The polyamines, octyl-[2-(2-octylamino-ethylamino)-ethyl]-amine (L1) and octyl-{2-[2-(2-octylamino-ethylamino)-ethylamino]-ethyl}-amine (L2), have been used as anion ionophores in PVC-based membrane ion-selective electrodes. Different electrodes were prepared containing L1, or L2, and o-nitrophenyl octyl ether (NPOE) or bis(2-ethylhexyl)sebacate (DOS) as plasticizers. The response of the electrodes was tested in two different buffers, HEPES-KOH (pH 7) and MES-KOH (pH 5.6). Electrodes containing L1 and L2 with NPOE (E1 and E2, respectively) showed a Nernstian response for thiocyanate with a good response time. The detection limit, linear range and slope for electrode E1 were 3.8 × 10−6 mol dm−3, 1 × 10−5 to 1 × 10−1 mol dm−3 and −57.2 mV decade−1 at pH 5.6 and 4.47 × 10−6 mol dm−3, 1.95 × 10−5 to 1 × 10−1 mol dm−3 and −58.1 mV decade−1 at pH 7.0. For electrode E2 the detection limit, linear range and slope found were 2.63 × 10−6 mol dm−3, 7.94 × 10−6 to 1 × 10−1 mol dm−3 and −58.5 mV decade−1 at pH 5.6 and 1.23 × 10−5 mol dm−3, 7.95 × 10−5 to 1 × 10−1 mol dm−3 and −46.0 mV decade−1 at pH 7. In contrast, electrodes containing DOS as plasticizers gave only response at pH 5.6 (detection limit, linear range and slope at pH 5.6 were 3.16 × 10−5 mol dm−3, 1 × 10−4 to 1 × 10−1 mol dm−3 and −52.6 mV decade−1). Selectivity coefficients for different anions with respect to thiocyanate were calculated. The electrode E2 at pH 5.6 was also used for the determination of SCN by potentiometric titrations with Ag+ ions with good results. The electrode E2 was also used to determine concentrations of thiocyanate in biological samples.  相似文献

The electrochemistry of metronidazole, 1-(hydroxyethyl)-2-methyl-5-nitroimidazole, was investigated at a carbon fiber microdisk electrode in pH 9 Britton Robinson buffer. Under these conditions, the reduction of metronidazole is controlled by both mass transport to the microdisk and adsorption with an equilibrium constant of 4 × 103 mol−1 dm3 and a saturation coverage of 0.88 × 10−8 mol cm−2. The adsorption and accumulation of metronidazole on the surface of the carbon fiber allows its determination at low concentrations by square wave adsorptive stripping voltammetry. A detection limit for metronidazole of 5 × 10−7 mol dm−3 and a R.S.D. of 3.7% at 1 × 10−6 mol dm−3 (n = 4) were obtained with a two electrode system with no stirring during the accumulation step. Based on this method, a simple procedure for the determination of metronidazole in urine is described which requires no pre-treatment of the sample before analysis.  相似文献

The thermal lens optical scheme-design was optimised for microscopic measurements in microchannels. The efficient pathlength of the sample, irradiated volume, and the diameter of the thermal lens were estimated. Experimental time curves of development of the thermal lens and periodical oscillations of the signal due to convectional heat transfer are in good agreement with the theoretically expected behaviour. Noise sources (laser noises, instrumental flicker noise, convection, and flow noise) were studied. The possible effect of probe laser power on transient and steady-state thermal lens measurements were estimated. The effect of solvent absorption on the performance characteristics is shown. Under the optimum optical scheme-design, the limits of detection of ferroin and Sunset Yellow FCF at 488.0 nm are 1×10−8 and 4×10−9 mol dm−3, respectively (corresponding quantities in the detection volume are 3×10−21 and 1×10−21 mol). The total linear calibration range is n×10−8 to n×10−4 mol dm−3, the repeatability R.S.D. for this range is 3-7%. The optimised instrument was also used for the determination of characteristic rate constants of formation and dissociation of ferroin at the level of n × 10−8 mol dm−3. A supported liquid and a poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC)-based membrane selective for dodecylsulfate (DS) ion are described. The active element is a membrane containing a dissolved ion association complex of DS with cetylpyridinium (CP+) cation. The supported liquid membrane electrode (acetophenone as solvent) showed a Nernstian response towards the DS anion over the concentration range of sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) from 8.3×10−3 to 1.0×10−6 mol dm−3 at 25 °C. The proposed electrode also showed a super-Nernstian potential response (108±2 mV decade−1) at low concentrations (1.0×10−9 to 1.0×10−6 mol dm−3). Moreover, this electrode showed good selectivity and precision (R.S.D.?2.0%), and was usable within the pH range 4.0-6.8. The proposed electrode revealed a lower limit of detection of 6.3×10−7 mol dm−3 and improved selectivity in comparison with the some previously reported DS ion selective electrodes. The isothermal temperature coefficient of this electrode amounted to −0.001 V °C−1. The liquid membrane electrode may find application in the direct determination of SDS by the standard addition method at pH 5.0, and in the physicochemical studies of surfactant solutions.  相似文献

A fluorometric method for quantity analysis of biothiols was developed using a graphene oxide (GO)-based “molecular beacon”-like probe, which consisted of FITC labeled thymine (T)-rich single-stranded DNA (ssDNA), GO and Hg2+ ions. The labeled ssDNA containing T–T mismatches would self-hybridize to duplex in the presence of Hg2+, which can avoid its adsorption on GO and the fluorescence of this GO-based probe was recovered. The fluorescence of the probe quenched after the addition of biothiols such as glutathione (GSH) and cysteine (Cys) owing to thiol groups can selectively competitive ligation of Hg2+ ions with T–T mismatches. In the present work, the GO-based probe was used for the determination of GSH and Cys. Under the optimal conditions, a linear correlation was established between fluorescence intensity ratio I0/I and the concentration of GSH in the range of 2.0 × 10−9–5.0 × 10−7 mol L−1 with a detection limit of 1.0 × 10−9 mol L−1. The linear range for Cys is from 5.0 × 10−9 to 4.5 × 10−7 mol L−1 with a detection limit of 2.0 × 10−9 mol L−1. The proposed method was applied to the determination of GSH in human serum and cell extract samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A simple, rapid flow injection chemiluminescence (FI-CL) method has been developed for selective determination of acenaphthylene (ACY), based on the CL produced in the reaction of tris(2,2′-bipyridine)ruthenium(III) (Ru(bipy)33+) and ACY in an acidic buffer solution. Under the optimum experimental conditions, the calibration curve was linear over the range 5.0 × 10−3 to 4.0 × 10−7 mol L−1 for ACY. The detection limit (S/N = 3) was 2.0 × 10−7 mol L−1 and the relative standard deviation of 10 replicate measurements was 2.3% for 5.0 × 10−5 mol L−1 of ACY. Selectivity of CL reaction of ACY from other 15 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) was investigated by flow injection method. An in situ plated lead film electrode has been applied for adsorptive stripping voltammetric determination of trace concentrations of molybdenum in the presence of Alizarin S. The procedure is based on the preconcentration of the molybdenum-Alizarin S complex at an in situ plated lead film electrode held at −0.6 V (versus Ag/AgCl), followed by a negatively sweeping square wave voltammetric scan. The peak current is proportional to the concentration of molybdenum over the range 2 × 10−9 to 5 × 10−8 mol L−1, with a 3σ detection limit of 9 × 10−10 mol L−1 with an accumulation time of 60 s. The measurements were carried out from underaerated solutions. The proposed procedure was validated in the course of Mo(VI) determination in water certified reference materials.  相似文献

Gold nanoparticles (Au nps) have been synthesized in aqueous solution of polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) by gamma radiolysis from HAuCl4·3H2O precursor and in presence of small concentrations of Ag+, 2-propanol and acetone. The effect of different experimental parameters, such as concentration of reactant, molecular weight of PVP on nanoparticle formation was studied. TEM image confirmed that spherical Au nps were formed when PVP of molecular weight 360,000 Da was used as capping agent. H2O2 is a reactant in the enzyme catalyzed reaction of o-phenylene diamine (o-PDA). The reaction product has a weak absorption in the yellow region of the spectrum. When this product interacts with Au nps, it leads to enhancement of the absorption peak. The nanoparticles synthesized by radiation method were used for estimation of H2O2. The absorbance value of this peak at λmax was observed to change with H2O2 concentration, which was monitored for estimation of H2O2. The response is linear in the range of 2.5×10−6 mol dm−3 to 2×10−4 mol dm−3 and 1×10−7 mol dm−3 to 3×10−6 mol dm−3 H2O2 in two separate sets of experimental parameters with detection limit 1×10−7 mol dm−3.  相似文献

A flow injection (FI) method is reported for the determination of thyroxine based on its enhancement of chemiluminescence (CL) from the Ru(bpy)33+-NADH system. The calibration graph was linear over the range 2.0-10 × 10−8 mol L−1 (r2 = 0.9989) with relative standard deviations (R.S.D.) in the range 2.0-4.5% (n = 4). The limit of detection (3σ blank) was 1.0 × 10−9 mol L−1 with sample throughput of 120 h−1. The effect of some organic compounds, anions and cations were studied for l-thyroxine determination. The method was applied to pharmaceutical preparations and the results obtained were in reasonable agreement with the amount labeled. The method was statistically compared with the results obtained by RIA; no significant disagreement at 95% confidence limit was observed. A calibration graph of NADH over the range 1.3 × 10−8-1.3 × 10−6 mol L−1 was also established (r2 = 0.9992) with R.S.D. in the range1.0-3.5% (n = 4). The limit of detection (3σ) was 1.0 × 10−10 mol L−1 NADH.  相似文献

A reagent tablet for determination of fluoride ion has been prepared using ethylenediamine-N,N,N′,N′-tetraacetate complex of zirconium (Zr-EDTA), 3-hydroxy-2′-flavone (FS) and an appropriate pH buffer. Dissolving of the tablet into water exhibits an intense blue fluorescence (λmax = 460 nm) upon excitation at 377 nm and the fluorescence intensity decreases with the presence of fluoride ion. Hence, a simple fluorescent detection procedure for fluoride ion in aqueous media was successfully constructed with this tablet. The principle of this detection system is the ligand exchange reaction of FS bound to Zr-EDTA with fluoride ion. The present system provides an easy, rapid and selective determination method of fluoride ion ranging from 5 × 10−6 to 1 × 10−3 mol dm−3. The measurement of real samples with this tablet showed the similar results as those by the common method with the Alfusone reagent.  相似文献

A flow-injection turbidimetric procedure exploiting merging zones is proposed for determining homatropine methylbromide (HMB) in pharmaceutical preparations. The determination is based on the precipitation reaction of homatropine methylbromide with silicotungstic acid in acidic medium to form a precipitate, which was measured at 410 nm. The analytical curve was linear in the HMB concentration range from 8.1 × 10−5 to 2.2 × 10−4 mol l−1, with a detection limit of 5.0 × 10−6 mol l−1. The recoveries ranged from 96 to 103%, the sampling frequency was 70 determinations per hour and relative standard deviations were less than 1.5% (n = 10). The results obtained for commercial formulations using the FIA procedure were in good agreement with those obtained by using a comparative method.  相似文献

A novel, simple, sensitive and precise spectrofluorimetric method was developed for measuring the melamine concentration in different milk batch samples. The method was based upon measuring the quenching of the luminescence intensity of the produced yellow colored ruthenium(II) carbonyl complex of the general formula [Ru(CO)2(L)] (where L = anion of tetradentate Schiff base). The Ru(II) complex exhibited characteristic luminescence band in the visible region. The remarkable quenching of the luminescence intensity of [Ru(CO)2(L)] complex by various concentrations of melamine was successfully used as a chemosensor for the assessment of melamine in different milk samples at λex = 400 nm and pH 7.4 in DMSO with a linear dynamic range 1.0 × 10−6 to 3.0 × 10−9 mol L−1 and lower detection limit (LOD) and quantification detection limit (QOD) of 3.3 × 10−10 and 1.0 × 10−9 mol L−1, respectively.  相似文献

The interaction between mercaptoacetic acid (MA)-capped CdTe QDs, MA-capped CdTe/ZnS QDs or glutathione (GSH)-capped CdTe QDs with As(III) was studied using fluorescence spectrometry. As (III) has a high-affinity to reduced-GSH to form As(SG)3, and the emission of the GSH-capped CdTe QDs (λem. = 612 nm) is quenched effectively. Thus, a novel fluorescence spectrometric method was developed for As (III) determination by using GSH-CdTe QDs. Under optimal conditions, the quenched fluorescence intensity (F0/F) increased linearly with the concentration of As (III) ranging from 5.0 × 10−6 to 25 × 10−5 mol L−1. The limit of detection (3σ) for As (III) was found to be 2 × 10−8 mol L−1. This method is potentially useful in visual detection of As (III) under irradiation of the ultraviolet light.  相似文献

Nitric oxide (NO) plays a very important role in human blood system. In this work, a novel approach has been developed for the quantitation of ultra-trace NO derivatized with 1,3,5,7-tetramethyl-8-(3′,4′-diaminophenyl)-difluoroboradiaza-s- indacene (DAMBO) using a polymer monolith microextraction (PMME) with a poly(methacrylic acid-ethylene glycol dimethacrylate) (MAA-EGDMA) monolith in conjunction with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Both derivatization and PMME conditions have been optimized in detail. The detection limit of derivatized NO was 2 × 10−12 mol L−1 (signal to noise = 3) and linear range was 9 × 10−11-4.5 × 10−8 mol L−1. The proposed DAMBO-based derivatization-PMME-HPLC-fluorescence detection method has been successfully applied for the determination of NO in 10 μL blood samples of healthy persons and patients suffering from ischemic cardio-cerebrovascular diseases with recoveries varying from 87.40 to 91.60%.  相似文献

A sensitive method of Co(II) determination by adsorptive stripping voltammetry is presented. The method exploits the enhancement of cobalt peak current observed in the system Co(II)-nioxime-cetyltrimethylammonium bromide-piperazine-N,N′-bis(2-ethanesulfonic acid). The calibration plot for an accumulation time of 60 s is linear from 5 × 10−11 to 3 × 10−9 mol L−1. The relative standard deviation is 3.8% for Co(II) determination at concentration 1 × 10−9 mol L−1. The detection limit is 1.7 × 10−11 mol L−1. The validation of the method is performed by the analyses of certified reference materials and comparing the result of Co(II) determination in river water sample by the proposed method with those obtained by ET AAS. The main advantage of this new system is the micro-trace Co(II) determination by adsorptive stripping voltammetry, as compared to those described before, a low concentration of the supporting electrolyte used, and so commercially available reagents without additional purification can be used.  相似文献

Numerous drugs are carboxylic acid derivatives containing amino group, and hydrolysis reaction of these agents often generates toxic amines. Thus, the detection of amine impurity is of great importance in drug quality control of these amino group-containing ester and amide. A capillary electrophoresis method coupled with end-column electrochemiluminescent detection based on tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) system was proposed for the analysis of N,N-dimethyl ethanolamine (DMEA, the degradation product of meclophenoxate) in the presence of its precursor. Baseline separation of DMEA and meclophenoxate can be easily achieved under the selected conditions. DMEA can be assayed within 3 min over the concentration range of 5.0 × 10−8 to 3.0 × 10−6 mol L−1 with a detection limit of 2.0 × 10−8 mol L−1 at the signal-to-noise ratio of 3. The relative standard deviations of the signal intensity and the migration time were less than 5.3 and 2.5% for a standard sample containing 1.0 × 10−7 mol L−1 DMEA (n = 5), respectively. The presented method has been successfully applied for the profiling of DMEA resulting from the hydrolysis of meclophenoxate in commercial formulations. A primary stability investigation of meclophenoxate in aqueous solution was also carried out at different temperatures, and the results showed that the degradation of meclophenoxate accelerated at the higher temperature.  相似文献

A sensitive and selective electrochemical sensor based on a polyaniline modified carbon electrode for the determination of l-phenylalanine has been proposed by utilizing β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) incorporated multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWNT) and imprinted sol-gel film. The electrochemical behavior of the sensor towards l-phenylalanine was investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV), differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), and amperometric i-t curve. The surface morphologies of layer-by-layer assembly electrodes were displayed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The response mechanism of the imprinted sensor for l-phenylalanine was based on the inclusion interaction of β-CD and molecular recognition capacity of the imprinted film for l-phenylalanine. A linear calibration plot was obtained covering the concentration range from 5.0 × 10−7 to 1.0 × 10−4 mol L−1 with a detection limit of 1.0 × 10−9 mol L−1. With excellent sensitivity, selectivity, stability, reproducibility and recovery, the electrochemical imprinted sensor was used to detect l-phenylalanine in blood plasma samples successfully.  相似文献

A sensitive method is described for the determination of trace bismuth based on the bismuth-bromopyrogallol red (BPR) adsorption at a carbon paste electrode (CPE). The overall analysis involved a three-step procedure: accumulation, reduction, and anodic stripping. Optimal conditions were found to be an electrode containing 25% paraffin oil and 75% high purity graphite powder, a 0.30 mol l−1 HCl solution containing 2.0×10−5 mol l−1 BPR as supporting medium; accumulation potential and time, −0.10 V, 3 min; reduction potential and time, −0.35 V, 60 s; scan rate 100 mV s−1; scan range from −0.35 to 0.15 V. It was found that the Bi(III)-BPR complex could be accumulated on the electrode surface during the accumulation period. Then the Bi(III) in the Bi(III)-BPR complex on the CPE surface was reduced to Bi(0) during reduction interval and finally reoxidized during the anodic stripping step for voltammetric quantification. Factors affecting the accumulation, reduction, and stripping steps were investigated. Interferences by other ions were studied as well. The detection limit was found to be 5×10−10 mol l−1 with a 3 min accumulation time. The linear range was from 1.0×10−9 to 5.0×10−7 mol l−1. Application of the procedure to the determination of bismuth in water and human hair samples gave good results.  相似文献

A new microflow injection chemiluminescence (μFI-CL) system was described for the determination of cisplatin in human serum. By using the microchip with double spiral channel configuration, the sensitivity was greatly enhanced due to more efficient mixing of the analyte and reagent solutions. Experimental results revealed that common ions in human serum, such as Mn2+, Co2+, Fe3+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Ni2+, Na+, K+, Ca2+, Cl, NO3, Ac, CO32−, PO43−, SO42− did not cause interference with the detection of Pt(II) by using 1,10-phenanthroline as the masking agent. Under the optimized conditions, a linear calibration curve (R2 = 0.998) over the range 2.0 × 10−8 to 2.0 × 10−6 mol L−1 was obtained with the detection limit of 1.24 × 10−9 mol L−1. The relative standard deviation was found to be 3.46% (n = 12) for 2.0 × 10−7 mol L−1. The sample consumption was only 2 μL with the sample throughput of 72 h−1. It had been used for trace platinum determination in cisplatin injection and human serum samples after the dosage of cisplatin. The recovery varied from 97.6 to 103.9%. The results proved that the proposed μFI-CL system had the advantages of high sensitivity and precision, low sample and reagents consumption, and high analytical throughput.  相似文献

A novel voltammetric sensor for O,O-dimethyl-(2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetoxyl)(3′-nitrophenyl)methinephosphonate (Phi-NO2) based on molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) film electrode is constructed by using sol-gel technology. The sensor responds linearly to Phi-NO2 over the concentration range of 2.0 × 10−5 to 1.0 × 10−8 mol L−1 and the detection limit is 1.0 × 10−9 mol L−1 (S/N = 3). This sensor provides an efficient way for eliminating interferences from coexisting substances in the solution. The high sensitivity, selectivity and stability of the sensor demonstrates its practical application for a simple and rapid determination of Phi-NO2 in cabbage samples.  相似文献
