Aberration-corrected transmission electron microscopy was used to study atomic-scale processes in Pd-LaFeO(3) catalysts. Clear evidence for diffusion of Pd into LaFeO(3) and out of LaFe(0.95)Pd(0.05)O(3-δ) under high-temperature oxidizing and reducing conditions, respectively, was found, but the extent to which these processes occurred was quite limited. These observations cast doubt that such phenomena play a significant role in a postulated mechanism of self-regeneration of this system as an automotive exhaust-gas catalyst.  相似文献

Selective production of hydrogen by oxidative steam reforming of methanol (OSRM) was studied over Cu/SiO2 catalyst using fixed bed flow reactor. Textural and structural properties of the catalyst were analyzed by various instrumental methods. TPR analysis illustrates that the reduction temperature peak was observed between 510?K and 532?K at various copper loadings and calcination temperatures and the peaks shifted to higher temperature with increasing copper loading and calcination temperature. The XRD and XPS analysis demonstrates that the copper existed in different oxidation states at different conditions: Cu2O, Cu0, CuO and Cu(OH)2 in uncalcined sample; CuO in calcined sample: Cu2O and metallic Cu after reduction at 600?K and Cu0 and CuO after catalytic test. TEM analysis reveals that at various copper loadings, the copper particle size is in the range between 3.0?nm and 3.8?nm. The Cu particle size after catalytic test increased from 3.6 to 4.8?nm, which is due to the formation of oxides of copper as evidenced from XRD and XPS analysis. The catalytic performance at various Cu loadings shows that with increasing Cu loading from 4.7 to 17.3?wt%, the activity increases and thereafter it decreases. Effect of calcination shows that the sample calcined at 673?K exhibited high activity. The O2/CH3OH and H2O/CH3OH molar ratios play important role in reaction rate and product distribution. The optimum molar ratios of O2/CH3OH and H2O/CH3OH are 0.25 and 0.1, respectively. When the reaction temperature varied from 473 to 548?K, the methanol conversion and H2 production rate are in the range of 21.9–97.5% and 1.2–300.9?mmol?kg?1?s?1, respectively. The CO selectivity is negligible at these temperatures. Under the optimum conditions (17.3?wt%, Cu/SiO2; calcination temperature 673?K; 0.25 O2/CH3OH molar ratio, 0.5 H2O/CH3OH molar ratio and reaction temperature 548?K), the maximum hydrogen yield obtained was 2.45?mol of hydrogen per mole of methanol. The time on stream stability test showed that the Cu/SiO2 catalyst is quite stable for 48?h.  相似文献

采用浸渍法制备了一系列Ni-Fe/蒙脱土(MMT)催化剂,并应用于乙醇水蒸气重整制氢反应(ESR)。采用X射线衍射(XRD)、N_2吸附脱附分析和H_2-程序升温还原(H_2-TPR)表征手段对催化剂的物理化学性质、还原性能、碳沉积等进行了研究。结果表明,Ni-Fe/MMT催化剂中,Ni、Fe高度分散在载体MMT层间及表面,而且Fe的加入降低了Ni颗粒的粒径,增强了Ni~(2+)与载体的相互作用力。以10Ni5Fe/MMT为催化剂,在反应温度为500℃、水醇比为3∶1、空速为12 h~(-1),反应进行30 h后,乙醇转化率为100%,氢气选择性仍保持72%,副产物CO和CH_4含量明显降低。这是因为催化助剂Fe的引入,一方面,提高了Ni的分散度,使得ESR低温活性较好;另一方面,减小了Ni颗粒粒径,小颗粒的Ni有利于抑制甲烷的生成,并且Fe的加入加强了甲烷重整和水煤气变换反应,提高产物中氢气的选择性。  相似文献

采用等体积浸渍法制备了Al2O3、CeO2、TiO2及MgO负载Ni催化剂,考察了它们对甘油蒸汽重整制氢反应的催化性能。采用X射线衍射、N2吸附、透射电镜及H2程序升温还原等方法对催化剂进行了表征。结果表明,载体对Ni催化剂的活性有显著影响。在400 ℃下Ni/CeO2的催化活性明显好于其他催化剂,活性次序为Ni/CeO2> Ni/Al2O3 > Ni/TiO2 ~ Ni/MgO。Ni/CeO2也具有好的稳定性,反应20 h未见活性下降,甘油转化率70%,氢气收率69.2%。这与CeO2的本性及其与活性组分的相互作用有关。Al2O3具有较大的比表面积与孔体积,有利于CO吸附及甲烷化反应的进行,使得Ni/Al2O3催化剂在较高温度下具有很高的甘油转化率85.7%,但H2选择性较差。由于MgO载体与活性组分强的相互作用而生成NiMgO2固溶体,导致Ni/MgO低温活性差。  相似文献

Methane reforming by carbon dioxide has been studied over ultra-stable Ni catalysts. The catalyst was characterized by XRD, IR and TEM and temperature programmed hydrogenation. The nickel–magnesia solid solution catalyst containing low nickel has shown excellent stability (>3000 h) and no carbon deposition in the methane reforming by carbon dioxide. It was also found that the small nickel metal particle interaction with support surface is effective for the inhibition of carbon formation.  相似文献

采用浸渍法制备了不同Cr含量的Cr/Cu-Ce催化剂,通过N2O滴定、H2-TPR和XPS等表征,对其结构、性质和催化性能进行了探究。结果表明,Cr助剂会改变Cu-Ce催化剂的铜比表面积、CuO还原温度以及氧空穴含量。其中,添加3%Cr的催化剂的Cu比表面积较大,CuO还原温度较低,氧空穴较多,进而表现出优良的催化性能。当反应温度为533 K,n(水)∶n(甲醇)=1.2∶1,甲醇和水的进料量为0.072 mL/min时,其催化效率达100%,重整气体组分中的CO体积分数为0.15%。与未掺杂Cr助剂的催化剂相比,其催化效率提高了10%,重整气体组分中的CO体积分数降低了0.34%。  相似文献

Olivine is abundant in the Earth’s upper mantle; it has applications in catalysts to enhance their stability in structures. The olivine-type catalysts were prepared by co-precipitation and hydrothermal synthesis and tested in the auto-thermal reforming (ATR) of acetic acid (AC), a model compound from bio-oil, for hydrogen production. In the meantime, the natural olivine impregnated with Ni was also tested. Characterisations of XRD, nitrogen physisorption, temperature-programmed reduction, and SEM-EDX were used to find the structure-reactivity relationship. The results indicate that the natural olivine produced a low H2 yield close to 0.17 mole of H2 per 1 mole of AC, while the olivine impregnated with Ni produced a H2 yield of from 2.19 mole to 2.73 mole of H2 per mole of AC. The olivine catalyst prepared by hydrothermal synthesis performed better in both activity and stability: the H2 yield achieved 3.06 mole of H2 per mole of AC and remained stable, which could be attributed to the higher surface area and stability with Ni inserted in the skeleton of olivine.  相似文献

The new multicomponent Co-based catalysts with additives of group 8 metal and rare earth elements and supported on alumina have been tested in the dry and steam conversion of a model biogas. The processes were carried out in a flow quartz reactor under the following conditions: atmospheric pressure, a gas hourly space velocity of 1000 h?1 and temperatures of 300–800°C. The catalysts were characterised using electron microscopy, BET and X-ray analysis. The methane is almost completely converted in the dry reforming of biogas at T≤800°C. Synthesis gas with a ratio of H2/CO>1.0 is a main product of biogas reforming over the multicomponent catalysts studied. Adding steam in a feed composition increases both the methane conversion and the hydrogen yield at lower temperatures. Almost complete methane conversion occurs at T<750°C in the steam reforming of biogas. The catalysts are highly effective and exhibit stable activity throughout 100 h of continuous testing.   相似文献

Several mesoporous silicas with different morphologies were controllably prepared by sol-gel method with adjustable ratio of dual template,and they were further impregnated with aqueous solution of nickel nitrate,followed by calcination in air.The synthesized silica supports and supported nickel samples were characterized using N_2-adsorption/desorption,X-ray diffraction(XRD),H_2 temperature-programmed reduction(H_2-TPR),Scanning electron microscope(SEM),Transmission electron microscope(TEM) and thermo-gravimetric analysis(TGA-DTG) techniques.The Ni nanoparticles supported on shell-like silica are highly dispersed and yielded much narrower nickel particle-size than those on other mesoporous silica.The methane reforming with dioxide carbon reaction results showed that Ni nanoparticles supported on shell-like silica carrier exhibited the better catalytic performance and catalytic stability than those of nickel catalyst supported on other silica carrier.The thermo-gravimetric analysis on used nickel catalysts uncovered that catalyst deactivation depends on the type and nature of the coke deposited.The heterogeneous nature of the deposited coke was observed on nickel nanoparticles supported on spherical and peanut-like silica.Much narrower and lower TGA derivative peak was founded on Ni catalyst supported on the shell-like silica.  相似文献

The elemental analysis of Pt-Re/alumina catalysts was carried out by nondestructive and bulk neutron activation analysis. Samples were irradiated with a241Am-Be source-based as well as accelerator-based thermal neutrons and induced activities were measured by a HPGe detector with a PC-based data acquisition and analysis system. An appropriate calibration technique was established for the determination of the respective ratios of each element present in the catalysts. The technique proved to be useful for the determination of low concentrations of Pt and Re in the catalyst samples.  相似文献

A series of nickel-exchanged catalysts based on ZSM-5, USY, and Mordenite zeolites has been prepared by the ionic exchange method. The NiZeol catalysts have been characterized by XRD and BET. The exchange levels and nickel contents of the catalysts have been determined by chemical analysis. The acidity of the zeolite supports has been investigated using NH3 adsorption microcalorimetry. The number of acidic sites was found to decrease according to the following sequence: HUSY > HZSM-5 > HMOR. The temperature programmed reduction studies showed that the most reducible catalyst is NiZSM-5. The Ni-exchanged zeolites presented good catalytic performance in the methane reforming by CO2. At a temperature of 650°C, CH4 conversions of 71 and 54% were achieved on NiUSY and NiZSM-5 respectively. At 400°C, CO2 FTIR adsorption has shown that CO2 decomposes into CO and oxygen on NiZSM-5 which explains its reactivity at such a low temperature, while no decomposition of this probe molecule was observed on the NiUSY catalyst. The catalytic performance was found to vary in the following sequence at 650°C: NiUSY > NiZSM-5 > NiMOR. Moreover, the catalytic performances were found to depend strongly on the CO2/CH4 ratio in the feed and were markedly improved for CO2/CH4 greater than 1.  相似文献

In this work, CaO-NiO mixed oxide powders were evaluated as consecutive CO_2 chemisorbents and catalytic materials for hydrogen production thought the CH_4 reforming process. Between the NiO impregnated CaO and CaO-NiO mechanical composite, the first one presented better chemical behaviors during the CO_2 capture and CH_4 reforming processes, obtaining syngas(H_2+ CO) as final product. Results showed that syngas was produced at two different temperature ranges, between 400 and 600 °C and at T 800 °C, where the first temperature range corresponds to the CH_4 reforming process but the second temperature range was attributed to a different catalytic reaction process: CH_4 partial oxidation. These results were confirmed through different isothermal and cyclic experiments as well as by XRD analysis of the final catalytic products, where the nickel reduction was evidenced. Moreover, when a CO-O_2 flow was used during the carbonation process a triple process was achieved:(i) CO oxidation,(ii) CO_2 chemisorption and(iii) CH_4 reforming. Using this gas flow the hydrogen production was always higher than that obtained with CO_2.  相似文献

In the current paper, dry (CO2)-reforming of glycerol, a new reforming route, was carried out over alumina (Al2O3)-supported, non-promoted and lanthanum-promoted nickel (Ni) catalysts. Both sets of catalysts were synthesized via a wet co-impregnation procedure. Physicochemical characterization of the catalysts showed that the promoted catalyst possessed smaller metal crystallite size, hence higher metal dispersion compared to the virgin Ni/Al2O3 catalyst. This was also corroborated by the surface images captured by the FESEM analysis. From temperature-programmed calcination analysis, the derivative weight profiles revealed two peaks, which represent a water elimination peak at a temperature range of 373 to 473 K followed by nickel nitrate decomposition from 473 to 573 K. In addition, BET surface area measurements gave 85.0 m2·g−1 for the non-promoted Ni catalyst, whilst the promoted catalysts showed an average of 1% to 6% improvement depending on the La loadings. Significantly, reaction studies at 873 K showed that glycerol dry reforming successfully produced H2. The 2%La-Ni/Al2O3 catalyst, which possessed the largest BET surface area, gave an optimum H2 generation (9.70%) at a glycerol conversion of 24.5%.  相似文献

The influence of rhenium on the behavior of a Pt/Al2O3 catalyst was studied in n-hexane reaction by means of dilution of the catalyst bed with Re/Al2O3. Parallel to activity, selectivity and ageing data obtained in slug pulse and continuous flow reactors, the amount of the surface carbon formed during the reaction was determined and its reactivity in hydrogen atmosphere was also studied. It is suggested that in the presence of rhenium due to the increase in the amount of hydrogen available for hydrogen consuming reactions including hydrodepolymerization of the carbonaceous surface overlayer, the routes of ageing processes are changed, resulting in lower carbon content on the catalyst and less pronounced catalyst deactivation.
