Phonon spectra of CaB6 and RB6 (R=Yb, Ce, and Pr) have been investigated by Raman scattering. We found clear spectral difference between divalent cation hexaboride and trivalent one. Eg mode shows the doublet spectra for only the divalent crystals of CaB6 and YbB6. The doublet spectra are understood by the two-dimensional charge distribution on B6 without lattice distortion. In addition, the scattered intensities of the phonons change at around the ferromagnetic Curie temperature for YbB6 and at T?600 K for CaB6. These are the characteristic temperatures due to the change of the electronic system.  相似文献

SrMoO4 was studied under compression up to 25 GPa by angle-dispersive X-ray diffraction. A phase transition was observed from the scheelite-structured ambient phase (space group I41/a) to a monoclinic fergusonite phase (space group I2/a) at 12.2(9) GPa. The unit-cell parameters of the high-pressure phase are a=5.265(9) Å, b=11.191(9) Å, c=5.195 (5) Å, and β=90.9(1)°, Z=4 at 13.1 GPa. There is no significant volume collapse at the phase transition. No additional phase transitions were observed and on release of pressure the initial phase is recovered, implying that the observed structural modifications are reversible. The reported transition appeared to be a ferroelastic second-order transformation producing a structure that is a monoclinic distortion of the low-pressure phase and was previously observed in compounds isostructural to SrMoO4. A possible mechanism for the transition is proposed and its character is discussed in terms of the present data and the Landau theory. Finally, the room temperature equation of states is reported and the anisotropic compressibility of the studied crystal is discussed in terms of the compression of the Sr-O and Mo-O bonds.  相似文献

The 6H BaRu1−xMnxO3 with the hexagonal BaTiO3 structure was synthesized using high-pressure sintering method. It is found that the lattice parameter deviates from Vegard's law at x=0.3 for the solid solutions due to the charge transfer effects at B-site. The substitution of Mn for Ru cations gives rise to the short-range magnetic ordering, due to the disordered arrangement of Ru and Mn cations. The compounds are weak ferromagnetic in the x range 0.05-0.40, with the maximal Curie temperature Tc 175.2 K at x=0.10. They are of spin-glass-like magnetism at lower temperature at x?0.1. With Mn doping, the 6H BaRuO3 transforms to a semiconductor from the primal metal at x=0.30. The resistance as a function of temperature below about 70 K follows the two-dimensional variable-range hopping conduction mechanism in BaRu0.50Mn0.50O3.  相似文献

Cubic lanthanum oxide was prepared by the oxidation of lanthanum iodide at 700 °C in air atmosphere. The oxide was characterized by X-ray fluorescence analysis, X-ray diffraction, and Fourier-transformed infrared spectroscopy. The cubic La2O3 is most likely a single lanthanum oxide phase containing periodate hydrate and hydroxycarbonate species. The cubic lanthanum oxide is found to be chemically stable even if they are dispersed in water because of the presence of hydroxycarbonate and periodate hydrate species which inhibit the bulk hydroxylation.  相似文献

A short synthesis of l-aminohomohistidine (l-Ahh), which starts from readily available δ-hydroxy-l-lysine is described. The embedding of the basic guanidino moiety in the aromatic imidazole lowers the basicity of the side chain to a pKa of 8.3. It is proposed that l-Ahh may be employed as an arginine-mimetic in medicinal chemistry.  相似文献

A range of the methyl glycosides of 2-deoxy-2-aminohexoses, comprising d-allosamine, d-mannosamine, d-idosamine and d-talosamine, were prepared from the corresponding d-aldopentoses via a seven step synthetic sequence. The doubly diastereoselective conjugate addition of the requisite antipode of lithium N-benzyl-N-(α-methylbenzyl)amide and in situ enolate oxidation with the requisite antipode of camphorsulfonyloxaziridine (CSO) was used as the key, stereodefining step. Sequential reduction of the resultant α-hydroxy-β-amino esters and oxidative cleavage of the C(1)–C(2) diol unit furnished the corresponding α-amino aldehydes. Subsequent N- and O-deprotection gave the target compounds (as mixtures of anomers) in good yield and high diastereoisomeric purity.  相似文献

The preparations of d-ribo- and l-lyxo-phytosphingosines (1, 2) are described. Chelation-controlled addition of tetradecylmagnesium bromide to pentylidene-protected d-threitol aldehyde 6 afforded the key intermediate tetrol 7, providing the desired l-lyxo stereochemistry of phytosphingosine. Inversion at C4 of intermediate 7 provided the d-ribo stereochemistry.  相似文献

The potential use of alanine for the production of nanoparticles is presented here for the first time. Silver nanoparticles were synthesized using a simple green method, namely the thermal treatment of silver nitrate aqueous solutions with dl-alanine. The latter compound was employed both as a reducing and a capping agent. Particles with average size equal to 7.5 nm, face-centered cubic crystalline structure, narrow size distribution, and spherical shape were obtained. Interaction between the silver ions present on the surface of the nanoparticles and the amine group of the dl-alanine molecule seems to be responsible for reduction of the silver ions and for the stability of the colloid. The bio-hybrid nano-composite was used as an ESR dosimeter. The amount of silver nanoparticles in the nanocomposite was not sufficient to cause considerable loss of tissue equivalency. Moreover, the samples containing nanoparticles presented increased sensitivity and reduced energetic dependence as compared with pure dl-alanine, contributing to the construction of small-sized dosimeters.  相似文献

Speed of sound and density values for ternary systems (amino acid + salt + water): l-isoleucine/l-proline/l-glutamine in aqueous solutions of 1.5 M KCl, 1 M KNO3, and 0.5 M K2SO4 have been measured for several concentrations of amino acids at different temperatures (303.15, 308.15, 313.15, 318.15, and 323.15 K). Using speed of sound and density data, the thermodynamic parameters such as isentropic compressibility (κs), change in isentropic compressibility (Δκs) and relative change (Δκs/κ0) in isentropic compressibility have been computed. The isentropic compressibility values decrease with increase in the amino acid concentration as well as with temperature. The decrease in κs values with increase in concentration of l-isoleucine/l-proline/l-glutamine in 1.5 M KCl, 1 M KNO3, and 0.5 M K2SO4 has been ascribed to an increase in the number of incompressible zwitterions in solutions, and the formation of ‘zwitterions-ions’ and ‘zwitterions-water dipole’ entities in solutions. The decrease in κs values with increase in temperature has been attributed to the corresponding decrease of κrelax (a relaxational part of compressibility), which is dominant over the corresponding increase of κ (an instantaneous part of compressibility). The trends of variation of Δκs and Δκs/κ0 with variations in solute concentration and temperature have also been discussed in terms of solute-solute and solute-solvent intermolecular/interionic interactions operative in the systems.  相似文献

Two sulfur-containing amino acids, dl-cysteine (Cys) and dl-penicillamine (PenA), were condensed with ninhydrin to form their spirothiazolidine derivatives. These were separated by HPLC using α-acid glycoprotein (AGP) and β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) columns. The resolution conditions were optimized and the results were compared. Since the method provided resolution greater than 2 it was also applied to preparative separation. After separation, each of them was detagged using Zn dust and 10% aqueous trifluoroacetic acid. For analytical purposes dinitrophenyl (DNP) derivatives of dl-Cys and dl-PenA were also prepared and were resolved on both the columns. The detection was carried out using photodiode array detection system at 231 nm. The limits of detection were found to be 0.01% and 0.004% for spirothiazolidine carboxylic acid and DNP derivatives, respectively.  相似文献

Phenylene-thiophene oligomers bearing peracetylated β-d-glucose or N-BOC-l-phenylalanine as chiral substituents were synthesized in good yields by a versatile protocol based on the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction. We report herein an asymmetric synthesis of the modified amino acid N-Cbz-l-BMAA and seven of its alkyl derivatives (2a-h) from N-Cbz-l-serine via ring-opening of the β-lactone (formed under modified Mitsunobu conditions) by different amines. This procedure is simple, one-pot and can generate various derivatives that can be investigated for their toxicological effects. In addition, it can be employed to produce analytical standards for water monitoring as well as labeled compounds for biotransformation studies. This toxin has been the focus of serious ecological and public concern since its implication in degenerative disease such as Alzheimer and Parkinsonism dementia.  相似文献

In this paper, we report on the absorption and photoluminescence properties of Tm3+/Dy3+ ions co-doped oxyfluoride germanate glasses for white light emission. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) and differential thermal analysis (DTA) profiles of the host glass have been carried out to confirm its structure and thermal stability. From the measured absorption spectra, Judd-Ofelt (J-O) intensity parameters (Ω2, Ω4 and Ω6) have been evaluated for Tm3+ and Dy3+ ions. A combination of blue, yellow and red emissions has emerged in these glasses, which allows the observation of bright white light when the glasses are excited by the ultraviolet light. The white light luminescence colour could be changed by varying the excitation wavelength. Also, various colours of luminescence, including white light, can be easily tuned by adjusting the concentrations of Tm3+ or Dy3+ ions in the co-doped glasses. Concentration quenching effect was also investigated and possible energy transfer mechanism from Dy3+→Tm3+ ions was explained which is also confirmed by the decay lifetime measurements.  相似文献

The d-gluco-, l-ido-, d-galacto-, and l-altro-configured glycaro-1,5-lactams 1-4 were prepared from the known tartaric anhydride 5 via the aldehyde 6. These lactams are known (1) or potential (2-4) inhibitors of β-d-glucuronidases and α-l-iduronidases. Olefination of 6 to the (E)- and (Z)-alkenes 7 or 8, followed by reagent or substrate controlled dihydroxylation, lactonization, azidation, reduction, and deprotection led in 10 steps and in overall yields of 11-20% to the title lactams.  相似文献

To control the depolymerization process of poly(l-lactic acid) into l,l-lactide for feedstock recycling, the racemization of l,l-lactide as a post-depolymerization reaction was investigated. In the absence of a catalyst, the conversion to meso-lactide increased with increase in the heating temperature and time at a higher rate than the conversion into oligomers. The resulting high composition of meso-lactide suggests that the direct racemization of l,l-lactide had occurred in addition to the known racemization mechanism that occurs on the oligomer chains. In the presence of MgO, the oligomerization rapidly proceeded to reach an equilibrium state between monomers and oligomers. The equilibrium among l,l-, meso-, and d,d-lactides was found to be a convergent composition ratio l,l-:meso-:d,d-lactides = 1:1.22:0.99 (wt/wt/wt) after 120 min at 300 °C. This composition ratio also indicates that in addition to the known racemization reaction on the oligomer chains, direct racemization among the lactides is also a frequent occurrence.  相似文献
