaching the photoacoustic cell, and a total acquisition time longer than 7 s, the simultaneous modulation scheme provides an improved measurement uncertainty compared to the sequential scheme. The proposed sensor allows measuring water vapour with a ±150 ppmV uncertainty using current-modulated near-infrared LEDs and a 15 s total acquisition time.  相似文献

Preliminary results are reported for an experiment at TRIUMF where a time-of-flight technique was tested for measuring the energy dependence of the rate for muon-catalyzed dt fusion. Muonic tritium atoms were created following transfer of negative muons from muonic protium in a layer of solid hydrogen (protium) containing a small fraction of tritium. The atoms escaped from the solid layer via the Ramsauer-Townsend mechanism, traversed a drift region of 18 mm, and then struck an adjacent layer of deuterium, where the muonic atom could form a molecular system. The time of detection of a fusion product (neutron or alpha) following muon arrival is dependent upon the energy of the muonic tritium atom as it traverses the drift region. By comparison of the time distribution of fusion events with a prediction based on the theoretical energy dependence of the rate, the strength of resonant formation can in principle be determined. The results extracted so far are discussed and the limitations of the method are examined.  相似文献

Using a quantum detector, a superconductor-insulator-superconductor junction, we probe separately the emission and absorption noise in the quantum regime of a superconducting resonant circuit at equilibrium. At low temperature the resonant circuit exhibits only absorption noise related to zero point fluctuations, whereas at higher temperature emission noise is also present. By coupling a Josephson junction, biased above the superconducting gap, to the same resonant circuit, we directly measure the noise power of quasiparticles tunneling through the junction at two resonance frequencies. It exhibits a strong frequency dependence, consistent with theoretical predictions.  相似文献

Frequencies of pure rotational transitions of OD have been measured in the 1-5 THz region using a high-precision tunable far-infrared spectrometer based on difference frequency of two CO2 lasers. The measured frequencies were analyzed together with the data in the infrared and the sub-millimeter region to refine the rotational parameters. Tokimec has been developing high grade interferometric fiber-optic gyroscopes (I-FOGs) for useful applications. The I-FOG consists of a sensing coil module, a light emitting module and an electronics circuits module. We achieved the bias stability of 0.003 deg/h and the angular random walk of 0.001 deg/√h and the scale factor error of 10 ppm (1σ). Then the azimuth error of the strapdown gyrocompass system with the high grade I-FOGs was less than ±0.05 s λ (deg) under the environmental temperature condition 23±5(°C).  相似文献

The influence of noise inherent in emission sources and effects due to polarization mode coupling on random inhomogeneities in single-mode fibers on the ultimate sensitivity of fiber-optic gyros to rotation is studied. It is shown that the ultimate sensitivity of navigation fiber-optic gyros and precision fiber-optic gyros intended for detecting fundamental physical processes is limited largely by polarization effects. In directional fiber-optic gyros, conversely, radiation noise prevails.  相似文献
