Infrared spectra (4000–200 cm−1) are reported for metal halide(II) benzimidazole complexes of the following stoichiometries: M(benz)X2 [M=Cd, Cu; X=Cl, Br; BENZ=benzimidazole], Co(benz)2, and Co(benz)2X2 [X=Cl, Br, I]. Vibrational assignments are given for all the observed bands. The analysis of the vibrational spectra indicates that there are some structure–spectra correlations. For a given series of isomorphous complexes the sum of the difference between the values of the vibrational modes of uncoordinated benzimidazole and coordinated to metal ion benzimidazole was found to increase in the order of the second ionization potentials of metals.  相似文献

Summary UV spectra, dc polarograms, cyclic voltammetry and coulometry measurements of salicylaldehyde-4-(2-pyridyl)-3-thiosemicarbazone (H2 SPT) were recorded inBritton-Robinson buffer solutions ofpH 2–12. The dissociation constants of H2 SPT evaluated spectrophotometrically and potentiometrically in a 5% (v/v)DMF-water mixture are concordant. The dc-polarograms in solutions ofpH<8.5 exhibit a single 4-electron diffusion-controlled polarographic wave, whereas in solutions ofpH>8.5 two waves are observed. The cyclic voltammograms give a single cathodic peak in acidic and neutral solutions, whereas two cathodic peaks can be identified in alkaline ones. An electrode mechanism is proposed and discussed. The effect of temperature on the dissociation constants and the polarographic data was also investigated; the corresponding thermodynamic parameters were derived and are discussed.
Thermodynamische und voltammetrische Untersuchungen an Salicylaldehyd-4-(2-pyridyl)-3-thiosemicarbazon
Zusammenfassung UV-Spektroskopische, dc-polarographische, voltammetrische und coulometrische Messungen an Salicylaldehyd-4-(2-pyridyl)-3-thiosemicarbazon (H2 SPT) inBritton-Robinson-Pufferlösungen (pH 2–12) wurden durchgeführt. Die spektrophotometrisch und potentiometrisch ermittelten Dissoziationskonstanten von H2 SPT in 5% (v/v)DMF/Wasser stimmen überein. In Lösungen mit einempH-Wert unter 8.5 zeigen die dc-Polarogramme eine einzelne diffusionskontrollierte polarographische Welle (4e), während in Lösungen mit einempH-Wert von über 8.5 zwei Wellen zu beobachten sind. Die cyclischen Voltammogramme weisen in sauren und neutralen Lösungen einen, in basischen Lösungen hingegen zwei kathodische Peaks auf. Ein Elektrodenmechanismus wird vorgeschlagen und diskutiert. Der Effekt der Temperatur auf die Dissoziationskonstanten und die polarographischen Ergebnisse wurde ebenfalls untersucht. Die entsprechenden thermodynamischen Größen wurden bestimmt und werden diskutiert.

The previously unreported 4-(4-iodophenyl)piperazine ( 2 ) was synthesized in a 70% yield and characterized. The reaction of 2 with S-methylthiouronium sulfate gave the corresponding carboxamidino derivative 4 in a 61% yield. The tlc properties of 4 were identical with those of the radioiodinated material that had been prepared and evaluated as a potential myocardial imaging radiopharmaceutical.  相似文献

Two new dioxane clathrates of the form M(4-tert-bupy)2 Ni(CN)4·dioxane (M = Ni or Co) have been prepared in powder form. The Raman and infrared spectra of N-(2-pyridyl)thioformamide and N-(2-pyridyl)-thioacetamide have been measured. The assignment of the bands is aided by the complete normal coordinate treatment for all the vibrations of N-(2-pyridyl)thioformamide and its N-deuterated molecule using a Urey—Bradley force function for the in-plane vibrations and a valence force function for the out of plane vibrations. Variable temperature 1H NMR study of the two pyridylthionamides has also been performed. It is inferred that while N-(2-pyridyl)thioformamide favours a cis —CSNH— group, the other compound favours a trans —CSNH— grouping at ambient temperature.  相似文献

The pyridyl-lead complexes [Pb(m)-C5H4N](-) (m = 1-4), which are produced from the reactions between lead clusters formed by laser ablation and the pyridine molecules seeded in argon carrier gas, are studied by photoelectron (PE) spectra and density functional theory. The adiabatic electron affinity (EA) of [Pb(m)C5H4N](-) is obtained from PE spectra at photon energies of 308 and 193 nm. Theoretical calculation is carried out to elucidate their structures and bonding modes. A variety of geometries for the isomers are optimized to search for the lowest-energy geometry. By comparing the theoretical results, including the EA and simulated density of state spectra, with the experimental determination, the lowest-energy structures for each species are obtained. The following analysis of the molecular orbital composition provides the evidence that the pyridyl binds on lead clusters through the Pb-C sigma bond. Moreover, there is an apparent spin-state transition from triplet state toward singlet state for the ground-state structure of [Pb(m)C5H4N](-) with an increase of lead cluster.  相似文献

An X-ray structure analysis of 1-(p-tolyl)-4-[4-(N-naphthalimido)butyl]piperazine (I) was carried out: a=9.551(3), b=13.775(3), á=8.917(4) , =103.96(3), =101.47(4), =92.60(3)°, V=1110.4(7) 3, Z=2,calc=1.279 g/cm3, =0.644 mm, space group P 1, 4239 nonzero reflections, R=0.056. The molecule is linear elongated. The p-tolyl and naphthalimide fragments are almost planar, while the piperazine cycle has a chair conformation. The long well-packed molecules form parallel and antiparallel chains with van der Waals interactions between them.  相似文献

Abstract

C6H5Se?Na+ (generated in situ by NaBH4 reduction of (C6H5Se)2) on reaction with ClC3H6C4H8N2ClC6H5 under N2 atmosphere results in C6H5SeC3H6C4H8N2ClC6H5 (L) as a cream-colored solid. Its 1:1 metal complexes having the general formula [MLX2], where M?=?Zn, Cd, Hg, and X?=?Cl, have been prepared. Ligand L and its complexes 1–3 are characterized on the basis of physico-chemical and spectral (FT-IR, ESI Mass, 1H, 13C, DEPT 135° 13C {1H}, and 77Se{1H} NMR) studies. IR spectroscopy revealed that L is coordinated solely through selenium and nitrogen to zinc, cadmium, and mercury ions forming a six-membered chelate ring around M(II) ions. Elemental analysis measurements along with 1H, 13C, DEPT 135° 13C {1H}, and ESI-mass data also confirm the bidentate coordination mode of the ligand. Moreover, the coordination from selenium atom is also supported by the downfield shift of signal in 77Se{1H} NMR spectroscopy. Using DFT-based optimization of structures, the HOMO-LUMO energy gaps and molecular electrostatic potential surface of ligand L and complexes 1–3 were theoretically calculated at the B3LYP/LANL2DZ level of theory. Ligand L and complexes 1–3 display significant antibacterial and antifungal activity.  相似文献

Organosilane sol-gels have been prepared under different conditions from mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane (MPTMS) and mercaptopropyltriethoxysilane (MPTES). These sol-gels were applied for the thin film coating on aluminum. Vibrational spectroscopy has been employed to trace and to study the proceeding of the sol-gel formation and the curing of the coated films on Al. Based on the group frequencies as well as their spectral behavior under different conditions, vibrational assignments have been made for most of the observed bands. Surface enhanced Raman scattering has revealed the chemical adsorption of MPTMS sol-gel on silver particles. Recorded reflection and absorption infrared (RAIR) spectra of coated tiles cured at different temperatures have indicated that surface reaction may occur at high temperature. The anticorrosion characters of the coated metals have been evaluated with the measured electrochemical data. Results from cyclic voltammographs have indicated that each layer of sol-gel coating would reduce the redox current across the electrode/electrolyte solution interface. Tafel plots have shown that the anodic current of the coated electrode decreases significantly and the corrosion potentials shift to the positive side.  相似文献

A series of new substituted 2-(4-chlorophenoxy)-1-(3-pyridyl)ethan-1-ols has been obtained by the interaction of substituted 3-(oxiranyl)pyridines with 4-chlorophenol or sodium 4-chlorophenoxide for pharmacological and agrochemical screening. 2-(4-Pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine, 2-(4-pyridyl)-4-methyl-1,3,5-triazine, 2-(4-pyridyl)-4,6-dimethyl-1,3,5-triazine and 2-(4-pyridyl)pyrimidine have been prepared by modification of established triazine and pyrimidine syntheses. These compounds and some of their relatives have been converted to quaternary pyridinium salts. The polarographic reduction potentials of the salts in aqueous solution are pH dependent. The tobacco-specific nitrosamine 4-(methylnitrosamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanone (NNK) is a component of tobacco smoke and is rapidly metabolized to 4-(methylnitrosamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanol (NNAL). Limited information is available on the relative systemic exposures resulting from NNK administration via the oral, intraperitoneal injection, and inhalation routes. Moreover, there is a need for a rapid method for simultaneous quantitative analyses of NNK and NNAL in rat urine. We developed a method based on Ultra Fast Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (UFLC/MS/MS) for the extraction and analysis of the potent lung carcinogens NNK and NNAL. Following addition of synthetic labeled internal standards, urine was introduced to 96 well plate Evolute® Express CX 30?mg solid phase extraction system. The eluates were dried under vacuum and reconstituted in mobile phase before injecting to the LC system. The use of UFLC allowed for a 7.1?min run time. The precision and accuracy of the samples was 1.2-6.6% relative standard deviation (%RSD) and 91-113% of the concentration added, respectively. The limits of detection for NNK and NNAL were 70 and 3.0?pg/mL, respectively. The selectivity and sensitivity of this method improves the ability to measure these compounds at low concentrations and greatly facilitate toxicological studies of the NNK and NNAL.  相似文献

Summary The changes in the state of order in poly(trans-octenylene) and poly(trans-dodecenylene) are studied by Raman and FTIR-spectroscopy in dependence of temperature and applied stress. The observed spectral changes are discussed on the basis of a normal coordinate analysis.

Raman, and infrared spectra of mesna and dimesna have been collected in the present spectroscopic studies. Based on the group frequencies, relative intensities and Raman depolarization measurements, some vibrational assignments have been suggested. For both mesna and dimesna, at least two rotational conformers have been identified. Adsorption behavior was investigated from the recorded surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectra. It was found that both mesna and dimesna adsorbed as thiolate on silver sol particles with the cleavage of the S-H bond in mesna and the S-S bond in dimesna. For the adsorbed thiolate, two conformers existed in the adsorption state.  相似文献
