 对引导磁场大小对相对论返波管(RBWO)微波功率的影响进行了理论和实验研究。首先利用KARAT软件对RBWO进行了全电磁PIC数值模拟,发现当磁场降低时,TE模与TM01模的竞争导致微波功率降低,同时模拟中观察到“电子回旋共振吸收”现象,它是由于电子束与慢波结构中TM01模的基波相互作用的结果;然后进行了实验研究,实验结果与数值模拟基本相符。  相似文献

We propose a method for increasing the peak power of a superradiance pulse by varying the electron energy along an electron bunch. A one-dimensional time-dependent model describing the evolution of an electromagnetic pulse as well as direct numerical simulations based on the KARAT code show that the power of generated pulses becomes several times greater if the particle energy increases linearly along the bunch. A similar method can be applied to increase the peak power in the case of amplification of a short electromagnetic pulse (and a superradiance pulse generated by an external source) propagated along a quasi-continuous electron beam with a certain particle-energy profile.  相似文献

The comb-like filter characteristic of a Fabry-Perot etalon in frequency domain was deployed to filter out the discrete spectral lines of injected 10GHz optical pulse train. By changing the free spectral range and obtaining the spectral components spaced to 4 and 6 times of the repetition rate, the pulse trains with 40 GHz and 60 GHz were successfully obtained.  相似文献

Two different concepts of gradient current power supplies are introduced, which are suitable for the generation of ultra-high intensity pulsed magnetic field gradients of alternating polarity. The first system consists of a directly binary coded current source (DBCCS). It yields current pulses of up to ±120 A and a maximum voltage across the gradient coil of ±400 V. The second system consists of two TECHRON 8606 power supplies in push–pull configuration (PSPPC). It yields current pulses of up to ±100 A and a maximum voltage across the gradient coil of ±300 V. In combination with actively shielded anti-Helmholtz gradient coils, both systems are used routinely in NMR diffusion studies with unipolar pulsed field gradients of up to 35 T/m. Until now, alternating pulsed field gradient experiments were successfully performed with gradient intensities of up to ±25 T/m (DBCCS) and ±35 T/m (PSPPC), respectively. Based on the observation of the NMR spin echo in the presence of a small read gradient, procedures to test the stability and the matching of such ultra-high pulsed field gradient intensities as well as an automated routine for the compensation of possible mismatches are introduced. The results of these procedures are reported for the PSPPC system.  相似文献

We study self-modulation and chaotic regimes of generation in a relativistic backward-wave oscillator in the presence of reflections of radiation from the boundaries of a slow-wave structure. The onset of self-modulation is examined in detail in the cases of weak and strong reflections. A numerical simulation of transition-to-chaos scenarios is performed over a wide range of parameters. The relation of bifurcation transitions between different regimes to the formation of spatio-temporal structures in the electron beam is discussed.  相似文献

The decrease in the transient time in a relativistic microwave traveling wave oscillator, in which the interaction is carried out between the relativistic electron beam and the fundamental harmonic of the forward-traveling electromagnetic wave slowed down to the speed of light in the hollow slow wave system system, has been numerically and experimentally demonstrated. It is shown that in this mode a high beam-to-wave coupling impedance up to ≈10 Ω is achieved, which ensures reduction of the transient time. In the experiment, a microwave peak power of 210 ± 30 MW at a frequency of 2.45 GHz in a guiding magnetic field of 0.16 T was obtained. The efficiency of the oscillator to convert the power of the electron beam into microwave power was 17 ± 3%. At the beam current pulse duration of about 50 ns the microwave pulse duration was about 20 ns and the transient time was about 22 ns.

提出了一种利用单光源光电振荡器(OEO)结构实现多波长光脉冲输出的方案.通过一个直调光源和光谱切片技术在OEO腔内可以产生不同中心波长的光脉冲和电时钟信号.腔内多个波跃通道自然形成的多环路结构可以有效地抑制信号边模.在5 GHz频率的实验演示中,该系统产生了脉宽约10 ps,抖动1 ps的单波长脉冲、20 GHz(4×5 GHz)的时分复用脉冲与波/时分复用脉冲.所得到电时钟信号的相位噪声在频偏10 kHz处为-113 dBc/Hz,边模抑制比为100 dBc/HZ.  相似文献

Scattering of an attosecond electromagnetic field pulse by atomic and molecular anions is considered in the sudden perturbation approximation. In the interaction with anions, the effect of the magnetic field of the incident pulse is considered. The inclusion of the magnetic component of the ultrashort pulse leads to new results in the scattering spectra for atomic and molecular anions. Analytic dependences of the partial spectrum on frequency are obtained. It is shown that during scattering, the second harmonic is generated, which makes it possible to determine the type of anions and the spatial orientation of molecular anions.  相似文献

We present the results of a study of single-channel and two-channel compressors of microwave pulses, operated at a frequency of 11.4 GHz, in which a high-Q factor storing resonator and a novel plasma switch are used. In the single-channel compressor excited by magnicon radiation at a frequency of 11.4 GHz, 24-MW pulses have been obtained for a compression ratio equal to 8. In the two-channel compressor, coherent composition of pulses with the use of a 3-dB directional coupler has been demonstrated. Compressed pulses with powers of 9 to 11 MW and durations of 50 to 60 ns have been obtained at the incident-power level 1–1.5 MW, which corresponded to the compression ratio k = 8–9.3.  相似文献

Meanwhile, the exact classical solution as well as the classical phase is obtained too. To understand the interaction in dipolar systems, it is necessary to investigate the structures formed by the interacting particles. We introduce a polymer acrylic resin carrier to fix the structures in the magnetic fluid (Fe3O4). An aligned structure is investigated, which is formed under a magnetic field, and fixed in the cured acrylic resin film by evaporating the solvent at room temperature. The aligned structure is confirmed with the help of optical microscopy and optical diffraction for the cured film. Furthermore, we find substructures by using a scanning electronic microscope. Based on the curable and observable structures, a platform can be developed for investigating the aligned structures and configurations dominant by dipolar interaction. This is also helpful for the development of magnetic devices with orderly aligned structures.  相似文献

A compact femtosecond Ti:sapphire ring oscillator composed of chirped mirrors is designed. By accurately optimizing the intra-cavity dispersion and the mode locking range of the ring configuration, we generate laser pulses as short as 7.7fs with a repetition rate as high as 745 MHz. The spectrum spans from 660nm to 94Ohm and the average output power is 480mW under the cw pump laser of 7.5 W.  相似文献
