A number of thioesters of thienylacrylic acid were obtained by the condensation of 2-formylthiophene and 5-bromo-2-formylthiophene with acetylenic thioethers in the presence of boron trifluoride etherate. The reaction of the condensation products with hydrazine hydrate is accompanied by intramolecular cyclization to form the corresponding pyrazolines. The solid complexes of MnII, FeIII, CoII, NiII and CuII with 3-(3-furan-2yl-acryloyl)-6-methyl-pyran-2,4-dione(L1) and 3-(3-thiophene-2yl-acryloyl)-6-methyl-pyran-2,4-dione (L2) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, conductometry, thermal analysis, magnetic, i.r., P-n.m.r.,
u.v.–vis, X-ray diffraction and antimicrobial study. From the analytical and spectral data, the stoichiometry of the complexes
has been found to be 1:2 (metal:ligand). I.r. spectral data suggest that the ligand behaves as a dibasic bidentate ligand
with O:O donor sequence towards metal ions. The physico-chemical data suggests distorted octahedral geometry for CuII complexes and octahedral geometry for all other complexes. The X-ray diffraction suggests an Orthorhombic crystal system
for the CuII complex and Monoclinic crystal system for CoII and NiII complexes of ligand L1. The ligands and their metal complexes were screened for antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, and the fungicidal activity against Aspergillus flavus, Curvularia lunata and Penicillium notatum. 相似文献

Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes of barbital, thiouracil, adenine, amino acids (methionine, lysine and alanine) and some mixed ligands were prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, electronic spectra, magnetic susceptibility and ESR spectra. Coordination of the metallic centre to the oxygen and nitrogen atoms of barbital, thiouracil, amino acids and coordinate to amino group and nitrogen atom of adenine occurred. Electronic spectra and magnetic susceptibility measurements were utilized to infer the structure of the complexes which are octahedral for Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cd(II) and tetrahedral for Mn(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) complexes. ESR spectra were observed for copper complexes with a d(x2)-(y2) ground state with small g(||) values indicating strong interaction between the ligands and their metal ions. 相似文献

The one-pot transesterification of diethylarylvinylphosphonates with N-acetylcysteamine has been achieved using phosphonochloridates as intermediates. Compounds having general formula: [M(FO)(Cl)(x)(H(2)O)(y)].zH(2)O, where (M=Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II), FO=folate anion, x=2 or 4, y=2 or 4 and z=0, 1, 2, 3, 5 or 15) were prepared. The obtained compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, infrared as well as electronic spectra, thermogravimetric analysis and the conductivity measurements. The results suggested that all folate complexes were formed by 2:1 molar ratio (metal:folic acid) as a bidentate through both of the two carboxylic groups. The molar conductance measurements proved that the folate complexes are electrolytes. The kinetic thermodynamic parameters such as: E*, DeltaH*, DeltaS* and DeltaG* were estimated from the DTG curves. The antibacterial evaluation of the folic acid and their complexes was also done against some Gram positive/negative bacteria as well as fungi. 相似文献

Synthesis,characterization, and antibacterial activities of some rare Earth metal complexes of pipemidic acid 总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
Eight new solid complexes of pipemidic acid (PPA) with trichlorizated rare earth metals LaCl(3), CeCl(3), PrCl(3), NdCl(3), SmCl(3), TbCl(3), DyCl(3), and YCl(3) have been synthesized. The complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, IR, NMR, and molar conductance measurements. The general formulas of the complexes are [M(PPA)(4)]Cl(3) (M=Ce(III), Pr(III), Nd(III), Sm(III), Tb(III), Dy(III), Y(III)), and [La(PPA)(4)Cl]Cl(2). At the same time, the antibacterial activities of PPA and four of its complexes were tested. The results show that PPA and its complexes all have inhibitory action against bacteria of Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa but not Staphylococcus aureus. We compared their antibacterial activities and found that the antibacterial activity of [La(PPA)(4)Cl]Cl(2) against S. pneumoniae is much stronger than that of PPA and the other complexes. 相似文献
