A simple, rapid, and sensitive method using in-tube solid-phase microextraction (in-tube SPME) based on poly(methacrylic acid–ethylene glycol dimethacrylate) (MAA–EGDMA) monolith coupled to HPLC with fluorescence and UV detection was developed for the determination of five fluoroquinolones (FQs). Ofloxacin (OFL), norfloxacin (NOR), ciprofloxacin (CIP), enrofloxacin (ENRO), and sarafloxacin (SARA) can be enriched and determined in the spiked eggs and albumins. CIP/ENRO in eggs and albumins of ENRO-treated hens were also studied using the proposed method. Only homogenization, dilution, and centrifugation were required before the sample was supplied to the in-tube microextraction, and no organic solvents were consumed in the procedures. Under the optimized extraction conditions, good extraction efficiency for the five FQs was obtained with no matrix interference in the process of extraction and the subsequent chromatographic separation. The detection limits (S/N=3) were found to be 0.1–2.6 ng g−1 and 0.2–2.4 ng g−1 in whole egg and egg albumin, respectively. Good linearity could be achieved over the range 2–500 ng mL−1 for the five FQs with regression coefficients above 0.9995 in both whole egg and albumin. The reproducibility of the method was evaluated at three concentration levels, with the resulting relative standard deviations (RSDs) less than 7%. The method was successfully applied to the analysis of ENRO and its primary metabolite CIP in the eggs and albumins of ENRO-treated hens.  相似文献

A solid-phase microextraction (SPME) procedure using two commercial fibers coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is presented for the extraction and determination of organochlorine pesticides in water samples. We have evaluated the extraction efficiency of this kind of compound using two different fibers: 60-μm polydimethylsiloxane–divinylbenzene (PDMS-DVB) and Carbowax/TPR-100 (CW/TPR). Parameters involved in the extraction and desorption procedures (e.g. extraction time, ionic strength, extraction temperature, desorption and soaking time) were studied and optimized to achieve the maximum efficiency. Results indicate that both PDMS-DVB and CW/TPR fibers are suitable for the extraction of this type of compound, and a simple calibration curve method based on simple aqueous standards can be used. All the correlation coefficients were better than 0.9950, and the RSDs ranged from 7% to 13% for 60-μm PDMS-DVB fiber and from 3% to 10% for CW/TPR fiber. Optimized procedures were applied to the determination of a mixture of six organochlorine pesticides in environmental liquid samples (sea, sewage and ground waters), employing HPLC with UV-diode array detector.  相似文献

A novel microextraction method making use of commercial polymer fiber as sorbent, coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detection for the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in water has been developed. In this technique, the extraction device was simply a length (8 cm) of a strand of commercial polymer fiber, Kevlar (each strand consisted of 1000 filaments, each of diameter ca. 9.23 μm), that was allowed to tumble freely in the aqueous sample solution during extraction. The extracted analytes were desorbed ultrasonically before the extract was injected into HPLC system for analysis. Extraction parameters such as extraction time, desorption time, type of desorption solvent and sample volume were optimized. Each fiber could be used for up to 50 extractions and the method showed good precision, reproducibility and linear response within a concentration range 0.05–5.00 μg L−1 with correlation coefficients of up to 0.9998. Limits of detection between 0.4 and 4.4 ng L−1 for seven PAHs could be achieved. The relative standard deviations (n = 3) of this technique were between 2.9% and 12.1%.  相似文献

An online device is described in which analytes are extracted from a liquid sample by means of in-tube solid-phase microextraction (in-tube SPME), pulse released by rapid heating, and transferred to a gas chromatograph in a fully automated way. Switching of the sample and gas flows as well as the heating of the extraction tube and the valves is controlled by a remote computer system. Results obtained for river water and for aqueous standard solutions of phenanthrene are presented and are compared to the performance of standard SPME.  相似文献

By using ionic liquid as membrane liquid and tri-n-octylphosphine oxide (TOPO) as additive, hollow fiber supported liquid phase microextraction (HF-LPME) was developed for the determination of five sulfonamides in environmental water samples by high-performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detection The extraction solvent and the parameters affecting the extraction enrichment factor such as the type and amount of carrier, pH and volume ratio of donor phase and acceptor phase, extraction time, salt-out effect and matrix effect were optimized. Under the optimal extraction conditions (organic liquid membrane phase: [C8MIM][PF6] with 14% TOPO (w/v); donor phase: 4 mL, pH 4.5 KH2PO4 with 2 M Na2SO4; acceptor phase: 25 μL, pH 13 NaOH; extraction time: 8 h), low detection limits (0.1–0.4 μg/L, RSD ≤ 5%) and good linear range (1–2000 ng/mL, R2 ≥ 0.999) were obtained for all the analytes. The presence of humic acid (0–25 mg/L dissolved organic carbon) and bovine serum albumin (0–100 μg/mL) had no significant effect on the extraction efficiency. Good spike recoveries over the range of 82.2–103.2% were obtained when applying the proposed method on five real environmental water samples. These results indicated that this present method was very sensitive and reliable with good repeatabilities and excellent clean-up in water samples. The proposed method confirmed hollow fiber supported ionic liquid membrane based LPME to be robust to monitoring trace levels of sulfadiazine, sulfamerazine, sulfamethazine, sulfadimethoxine and sulfamethoxazole in aqueous samples.  相似文献

The commercial solid phase microextraction (SPME) fibers are not stable enough in organic solvent and tend to swell and strip off from the silica fiber in the high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) mobile phase, and therefore the application of SPME coupled online with HPLC is limited. In this study, an SPME fiber coated with single walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs), prepared by means of electrophoretic deposition, was coupled on line to HPLC for the determination of four endocrine-disrupting compounds, i.e. bisphenol A (BPA), estrone (E1), 17α-ethynylestradiol (EE2) and octylphenol (OP), in aqueous samples. The results showed that the SWCNTs coating on the prepared fiber did not swell and strip off from the platinum fiber throughout the experiment, thus indicating a high resistance to the HPLC mobile phase, the mixture of water and acetonitrile. The SWCNTs fiber had similar (for OP) or higher (for BPA, EE2 and E1) extraction efficiencies than the commonly used polyacrylate fiber, and had a lifetime of more than 120 operation times. Under the optimized conditions, the linearity of the proposed method was 1.0-30.0 μg/L for BPA and OP and 3.0-90.0 μg/L for E1 and EE2. The limits of detection (LODs; S/N = 3) and limits of quantification (LOQs; S/N = 10) of the method were 0.32-0.52 μg/L and 1.06-1.72 μg/L, respectively. Repeatability for one fiber (n = 3) was in the range of 1.3-7.1% and fiber-to-fiber reproducibility (n = 3) was in the range of 1.6-8.4%. The proposed method was successfully applied for the analysis of spiked tap water and seawater samples with recoveries from 81.8 to 97.3%.  相似文献

Solid-phase microextraction (SPME) coupled to LC for the analysis of five diphenylether herbicides (aclonifen, bifenox, fluoroglycofen-ethyl, oxyfluorfen, and lactofen) is described. Various parameters of extraction of analytes onto the fiber (such as type of fiber, extraction time and temperature, pH, impact of salt and organic solute) and desorption from the fiber in the desorption chamber prior to separation (such as type and composition of desorption solvent, desorption mode, soaking time, and flush-out time) were studied and optimized. Four commercially available SPME fibers were studied. PDMS/divinylbenzene (PDMS/DVB, 60 microm) and carbowax/ templated resin (CW/TPR, 50 microm) fibers were selected due to better extraction efficiencies. Repeatability (RSD, < 7%), correlation coefficient (> 0.994), and detection limit (0.33-1.74 and 0.22-1.94 ng/mL, respectively, for PDMS/DVB and CW/TPR) were investigated. Relative recovery (81-104% for PDMS/DVB and 83-100% for CW/TPR fiber) values have also been calculated. The developed method was successfully applied to the analysis of river water and water collected from a vegetable garden.  相似文献

A simple, rapid, efficient, and environmentally friendly method for the determination of some triazine herbicides (simazine, atrazine, prometone, ametryn and prometryne) in water samples was developed by ultrasound-assisted emulsification microextraction (USAEME) coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography-diode array detection (HPLC-DAD). The main parameters that affect the extraction efficiencies, such as the kind and volume of the extraction solvent, ultrasound emulsification time and salt addition, were investigated and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the method was sensitive and showed a good linearity within a range of 0.5 to 200?ngm?L?1 for simazine, atrazine, prometone, ametryn and prometryne, with the correlation coefficients (r) varying from 0.9993 to 0.9998. High enrichment factors were obtained ranging from 148 to 225. The limits of detection (LODs) were in the range between 0.06 and 0.1?ngm?L?1 and the limits of quantification (LOQs) were in the range between 0.2 and 0.3?ngm?L?1. The recoveries of the analytes from water samples at spiking levels of 5.0 and 50.0?ngm?L?1 were ranged from 82.4% to 107.0%. The relative standard deviations (RSDs) varied from 3.0% to 4.6%. The results demonstrated that the USAEME-HPLC-DAD method was an ef?cient pretreatment and enrichment procedure for the determination of triazine pesticides in real water samples.  相似文献

A novel method, termed ionic liquid cold-induced aggregation dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (IL-CIA-DLLME), combined with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was developed for the determination of three phthalate esters in water samples. Several important parameters influencing the IL-CIA-DLLME extraction efficiency, such as the type of extraction and disperser solvent, the volume of extraction and disperser solvent, temperature, extraction time and salt effect, were investigated. Under optimal extraction conditions, the enrichment factors and extraction recoveries ranged from 174 to 212 and 69.9 to 84.8%, respectively. Excellent linearity with coefficients of correlation from 0.9968 to 0.9994 was observed in the concentration range of 2–100 ng mL−1. The repeatability of the proposed method expressed as relative standard deviations ranged from 2.2 to 3.7% (n = 5). Limits of detection were between 0.68 and 1.36 ng mL−1. Good relative recoveries for phthalate esters in tap, bottled mineral and river water samples were obtained in the ranges of 91.5–98.1%, 92.4–99.2% and 90.1–96.8%, respectively. Thus, the proposed method has excellent potential for the determination of phthalate esters in the environmental field.  相似文献

Summary Eight triazine herbicides, prometon, propazine, atrazine, simazine, prometryn, ametryn, metribuzin, and cyanazine, have been extracted from human whole blood and urine samples by headspace solid-phase microextraction (SPME) with a polydimethylsiloxane-coated fiber and quantified by capillary gas chromatography with nitrogen-phosphorus detection. Extraction efficiencies for all compounds were 0.21–0.99% for whole blood, except for cyanazine (0.06%). For urine, the extraction efficiencies for prometon, propazine, atrazine, prometryn and ametryn were 13.6–38.1%, and those of simazine, metribuzin and cyanazine were 1.35–8.73%. The regression equations for the compounds extracted from whole blood were linear within the concentration ranged 0.01–1 μg (0.5 mL)−1 for prometon, propazine, atrazine, prometryn, and ametryn, and 0.02–1 μg (0.5 mL)−1 for simazine, metribuzin, and cyanazine. For urine, regression equations for all compounds were linear within the concentration range 0.005–0.25 μg mL−1. Compound detection limits were 2.8–9.0 ng (0.5 mL)−1 and 0.4–2.0 ng mL−1 for whole blood and urine, respectively. The coefficients of within-day and day-to-day variation were satisfactory for all the compounds, and not greater than 10.3 and 14.2%, respectively. Data obtained from determination of atrazine in rat whole blood after oral administration of the compound are also presented.  相似文献

Anion-exchange solid-phase extraction accompanied with high-performance liquid chromatography has been developed for the determination of six kinds of aminopolycarboxylic acids (APCAs) in river water [N-(2-hydroxyethyl)ethylenediaminetriacetate (HEDTA), ethylenediaminetetraacetate (EDTA), 1,3-propanediaminetetraacetate (PDTA), diethylenetriaminepentaacetate (DTPA), 1,2-propanediaminetetraacetate (MeEDTA), and O,O′-bis(2-aminoethyl)ethyleneglycoltetraacetate (GEDTA)]. The enrichment of APCAs using an anion-exchange cartridge was successfully done by the removal of anions, which competed with APCAs in anion-exchange processes. Barium chloride solution was added to river water and the mixture was passed through On Guard II Ag and H cartridges and then a Bond Elut Jr.SAX cartridge to enrich APCAs. After elution, APCAs were analyzed on two reversed phase C30 columns connected in series and detected with ultraviolet detection. The enrichment using solid-phase extraction permitted the determination of APCAs in river water at concentrations as low as 1 nM. Good recoveries (83–111%) were obtained for each APCA by the standard addition method on three river water samples with high accuracy (RSD 1.8–9.5%). Applying this method, two kinds of APCAs, EDTA and DTPA, were determined in samples from the Oyabe and Senbo Rivers in Japan.  相似文献

Solid-phase microextraction coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography was successfully applied to the analysis of nine phenylurea herbicides (metoxuron, monuron, chlorotoluron, isoproturon, monolinuron, metobromuron, buturon, linuron, and chlorbromuron). Polydimethylsiloxane-divinylbenzene (PDMS-DVB, 60 microm) and Carbowax-templated resin (CW-TPR, 50 microm) fibers were selected from four commercial fibers for further study because of their better extraction efficiencies. The parameters of the desorption procedure were studied and optimized. The effects of the properties of analytes and fiber coatings, carryover, duration and temperature of absorption, pH, organic solvent and ionic strength of samples were also investigated. External calibration with an aqueous standard can be used for the analysis of environmental samples (lake water) using either PDMS-DVB or CW-TPR fibers. Good precisions (1.0-5.9%) are achieved for this method, and the detection limits are at the level of 0.5-5.1 ng/ml.  相似文献

A novel method, dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME) coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography-variable wavelength detector (HPLC-VWD), has been developed for the determination of three phthalate esters (dimethyl phthalate (DMP), diethyl phthalate (DEP), and di-n-butyl phthalate (DnBP)) in water samples. A mixture of extraction solvent (41 μL carbon tetrachloride) and dispersive solvent (0.75 mL acetonitrile) were rapidly injected into 5.0 mL aqueous sample for the formation of cloudy solution, the analytes in the sample were extracted into the fine droplets of CCl4. After extraction, phase separation was performed by centrifugation and the enriched analytes in the sedimented phase were determined by HPLC-VWD. Some important parameters, such as the kind and volume of extraction solvent and dispersive solvent, extraction time and salt effect were investigated and optimized. Under the optimum extraction condition, the method yields a linear calibration curve in the concentration range from 5 to 5000 ng mL−1 for target analytes. The enrichment factors for DMP, DEP and DnBP were 45, 92 and 196, respectively, and the limits of detection were 1.8, 0.88 and 0.64 ng mL−1, respectively. The relative standard deviations (R.S.D.) for the extraction of 10 ng mL−1 of phthalate esters were in the range of 4.3-5.9% (n = 7). Lake water, tap water and bottled mineral water samples were successfully analyzed using the proposed method.  相似文献

Headspace liquid-phase microextraction (HS-LPME) has been applied to efficient enrichment of phenols such as 2-nitrophenol, 4-chlorophenol, 2,4-dichlorophenol, and 2-naphthol from water samples based on 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([C4MIM][PF6]) as an extractant. Some parameters that may influence HS-LPME were investigated. The linear range was in the range of 0.5-100 microg/L, and the enrichment factors and repeatability (RSD, n = 6) of the proposed method were in the range of 17.2-160.7 and 5.4-8.9%, respectively. The detection limit for each analyte ranged from 0.3 to 0.5 microg/L. Complex matrices of environmental water samples had a small effect on the enrichment, and this problem could be resolved by the addition of sodium ethylene diamine tetraacetate (EDTA) into the samples. The spiked recoveries were in the range of 89.4-114.2%. All these facts demonstrated that the proposed method, with merits of low cost, simplicity, and easy operation, would be a competitive alternative procedure for the determination of such compounds at trace level.  相似文献

A method for the determination of the earthy and musty odors geosmin, 2-methylisoborneol (2-MIB), 2-isobutyl-3-methoxy pyrazine (IBMP), 2-isopropyl-3-methoxy pyrazine (IPMP) and 2,4,6-trichloroanisole (2,4,6-TCA) in water by headspace solid-phase microextraction (HSSPME) combined with gas chromatography-ion trap mass spectrometry (GC-ITMS) is described. Several parameters of the extraction and desorption procedure were studied and optimized (such as types of fibers, extraction temperature, extraction time, desorption temperature, desorption time, ionic strength and elutropic strength and pH of samples). The method shows good linearity over the concentration range 1-500 ng l−1 and gives detection limits of sub-part per trillion levels for all compounds. Good precision (5.9-9.8%) is obtained using IBMP as internal standard. Finally, the method was successfully applied to analyze earthy and musty odors in tap water and lake water.  相似文献

In this study, the steroid hormone levels in river and tap water samples were determined by using a novel dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction method based on the solidification of a floating organic drop (DLLME-SFO). Several parameters were optimized, including the type and volume of the extraction and dispersive solvents, extraction time, and salt effect. DLLME-SFO is a fast, cheap, and easy-to-use method for detecting trace levels of samples. Most importantly, this method uses less-toxic solvent. The correlation coefficient of the calibration curve was higher than 0.9991. The linear range was from 5 to 1000 μg L−1. The spiked environmental water samples were analyzed using DLLME-SFO. The relative recoveries ranged from 87% to 116% for river water (which was spiked with 4 μg L−1 for E1, 3 μg L−1 for E2, 4 μg L−1 for EE2 and 9 μg L−1 for E3) and 89% to 102% for tap water (which was spiked with 6 μg L−1 for E1, 5 μg L−1 for E2, 6 μg L−1 for EE2 and 10 μg L−1 for E3). The detection limits of the method ranged from 0.8 to 2.7 μg L−1 for spiked river water and 1.4 to 3.1 μg L−1 for spiked tap water. The methods precision ranged from 8% to 14% for spiked river water and 7% to 14% for spiked tap water.  相似文献

The potential of eggshell membrane (ESM) as a novel solid-phase extraction bio-adsorbent was investigated in the present study. The ESM with a unique structure of intricate lattice network showed a predominant ability to capture linear alkylbenzene sulfonates (LAS) as a model of organic pollutants by the hydrophobic interactions between ESM and LAS molecular at pH very close to the isoelectric point of ESM, which was similar to the most widely used trapping mechanism for SPE. Under the optimal conditions, the breakthrough capacities of the ESM packed cartridge for C10–C13 LAS homologues were found to be 30, 53, 50, and 43 μg g−1, respectively. On the basis of high-performance liquid chromatography separation and UV detection of LAS homologues, the proposed system could respond down to 0.027 ng mL−1 of LAS with a linear calibration range from 0.2 to 100 ng mL−1, showing a good LAS enrichment ability of eggshell membrane biomaterial with high sensitivity, and could be successfully used for the detection of residual LAS in environmental water samples. The reproducibility among columns was satisfactory (RSD among columns is less than 10%). A comparison study with ESM, C8 and C18 as adsorbents for LAS demonstrated that ESM-based bio-adsorbent was advantageous over C8 and C18, the widely used traditional adsorbents.  相似文献
