The enantiomeric excess of the product of conjugate addition of a thioacid to 2-cyclohexenone can be increased by proper choice of the thioacid structure, concentration and modification of the structure of the chiral catalyst.

The intercalation of ferrocene and dimethylaminomethylferrocene into -tin(IV) hydrogen phosphate (SnP) and -vanadyl phosphate has been investigated. Successful intercalation of 0.81 mol of dimethylamino-methylferrocene into -SnP by an acid-base reaction in aqueous medium to form a bilayer of protonated amines was achieved. However, ferrocene was not intercalated under the same conditions. Intercalation of -vanadyl phosphate by 0.11 mol of ferrocene in acetonic medium at room temperature was effected by a redox topotactic reaction. The voluminous dimethylaminomethylferrocene was not intercalated into -vanadyl phosphate.  相似文献

The kinetics of charge-transfer interaction betweenp-toluidine and iodine in methylene chloride was investigated in depth. Thethermal process of formation of theinner complex was found to proceed to an equilibrium. Thephotochemical process follows a different reaction coordinate, going through the formation of an exciplex between the excitedouter complex and the amine ground state. In both cases the same ionic complex (Am 2I+I 3 , whereAm stands forp-toluidine) was detected as the final product.

Zusammenfassung Die Kinetik der Charge-Transfer-Wechselwirkung zwischenp-Toluidin und Jod in Methylenchlorid wurde ausführlich untersucht. Derthermische Prozeß, der zur Bildung desinner-Komplexes führt, geht bis zu einem Gleichgewicht. Derphotochemische Prozeß folgt einer unterschiedlichen Reaktionskoordinate und verläuft über die Bildung eines Exziplexes zwischen dem angeregtenouter-Komplex und dem Amin im Grundzustand. In beiden Fällen wurde derselbe ionische Komplex (Am 2I+I 3 , wobeiAm fürp-Toluidin steht) als Endprodukt festgestellt.

The esterolysis ofm-nitrophenyl acetate (mNPA) andp-nitrophenyl acetate (pNPA), complexed with -cyclodextrin, was investigated in the solid state. At 117 and 140°C, the initial half-times ofmNPA esterolysis were 30 and 24 h, respectively, whereasp NPA esterolysis was undetectably slow. At 117°C, themNPA reaction proceeded to completion, and cyclodextrin acetate andm-nitrophenol products were identified. At 140°C,the initial rate was followed by a slow phase with a half-time of 130 h, evidently due to a structural change in the complex. Themeta/para selectivity of the solid-state reaction is considerably enhanced over the selectivity reported in aqueous solution.  相似文献

The kinetics of thermal imidization of various H-complexes of semiesters of bis(o-phthalic) acids with diamines was studied. The activation energy of the imidization was shown to increase with increasing pKa value of the diamine andE a value of the dianhydride and with decreasing nucleophilicity of the alcohol used for the synthesis of H-complexes. The experimental kinetic data and the results of quantum chemical calculations of the heats of formation of the initial H-complexes and transition states made it possible to propose a mechanism for the imidization reaction. This mechanism takes into account the catalytic effect of the carboxylic group of the semiester in theo-position with respect to the ester group.For report 6, seeIzv. Akad. Nauk, Ser. The induced circular dichroism (ICD) spectra of -cyclodextrin (-CD) complexes with 2-thioxo-1,3-benzodithiole and 2-selenoxo-1,3-benzodithiole have been measured. The effect of -cyclodextrin (-CD) on aqueous hydrolysis of methyl,p-, andm-nitrophenyl salicylates as well as on the Smiles rearrangement ofp-nitrophenyl salicylate was studied. No effect of -CD on the pH-independent rate constant of aqueous hydrolysis of methyl ester was observed, while -CD accelerated aqueous hydrolysis of nitrophenyl esters byca. 10 times. The inclusion of these esters into the cavity of -CD is accompanied by a change in the mechanism of hydrolysis: free ester in the deprotonated form undergoes hydrolysis through the mechanism of intramolecular general base catalysis, while the ester bound to cyclodextrin is hydrolyzed due to the nucleophilic attack of the deprotonated hydroxyl group of -CD at a neutral substrate molecule. The effects of cyclodextrin on the rate constant of borate-catalyzed hydrolysis were interpreted by assuming that the substrate bound to -CD undergoes borate-assisted attack at the deprotonated cyclodextrin hydroxyl group. Effects of -tocopherol (Toc) and -tocopherol acetate (TocA) on the hydrolysis activity of phospholipase D (fromStreptomyces chromofuscus) were studied in small unilamellar vesicles (SUV) of egg yolk phosphatidylcholine (PC). Choline produced in the reaction was monitored by use of a choline oxidase — oxygen electrode. Addition of 18 mol% Toc into SUV (2 mM PC) brought about a twofold rate of choline production. On the other hand, the effect of 18 mol% TocA in SUV was very small. The apparent maximum velocity,V max(app), increased by addition of Toc in SUV. The apparent Michaelis constant,K m(app), was unchanged by addition of Toc and TocA in SUV. The Toc and TocA molecules did not have significant effects when PC was solubilized in the micelles of heptaethylene glycol dodecyl ether. The effects of Toc and TocA are, therefore, not due to specific ones on the enzyme itself, but rather upon the bilayer-organization of the substrate. Measurements of spreading pressure showed complete miscibility of PC and Toc, and limited mutual solubility of PC and TocA, suggesting stronger attractive interactions between Toc and PC than those between TocA and PC in the bilayers.  相似文献

Vibratonal spectra of 2-acetyltetronic acid (ATA) (3-acetyloxolane-2,4-dione) were investigated in different aggregate states.Ab initio quantum chemical calculations (3-21G basis set) of 2-formyltetronic acid as analogue of ATA and semi empirical calculation of ATA were carried out. An improved procedure was developed for asymmetric reduction of acetophenone and propiophenone by the chiral reagent NaAl(IPTOLate)H2. This procedure is based on isolation of the chiral alcohol that formed as a crystalline host—guest complex with the IPTOL ligand. The enantiomeric enrichment of the product was as high as 97% ee. The ability of IPTOL and its analogs to form host—guest complexes with a number of ether-type solvents, 1-phenylethanol, and 1-phenylpropan-1-ol as well as thermal stabilities of IPTOL-containing complexes with these alcohols were studied.  相似文献

The two hydroxyls of yuccagenin can be glycosylated by Koenigs-Knorr condensation with acetobromorhammose in dichloroethane in the presence of mercuric cyanide. The kinetics of thermal imidization of the H-complexes derived from the diethyl ester of 3,3,4,4-benzophenonetetracarboxylic acid (EBZP) and various diamines have been studied. Algal cellulose from different origins has been analysed with special reference to the crystalline features, such as allomorphism (I/I or triclinic/monoclinic two- phase model), dimension and uniplanar orientation behaviour of the specific crystallographic plane to the cell wall surface. Three types of cellulose were identified in the algal system: I-rich/broad microfibril/0.6 nm-oriented type; I- dominant/flat-ribbon/0.53 nm-oriented type; and I- dominant/small/random-oriented type. The first type appears to occur in more primitive organisms than the other types. The three types of algal cellulose correlate well with the arrangements of cellulose synthesizing complexes, i.e. multiple-row linear type, consolidated rosette type, and isolated rosette type, respectively. In Chara two types of crystals were found: an I-dominant/ribbon shaped/0.6 nm-oriented type and an I/narrow/random-oriented type. The former type, known to occur in some families of tunicates, was first identified in algal cellulose during this study. Reducing-end staining was successfully applied to microcrystal cellulose samples of Cladophorales and Zygnematales, showing that the cellulose microfibril has a parallel-chain structure for both cellulose I and cellulose I  相似文献

The results of a study, by thermal mass spectrometric analysis and NMR spectroscopy, of the polycondensation of H-complexes are presented from which it is possible to propose a mechanism for the reaction. It is shown that conversion of the H-complexes into polyimides takes place through the formation of intermediate zwitterions with an amino acid bond after initial separation of methanol, following which elimination of water commences in one stage to form an imide ring. Procedures for the synthesis of 4,5-bis[2,5-dimethyl(3-thienyl)]-1,3-azoles based on 1,2-bis[2,5-dimethyl(3-thienyl)]-2-hydroxyethan-1-one, 2-chloro-1,2-bis[2,5-dimethyl(3-thienyl)]ethan-1-one, and 1,2-bis[2,5-dimethyl(3-thienyl)]ethane-1,2-dione were developed. The hydrogenation of 3-penten-2-one on well-defined SiO2 supported Ni, Cu, Ru, Rh, Pd and Pt catalysts has been investigated under the same experimental conditions. Reactions were performed in the liquid phase in methanol at 298 K and in the gas phase at 393 and 473 K. On the basis of the turnover yields, the activity of metals was found to decrease in the order Pt>PdRhRu>Ni>Cu. Selective hydrogenation of the olefinic double bond of 3-penten-2-one resulted in the formation of 2-pentanone which was further hydrogenated to 2-pentanol on all catalysts, except on Pd/SiO2.Part of the Center for Catalysis, Surface and Materials Science  相似文献

Summary A type of graphs derived from a cycle and associated with primitive coronoids are referred to as crowns. The characteristic polynomials and matching polynomials of crowns are studied. These notions are used to calculate the sextet polynomial for primitive coronoids. Patterns of aromatic sextets are treated in some detail.

Zusammenfassung Eine Graphentype, die von einem Cyclus abgeleitet ist und mit einfachen Coronoiden verknüpft ist, wird als Crown bezeichnet. Die charakteristischen Polynome und die matching Polynome der Crowns werden untersucht. In diesem Rahmen werden die Sextett-Polynome für einfache Coronoide berechnet. Die Muster der aromatischen Sextette werden im Detail behandelt.

Infrared spectroscopic characteristics and gas chromatographic retention indices of tri- and tetramethylcyclohexenyl butenyl ketones were determined at different temperatures of analysis. Thermodynamic characteristics of sorption on the apolar stationary phase were calculated. The sorption characteristics of tri- and tetramethylcyclohexenyl butenyl ketones show that under conditions of capillary gas chromatography these compounds are retained due to the dispersive energy. It was shown by FTIR spectroscopy that the formation of conjugation systems of double bonds is responsible for the higher retention of the -isomers compared with that of the -isomers. The shortening of the distance between the carbonyl and trimethylcyclohexenyl groups was found to be accompanied by a decrease in the retention of the isomeric compounds.  相似文献
