A novel family of four 1‐bromo‐2,6‐bis{[(λ5‐phosphanylidene)imino]methyl}benzene ligands has been synthesized and characterized. The phosphiniminomethyl substituents are decorated with either three phenyl groups, two phenyl and one cyclohexyl group, one phenyl and two cyclohexyl groups, or three cyclohexyl groups. Each ligand was metallated using zero‐valent nickel through an oxidative addition to form a family of organonickel(II) complexes, namely (2,6‐bis{[(triphenyl‐λ5‐phosphanylidene)imino]methyl}phenyl‐κ3N,C1,N′)bromidonickel(II) dichloromethane hemisolvate, [NiBr(C44H37N2P2)]·0.5CH2Cl2, (2,6‐bis{[(cyclohexyldiphenyl‐λ5‐phosphanylidene)imino]methyl}phenyl‐κ3N,C1,N′)bromidonickel(II) diethyl ether hemisolvate, [NiBr(C44H49N2P2)]·0.5C4H10O, (2,6‐bis{[(dicyclohexylphenyl‐λ5‐phosphanylidene)imino]methyl}phenyl‐κ3N,C1,N′)bromidonickel(II), [NiBr(C44H61N2P2)], and (2,6‐bis{[(tricyclohexyl‐λ5‐phosphanylidene)imino]methyl}phenyl‐κ3N,C1,N′)bromidonickel(II), [NiBr(C44H73N2P2)]. This family of complexes represents a useful opportunity to investigate the impact of incrementally changing the steric characteristics of a complex on its structure and reactivity.  相似文献

The synthesis of a series of N‐glycosyl caboranylquinazolines is described. The condensation reaction of nitro‐acetylanthranilic acid with aminophenylcarborane gave 3‐[(o‐carboran‐1‐yl)phenyl]‐2‐methyl‐6‐nitroquinazolin‐4(3H)‐one 1 followed by reduction with Na2S to the corresponding 6‐amino‐3‐[(o‐carboran‐1‐yl)phenyl]‐2‐methylquinazolin‐4(3H)‐one 2 . Reaction of compound 2 with D‐glucose or D‐ribose in methanol in the presence of a catalytic amount of acetic acid affords boronated N‐glycosylaminoquinazolines namely: 2‐methyl‐3‐[4‐(o‐carboran‐1‐yl)phenyl]‐6‐[N‐β‐D‐glucopyranosyl)]aminoquinazolin‐4(3H)‐one 3 or 2‐methyl‐3‐[4‐(o‐carboran‐1‐yl)phenyl]‐6‐[N‐β‐D‐ribofuranosyl)]aminoquinazolin‐4(3H)‐one 4 , respectively. Degradation of the o‐caborane cage of compounds 3 and 4 yielded highly water‐soluble compounds of sodium 2‐methyl‐3‐[4‐( nido ‐undecarborate‐1‐yl)phenyl]‐6‐[N‐β‐D‐glucopyranosyl]aminoquinazolin‐4(3H)‐one 5 and sodium 2‐methyl‐3‐[4‐( nido ‐undecarborate‐1‐yl)phenyl]‐6‐[N‐β‐D‐ribofuranosyl)]aminoquinazolin‐4(3H)‐one 6 , respectively. The structures were established on the basis of elemental analysis, NMR, IR and mass spectrometry. The in vitro toxicity test using B16 melanoma cells showed that N‐glycosyl of nido ‐undecaboranylquinazolines ( 5 and 6 ), with higher water solubility, is not toxic at boron concentration of 3000 µg boron ml−1, whereas, N‐glycosyl of closo ‐carboranylquinazolines ( 3 and 4 ) has LD50 > 200 µg boron ml−1. The compounds described here may be considered as potential agents for BNCT. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Two new symmetric double‐armed oxadiazole‐bridged ligands, 4‐methyl‐{5‐[5‐methyl‐2‐(pyridin‐3‐ylcarbonyloxy)phenyl]‐1,3,4‐oxadiazol‐2‐yl}phenyl pyridine‐3‐carboxylate (L1) and 4‐methyl‐{5‐[5‐methyl‐2‐(pyridin‐4‐ylcarbonyloxy)phenyl]‐1,3,4‐oxadiazol‐2‐yl}phenyl pyridine‐4‐carboxylate (L2), were prepared by the reaction of 2,5‐bis(2‐hydroxy‐5‐methylphenyl)‐1,3,4‐oxadiazole with nicotinoyl chloride and isonicotinoyl chloride, respectively. Ligand L1 can be used as an organic clip to bind CuII cations and generate a molecular complex, bis(4‐methyl‐{5‐[5‐methyl‐2‐(pyridin‐3‐ylcarbonyloxy)phenyl]‐1,3,4‐oxadiazol‐2‐yl}phenyl pyridine‐3‐carboxylate)bis(perchlorato)copper(II), [Cu(ClO4)2(C28H20N4O5)2], (I). In compound (I), the CuII cation is located on an inversion centre and is hexacoordinated in a distorted octahedral geometry, with the pyridine N atoms of two L1 ligands in the equatorial positions and two weakly coordinating perchlorate counter‐ions in the axial positions. The two arms of the L1 ligands bend inward and converge at the CuII coordination point to give rise to a spirometallocycle. Ligand L2 binds CuI cations to generate a supramolecule, diacetonitriledi‐μ3‐iodido‐di‐μ2‐iodido‐bis(4‐methyl‐{5‐[5‐methyl‐2‐(pyridin‐4‐ylcarbonyloxy)phenyl]‐1,3,4‐oxadiazol‐2‐yl}phenyl pyridine‐4‐carboxylate)tetracopper(I), [Cu4I4(CH3CN)2(C28H20N4O5)2], (II). The asymmetric unit of (II) indicates that it contains two CuI atoms, one L2 ligand, one acetonitrile ligand and two iodide ligands. Both of the CuI atoms are four‐coordinated in an approximately tetrahedral environment. The molecule is centrosymmetric and the four I atoms and four CuI atoms form a rope‐ladder‐type [Cu4I4] unit. Discrete units are linked into one‐dimensional chains through π–π interactions.  相似文献

Iron(III) complexes [Fe( L )( L′ )(NO3)]—in which L is phenyl‐N,N‐bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methyl]methanamine ( 1 ), (anthracen‐9‐yl)‐N,N‐bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methyl]methanamine ( 2 ), (pyreny‐1‐yl)‐N,N‐bis[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methyl]methanamine ( 3 – 5 ), and L′ is catecholate ( 1 – 3 ), 4‐tert‐butyl catecholate ( 4 ), and 4‐(2‐aminoethyl)‐benzene‐1,2‐diolate ( 5 )—were synthesized and their photocytotoxic properties examined. The five electron‐paramagnetic complexes displayed a FeIII/FeII redox couple near ?0.4 V versus a saturated calomel electrode (SCE) in DMF/0.1 m tetrabutylammonium perchlorate (TBAP). They showed unprecedented photocytotoxicity in red light (600–720 nm) to give IC50≈15 μM in various cell lines by means of apoptosis to generate reactive oxygen species. They were ingested in the nucleus of HeLa and HaCaT cells in 4 h, thereby interacting favorably with calf thymus (ct)‐DNA and photocleaving pUC19 DNA in red light of 785 nm to form hydroxyl radicals.  相似文献

The reaction of 5‐chloro‐3‐methyl‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazole‐4‐carbaldehyde and N‐benzylmethylamine under microwave irradiation gives 5‐[benzyl(methyl)amino]‐3‐methyl‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazole‐4‐carbaldehyde, C19H19N3O, (I). Subsequent reactions under basic conditions, between (I) and a range of acetophenones, yield the corresponding chalcones. These undergo cyclocondensation reactions with hydrazine to produce reduced bipyrazoles which can be N‐formylated with formic acid or N‐acetylated with acetic anhydride. The structures of (I) and of representative examples from this reaction sequence are reported, namely the chalcone (E )‐3‐{5‐[benzyl(methyl)amino]‐3‐methyl‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl}‐1‐(4‐bromophenyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐one, C27H24BrN3O, (II), the N‐formyl derivative (3RS )‐5′‐[benzyl(methyl)amino]‐3′‐methyl‐1′,5‐diphenyl‐3,4‐dihydro‐1′H ,2H‐[3,4′‐bipyrazole]‐2‐carbaldehyde, C28H27N5O, (III), and the N‐acetyl derivative (3RS )‐2‐acetyl‐5′‐[benzyl(methyl)amino]‐5‐(4‐methoxyphenyl)‐3′‐methyl‐1′‐phenyl‐3,4‐dihydro‐1′H ,2H‐[3,4′‐bipyrazole], which crystallizes as the ethanol 0.945‐solvate, C30H31N5O2·0.945C2H6O, (IV). There is significant delocalization of charge from the benzyl(methyl)amino substituent onto the carbonyl group in (I), but not in (II). In each of (III) and (IV), the reduced pyrazole ring is modestly puckered into an envelope conformation. The molecules of (I) are linked by a combination of C—H…N and C—H…π(arene) hydrogen bonds to form a simple chain of rings; those of (III) are linked by a combination of C—H…O and C—H…N hydrogen bonds to form sheets of R 22(8) and R 66(42) rings, and those of (IV) are linked by a combination of O—H…N and C—H…O hydrogen bonds to form a ribbon of edge‐fused R 24(16) and R 44(24) rings.  相似文献

The title compound, trans‐[RuIICl2(N1‐mepym)4] (mepym is 4‐methylpyrimidine, C5H6N2), obtained from the reaction of trans,cis,cis‐[RuIICl2(N1‐mepym)2(SbPh3)2] (Ph is phenyl) with excess mepym in ethanol, has fourfold crystallographic symmetry and has the four pyrimidine bases coordinated through N1 and arranged in a propeller‐like orientation. The Ru—N and Ru—Cl bond distances are 2.082 (2) and 2.400 (4) Å, respectively. The methyl group, and the N3 and Cl atoms are involved in intermolecular C—H?N and C—H?Cl hydrogen‐bond interactions.  相似文献

When treated with LiNiPr2 (LDA) at ?78°, 1‐[(methylsulfanyl)methyl]‐2‐[(1Z,3E)‐4‐phenylbuta‐1,3‐dien‐1‐yl]benzene easily cyclized to form benzocycloheptenyl anion, which successively underwent intramolecular nucleophilic substitution to give a cyclopropanaphthalene. Similar LDA‐mediated cyclization also occurred for 4‐phenyl‐ or 4‐methyl‐substituted 1‐[2‐(methoxymethyl)phenyl]buta‐1,3‐dienes to furnish the corresponding benzocycloheptenes and cyclopropanaphthalenes. A 4‐tert‐butyl analog also underwent LDA‐mediated cyclization to give a benzocycloheptene, but not a cyclopropanaphthalene.  相似文献

2,5‐Bis[4‐methyl‐3‐(pyridin‐3‐yl)phenyl]‐1,3,4‐oxadiazole (L), C26H20N4O, forms one‐dimensional chains via two types of intermolecular π–π interactions. In catena‐poly[[dichloridozinc(II)]‐μ‐2,5‐bis[4‐methyl‐3‐(pyridin‐3‐yl)phenyl]‐1,3,4‐oxadiazole], [ZnCl2(C26H20N4O)]n, synthesized by the combination of L with ZnCl2, the ZnII centres are coordinated by two Cl atoms and two N atoms from two L ligands. [ZnCl2L]n forms one‐dimensional P (plus) and M (minus) helical chains, where the L ligand has different directions of twist. The helical chains stack together via interchain π–π and C—H...π interactions.  相似文献

Enantiopure acrylamide derivatives, N‐[o‐(4‐methyl‐4,5‐dihydro‐1,3‐oxazol‐2‐yl) phenyl]acrylamide (MeOPAM), N‐[o‐(4‐isopropyl‐4,5‐dihydro‐1,3‐oxazol‐2‐yl)phenyl]acrylamide (PriOPAM), and N‐[o‐(4‐phenyl‐4,5‐dihydro‐1,3‐oxazol‐2‐yl)phenyl]acrylamide (PhOPAM), were synthesized and radically polymerized in the presence of rare earth metal trifluoromethanesulfonates (Ln(OTf)3, Ln = La, Nd, Sm, and Y) to yield corresponding optically active polymers. Among these Lewis acids, Y(OTf)3 was found to be most effective for increasing the isotactic specificity during the radical polymerizations when using n‐butanol as solvent. Also, the effect of the Lewis acids was significantly influenced by the ratio of Ln(OTf)3 to monomer. The relationship of both chiroptical property and the chiral recognition with the stereoregularity was then examined for the resulting polymers having various tacticity by spectroscopic techniques such as NMR, fluorescence, and circular dichroism. The results indicated that the polymers rich in isotacticity exhibited a favorable enantioselective discrimination ability toward 1,1′‐bi‐2‐naphthol as evidenced by 1H NMR study, where the characteristic hydroxyl proton signal was split into two peaks that ascribed respectively to the levo‐ and dextro‐isomer; furthermore, the splitting magnitude was linearly correlated with the diad isotacticity of the polymers. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. New triphenylantimony(V) o‐amidophenolates (AP‐Me,Et)SbPh3 (1) and (AP‐Me,iPr)SbPh3 (2) with unsymmetrically substituted N‐aryl groups and (AP‐Et,Et)SbPh3 (3) with symmetrical N‐aryl group {AP‐R1,R2 is 4,6‐di‐tert‐butyl‐N‐[2‐alkyl(R1),6‐alkyl(R2)‐phenyl]‐o‐amidophenolate dianion} were synthesized and characterized in detail. Complexes were examined for dioxygen activity. The unsymmetrical complexes 1 and 2 were found to form different geometrical isomers (A and B) of spiroendoperoxides [L‐R1,R2(O2)]SbPh3 (4 and 5, respectively) with different dispositions of peroxide group and N‐aryl fragment (methyl and peroxide group are on the same side of the molecule in the less shielded isomer A, and on different sides in the more hindered isomer B). The isomer A prevails over isomer B, reflecting the possibility of steric control on the dioxygen‐binding reaction. Complex 3, where R1 = R2 = Et, formed the isomers 6A and 6B as 50:50. The ratio 4A:4B was 60:40 (for methyl‐ethyl containing complex 4) and it increased up to 80:20 for methyl‐isopropyl‐containing 5. The molecular structure of isomers 4A and 4B was confirmed by X‐ray analysis. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A new 1,3,4‐oxadiazole bridging bent organic ligand, 2,5‐bis{5‐methyl‐2‐[(4‐pyridyl)methoxy]phenyl}‐1,3,4‐oxadiazole, C28H24N4O3, L, has been used to create three novel one‐dimensional isomorphic coordination polymers, viz. catena‐poly[[[dichloridomercury(II)]‐μ‐2,5‐bis{5‐methyl‐2‐[(4‐pyridyl)methoxy]phenyl}‐1,3,4‐oxadiazole] methanol monosolvate], {[HgCl2(C28H24N4O3)]·CH3OH}n, catena‐poly[[[dibromidomercury(II)]‐μ‐2,5‐bis{5‐methyl‐2‐[(4‐pyridyl)methoxy]phenyl}‐1,3,4‐oxadiazole] methanol monosolvate], {[HgBr2(C28H24N4O3)]·CH3OH}n, and catena‐poly[[[diiodidomercury(II)]‐μ‐2,5‐bis{5‐methyl‐2‐[(4‐pyridyl)methoxy]phenyl}‐1,3,4‐oxadiazole] methanol monosolvate], {[HgI2(C28H24N4O3)]·CH3OH}n. The free L ligand itself adopts a cis conformation, with the two terminal pyridine rings and the central oxadiazole ring almost coplanar [dihedral angles = 5.994 (7) and 9.560 (6)°]. In the HgII complexes, however, one of the flexible pyridylmethyl arms of ligand L is markedly bent and helical chains are obtained. The HgII atom lies in a distorted tetrahedral geometry defined by two pyridine N‐atom donors from two L ligands and two halide ligands. The helical chains stack together via interchain π–π interactions that expand the dimensionality of the structure from one to two. The methanol solvent molecules link to the complex polymers through O—H...N and O—H...O hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The reaction of 1‐methyl‐1,3‐imidazole‐2‐thione (meimtH) with mercury(II) iodide in methanol in a 2:1 molar ratio resulted in the formation of single crystals of the title compound, [HgI2(C4H6N2S)2]. The Hg atom is coordinated by two I [2.7809 (9) and 2.7999 (8) Å] and two thione S atoms [2.520 (3) and 2.576 (3) Å] with irregular tetrahedral coordination geometry. The NH groups of the imidazole ring take part in intra‐ and intermolecular hydrogen bonds with I atoms [N?I 3.596 (8) and 3.611 (9) Å, respectively] joining molecules into infinite chains parallel to the z axis.  相似文献

The reaction of 2‐cyanopyridine with N‐phenylthiosemicarbazide afforded 2‐[amino(pyridin‐2‐yl)methylidene]‐N‐phenylhydrazine‐1‐carbothioamide (Ham4ph) and crystals of 4‐phenyl‐5‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐2,4‐dihydro‐3H‐1,2,4‐triazole‐3‐thione (pyph3NS, 1 , C13H10N4S). Crystals of methyl 2‐{[4‐phenyl‐5‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐4H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐3‐yl]sulfanyl}acetate (phpy2NS, 2 , C16H14N4O2S), derived from 1 , were obtained by the reaction of Ham4ph with chloroacetic acid, followed by the acid‐catalyzed esterification of the carboxylic acid with methyl alcohol. Crystals of bis(methanol‐κO)bis(methyl 2‐{[4‐phenyl‐5‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐4H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐3‐yl‐κ2N1,N5]sulfanyl}acetato)zinc(II)/cadmium(II) hexabromidocadmate(II), [Zn0.76Cd0.24(C16H14N4O2S)2(CH3OH)2][Cd2Br6] or [Zn0.76Cd0.24(phpy2NS)2(MeOH)2][Cd2Br6], 3 , and dichlorido(methyl 2‐{[4‐phenyl‐5‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐4H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐3‐yl‐κ2N1,N5]sulfanyl}acetato)mercury(II), [HgCl2(C16H14N4O2S)] or [Hg(phpy2NS)Cl2], 4 , were synthesized using ligand 2 and CdBr2 or HgCl2, respectively. The molecular and supramolecular structures of the compounds were studied by X‐ray diffractometry. The asymmetric unit of 3 is formed from CdBr3 and M(phpy2NS)(MeOH) units, where the metal centre M has a 76% occupancy of ZnII and 24% of CdII. The M2+ centre of the cation, located on a crystallographic inversion centre, is hexacoordinated and appears as a slightly distorted octahedral [MN4O2]2+ cation. The Cd centre of the anion is coordinated by two terminal bromide ligands and two bridging bromide ligands that generate [Cd2Br6]2? cadmium–bromide clusters. These clusters display crystallographic inversion symmetry forming two edge‐shared tetrahedra and serve as agents that direct the structure in the formation of supramolecular assemblies. In mononuclear complex 4 , the coordination geometry around the Hg2+ ion is distorted tetrahedral and comprises two chloride ligands and two N‐atom donors from the phpy2NS ligand, viz. one pyridine N atom and the other from triazole. In the crystal packing, all four compounds exhibit weak intermolecular interactions, which facilitate the formation of three‐dimensional architectures. Along with the noncovalent interactions, the structural diversity in the complexes can be attributed to the metal centre and to the coordination geometry, as well as to its ionic or neutral character.  相似文献

The synthesis of the reactive PN(CH) ligand 2‐di(tert‐butylphosphanomethyl)‐6‐phenylpyridine ( 1H ) and its versatile coordination to a RhI center is described. Facile C?H activation occurs in the presence of a (internal) base, thus resulting in the new cyclometalated complex [RhI(CO)(κ3P,N,C‐ 1 )] ( 3 ), which has been structurally characterized. The resulting tridentate ligand framework was experimentally and computationally shown to display dual‐site proton‐responsive reactivity, including reversible cyclometalation. This feature was probed by selective H/D exchange with [D1]formic acid. The addition of HBF4 to 3 leads to rapid net protonolysis of the Rh?C bond to produce [RhI(CO)(κ3P,N,(C?H)‐ 1 )] ( 4 ). This species features a rare aryl C?H agostic interaction in the solid state, as shown by X‐ray diffraction studies. The nature of this interaction was also studied computationally. Reaction of 3 with methyl iodide results in rapid and selective ortho‐methylation of the phenyl ring, thus generating [RhI(CO)(κ2P,N‐ 1Me )] ( 5 ). Variable‐temperature NMR spectroscopy indicates the involvement of a RhIII intermediate through formal oxidative addition to give trans‐[RhIII(CH3)(CO)(I)(κ3P,N,C‐ 1 )] prior to C?C reductive elimination. The RhIIItrans‐diiodide complex [RhI(CO)(I)23P,N,C‐ 1 )] ( 6 ) has been structurally characterized as a model compound for this elusive intermediate.  相似文献

1‐Methyl‐2‐[4‐phenyl‐6‐(pyridinium‐2‐yl)pyridin‐2‐yl]pyridinium diperchlorate, C22H19N32+·2ClO4, (I), and 2‐[4‐(methoxyphenyl)‐2,2′‐bipyridin‐6‐yl]‐1‐methylpyridinium iodide, C23H20N3O+·I, (II), both crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/c. In contrast with the monocharged molecule of (II), the doubly charged molecule of (I) contains an additional protonated pyridine ring. One of the two perchlorate counter‐anions of (I) interacts with the cation of (I) via an N—H⋯O hydrogen bond. In (II), two molecules related by a centre of symmetry are connected by weak π–π interactions, forming dimers in the crystal structure.  相似文献

In each of ethyl N‐{2‐amino‐5‐formyl‐6‐[methyl(phenyl)amino]pyrimidin‐4‐yl}glycinate, C16H19N5O3, (I), N‐{2‐amino‐5‐formyl‐6‐[methyl(phenyl)amino]pyrimidin‐4‐yl}glycinamide, C14H16N6O2, (II), and ethyl 3‐amino‐N‐{2‐amino‐5‐formyl‐6‐[methyl(phenyl)amino]pyrimidin‐4‐yl}propionate, C17H21N5O3, (III), the pyrimidine ring is effectively planar, but in each of methyl N‐{2‐amino‐6‐[benzyl(methyl)amino]‐5‐formylpyrimidin‐4‐yl}glycinate, C16H19N5O3, (IV), ethyl 3‐amino‐N‐{2‐amino‐6‐[benzyl(methyl)amino]‐5‐formylpyrimidin‐4‐yl}propionate, C18H23N5O3, (V), and ethyl 3‐amino‐N‐[2‐amino‐5‐formyl‐6‐(piperidin‐4‐yl)pyrimidin‐4‐yl]propionate, C15H23N5O3, (VI), the pyrimidine ring is folded into a boat conformation. The bond lengths in each of (I)–(VI) provide evidence for significant polarization of the electronic structure. The molecules of (I) are linked by paired N—H...N hydrogen bonds to form isolated dimeric aggregates, and those of (III) are linked by a combination of N—H...N and N—H...O hydrogen bonds into a chain of edge‐fused rings. In the structure of (IV), molecules are linked into sheets by means of two hydrogen bonds, both of N—H...O type, in the structure of (V) by three hydrogen bonds, two of N—H...N type and one of C—H...O type, and in the structure of (VI) by four hydrogen bonds, all of N—H...O type. Molecules of (II) are linked into a three‐dimensional framework structure by a combination of three N—H...O hydrogen bonds and one C—H...O hydrogen bond.  相似文献

The title compounds, N‐[5‐(4‐chlorophenyl)furan‐2‐ylmethyl]‐4‐methyl‐N‐(prop‐2‐ynyl)benzenesulfonamide, (Ia), and N‐[5‐(2‐chlorophenyl)furan‐2‐ylmethyl]‐4‐methyl‐N‐(prop‐2‐ynyl)benzenesulfonamide, (Ib), both C21H18ClNO3S, have isomorphous crystal structures. The crystal packing is mainly determined by intermolecular C—H?O and C—H?π interactions. These interactions are very similar in (Ia) and (Ib). Additional intermolecular C—H?Cl interactions appear less important and are different in (Ia) and (Ib). The different positions of the Cl atoms result in small variations of the crystal packing of the two compounds.  相似文献

The room‐temperature crystal structures of four new thio derivatives of N‐methylphenobarbital [systematic name: 5‐ethyl‐1‐methyl‐5‐phenylpyrimidine‐2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)‐trione], C13H14N2O3, are compared with the structure of the parent compound. The sulfur substituents in N‐methyl‐2‐thiophenobarbital [5‐ethyl‐1‐methyl‐5‐phenyl‐2‐thioxo‐1,2‐dihydropyrimidine‐4,6(3H,5H)‐dione], C13H14N2O2S, N‐methyl‐4‐thiophenobarbital [5‐ethyl‐1‐methyl‐5‐phenyl‐4‐thioxo‐3,4‐dihydropyrimidine‐2,6(1H,5H)‐dione], C13H14N2O2S, and N‐methyl‐2,4,6‐trithiophenobarbital [5‐ethyl‐1‐methyl‐5‐phenylpyrimidine‐2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)‐trithione], C13H14N2S3, preserve the heterocyclic ring puckering observed for N‐methylphenobarbital (a half‐chair conformation), whereas in N‐methyl‐2,4‐dithiophenobarbital [5‐ethyl‐1‐methyl‐5‐phenyl‐2,4‐dithioxo‐1,2,3,4‐tetrahydropyrimidine‐6(5H)‐one], C13H14N2OS2, significant flattening of the ring was detected. The number and positions of the sulfur substituents influence the packing and hydrogen‐bonding patterns of the derivatives. In the cases of the 2‐thio, 4‐thio and 2,4,6‐trithio derivatives, there is a preference for the formation of a ring motif of the R22(8) type, which is also a characteristic of N‐methylphenobarbital, whereas a C(6) chain forms in the 2,4‐dithio derivative. The preferences for hydrogen‐bond formation, which follow the sequence of acceptor position 4 > 2 > 6, confirm the differences in the nucleophilic properties of the C atoms of the heterocyclic ring and are consistent with the course of N‐methylphenobarbital thionation reactions.  相似文献

Rh‐containing metallacycles, [(TPA)RhIII2‐(C,N)‐CH2CH2(NR)2‐]Cl; TPA=N,N,N,N‐tris(2‐pyridylmethyl)amine have been accessed through treatment of the RhI ethylene complex, [(TPA)Rh(η2CH2CH2)]Cl ([ 1 ]Cl) with substituted diazenes. We show this methodology to be tolerant of electron‐deficient azo compounds including azo diesters (RCO2N?NCO2R; R=Et [ 3 ]Cl, R=iPr [ 4 ]Cl, R=tBu [ 5 ]Cl, and R=Bn [ 6 ]Cl) and a cyclic azo diamide: 4‐phenyl‐1,2,4‐triazole‐3,5‐dione (PTAD), [ 7 ]Cl. The latter complex features two ortho‐fused ring systems and constitutes the first 3‐rhoda‐1,2‐diazabicyclo[3.3.0]octane. Preliminary evidence suggests that these complexes result from N–N coordination followed by insertion of ethylene into a [Rh]?N bond. In terms of reactivity, [ 3 ]Cl and [ 4 ]Cl successfully undergo ring‐opening using p‐toluenesulfonic acid, affording the Rh chlorides, [(TPA)RhIII(Cl)(κ1‐(C)‐CH2CH2(NCO2R)(NHCO2R)]OTs; [ 13 ]OTs and [ 14 ]OTs. Deprotection of [ 5 ]Cl using trifluoroacetic acid was also found to give an ethyl substituted, end‐on coordinated diazene [(TPA)RhIII2‐(C,N)‐CH2CH2(NH)2‐]+ [ 16 ]Cl, a hitherto unreported motif. Treatment of [ 16 ]Cl with acetyl chloride resulted in the bisacetylated adduct [(TPA)RhIII2‐(C,N)‐CH2CH2(NAc)2‐]+, [ 17 ]Cl. Treatment of [ 1 ]Cl with AcN?NAc did not give the Rh?N insertion product, but instead the N,O‐chelated complex [(TPA)RhI ( κ2‐(O,N)‐CH3(CO)(NH)(N?C(CH3)(OCH?CH2))]Cl [ 23 ]Cl, presumably through insertion of ethylene into a [Rh]?O bond.  相似文献
