We have measured the energy of the directed motion of multiply charged ions produced when solid targets are exposed to low-contrast (10?3–10?2) femtosecond laser pulses with intensities 1015–1016 W cm?2. The measurements are based on the recording of spatially resolved X-ray spectra for H-and He-like oxygen ions in the target plane. Analysis of the Heβ and Lyα line profiles has revealed fractions of accelerated ions in plasma with energies from several to several tens of kiloelectronvolts. We show that using a layer of frozen nanometer-size water droplets as the targets leads to an effective absorption of laser pulses and a twofold rise in the energy (to 0.1 MeV) of He-like oxygen ions compared to the use of solid targets.  相似文献

The investigation of a recombining laser plasma is topical primarily because it can be used to simulate the interaction between plasma jets in astrophysical objects. It has been shown that the relative intensities of transitions of a resonance series of He-like multicharged ions can be used for the diagnostics of the recombining plasma. It has been found that the intensities of the indicated transitions for ions with the nuclear charge number Z n ~ 10 are sensitive to the plasma density in the range N e ~ 1016–1020 cm–3 at temperatures of 10–100 eV. The calculations performed for the F VIII ion have determined the parameters of plasma jets created at the ELFIE nanosecond laser facility (Ecole Polytechnique, France) in order to simulate astrophysical phenomena. The resulting universal calculation dependences can be used to diagnose different recombining plasmas containing helium-like fluorine ions.  相似文献

High-spin states in the 96Tc nucleus have been studied with the reactions 82Se(19F,5nγ) at 68 MeV and Zn(36S,αpxn) at 130 MeV. High-resolution soft X-ray spectra of H-like and He-like ions were produced from laser irradiated silicon and aluminum targets. Plasma size was about 100 μm. X-ray spectra were analyzed to determine plasma parameters. We compared the line shape of resonance transitions and their intensity ratios to corresponding dielectronic satellites and the intensities of the inter combination lines of He-like ions, with the results of model calculations. Such comparison gave average values of the electron density N e=(1?1.9)×1021 cm?3 and the electron temperature T e=460–560 eV for Si plasmas and about 560 eV for Al plasmas produced by the first and the second laser harmonics. According to our estimations, more than 1012 photons were produced within the resonance line spectral width and in the solid angle 2π steredian during the total decay period.  相似文献

X-ray spectra from nitrogen clusters irradiated with ultrashort laser pulses are reported. The line spectra of H-like and He-like nitrogen ions have been observed by irradiation with 100 fs, 800 nm pulses at 7×1017 W/cm2 irradiance. The generation of highly charged ions of N6+ and N7+ is explained by the optical field-induced ionization and the subsequent collisional ionizations in the clusters. The He-δline has anomalously high brightness compared to other He-like lines. It is ascribed to charge exchange, which preferentially populates the n=5 level of N5+. High-spin states in 183Os have been studied by means of in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy. Two isomers with I π= ((43/2)) and (43/2)+ have been identified at excitation energies of E x = 5.068 and 5.168 MeV. The half-lives are determined as T 1/2= 27 ± 3 and 24 ± 2 ns. Received: 22 December 1997  相似文献

X-ray emission spectra of the plasma created at the surface of magnesium, aluminum, copper, and zinc targets heated by 1-ps laser pulses with a peak power density of up to 1016 W/cm2 were measured. The effect of a picosecond prepulse on the spectra was studied for various power densities and intensity contrasts of the main laser pulse. It is established that the emission spectra of laser plasmas are weakly affected by a change from 105 to 107 in the main pulse contrast relative to the first prepulse. Variations in the parameters of emission from aluminum and magnesium plasmas were calculated using relative intensities and widths of the resonance lines of H-and He-like ions and their two-electron satellite peaks.  相似文献

An experimental study on the production of NOx as a function of dissipated energy in laser-produced plasma in air is presented. A plasma was produced by focusing a (60–180) mJ, 5 ns, 532 nm pulse from a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. The results show that for laser energy in the range of 13–99 mJ the laser plasma generates 6.7×1016 NOx molecules per joule and 4.6×1016 NO molecules per joule. An order of magnitude estimate of the NO and NOx production per unit volume of heated gas based on a simple model show that the NOx and NO production efficiency in air are about 3×1022 and 2×1022 molecules J−1 m−3.  相似文献

X-ray spectroscopic diagnostics of laser-cluster interaction at the stage of nonadiabatic scattering of clusters and formation of a spatially uniform plasma channel has been performed. The experimental investigations have been carried out on a Ti:Sa laser setup with a pulse duration of about 65 fs and an energy up to 600 mJ. It has been shown that, within 10 ps from the beginning of a laser femtosecond pulse, the laser-cluster interaction forms a uniform plasma channel with a length of 0.4 to 1 mm with the parameters N e ~ 1019?1020 cm?3 and T e ~ 100 eV.  相似文献

Extremely high values of the relative permittivity up to 107 and the magnetocapacitance up to 105% have been found in La1 − x Sr x MnO3 single crystals (x = 0.1, 0.11). These phenomena are observed even at room temperature. The observed behavior can be a consequence of the strong interaction among charge, spin, and lattice degrees of freedom, which leads to charge and phase separation in the regime before the percolation threshold.  相似文献

The XUV spectra emitted by plasma produced by focusing a ruby laser on plane targets of carbon and beryllium have been observed with a novel stigmatic spectrograph fitted with a toroidal mirror. The observations have been made both side-on on the expanding plasma and end-on looking inside the crater. In the latter case the intensity emitted is very large and the lines broadened indication electron densities approacing the critical density at 2.2×1021 cm-3. The relative intensity of resonance lines, free-bound and free-free continua and He-like and Li-like satellites has been determined. In particular the latter satellites appear to arise only from the region inside the crater.  相似文献

High-spin level schemes of the N = 80 isotones 146Dy, 147Ho and 148Er have been investigated by in-beam γ-ray spectroscopic methods using the NORDBALL Compton-suppressed multidetector array including proton and neutron selection. The projectile-target system 58Ni + 92Mo at 260 MeV beam energy has been used to produce the neutron-deficient N = 80 isotones. The previously known schemes have been extended to considerably higher spin and exitation energy, up to I = 23?, E x≈ 8.9 MeV in 146Dy, I = 53/2?, E x≈ 8.7 MeV in 147Ho and I = 23?, E x≈ 9.6 MeV in 148Er. 利用脉冲激光沉积技术,通过改变沉积过程中的氧气压力,在蓝宝石(0001)基片上制备了一系列ZnMgO合金.通过X射线衍射、反射和透射光谱以及室温和变温荧光光谱,对薄膜的结构和光学性能进行了系统地表征,分析了工作气压对ZnMgO合金薄膜的结晶质量及光学特性的影响.研究结果表明:随着沉积环境中氧气压力的增大,ZnMgO薄膜的结晶质量下降,富氧环境下,与蓝宝石晶格平行的ZnO晶粒的出现是导致薄膜结晶质量下降的主要原因;相对于本征ZnO,不同氧气环境下沉积的ZnMgO薄膜的紫外荧光峰均出现了不同程度的蓝移.随着工 关键词: ZnO Mg掺杂 脉冲激光沉积 薄膜生长 光学特性  相似文献

Yrast and near-yrast states have been investigated in 210Rn to high spin (J > 30) and high energy (Ex > 10 MeV). Three different (HI, xn) reactions were used to populate the states of interest and several different γ-ray spectroscopic techniques were utilized. Three high-spin yrast traps were discovered. Two de-excite by strong E3 transitions while the third decays mainly via an extremely inhibited E2 transition. The E3 decays are interpreted as allowed single-particle transitions between proton or neutron states above the 208Pb shell closure while the inhibited E2 transition is interpreted as indicating a substantial change in structure as the decay proceeds down the yrast line. The interpretation has been given in terms of shell-model calculations.  相似文献

对一种低温易烧结的Yb:Y2-2xLa2xO3激光透明陶瓷的光谱性能进行了初步研究,Yb:Y2-2xLa2xO3激光透明陶瓷具有宽的吸收带和大的吸收截面,在最强的吸收峰977nm处吸收截面达4.0×10-20cm2;其荧光发射寿命为1.1ms,发射截面在1033nm处为1.0×10-20cm2,在1077nm处为0.7×10-20cm2.Yb:Y2-2xLa2xO3陶瓷的各项光学性能指标接近或达到单晶的指标. 关键词: 氧化镧钇 激光陶瓷 低温烧结 光谱性能  相似文献

Collisional-radiative models of He-like ions C V, Mg XI, Si XIII, and Fe XXV (n = 1, 2, 3) are constructed for the case of ionizing plasma. The line intensity ratios which are of interest from the viewpoint of plasma diagnostics are calculated. The dependence of widely used ratios R and G on the number of considered levels is studied. Approximation formulas are proposed for R and G. It is shown that the consideration of collisions with protons is inessential in most cases. New lines for diagnostics are proposed. For the considered intensity ratios, regions of sensitivity to the plasma density and temperature are determined.  相似文献
