We prove that if U is a balanced Hb (U)-domain of holomorphy in Tsirelson's space then the spectrum of Hb (U) is identified with U. We derive theorems of Banach Stone type for algebras of holomorphic functions and algebras of holomorphic germs.  相似文献

Let E be a 𝒟ℱ𝒩‐space and let U ⊂ E be open. By applying the nuclearity of the Fréchet space ℋ︁(U) of holomorphic functions on U we show that there are finite measures μ on U leading to Bergman spaces of μ ‐square integrable holomorphic functions. We give an explicit construction for μ by using infinite dimensional Gaussian measures. Moreover, we prove boundary estimates for the corresponding Bergman kernels Kμ on the diagonal and we give an application of our results to liftings of μ ‐square integrable Banach space valued holomorphic functions over U. Given a holomorphic mapping of bounded type gHb(U, F), where U ? E is a balanced open subset, and E, F are complex Banach spaces, let A : Hb(F) ∈ Hb(U) be the homomorphism defined by A(f) = fog for all fHb(F). We prove that: (a) for F having the Dunford-Pettis property, A is weakly compact if and only if g is weakly compact; (b) A is completely continuous if and only if g(W) is a Dunford-Pettis set for every U-bounded subset W ? U. To obtain these results, we prove that the class of Dunford - Pettis sets is stable under projecti ve tensor products. Moreover, we diaracterize the reflexivity of the space Hb(U,F) and prove that E' and F have the Schur property if and only if Hb(U, F) has the Schur property. As an application, we obtain some results on linearization of holomorphic mappings.  相似文献

It is known (G. Choquet, G. Mokobodzki) that a Baire-one affine function on a compact convex set satisfies the barycentric formula and can be expressed as a pointwise limit of a sequence of continuous affine functions. Moreover, the space of Baire-one affine functions is uniformly closed. The aim of this paper is to discuss to what extent analogous properties are true in the context of general function spaces. In particular, we investigate the function spaceH(U), consisting of the functions continuous on the closure of a bounded open setU⊂ℝ m and harmonic onU, which has been extensively studied in potential theory. We demonstrate that the barycentric formula does not hold for the spaceB 1 b (H(U)) of bounded functions which are pointwise limits of functions from the spaceH(U) and thatB 1 b (H(U)) is not uniformly closed. On the other hand, every Baire-oneH(U)-affine function (in particular a solution of the generalized Dirichlet problem for continuous boundary data) is a pointwise limit of a bounded sequence of functions belonging toH(U). It turns out that such a situation always occurs for simplicial spaces whereas it is not the case for general function spaces. The paper provides several characterizations of those Baire-one functions which can be approximated pointwise by bounded sequences of elements of a given function space. For an open subset U of a locally convex space E, let (H(U),τ0) denote the vector space of all holomorphic functions on U, with the compact-open topology. If E is a separable Fréchet space with the bounded approximation property, or if E is a (DFC)-space with the approximation property, we show that (H(U),τ0) has the approximation property for every open subset U of E. These theorems extend classical results of Aron and Schottenloher. As applications of these approximation theorems we characterize the spectra of certain topological algebras of holomorphic mappings with values in a Banach algebra.  相似文献

For U a balanced open subset of a Fréchet space E and F a dual-Banach space we introduce the topology on the space of holomorphic functions from U into F. This topology allows us to construct a predual for which in turn allows us to investigate the topological structure of spaces of vector-valued holomorphic functions. In particular, we are able to give necessary and sufficient conditions for the equivalence and compatibility of various topologies on spaces of vector-valued holomorphic functions.  相似文献

Let U and V be convex and balanced open subsets of the Banach spaces X and Y, respectively. In this paper we study the following question: given two Fréchet algebras of holomorphic functions of bounded type on U and V, respectively, that are algebra isomorphic, can we deduce that X and Y (or X* and Y*) are isomorphic? We prove that if X* or Y* has the approximation property and Hwu(U) and Hwu(V) are topologically algebra isomorphic, then X* and Y* are isomorphic (the converse being true when U and V are the whole space). We get analogous results for Hb(U) and Hb(V), giving conditions under which an algebra isomorphism between Hb(X) and Hb(Y) is equivalent to an isomorphism between X* and Y*. We also obtain characterizations of different algebra homomorphisms as composition operators, study the structure of the spectrum of the algebras under consideration and show the existence of homomorphisms on Hb(X) with pathological behaviors.  相似文献

Nuclear convergence spaces are studied. It is shown that an Le-embedded convergence vector space E is LeLM-embedded if it is Schwartz and satisfies a certain countability condition which expresses that the set of filters converging to zero is essentially countable. Further it is shown that if E is LeLM-embedded and nuclear, then the identity EE can be approximated with finite operators in the equable continuous convergence structure on L(E, E). This result is used in the study of the spectrum HomcHe(U) of the convergence algebra He(U) of holomorphic functions on a circled convex open set to prove sufficient conditions for the validity of the formula HomcHe(U) ~ U.  相似文献

Given a space (U) of functions f:U which are continuous, we construct another space *(U) and a map e:U *(U) linearizing all functions f (U) (i.e. there are Lf *(U) such that Lf^e=f). Such linearizations are stronger than mere preduals for (U), for example for (U)=1, linearizations correspond to preduals of 1 which are isomorphic to c0. We also address the vector-valued case. A number of such linearizing constructions are to be found in the literarture, mostly for certain spaces of holomorphic functions. Let A be a brace algebra. This structure implies that A is also a pre-Lie algebra. In this paper, we establish Composition-Diamond lemma for brace algebras. For each pre-Lie algebra L, we find a Gröbner–Shirshov basis for its universal brace algebra Ub(L). As applications, we determine an explicit linear basis for Ub(L) and prove that L is a pre-Lie subalgebra of Ub(L).  相似文献
