 应用FDTD方法计算了单色平面波斜入射时1维介质光栅的近场,进而求出介质光栅的衍射效率。借助于周期边界条件,整个计算区域为周期结构的一个单元。考虑入射波在两种介质界面上会产生反射和透射,故在总场边界上引入入射波、反射波和透射波。给出了光栅单元截面为矩形和梯形的算例。该方法可用于斜入射情形下具有复杂结构和任意单元截面的介质栅近场及其衍射特性分析。  相似文献

本文对一般教科书中直接用菲涅耳公式解释电磁波的半波损失问题提出质疑,认为平行于入射面的反射波、折射波与入射波的电矢量振动的振幅一般不在同一直线上,由菲涅耳公式给出的反射波、折射波与入射波电矢量振动的振幅之比,只能描述其相应振幅之比的大小随入射角和折射角变化的关系,而不能反映其相应振幅间的位相随入射角和折射角变化的关系.笔者认为若将平行于入射面的电矢量振动的振幅分解为平行于界面法线和垂直于界面法线的两个坐标分量,然后根据边界条件导出相应振幅坐标分量之比随入射角和折射角变化的关系。便可以较为严格地解释电磁波在界面反射中发生半波损失的物理实质。 关于电磁波的半波损失在其有关学术领域中一直是一个众说纷纭的问题,近年来,在国内举行的有关学术讨论会中,对该问题的争论重新激烈起来,其争论的焦点在于如何用菲涅耳公式解释电磁波传播至两不同介质的界面时,发生半波损失现象的物理实质。 所谓半波损失,其实质是位相突变π,即电磁波经界面反射后,反射波的电矢量振动的振幅与入射波的振幅反向,亦有π的位相差。反射波位相的改变取决于具体问题的边界条件。振幅反向即位相差为π。对应半波长(λ/2)的光程改变。并非反射过程中真实失去λ/2的光程。 经典电磁理论认为,  相似文献

本文利用逐级近似法分析了大振幅平面声波正投射在分割二种不同介质的界面上时,声波在界面上发生反射和透射的特性.计算的结果表明在计及二级近似的情况下,二级反射波和透射波除有与一级反射系数和一级透射系数平方成正比的部分外,还有用二级反射系数和二级透射系数描述的反射波和透射波,这些波同二级入射波有一定的相移,相移的大小由二种介质的声学参数和非线性参数规定.本文所获得的结果可以用来阐明已在实验上取得的提高参量阵转换效率的理论依据.  相似文献

从麦克斯韦方程组出发,结合超常介质的特殊性质,分析了电磁波在一种具有线性色散关系的各向异性超常介质中的传播特性。在线性色散关系的情况下,得到了超常介质的介电张量和磁导率张量各元素之间的条件表达式。根据能量守恒定律和电磁场的边界连续性条件,在横电波(TE)和横磁波(TM)入射时,分析了折射波矢和能流与入射波矢和能流方向之间的关系。发现无论是TE波还是TM波,在这种介质中传输时,都产生了光准直的现象,且TE波和TM波的传输方式是相反的。  相似文献

Abstract

Reflection and scattering of waves from plane and statistically rough interfaces between nonlinear media are studied theoretically. New hysteresis-type dependences of the reflection and transmission coefficients on the amplitude of the incident wave and on the angle of incidence are predicted. Scattering diagrams for diffusely reflected and transmitted fields are calculated. It is found that when the dielectric constant is a steep function of the incident amplitude, nonlinearity suppresses the Bragg resonant scattering mechanism. Smooth roughness of the boundary is shown to enhance the penetration of evanescent waves into nonlinear media.  相似文献

A simple reflection and transmission theory of plane waves at the interface of pyroelectric media is studied in this paper. In an infinite homogeneous pyroelectric medium, there are four bulk wave modes: quasi-longitudinal (QL), two quasi-transversal (QT) and one temperature (T) waves, whose velocities depend on the frequency and incident angle. Simultaneously, a quasi-surface (QS) wave on each side of the interface of pyroelectric bi-materials will appear in the general reflection and transmission problem. The quasi-surface wave has the same wave vector component with the incident waves along the interface plane. So, the reflection and transmission problem is different with the propagation wave in the infinite homogeneous space, but it is still solvable. In the reflection and transmission problem, there are ten complex continuous conditions on the interface, which are satisfied by the bulk and quasi-surface waves together. Numerical calculations are performed for bi-material PZT-6B/BaTiO3. Incidences of the quasi-longitudinal and quasi-transversal waves from the side of PZT-6B or BaTiO3 medium are discussed. The reflection and transmission amplitude coefficients and energy flow ratios varying with the incident angle are examined.  相似文献

The reflection and transmission of a light wave normally incident on a layer with a regular magnetic inhomogeneity described by a harmonic function are investigated. Solutions to the Maxwell equations for such a medium and the Jones matrices determining the magneto-optical characteristics of the structure under consideration (the coefficients of transmission and reflection and the degrees of polarization of transmitted and reflected waves) are obtained.  相似文献

This paper considers the reflection of pure spin and spin-elastic (or magneto-elastic) waves at the interface of a ferromagnetic half-space and a vacuum. For pure spin waves two cases are considered, with exchange effects, and without. It is shown that when exchange effects are taken into account, volume spin waves in the ferromagnetic half space incident at the boundary with the vacuum generate a reflected volume spin wave, and an accompanying compound surface wave propagating along the boundary and consisting of two partial inhomogeneous spin waves in the ferromagnetic half-space and a partial magneto-static inhomogeneous surface wave in the vacuum. When exchange effects are neglected the incident wave generates only a reflected volume wave in the ferromagnetic half-space.

Reflection and transmission of spin-elastic (or magneto-elastic) waves has been considered only in the case of the absence of exchange effects. An incident volume wave generates a volume spin-elastic reflected wave and one inhomogeneous magneto-static accompanying surface wave.

Excitations of the magnetic field are not transmitted into the vacuum in both cases when the exchange effect is neglected. In all cases the reflection of a spin wave has the character of a full internal reflection.  相似文献

The reflection and transmission theories of waves in pyroelectric and piezoelectric medium are studied in this paper. In general in an infinite homogeneous pyroelectric medium there are four bulk wave modes: quasi-longitudinal, two quasi-transversal and temperature waves. In an infinite homogeneous piezoelectric medium there are three bulk wave modes: quasi-longitudinal and two quasi-transversal waves. In the reflection and transmission problem there are five complex boundary conditions in the pyroelectric medium and four complex boundary conditions for the piezoelectric medium. In this paper, we find that the surface waves will be revealed in the reflection and transmission wave problem. The surface waves have the same wave vector component with the incident waves on the interface plane. The two dimensional reflection problem of waves at the interface between the semi-infinite pyroelectric medium and vacuum is researched in greater detail and a numerical example is given.  相似文献

Waves in periodic media, whose propagation is governed by nearest neighbour interaction, are investigated. The reflection and transmission coefficients are derived for a plane wave incident from medium 1 upon medium 2, without invoking common approximations. The derivation is valid for a class of waves including magneto- and electro-inductive waves, waves on short loaded dipoles, nanoparticles, coupled waveguides and acoustic waves in monatomic media. For this last case hitherto unknown microscopic reflection and transmission coefficients are derived and shown to reduce in the continuous limit to the well-known expressions in terms of acoustic impedances.  相似文献

A new approach to nonlinear wave in one-dimensional discontinuous fluid-filled elastic tube is presented. As-a model, an elastic tube which has a discontinuity of radius, thickness and Young's modulus is considered. The incident, reffe cted and transmitted waves are described by KdV equations. The reflected and transmitted waves are constructed from incident wave analytically. Fission and reflection of a soliton due to the discontinuity are explicitly shown in the lowest order  相似文献
