Sol-gel dip-coated films of transparent conducting antimony-doped tin oxide (SnO2 : Sb) have been heat treated with heating rates varying from 0.2 to 4300 K/s using either a furnace or cw CO2 laser irradiation. The final sintering temperature of 540°C was maintained for up to 15 min. The sheet resistance of the coatings decreases with increasing heating rate. A decrease of the sheet resistance with the sintering time at constant temperature can be observed for low heating rates but the final values are higher than those obtained with higher heating rates. It is assumed that the densification of the coatings is determined by a competition between the nucleation at low temperatures and the growth of the crystallites at high temperatures. The microstructure of the coatings has been investigated by high resolution TEM cross-sections, X-ray diffraction, and Rutherford back scattering (RBS) and has been correlated to the resulting electrical properties measured by 4 point technique. Different mechanisms of heating arise with the furnace and the cw CO2 laser.  相似文献

Instead of classical or rapid thermal annealing, KrF excimer laser irradiation has been successfully applied to crystallize dried SnO2:Sb films elaborated by a sol-gel process. The penetration of the crystallization front below the film surface, as imaged by transmission electron microscopy, is controlled by the laser fluence and the number of pulses and can thus be confined in the film itself without affecting sensitive substrates. All films laser irradiated at fluences higher than 40 mJ/cm2 become conductive. At constant laser fluence, the electrical sheet resistance goes through a minimum with increasing number of pulses. The consequence of film's densification and morphology on electrical properties is discussed.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline, redispersable Sb-doped SnO2 with Sb contents from 0.1–10 mol% (with respect to Sn) and a primary particle size of about 5 nm was prepared from SnCl4 and SbCl3 in solution by a growth reaction. The aggregation of the particles was avoided by in situ surface modification with amino carbonic acids. The stabilizing effect of the surface modification could be maintained during the following hydrothermal crystallization step (150°C, 10 bar). The resulting nanocrystalline particles are fully redispersable in aqueous suspensions at pH 11; solid contents up to 40 wt% can be achieved.Such aqueous dispersions were used to prepare transparent, conductive coatings on glass by spin coating. After thermal densification (1 hour at 550°C) transparent coatings of 220 nm thickness were obtained. A minimum specific electrical resistance of 2.5 · 10–2 cm for Sb contents between 4 and 5 mol% was measured, the transparency in the visible range against air was 90%.  相似文献

Tranparent conducting coatings have been prepared by sol gel methods either by a conventional sol-gel process (Antimony doped Tin Oxide—ATO, Aluminium doped Zinc Oxide—AZO) or a new wet chemical process using fully dispersed crystalline nanoparticles (ATO, Indium Tin Oxide—ITO). The dip coating technique has been used as deposition technique with single coating thickness varying from a few nanometer to ca. 400 nm. The layers have been fired in a furnace. Structural properties have been determined by x-ray diffraction and TEM analysis and the electrical properties by the van der Pauw/Hall measurement. Three different coating procedures have been used to investigate the effect on the structure, morphology and the electrical properties of the coatings. It is shown that the individual layer thickness in multilayer coatings influences dramatically the mentioned properties. Very thin individual layers favour a heterogeneous nucleation with dense columnar growth of the crystallites leading to low electrical resistivity ( 10–3 cm), while thick individual layers result in a porous morphology made of small crystallites leading to resistivities in the 10–2 cm range.  相似文献

Sol-gel hybrid organic-inorganic and inorganic SiO2-based protective coatings with and without added 3 m glass particles were developed and tested for their corrosion and wear behavior of an stainless steel substrate (AISI316L). The corrosion resistance greatly increases by incorporating glass particles in the sols. The incorporation of particles in the coatings allows the synthesis of thicker crack-free coatings. On the other hand, the corrosion resistance increases for coatings with a higher organic content obtained at lower sintering temperature. These coatings are also highly stable in saline aqueous solutions. However, the wear resistance is badly affected by the hybrid character of the SiO2 matrix. The optimum coating process in terms of corrosion and wear resistance, appears to be a hybrid system with a dense SiO2 network achieved at intermediate sintering temperatures.  相似文献

以四氯化锡和三氯化锑为前驱体,通过静电纺丝技术制备了柔性透明的自支撑氧化锡锑(ATO)纳米纤维膜.研究结果表明,该柔性ATO纤维膜具有四方相金红石晶体结构,且呈无规的纤维网状分布.当前驱体煅烧温度分别为520℃和700℃时,纤维的平均直径为200和150 nm;组成纤维的颗粒的平均粒径为10和19 nm;可见光透过率为72%和80%;电阻率为5.23和2.20Ω·cm.该自支撑ATO纳米纤维膜还显示出优异的柔韧性,在弯曲500次后其电阻率基本不变.  相似文献

Porous CaF2 anti-reflective coating films were prepared by the sol-gel method. Effects of organic additives on deposition and optical properties of the films were investigated. Amino alcohols (2-aminoethanol, 2-dimethylaminoethanol, and triethanolamine) and alcohols with larger molecular weights (ethyleneglycol, 2-methoxyethanol, cyclohexanol, and 2-(2-n-butoxyethoxy)ethanol) were chosen as the organic additives. Among these additives, cyclohexanol was the most effective to control the surface morphology and the optical properties of the films. By changing the amount of cyclohexanol in the coating solution, it was possible to control the optical thickness of the CaF2 films. Accordingly, the wavelength giving the maximum transmittance could be changed in the UV region.  相似文献

A study of the experimental conditions required to obtain vanadium doped sol-gel TiO2 coatings is presented. Tetraethyl orthotitanate was employed as the TiO2 source and VCl3, VOSO4 · H2O and VOSO4 dissolved H2SO4 where employed as vanadium sources.Dip coating has been used to produce coatings on silicon wafers, spectral carbon electrodes and titanium electrodes. Both supported and unsupported films have been studied by UV-Vis spectra, IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The measurements have been made on samples as prepared and treated thermally at temperatures between 100°C and 300°C. The thermal treatment temperatures have been established from DTA/TGA measurements.The vanadium doped sol-gel TiO2 coatings have been tested as sensors for redox potential measurements in electrochemical processes. The influence of both the thickness of films and the nature of substrate has been investigated.  相似文献

Sol-gel coatings on non-oxide substrates can be used to prevent high temperature degradation and to improve wet corrosion resistance. Alumina coatings were investigated. The starting precursor was aluminium sec-butoxide, modified with chelating ligands such as 2,4-pentanedione or acrylic acid to prevent its precipitation in the presence of water. Stainless steel plates and Hi-Nicalon SiC fibers are often utilized in different kinds of applications and thus were selected as substrates. Thin films were deposited from the modified alkoxide solutions using dip-coating techniques. The parameters governing the process such as the aging of the sols, the viscosity, the withdrawal rate and the thermal treatment were investigated. The films were characterized (morphology, thickness) and showed an interesting behaviour as protection barrier in an aggressive medium.  相似文献

The formation mechanism of thermally prepared IrO2/SnO2 thin films has been investigated under in situ conditions by thermogravimetry combined with mass spectrometry (TG-MS) and infrared emission spectroscopy (IRES). Mixtures of varying composition of the precursor salts (SnCl2·2H2O dissolved in ethanol and IrCl3·3H2O dissolved in isopropanol) were prepared onto titanium metal supports. Then the solvent was evaporated and the gel-like films were heated in an atmosphere containing 20% O2 and 80% Ar to 600°C. The thermogravimetric curves showed that the evolution of the oxide phases take place in several decomposition stages and the final mixed oxide film is formed between 490 and 550°C, depending on the noble metal content. Mass spectrometric ion intensity curves revealed that below 200°C crystallization water, residual solvent, and hydrogen-chloride (formed as a result of an intramolecular hydrolysis) are liberated. The decomposition of surface species (surface carbonates, carbonyls and carboxylates) formed via the interaction of the residual solvent with the precursor salts takes place up to 450°C as evidenced by emission Fourier transform infrared spectrometry. 以Sn粉和Sb2O3为原料.采用共沉淀法制备了纳米ATO粉.TG-DSC及FTIR结果表明.450℃以前前驱体已失去全部水分.并完全转化为氧化物.XRD测量结果表明.所得ATO粉具有四方金红石结构.500℃焙烧后粉体的粒径为12nm.随着焙烧温度的升高.粉体的粒径增加.TEM测定结果表明,粉体的分散性很好.团聚很少.粉体的烧结性能良好,950℃时烧结5h即达到理论密度的97.3%.用霍尔系数法测定粉体的导电行为.表明该粉体具有良好的导电性能.  相似文献

The sol-gel process has been applied to the preparation of nano-size Sb2S3 crystallite doped silica glasses and thin films. Silica glasses containing 1–1.5 wt% Sb2S3 are prepared by hydrolysis of complex solution of Si(OC2H5)4, SbCl3 and SC(NH2)2, and subsequent heat treatment. The nano-size crystallite in the matrix is observed by means of TEM. The transmission spectra of the films show that the transmission valley shifts toward longer wavelengths with increasing heat treatment time and temperature. Second harmonic generation (SHG) has been observed in the glasses illuminated with intense 1.06 m and frequency-doubled laser beams from mode-locked Nd:YAG laser.  相似文献

本文采用溶胶-凝胶法,以3-巯丙基三甲氧基硅烷(MPTMS)和聚苯胺为主要原料,制备得到有机-无机杂化透明导电薄膜。着重研究制备过程中醋酸、间甲酚和聚苯胺含量对薄膜结构、导电性和可见光透过率的影响。通过红外光谱可知,采用溶胶-凝胶法可制得结构稳定的杂化导电材料。醋酸作为水解缩聚反应的反应剂和催化剂,当其与3-巯丙基三甲氧基硅烷的物质的量比为0.4时,MPTMS的水解缩聚速率和聚苯胺掺杂入无机前驱体的掺杂速率达到平衡。此外,透明杂化导电薄膜的方块电阻随间甲酚和聚苯胺含量的增加而降低,当间甲酚和3-巯丙基三甲氧基硅烷的物质的量比为5,聚苯胺和二氧化硅的质量比为3/7时,薄膜的方块电阻为3.23 kΩ/□,可见光透过率为80%。  相似文献

Sol-gel processing of Ta(OC2H5)5 to produce high reflective and high refractive index (HR) tantala coatings has been followed by infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), where in the presence of ethanoic acid, both chelation and hydrolysis reactions co-exist, depending on the preparative parameters. However, most of the precursor was found to convert into an amorphous tantala sol and finally a gel. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and light-scattering showed that the primary sol particles (whose size was about 5 nm) aggregated into clusters up to 60–80 nm via different linkages: ring-like, cross-linked and colloidal structures. Thermal analysis-X-ray diffraction (TGA-XRD) indicated that the gel did not crystallise below 700 K. Tantala films (0.3 μm thick; refractive index of 1.7) were prepared by spin-coating of these sols and had properties closely related to the sol structure.  相似文献

The X-ray reflectivity technique was applied in the study of tin oxide films deposited by sol-gel dip-coating on borosilicate glasses. The influence of the withdrawal speed and temperature of thermal treatment on the film structure was analyzed. We have compared the thermal evolution of the density and the shrinkage of the films with these properties measured for the monolithic xerogel by helium picnometry and thermomechanical analysis. In agreement with the Landau-Levich model, the layer thickness increases by increasing the withdrawal speed. Nevertheless, it decreases with the increase of the thermal treatment temperature, due to the densification process. The values of apparent density are smaller than the skeletal density, which shows that the films are porous. The comparison between the film and the monolith indicates that shrinkage during firing is anisotropic, occurring essentially perpendicular to the coating surface.  相似文献

The sol-gel synthesis of silicophosphate gels using phosphoryl chloride and tetraethoxysilane as molecular precursors is reported and discussed. Gel-derived glasses and films having the molar compositions 10P2O5 · 90SiO2 and 30P2O5 · 70SiO2 have been obtained. The structure of the dried gels as well as the structural modifications that occurs during the transformations in gel-derived glasses are analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). It has been found that the evidence of the P—O—Si linkages begins to appear only on the FTIR spectra of the bulk gels heat treated up to 400°C while they are well resolved on the FTIR spectra of the bulk gel samples heated up to 1000°C indicating that at this temperature the transformation in the corresponding gel-derived glasses occurs. The humidity sensitive properties of the gel-films have been evaluated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The phosphorous content as well as the temperature of the heat treatments strongly affect the sensitivity to RH of the gel-derived films.  相似文献
