The phosphorus ylide [Ph3PCHC(O)C6H4‐NO2–4] reacted with Pd(OAc)2 to give the C,C‐orthometallated complex [Pd{κ2(C,C)‐C6H4PPh2C(H)CO(C6H4‐NO2–4)}(μ‐OAc)]2, which underwent bridge exchange reaction with NaN3, NaCl, KBr and KI, respectively, to afford the binuclear C,C‐orthopalladated complexes [Pd{κ2(C,C)‐C6H4PPh2C(H)CO(C6H4‐NO2–4)}(μ‐X)]2 (X = N3 ( 1 ), Cl ( 2 ), Br ( 3 ) and I ( 4 )). The complexes were identified using spectroscopy (infrared and NMR), CHNS technique and single‐crystal X‐ray structure analysis. Thereafter, palladium nanoparticles with narrow size distribution were easily prepared using the refluxing reaction of iodo‐bridged orthopalladated complex 4 with poly(N ‐vinyl‐2‐pyrrolidone) (PVP) as the protecting group. The PVP‐stabilized palladium nanoparticles were characterized using a variety of techniques including X‐ray diffraction, transmission and scanning electron microscopies, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, inductively coupled plasma analysis and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The catalytic activity of the PVP‐stabilized palladium nanoparticles was evaluated in the Suzuki reaction of phenylboronic acid and the Heck reaction of styrene with aryl halides of varying electron densities. This catalyst exhibited excellent catalytic activity for Suzuki cross‐coupling reactions in ethanol–water. Notably, aryl chlorides which are cheaper and more accessible than their bromide and iodide counterparts also reacted satisfactorily using this catalyst. After completion of reactions, the catalyst could be separated using a simple method and used many times in repeat cycles without considerable loss in its activity.  相似文献

Graphene oxide (GO) was functionalized with a N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) precursor, 3-(3-aminopropyl)-1-methylimidazolium bromide ([APMIm][Br]) for the immobilization of palladium catalyst. The GO-supported NHC precursor (IMGO) formed a stable complex with Pd(OAc)2 (GO–NHC–Pd), which showed excellent catalytic activity and fast reaction kinetics in the aqueous-phase Suzuki reaction of aryl bromides and chlorides at relatively mild conditions (1 h at 50 °C). The GO–NHC–Pd catalyst was reused several times without any loss of its catalytic activity in the Suzuki reaction of aryl bromide.  相似文献

Regioregular poly(3‐octylthiophene)s were synthesized through a palladium‐catalyzed Suzuki polycondensation of 2‐(5‐iodo‐4‐octyl‐2‐thienyl)‐4,4,5,5‐tetramethyl‐1,3,2‐dioxaborolane. The effects of the palladium catalyst {tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0) [Pd(PPh3)4], palladium(II) acetate [Pd(OAc)2], [1, 1′‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene]dichloropalladium(II) [Pd(dppf)Cl2], tris(dibenzylideneacetone)dipalladium(0), or bis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(II) dichloride [Pd(PPh3)2Cl2]} and the reaction conditions (bases and solvents) were investigated. NMR spectroscopy revealed that poly(3‐octylthiophene)s prepared via this route were essentially regioregular. According to size exclusion chromatography, the highest molecular weights were obtained with in situ generated Pd(PPh3)4 and tetrakis(tri‐o‐tolylphosphine]palladium(0) {Pd[P(o‐Tol)3]4} catalysts or more reactive, phosphine‐free Pd(OAc)2. Matrix‐assisted laser desorption/ionization time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry was used to analyze end groups and allowed the determination of some mechanistic aspects of the Suzuki polycondensation. The polymers were commonly terminated with hydrogen or iodine as a result of deboronation and some deiodination. Pd(PPh3)4, Pd(PPh3)2Cl2, and Pd[P(o‐Tol)3]4 induced aryl–aryl exchange reactions with the palladium center and resulted in some chains having phenyl‐ and o‐tolyl‐capped chain ends. Pd(dppf)Cl2 yielded only one type of chain, and it had hydrogen end groups. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem 43: 1454–1462, 2005  相似文献

A palladium–fibroin complex (Pd/Fib.) was prepared by the addition of sonicated fibroin fiber in water to palladium acetate solution. Pd (OAc)2 was absorbed by fibroin and reduced with NaBH4 at room temperature to the Pd(0) nanoparticles. Powder‐X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy–energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, Fourier transform‐infrared, CHN elemental analysis and inductively coupled plasma‐atomic emission spectroscopy were carried out to characterize the Pd/Fib. catalyst. Catalytic activity of this finely dispersed palladium was examined in the Heck coupling reaction. The catalytic coupling of aryl halides (‐Cl, ‐Br, ‐I) and olefins led to the formation of the corresponding coupled products in moderate to high yields under air atmosphere. A variety of substrates, including electron‐rich and electron‐poor aryl halides, were converted smoothly to the targeted products in simple procedure. Heterogeneous supported Pd catalyst can be recycled and reused several times.  相似文献

An efficient heterogeneously palladium catalysed procedure for the vinylation of aryl iodides and bromides is reported. Using common reaction conditions (Pd/C 2 mol %, AcONa·3H2O, NMP or NMP/H2O), good to complete conversions (40-100%) with high selectivities (79-100%) towards the expected vinylaromatic were achieved.  相似文献

The process and mechanism of the ligand volume controlled Pd(PR3)2 (PR3=PH3, PMe3, and PtBu3) oxidative addition with aryl bromide were investigated, using density functional theory method with the conductor-like screening model. Association pathway and dissocia-tion pathway were investigated by the comparison of several energies. The cleavage energy of Pd(PR3)2 complex was calculated, as well as the oxidative addition reaction barrier energy of Pd(PR3)n (n=1,2) with aryl bromide in N,N-dimethylformamide solvent. This study proved that the ligands volume possessed a great impact on the mechanism of oxidative addition: less bulky ligand palladium associated with aryl bromide via two donor ligands, but larger bulky ligand palladium coordinated via monoligand.  相似文献

The sonochemical synthesis of stable palladium nanoparticles has been achieved by ultrasonic irradiation of palladium(II) nitrate solution. The starting solutions were prepared by the addition of different concentrations of palladium(II) nitrate in ethylene glycol and poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP). The resulting mixtures were irradiated with ultrasonic 50 kHz waves in a glass vessel for 180 min. The UV-visible absorption spectroscopy and pH measurements revealed that the reduction of Pd(II) to metallic Pd has been successfully achieved and that the obtained suspensions have a long shelf life. The protective effect of PVP was studied using Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. It has been found that, in the presence of ethylene glycol, the stabilization of the nanoparticles results from the adsorption of the PVP chain on the palladium particle surface via the coordination of the PVP carbonyl group to the palladium atoms. The effect of the initial Pd(II) concentration on the Pd nanoparticle morphology has been investigated by transmission electron microscopy. It has been shown that the increase of the Pd(II)/PVP molar ratio from 0.13 x 10(-3) to 0.53 x 10(-3) decreases the number of palladium nanoparticles with a slight increase in particle size. For the highest Pd(II)/PVP value, 0.53 x 10(-3), the reduction reaction leads to the unexpected smallest nanoparticles in the form of aggregates.  相似文献

The regioselective 5-arylation of imidazole derivatives with aryl bromides using a low loading of a phosphine-free palladium catalyst gives a simple and economic access to the corresponding 5-arylimidazoles. The choice of the base and of the solvent was found to be crucial to form these products in high yields. Using KOAc as the base, DMAc as the solvent and only 0.5-0.01 mol % Pd(OAc)2 as the catalyst, the target products were obtained in moderate to good yields with a wide variety of aryl bromides. Substituents such as fluoro, trifluoromethyl, formyl, acetyl, propionyl, ester or nitrile on the aryl bromide are tolerated. Sterically congested aryl bromides or heteroaryl bromides can also be employed. The nature of the substituents on the imidazole derivative has an important influence on the yields.  相似文献

A hierarchical titanium dioxide microspheres-supported palladium catalyst (Pd/TiO2-350) was prepared and characterized using BET, XRD, XPS, SEM, EDX, and TEM analyses. An ICP-OES analysis of Pd/TiO2-350 further confirmed the successful Pd immobilization on TiO2 with a palladium loading of 0.1 mmol g?1. Pd/TiO2-350 efficiently catalyzed the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction of aryl iodides with arylboronic acids to give the corresponding biaryl derivatives in good to excellent yields. After the reaction, the catalyst was recovered by centrifugation and reused three times without significant loss of its catalytic activity. Moreover, the loading of palladium species further decreased to 0.001 mol%, and the total turnover number and turnover frequency of the catalyst reached as high as 99 000 and 0.57 s?1, respectively.  相似文献

A simple, efficient and less expensive protocol for the phosphine-free C–C coupling reactions and synthesis of anilines in the presence of 2-aminobenzamide complex of palladium supported on Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles (Pd(0)-ABA-Fe3O4) has been reported. The Suzuki reaction was carried out in water or PEG using phenylboronic acid (PhB(OH)2) or sodium tetraphenyl borate (NaBPh4). Pd(0)-ABA-Fe3O4 has been found promising for Heck reaction of butyl acrylate, styrene or acrylonitrile with aryl halides (including Cl, Br and I). Also, Pd(0)-ABA-Fe3O4 has been found as efficient catalyst for the amination of aryl halides using aqueous ammonia. The products have been obtained in short reaction times and high yields. The catalyst was easily separated using an external magnet from the reaction mixture and reused for several runs without significant loss of its catalytic efficiency or palladium leaching. The leaching of catalyst has been examined by hot filtration and ICP-OES technique. The nanomagnetical catalyst was characterized by FTIR, TGA, XRD, VSM, TEM, SEM, EDS, DLS and ICP-OES techniques.  相似文献

Fuberidazole has been successfully immobilized onto nano-Fe3O4 supported (3-chloropropyl)trimethoxysilane (3-CPTS) leading to a novel functionalized magnetic nanoparticle (FB/MNP). The Pd(0) complex, Pd-FB/MNP, was prepared by grafting Pd (OAc)2 on FB/MNP and subsequent reduction of a synthesized Pd (II) complex using NaBH4. Pd-FB/MNP has been characterized by FT-IR, SEM, TGA, XRD, ICP, EDS, BET and VSM. The Pd(0) complex proved to be an efficient phosphine- and halide-free recyclable heterogeneous catalyst for Suzuki as well as for Stille C-C coupling reactions showing high catalytic activity (up to 98%). Its catalytic activity in both reactions has been studied in PEG-400 as a green solvent. Besides, the selectivity of aryl iodide and aryl bromide over aryl chloride is observed during the C-C coupling reaction. The catalyst could be recovered easily from the reaction mixture using an external magnet device and recycled several times without considerable loss in activity. Additionally, the results of a palladium leaching test of the nano-catalyst demonstrate that no leaching of Pd took place during the C-C coupling process making the procedure environmentally friendly.  相似文献

The palladium catalyzed alkynylation of aryl halides (Sonogashira reaction) has been achieved in pure water without any additives or phase transfer catalysts. The reaction, which requires only 0.5 mol % of Pd(PPh3)4 catalyst, is remarkably fast (30 min at 70 °C) producing high yields of the aryl alkyne products.  相似文献

Palladium-catalyzed α-arylation of ketones, which can efficiently give coupling products by using appropriate ligands and bases, could be applied to a polycondensation reaction. Stable N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHC) were used as favorable ligands coordinating the Pd catalysts, which were generated in situ from commercially available palladium compounds such as Pd(OAc)2 and Pd2(dba)3 as suitable catalyst precursors in this polymerization. Using small amounts of binary catalysts, poly(aryl alkyl ketone)s were afforded in high yields from haloarylketones in the presence of a base. A primarily prepared palladium catalyst having an NHC ligand, [Pd(OAc)2(NHC)], also efficiently catalyzed the polycondensation, whereas a palladium compound bearing two carbene ligands, [PdX2(NHC)2], did not.  相似文献

This report describes the fluoride-mediated homocoupling of aryl iodides and bromides catalyzed by palladium(0). This coupling protocol is tolerant of electron-donating and electron-withdrawing substitutents on the aryl halide, as well as ortho substitution. Optimum reaction conditions entail 10 mol% Pd(dba)2, 3 equiv of tetrabutyl ammonium fluoride (TBAF) in DMF at 90 °C.  相似文献

Palladium‐catalysed cross‐coupling reactions are some of the most frequently used synthetic tools for the construction of new carbon–carbon bonds in organic synthesis. In the work presented, Pd(II) complex catalysts were synthesized from palladium chloride and nitrogen donor ligands as the precursors. Infrared and 1H NMR spectroscopic analyses showed that the palladium complexes were formed in the bidentate mode to the palladium centre. The resultant Pd(II) complexes were tested as catalysts for the coupling of organobismuth(III) compounds with aryl and acid halides leading to excellent yields with high turnover frequency values. The catalysts were stable under the reaction conditions and no degradation was noticed even at 150°C for one of the catalysts. The reaction proceeds via an aryl palladium complex formed by transmetallation reaction between catalyst and Ar3Bi. The whole synthetic transformation has high atom economy as all three aryl groups attached to bismuth are efficiently transferred to the electrophilic partner.  相似文献

Reaction conditions for the three‐component synthesis of aryl 1,3‐diketones are reported applying the palladium‐catalyzed carbonylative α‐arylation of ketones with aryl bromides. The optimal conditions were found by using a catalytic system derived from [Pd(dba)2] (dba=dibenzylideneacetone) as the palladium source and 1,3‐bis(diphenylphosphino)propane (DPPP) as the bidentate ligand. These transformations were run in the two‐chamber reactor, COware, applying only 1.5 equivalents of carbon monoxide generated from the CO‐releasing compound, 9‐methylfluorene‐9‐carbonyl chloride (COgen). The methodology proved adaptable to a wide variety of aryl and heteroaryl bromides leading to a diverse range of aryl 1,3‐diketones. A mechanistic investigation of this transformation relying on 31P and 13C NMR spectroscopy was undertaken to determine the possible catalytic pathway. Our results revealed that the combination of [Pd(dba)2] and DPPP was only reactive towards 4‐bromoanisole in the presence of the sodium enolate of propiophenone suggesting that a [Pd(dppp)(enolate)] anion was initially generated before the oxidative‐addition step. Subsequent CO insertion into an [Pd(Ar)(dppp)(enolate)] species provided the 1,3‐diketone. These results indicate that a catalytic cycle, different from the classical carbonylation mechanism proposed by Heck, is operating. To investigate the effect of the dba ligand, the Pd0 precursor, [Pd(η3‐1‐PhC3H4)(η5‐C5H5)], was examined. In the presence of DPPP, and in contrast to [Pd(dba)2], its oxidative addition with 4‐bromoanisole occurred smoothly providing the [PdBr(Ar)(dppp)] complex. After treatment with CO, the acyl complex [Pd(CO)Br(Ar)(dppp)] was generated, however, its treatment with the sodium enolate led exclusively to the acylated enol in high yield. Nevertheless, the carbonylative α‐arylation of 4‐bromoanisole with either catalytic or stoichiometric [Pd(η3‐1‐PhC3H4)(η5‐C5H5)] over a short reaction time, led to the 1,3‐diketone product. Because none of the acylated enol was detected, this implied that a similar mechanistic pathway is operating as that observed for the same transformation with [Pd(dba)2] as the Pd source.  相似文献

An N‐heterocyclic carbene and phosphite synergistically enhanced Pd/C catalyst system has been developed for Suzuki coupling of aryl chlorides and aryl boronic acids from commercially available Pd/C with sterically demanding N,N′‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazolylidene and trimethylphosphite. A remarkable increase in catalytic activity of Pd/C was observed when used along with 1 equiv. N,N′‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazolium chloride and 2 equiv. phosphite with respect to palladium in appropriate solvents that were found to play a crucial role in Pd/C‐NHC‐P(OR)3‐catalyzed Suzuki coupling. A dramatic ortho‐substitution effect of carbonyl and nitrile groups in aryl chlorides was observed and explained by a modified quasi‐heterogeneous catalysis mechanism. The Pd/C catalyst could be easily recovered from reaction mixtures by simple filtration and only low palladium contamination was detected in the biparyl products. A practical process for the synthesis of 4‐biphenylcarbonitrile has therefore been developed using the N‐heterocyclic carbene/phosphite‐assisted Pd/C‐catalyzed Suzuki coupling.
